In this tunneling framework, choosing a set of appropriate matrices γ^μ is an important technique for fermions tunneling method. In this paper, motivated by Kerner and Man's fermions tunneling method of 4 dimension black holes, we further improve the analysis to investigate Hawking tunneling radiation from a rotating charged black hole in 5-dimensional gauged supergravity by constructing a set of appropriate matrices γ^μ for general covariant Dirac equation. Finally, the expected Hawking temperature of the black hole is correctly recovered, which takes the same form as that obtained by other methods. This method is universal, and can also be directly extend to the other different-type 5-dimensional charged black holes.展开更多

Radioactive tritium (T) will be produced as by-product of the D-Li reaction. Y hot trap is expected as an effective system to recover T from the liquid Li target loop. In the present study, absorption behavior of hydrogen isotopes in Y plates is experimentally and analytically investigated under stirring conditions of liquid Li. Experiments clarified that H2 absorption rates of solid Y immersed in Li are independent of the rotating rate in the range of 0 to 100 rpm and are in proportion to the inlet H2 concentration. The rate-determining step is H diffusion in Y. A mass-transfer coefficient is a useful parameter to correlate the overall H transfer from the gaseous phase through liquid Li to the solid Y plate. The effect of activation temperature on the overall performance when Y absorbs H is comparatively investigated. It is considered that heating at 673 K is effective to activate Y along with HF treatment.展开更多

The dusty gas is taken to be a mixture of small solid particles and perfect gas,and solid particles are continuously distributed in the mixture. The similarity solutions are obtained and the effects of the variation of the radiation parameter, the ratio of the density of solid particles to the initial density of the gas, the mass concentration of solid particles in the mixture and the index for the time dependent energy law are investigated. It is observed that an increase in the radiation parameter has decaying effect on the shock waves; whereas the shock strength increases with an increase in the ratio of the density of solid particles to the initial density of the gas or the index for the time dependent energy law. Also, it is found that an increase in the radiation parameter has effect to decrease the flow variables except the density and the azimuthal component of fluid velocity. A comparison is also made between rotating and non-rotating cases.展开更多
