The supporting and driving mechanisms are separated to av...To make sure that the nodule collector can walk on the soft sediments of seafloor effectively, suspension principle of deep-ocean nodule collector is proposed. The supporting and driving mechanisms are separated to avoid collector sinking. The supporting mechanism is a streamlined body with large and smooth supporting area. The grounding pressure is reduced to 0.5- 1 N/cm2 to make sure that the sinkage is limited. The impellers serve as the driving mechanism to supply enough driving power. The position between the supporting mechanism and the driving mechanism can be adjusted according to the operating condition to decrease the walking resistance and to increase driving efficiency. The test results indicate that the collector can walk on the surface of the soft sediments with the limited sinkage. The traction forces were up to 800 kg and the sinkage of the impeller was under the limitation.展开更多

With the background of Jidong oilfield, Rui Feng surfactant which could reach ultra-low interracial tension and combination surfactant RZ-JD80 with strong emulsifying property are chosen to do oil displacement and profile control-oil displacement experiment in homogeneous core and heterogeneous core respectively. The experiment is aimed to study the effect of oil displacement by injecting surfactant individually and the effect after injecting different profile control agent slug before surfactant flooding in heterogeneous cores. The results suggest that injecting Rui Feng surfactant and RZ-JD80 individually could enhance the oil displacement efficiency about 15 percentage points for homogeneous core. For strongly heterogeneous core, it is low efficiency by using either of these two surfactants individually. However, if injected a very little profile control agent slug before surfactant flooding, both of these two kinds of surfactant could enhance the oil recovery by different degree, especially, polymer microsphere plugging^RZ-JD80 flooding composite technology is more adaptable to Gao-63 reservoir. In this new approach, two plasma jets generated by high-intensity lasers collide headon-head. The center-of-mass energy of the nuclei increases accordingly, and therefore, reaction products can be significantly enhanced, especially in the sub-Coulomb barrier ranges. As a result of the fusion reaction, up to - 7.6 ×105 neutrons had been observed. This new type of "plasma collider" could provide an innovative tool to study nuclear reactions under astrophysical conditions.展开更多
Photocatalytic technology holds great promise in renewable energy and environmental protection.Herein,we report the synthesis of a class of polyaniline-sensitized BiOCI core/shell nanosheets with visible-light photoca...Photocatalytic technology holds great promise in renewable energy and environmental protection.Herein,we report the synthesis of a class of polyaniline-sensitized BiOCI core/shell nanosheets with visible-light photocatalytic activity by a one-step oxidative polymerization method and show how the hybrid nanosheet boosts the photocatalytic activity and stability for degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB).In this unique structure,the ultrathin polyaniline (PANI)as a shell with the thickness of about 1-2nm,can widen the response of the catalyst to visible light to boost photocatalysis and the BiOCI core can promote the separation of photogenerated carriers from the PANI.We demonstrate that the optimized BiOCl/ PANI core/shell photocatalyst shows nearly three times higher photocatalytic activity for the degradation of RhB than pure BLOC1and also shows high stability.This work provides a new strategy for the design of a highly efficient hybrid photo- catalyst driven by visible light.展开更多

The attractive fe...For the future energy system, we propose a new closed nuclear energy cycle system, which consists of an accelerator-driven external neutron source, a ceramic reactor and an extend AIROX reprocessing. The attractive features of this system are as follows. (l) The operating mode of the reactor is a combination of subcritical mode and critical mode. initially, the reactor would be driven by the accelerator external neutron source in subcritical mode. A few years later, the reactor would reach the critical mode, and then would operate for a long time. (2) Nuclear fuels, coolants, and structure materials in the ceramic reactor core are made up of ceramic with excellent thermodynamics properties and neutron performance. Therefore, the ceramic reactor has extremely inherent safety, good breeding performance and high power generation efficiency. (3) Fuel reprocessing uses an extend AIROX reprocessing, which is a simple high-temperature dry process and rarely involved in chemical process. In this reprocessing, only most of fission products are separated. Other isotopes, including uranium isotopes, transuranic nuclides and long-lived fission products, would re-enter the reactor as new fuels. Therefore, this closed nuclear energy system could be known as ADANES, short for Accelerator-Driven Advanced Nuclear Energy System, which can greatly improve the utilization rate of nuclear fuels, enhance the nuclear safety, reduce the nuclear proliferation and become a sustainable and low-carbon energy supply for thousands of years.展开更多

Moreover a modified longitudinal compressed bubble shape leads to a shorter dephasing distance which makes the electrons acceleration energy reduced to some extent. As a comparison we perform particle-in-cell simulations whose results are consistent with that of our theoretical consideration.展开更多
