Results Simulation result shows the estimation accuracy is improved through changing measure equation in polar coordinates. Two traditional methods for compensating function model errors, the method of adding systematic parameters and the least-squares collection method, are introduced. A proposed method based on a BP neural network (called the H-BP algorithm) for compensating function model errors is put forward. The function model is assumed as y =f(x1, x2,… ,xn), and the special structure of the H-BP algorithm is determined as ( n + 1) ×p × 1, where (n + 1) is the element number of the input layer, and the elements are xl, x2,…, xn and y' ( y' is the value calculated by the function model); p is the element number of the hidden layer, and it is usually determined after many tests; 1 is the dement number of the output layer, and the element is △y = y0-y'(y0 is the known value of the sample). The calculation steps of the H-BP algorithm are introduced in detail. And then, the results of three methods for compensating function model errors from one engineering project are compared with each other. After being compensated, the accuracy of the traditional methods is about ± 19 mm, and the accuracy of the H-BP algorithm is ± 4. 3 mm. It shows that the proposed method based on a neural network is more effective than traditional methods for compensating function model errors. 展开更多

A NURBS curve interpolator with adaptive acceleration-deceleration control is presented. In interpo- lation preprocessing, the sensitive zones of feedrate variations are processed with acceleration-deceleration control. By using the proposed algorithm, the machining accuracy is guaranteed and the feedrate is adaptively adjusted to he smoothed. The mechanical shock imposed in the servo system is avoided by the first and the second time derivatives of feedrates. A simulation of NURBS interpolation is given to demonstrate the validity and the effectiveness of the algorithm. The proposed interpolator can also be applied to the trajectory planning of the other parametric curves. 展开更多

Many algorithms have been proposed. The rank one phase estimation (ROPE) algorithm is a good estimator for phase error widely used in SAR. The ROPE algorithm is used in ISAR phase compensation and the concrete implementation steps are presented. Subsequently, the performance of ROPE is analyzed. For ISAR data that fit the ROPE algorithm model, an excellent compensation effect can be obtained with high computation efficiency. Finally, ISAR real data are processed with ROPE and its imaging result is compared with that obtained by the modified Doppler centroid tracking (MDCT) method, which is a robust and good estimator in ISAR phase compensation. 展开更多

Aiming to improve the maneuver performance of the strapdown inertial navigation attitude coning algorithm a new coning correction structure is constructed by adding a sample to the traditional compressed coning correction structure. According to the given definition of classical coning motion the residual coning correction error based on the new coning correction structure is derived. On the basis of the new structure the frequency Taylor series method is used for designing a coning correction structure coefficient and then a new coning algorithm is obtained.Two types of error models are defined for the coning algorithm performance evaluation under coning environments and maneuver environments respectively.Simulation results indicate that the maneuver accuracy of the new 4-sample coning algorithm is almost double that of the traditional compressed 4-sample coning algorithm. The new coning algorithm has an improved maneuver performance while maintaining coning performance compared to the traditional compressed coning algorithm. 展开更多

In order to correct the test error caused by the dynamic characteristics of pressure sensor and avoid the influence of the error of sensor's dynamic model on compensation results,a dynamic compensation method of the pressure sensor is presented,which is based on quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization(QPSO)algorithm and the mean square error(MSE).By using this method,the inverse model of the sensor is built and optimized and then the coefficients of the optimal compensator are got.This method is verified by the dynamic calibration with shock tube and the dynamic characteristics of the sensor before and after compensation are analyzed in time domain and frequency domain.The results show that the working bandwidth of the sensor is extended effectively.This method can reduce dynamic measuring error and improve test accuracy in actual measurement experiments. 展开更多

In addition to the traditional LQ cost function, another free form cost function was introduced to express the physical need plainly and optimize weights of LQ cost function using the search algorithms. As an instance, DLQR was applied in determining the control input in the front steering angle compensation control (FSAC) model for heavy duty vehicles. The brief simulations show that DLQR is powerful enough to specify the engineering requirements correctly and balance many factors effectively. The concept and applicable field of LQR are expanded by DLQR to optimize the system with a free form cost function. 展开更多

Based on the analyses for the characteristics of high precise GPS defor-mation monitor,according to the spatial relationship among the satellite, base point and monitoring point a new model and its corresponding algorithm were presented to solve the monitoring point deformation directly at single epoch. In this method the carrier phases is used as the basic observations, and the initial condition is precise baseline vectors obtained in the first period observations between the base point and monitoring point. This model is called the similar single difference model (SSDM). The main error sources effecting the accuracy of deformations were analyzed briefly, the single epoch algorithm of the receiver clock offset was advanced. The numerical results of test data show that the SSDM and the single epoch algorithm of receiver clock offset advanced are reliable and correct. 展开更多

Charge compensation plays a very important role in modifying the local atomic structure and moreover the spectroscopic property of an isolated luminescent center, and so has been widely adopted in phosphor designs. In this work, we carry out first-principles calculations on various cases of Ce3+ centers in Ca3Sc2Si3O12 by considering the effects of the charge com- pensations related to N3-, Sc3+, Mn2+, Mg2+, and Na+. Firstly, the local structures around Ce3+ are optimized by using density functional theory calculations with supercell model. The 4f→5d transition energies of Ce3+ are then obtained from the CASSCF/CASPT2/RASSI-SO calculations performed on Ce3+-centered embedded clusters. The calculated energies support the previous assignments of the experimental spectra. Especially, a previously unclear peak is identified to be caused by Sc3+ substituting Si4+. The results show that the first-principles calculations can be used as an effective tool for predicting and interpreting spectroscopic properties of the phosphors. 展开更多

This paper presents an automatic compensation algorithm for needle tip displacement in order to keep the needle tip always fixed at the skin entry point in the process of needle orientation in robot-assisted percutaneous surgery. The algorithm, based on a two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) robot wrist (not the mechanically constrained remote center of motion (RCM) mechanism) and a 3-DOF robot ann, firstly calculates the needle tip displacement caused by rotational motion of robot wrist in the arm coordinate frame using the robotic forward kinematics, and then inversely compensates for the needle tip displace- ment by real-time Cartesian motion of robot arm. The algorithm achieves the function of the RCM and eliminates many mechanical and virtual constraints caused by the RCM mechanism.
