在口腔医学临床实践中,对及时发现早期、细微硬组织的变化提出了越来越高的要求.由于口腔颌面部硬组织结构复杂,运用常规的影像学检测手段常难以对早期病损作出准确的诊断.即使已存在明显的牙槽骨丧失,但确诊变化程度,常受种种因素干扰... 在口腔医学临床实践中,对及时发现早期、细微硬组织的变化提出了越来越高的要求.由于口腔颌面部硬组织结构复杂,运用常规的影像学检测手段常难以对早期病损作出准确的诊断.即使已存在明显的牙槽骨丧失,但确诊变化程度,常受种种因素干扰而发生误差.在口腔种植中,早期存在的种植体周围的碟形或角形缺损,以及沿着根状种植体螺纹的骨丧失很难在常规影像上发现.此外,对引导组织再生技术的早期效果也需精确、灵敏的评估技术.目前较常用的是依靠临床手术直视下或放射影像学观察两种方法.如使用手术方法观察,必须进行两次手术,可能会损伤新的结缔组织附着;而影像学评估则是目前最佳的非创伤性方法.因此,放射数字减影技术(Digital Subtraetion Radiography,DSR)作为具有高度敏感性的影像诊断方法逐步被应用到口腔临床医学. 展开更多

In order to enhance the mechanical properties of the selective laser-melted(SLM) high-Mg content AlSiMg1.4 alloy,the Zr element was introduced.The influence of Zr alloying on the processability,microstructure,and mechanical properties of the alloy was systematically investigated through performing microstructure analysis and tensile testing.It was demonstrated that the SLM-fabricated AlSiMg1.4-Zr alloy exhibited high process stability with a relative density of over 99.5% at various process parameters.Besides,the strong grain refinement induced by the primary Al3Zr particle during the melt solidification process simultaneously enhanced both the strength and plasticity of the alloy.The values for the yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of the SLM-fabricated AlSiMg1.4-Zr were(343±3) MPa,(485±4) MPa,and(10.2±0.2)%,respectively,demonstrating good strengthplasticity synergy in comparison to the AlSiMg1.4 and other Al-Si-based alloys fabricated by SLM. 展开更多

The effects of current pulsing on the microstructure, hardness and tensile properties at different temperatures of gas tungsten arc (GTA) weldments of titanium matrix composites were studied. Full-penetration butt joints were made with or without current pulsing. Optical microscopy, hardness test and scanning electron microscopy were employed to evaluate the metallurgical characteristics of welded joints. Tensile properties of weldments at different temperatures were studied and correlated with the microstructure. The results exhibit that current pulsing leads to the refinement of the weld microstrucmre and TiB whisker and the redistribution of reinforcements resulting in higher hardness, tensile strength and ductility of weldments in the as-welded condition. 展开更多

The as-cast and as-extruded Mg-9Li, Mg-9Li-0.3Ce alloys were respectively prepared through a simple alloying process and hot extrusion. The microstructures of these alloys were investigated by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). The results indicate that Ce addition produces a strong grain refining effect in Mg-9Li alloy. The grain size of the as-extruded alloy reduces abruptly from 88.2 μm to 10.5 μm when the addition of Ce is 0.36%. Mg12Ce is verified and exists inside the grains or at the grain boundaries, thus possibly pins up grain boundaries and restrains the grain growth. 展开更多

Low frequency electromagnetic casting (LFEC) process with the application of an induction coil outside the conventional direct chill (DC) casting mould was used to prepare the flat ingot of 2524 alloy and the effect of electromagnetic field on the microstructure and macrosegregation of this alloy was systematically studied. The results show that the fiat ingot prepared by the LFEC process has a finer and more uniform as-cast microstructure and the grain morphology is transformed from dendrite and rosette-like to equiaxed structure. The LFEC process also shows a significant effect on macrosegregation, and with the application of electromagnetic field during casting process, the segregation in the centre of the ingot is obviously reduced. 目的探讨肌骨超声在肢体疼痛患者诊断中的应用价值。方法选取我院行肌骨超声的52例肢体疼痛患者为对象,对患者的肩、肘、手腕、膝关节、髋关节、脚踝以及肌肉肌腱等进行超声检查,观察其细微结构。结果对入组的52例肢体疼痛患者进行超声... 目的探讨肌骨超声在肢体疼痛患者诊断中的应用价值。方法选取我院行肌骨超声的52例肢体疼痛患者为对象,对患者的肩、肘、手腕、膝关节、髋关节、脚踝以及肌肉肌腱等进行超声检查,观察其细微结构。结果对入组的52例肢体疼痛患者进行超声检查,其中阳性51例(占98.08%),不同关节的单纯滑囊、滑膜炎26例(占50.98%),腱鞘炎11例(占21.57%),肌腱病5例(占9.80%),肌肉肌腱拉伤3例(占5.88%),肌腱撕裂2例(占3.92%),肌肉撕裂合并血肿4例(占7.84%)。超声检查所有阳性病例经病理诊断及磁共振扫查均得以证实,仅1例未检查出阳性,占1.92%。结论肌骨超声可清晰地显示细微组织结构,对运动下的肌肉及肌腱情况进行评估和动态观察,操作简单,可重复进行,在肢体疼痛患者诊断中具有重要的应用价值。 展开更多

Mineral and organic (maceral and kerogen)compositions, organic maturity and fluorescence of MBM are studied based on source rock samples from eastern Jiuquan (Jiudong) Basin. The results show that MBM is dominated by inorganic minerals and among the small percentage of organic components those of secondary originsare predominant over the primary species. Al-7.5Si-4Cu cast alloy melt modified by Al-5Ti-B, RE and Al-10Sr master alloys were poured in the chromite sand moulds, to investigate comparatively the effects of individual or combined additions of grain refiners and modifiers on the mechanical properties, microstructures, grain refining and modification, and intermetallic compounds of the alloy. The results show that the mechanical properties and the microstructures of Al-7.5Si-4Cu cast alloys are improved immensely by combining addition of 0.8%Al-5Ti-B, 0.1%RE and 0.1%Al-10Sr grain refiners and modifiers compared with the individual addition and cast conditions. For individual addition condition, addition of 0.8%Al-5Ti-B master alloy can obtain superior tensile strength, Brinell hardness and finer equiaxedα(Al) dendrites. The alloy with 0.1%RE master alloy shows the highest improvement in ductility because the rare earth can purify the molten metal and change the shape of intermetallic compounds. While the alloy with 0.1%Al-10Sr modifier shows only good improvement in yield strength, and the improvement of other performance is unsatisfactory. The Al-10Sr modifier has a significant metamorphism for the eutectic silicon, but will make the gas content in the aluminum alloy melt increase to form serious columnar grain structures. The effects of grain refining and modification on mean area and aspect ratio have the same conclusions obtained in the mechanical properties and the microstructures analyses. 展开更多

The Jurassic coals of the Junggar and Turpan\|Hami basins, Xinjiang, China, are characterized by abundant vitrinite. Microscopic analysis of Junggar coal samples indicates that they contain desmocollinite and hydrogen\|rich vitrinite with a low reflectivity. The hydrocarbon\|generating potential of various macerals follows the decreasing order of exinite>vitrinite>inertinite. However, desmocollinite is a principal maceral for hydrocarbon generation in this area because the content of vitrinite is higher than that of exinite. Data from simulating experiments and infrared spectra show that the hydrocarbon\|generating process occurred primarily at the lower\|mature stage in the Middle\|Lower Jurassic coal measures. Generally, crude oil from the Qigu oilfield has a close similarity in hopanoid distribution to the vitrinite and exinite from the Jurassic strata with C 23 \|C 32 pentacyclic triterpanes and γ \|lupane being present. The distribution of steranes is also similar. C 29 \|sitostane is dominant and C 27 ergostane is subordinate. Only a trace amount of cholestane is present. All this suggests that the crude oil from the Qigu oilfield was derived from Jurassic coal measures. 展开更多

The mechanical properties and microstructural evolution of zircaloy-4 subjected to cumulative strains of 1.48,2.96,4.44 and 5.91 through multiaxial forging(MAF) at cryogenic temperature(77 K) were investigated.The mechanical properties of the MAF treated alloy were measured through universal tensile testing and Vickers hardness testing equipment.The zircaloy-4 deformed up to a cumulative strain of 5.91 showed improvement in both ultimate tensile strength and hardness from 474 MPa to 717 MPa and from HV 190 to HV 238,respectively,as compared with the as-received alloy.However,there was a noticeable decrement in ductility(from 18%to 3.5%) due to the low strain hardening ability of deformed zircaloy-4.The improvement in strength and hardness of the deformed alloy is attributed to the grain size effect and higher dislocation density generated during multiaxial forging.The microstructural evolutions of deformed samples were characterized by optical microscopy and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The evolved microstructure at a cumulative strain of 5.91 obtained after MAF up to 12 cycles depicted the formation of ultrafine grains with an average size of 150-250 nm. 展开更多

Single-layer and multilayer laser additive manufacturing(LAM)for TC11 alloy with different Nd additions was conducted and the effect of Nd addition on microstructure and properties was studied.With the addition of Nd,the aspect ratio of melting pools of single-layer specimens increases and the columnar-to-equiaxed transition occurs.The originalβgrain size andαplate width of TC11−1.0Nd are significantly reduced compared with those of pure TC11 specimens.It is proposed that the evenly distributed fine Nd_(2)O_(3) precipitates of about 1.51μm are formed preferentially during rapid solidification of melting pool,and they serve as heterogeneous nucleation particles to refine the microstructure in the subsequent solidification and solid-state phase transformation.Due to the multiple effects of Nd on the microstructure,the ultimate tensile strength of TC11−1.0Nd increases,while the yield strength,ductility and microhardness decrease compared with those of pure TC11. 展开更多

Objective: To prepare microencapsulated cells releasing human tissue inhibitor ofmetalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2), and investigate their biological characteristics in vitro. Methods: Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells were stably transfected with a human TIMP-2 expression vector, encapsulated in barium alginate microcapsules and cultured in vitro. Morphological appearance of the microcapsules was observed under a light microscope. Cell viability was assessed using MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and reverse zymography were used to confirm the release of biologically active TIMP-2 from the microcapsules. Cryopreservation study of the microencapsulated cells was carried out using dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as preservative agent. Results: The microcapsules appeared like a sphere with diameter of 300-600 ~tm. The surface of the capsule wall was clearly smooth. The microencapsulated cells survived well and kept proliferating over the 6 weeks observed. No significant difference in TIMP-2 secretion was found between encapsulated and unencapsulated cells. Reverse zymography confirmed the bioactivity of MMP (matrix metalloproteinase) inhibition of TIMP-2. The cryopreservation process did not damage the microcapsule morphology nor the viability of the cells inside. Conclusion: Microencapsulated engineered CHO cells survive at least 6 weeks after preparation in vitro, and secrete bioactive TIMP-2 freely from the microcapsules. 展开更多

These cells are commonly found at injury sites and in tumors that are known to behave like "wounds that do not heal." In this article, we discuss the mechanisms of MSCs in migrating, homing, and repairing injured tissues. We also review a number of reports showing that tumor microenvironment triggers plasticity mechanisms in MSCs to induce malignant neoplastic tissue formation, maintenance, and chemoresistance, as well as tumor growth. The microstructural observation,the mass loss test,potentiodynamic polarization measurements and corrosion morphology examinations were conducted to study the influence of microstructural characteristics on corrosion behavior of Mg–5Sn–3In alloys in Hank’s solution after extrusion.The results show that the corrosion rate of the as-cast alloy is similar to that of as-extruded alloy;however,the local corrosion susceptibility is greatly weakened in the as-extruded alloy,especially in the extrusion direction.The relatively uniform corrosion morphology of the as-extruded alloy is attributed to refined Mg_(2)Sn particles,uniform distribution of Mg_(2)Sn particles and favorable crystal orientation.Meanwhile,the cytotoxicity tests confirm that the Mg–5Sn–3In alloy exhibits cytotoxicity of Grade 0−1 for NIH3T3 cells,suggesting an acceptable cytotoxicity of this alloy in the vitro assay. 展开更多

The grain refinement of the as-cast AZ31 alloys by limestone particles was investigated by grain refining tests and microstructure observations. The results show that the limestone particles have a good grain refining potency, which is deeply related to the addition level of limestone and melting temperature. The optimal addition level and melting temperature are 2.0%(mass fraction) and 720 ℃, respectively. The average grain size of AZ31 alloy is reduced from(556±60) to(236±22) μm. The sound grain refining by raw limestone particles has a good anti-fading capacity without any significant grain coarsening in a 40 min holding time. The concerned grain refining mechanism should be attributed to the inoculated Al-C and Al-C/Al-Mn-(Fe) nuclei. Ultrasonic treatment can enhance the grain refining efficiency of limestone particles through cavitation-enhanced nucleation mechanism. 展开更多

In current research,the interactive effects of different parameters such as melt overheating temperature,the location of gating system and incorporation of the grain refiner in bar and micro-powder form on the mechanical and structural characteristics of commercially pure aluminium are examined.Results show that increasing the melt temperature as well as employing a gating system with higher heat transfer rate increases the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of the pure aluminium by 7%.Also,the introduction of 2wt%Al–5Ti–1B grain refiner in bar form into the overheated melt enhances the UTS values by two times,while incorporating 2wt%Al–5Ti–1B grain refiner in micro-powder form leads to achieving 32%higher UTS compared to the samples with grain refiner in the bar form due to the elimination of Al3Ti brittle phase,as confirmed by XRD patterns and SEM fracture surface images. 展开更多

The deformation behavior of V-10Cr-5Ti alloy was studied on the Gleeble-1500 thermomechanical simulator at the temperatures of 950-1350℃, and the strain rates of 0.01-10 s^-1. Based on the Arrhenius model, dislocation density model, nucleation model and grain growth model, a numerical cellular automaton (CA) model coupling simulation of hot deformation is established to simulate and characterize the microstructural evolution during DRX. The results show that the flow stress is fairly sensitive to the strain rate and deformation temperature. The error between the predicted stress by the Arrhenius model and the actual measured value is less than 8%. The initial average grain size calculated by the CA model is 86.25 μm, which is close to the experimental result (85.63 μm). The simulations show that the effect of initial grain size on the dynamic recrystallization microstructure evolution is not significant, while increasing the strain rate or reducing the temperature can refine the recrystallized grains. 展开更多

The pattern of change of the microtubule cytoskele-ton of the root-tip cells of rice during mitosis was studied using immunofluorescence technic and confocal laser scanning microscopy. All the major stages of cell division including preprophase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase were observed. The most significant finding was that in the preprophase cells microtubules radiating from the nuclear surface to the cortex were frequently seen. During development these microtubules became closely associated with the preprophase band and prophase spindle indicating that the microtubules radiating from the nuclear surface, the preprophase band and the prophase spindle were structurally and functionally closely related to each other. Granule-like anchorage sites for the radiating microtubules at the nuclear surface were often seen and the possibility that these granule-like anchorage sites might represent the microtubule organizing centres was discussed. 展开更多
