Microstructure examination shows that the synthesized alloy has fine microstructure and co...The well-densified Ni3Al-0.5B-5Cr alloy was fabricated by self-propagation high-temperature synthesis and extrusion technique. Microstructure examination shows that the synthesized alloy has fine microstructure and contains Ni3Al, Al2O3, Ni3B and Cr3Ni2 phases. Moreover, the self-propagation high-temperature synthesis and extrusion lead to great deformation and recrystallization in the alloy, which helps to refine the microstructure and weaken the misorientation. In addition, the subsequent extrusion procedure redistributes the Al2O3 particles and eliminates the γ-Ni phase. Compared with the alloy synthesized without extrusion, the Ni3Al-0.5B-5Cr alloy fabricated by self-propagation high-temperature synthesis and extrusion has better room temperature mechanical properties, which should be ascribed to the microstructure evolution.展开更多

The microstructures and shapes vary with...(TiB2+Al2O3)/NiAl composites were synthesized by self-propagation high-temperature synthesis, and their phase compositions, microstructures and evolution modes were studied. The microstructures and shapes vary with the TiB2+Al2O3 content in the NiAl matrix. TiB2 particles take a great variety of elementary shapes such as white bars, plates, herringbones, regular cubes and cuboids. These results outline a strategy of self-assembly processes in real time to build diversified microstructures. Some TiB2 grains in sizes of 2-5μm are embeded in Al2O3 clusters, while a small number of TiB2 particles disperse in the NiAl matrix. It is believed that the higher the TiB2+Al2O3 content is, the more the regular shapes and homogeneous distributions of TiB2 and Al2O3 will be present in the NiAl matrix.展开更多

The effect of Ti-Al content on interfacial microstructure and mechanical properties of the joints was investigated. Localized melt of the substrates occurred in the joints. γ-Ni0.35Al0.30Ti0.35, NiA l3 and Ni2Al3 reaction layers formed adjacent to the substrates. Joint flaws, such as pores and cracks, made the joint density decrease and worked as the fracture source, which led to the sharp decline of joint strength. Additive Ti-Al increased joint density and strengthened the interlayer adhesion to Cf/Al. The joint flaws could be controlled by changing the Ti-Al content. When the Ti-Al content was 0.1, the joint was free of cracks with high density and reached the maximum shear strength of 24.12 MPa.展开更多

The effects of NiAl content on phase constituents and microstructures were investigated. The results show that the reaction products are composed of TiB2, TiC and NiAl. The content of NiAl increases with the adding of Ni+Al in green compacts. TiB2, TiC and NiAl grains present in different shapes in the matrix, TiB2 being in hexagonal or rectangular shapes, TiC in spherical shapes, and NiAl squeezed into the gaps of TiC and TiB2 grains. With the increase of NiAl content, the grains of TiC-TiB2-NiAl composites are refined, their density and compressive strength are improved, and the shapes of TiC grains become spherical instead of irregular ones. Finally, the fracture mechanism of the composites transforms from intergranular fracture mode to the compounded fracture mode of intergranular fracture and transgranular fracture.展开更多

Aseries of tests with different parameters of induction plasma spheroidization were applied to improving the flowability of feedstock.Mo(Si,Al)2 feedstock with excellent flowability (26.2 s/50 g) was prepared through adding hydrogen into sheath gas and decreasingthe powder feeding rate. The composition segregation occurred in the spheroidized powder after Al consumption and oxidation. An effective method was reported to prepare low-oxygen Ti powder,which included two experimental steps:the fast conversion of TiO_(2) to TiO_(x<1) powder by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS)process a...An effective method was reported to prepare low-oxygen Ti powder,which included two experimental steps:the fast conversion of TiO_(2) to TiO_(x<1) powder by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS)process and the generation of low-oxygen Ti powder by electrodeoxidizing TiO_(x<1) powder at the cathode in molten CaCl_(2).The key intermediate steps were analyzed by XRD,SEM and electrochemical testing techniques.The results demonstrated that TiO_(x<1) powder(TiO_(0.325) and TiO_(0.97))was generated after acid leaching MgO in SHS products with TiO_(2)/Mg molar ratio of 1:2,and the TiO_(x<1) powder with 16.3 wt.%oxygen could be transformed into pure titanium powder with 0.121 wt.%oxygen by electrodeoxidation at a constant potential of−3.3 V for 10 h.The electrodeoxidation of TiO_(x<1) powder in CaCl_(2) molten salt follows the step-by-step deoxidation mode,and the lattice of TiO_(x<1) powder after electrodeoxidation shrinks.展开更多
Combustion synthesis involving metallothermic reduction of Fe2O3 and TiO2 was conducted in the mode of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS)to fabricate FeAl-based composites with dual ceramic phases,TiB2/A...Combustion synthesis involving metallothermic reduction of Fe2O3 and TiO2 was conducted in the mode of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS)to fabricate FeAl-based composites with dual ceramic phases,TiB2/Al2O3 and TiC/Al2O3.The reactant mixture included thermite reagents of 0.6Fe2O3+0.6TiO2+2Al,and elemental Fe,Al,boron,and carbon powders.The formation of xFeAl−0.6TiB2−Al2O3 composites with x=2.0−3.6 and yFeAl−0.6TiC−Al2O3 composites with y=1.8−2.75 was studied.The increase of FeAl causes a decrease in the reaction exothermicity,thus resulting in the existence of flammability limits of x=3.6 and y=2.75 for the SHS reactions.Based on combustion wave kinetics,the activation energies of Ea=97.1 and 101.1 kJ/mol are deduced for the metallothermic SHS reactions.XRD analyses confirm in situ formation of FeAl/TiB2/Al2O3 and FeAl/TiC/Al2O3 composites.SEM micrographs exhibit that FeAl is formed with a dense polycrystalline structure,and the ceramic phases,TiB2,TiC,and Al2O3,are micro-sized discrete particles.The synthesized FeAl−TiB2−Al2O3 and FeAl−TiC−Al2O3 composites exhibit the hardness ranging from 12.8 to 16.6 GPa and fracture toughness from 7.93 to 9.84 MPa·m1/2.展开更多

Planni...The creation of geometric model of a ship to determine the characteristics of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic, and also for structural design and equipments arrangement are so important in the ship design process. Planning tunnel high speed craft is one of the crafts in which, achievement to their top speed is more important. These crafts with the use of tunnel have the aero-hydrodynamics properties to diminish the resistance, good sea-keeping behavior, reduce slamming and avoid porpoising. Because of the existence of the tunnel, the hull form generation of these crafts is more complex and difficult. In this paper, it has attempted to provide a method based on geometry creation guidelines and with an entry of the least control and hull form adjustment parameters, to generate automatically the hull form of plarming tunnel craft. At first, the equations of mathematical model are described and subsequent, three different models generated based on present method are compared and analyzed. Obviously, the generated model has more application in the early stages of design.展开更多

The SHS powders were fabricated by the chemical reaction between micro-sized SiC and A1 particles at very high combustion temperatures, producing the coarse A1 particles (several tens of microns) containing ultrafine SiC ceramic particles. Microstructural observation revealed that the addition of ultrafine SiC particles has a crumbling tendency of Si eutectic phase. It is suggested that the casting method combined with SHS process is promising for fabricating the Al-based MMC with ultrafine ceramic particles.展开更多

Combustion of a Ti-B powder system showed that self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) is accompanied by two types of X-ray radiation. Radiation of the first type has the maximum quantum energy - 5 keV. It is supposed that this type is caused by micro-breakdowns due to the charge separation in combustion products. Runaway electrons and soft X-ray radiation are generated due to the concentration of electric field on microparticles during breakdown. Radiation of the second type has the quantum energy up to - 15 keV. It is supposed that it is caused by exoemission of photons. UV radiation in the region of 200-300 nm is recorded during SHS in different gases (He, Ar, N2). This radiation is shown to have the highest intensity in helium at the pressure - 25 x 103 Pa.展开更多

Amino acid and mineral elements are essential nutrient, required for numerous metabolic functions, wh...An increasing number of consumers demanding health foods have favoured poultry meat from natural production system. Amino acid and mineral elements are essential nutrient, required for numerous metabolic functions, which are provided partly by the poultry. The objective of this study was to evaluate amino acid and mineral composition in meat of free-range broilers fed on grasshoppers on alpine rangeland in the Tibetan Plateau. Eighty, 28-day-old Qinjiaoma male broilers were introduced into a rangeland where there was a dense population of grasshoppers (treatment GC). Control chicken were reared under intensive condition and given a maize-soybean diet (treatment CC). At 91 days of age, 24 birds from each treatment were slaughtered. Fresh breast meats were packaged and refrigerated for determination. The results indicated that dietary grasshoppers and rearing condition significantly (P 〈 0.05) affected some amino acid and mineral elements composition. Aspartic, arginine, threonine, isoleucine and lysine were higher in the muscles from GC than those from CC, and the similar trend were also found in the content of total amino acid and essential amino acid. While tryptophan and methionine were lower (P 〈 0.05) in meat from GC than that from CC. Effect of diets and rearing condition on mineral elements was also observed, the concentration of sodium, phosphorus and iron were higher (P 〈 0.05) in muscle from GC, while calcium was higher in muscle from CC. In conclusion, the meat in free-range broilers fed on grasshoppers has the richer amino acid and mineral elements.展开更多

Storage stability klow beha...In this article, AHPS (3 - allyloxy- 2 -hydrory- 1 -Propanesulfonate salt) wassynthesized to use in emulsifier-Ne emulsion polymerization of BA/BMa/MMA systemfor high solid content latexes. Storage stability klow behavior of the latexes,morphology of the obtained latex particles, dynamic viscoelastic behavior, tensilestrength and water resistance properties of the resulted copolymers were investigated.The experimental results show that with the addition of AHPS, stability of the emulsionis greatly improved that there appears no apparent precipitation dunring thepolymerization and storage at room temperature for 6 months and at -10℃ for fourmonths. Flow of the latexes follows the Bingham body laws, diameter of the latexparticles is about 0.6μn, of which is larger than that of by conventional emulsionpolymerization(0.12μm). In addition, not only water resistance of the copolymersobtained by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization is greatly improved, but alsotensile strength is obviously enhanced.展开更多

Multiple sources of data were coll...This study examined the effectiveness of positive self-evaluation used as an intervention to cultivate students' English writing self-efficacy and improve their writing performance. Multiple sources of data were collected from 90 students of grade 10 at a high school in Beijing, including the pretest and posttest writings, writing self-efficacy questionnaires, interviews, and follow-up questionnaires over one semester. Data analyses showed that the experimental group excelled the control group in writing performance and became more confident in writing at the end of positive self-evaluation practices. This study also found that writing self-efficacy and writing performance were positively related. The students with high writing self-efficacy tended to perform better in their writing than those with low writing self-efficacy.展开更多

In this paper, the similarities and differences between adult higher education and higher education ' s self-study exam are discussed, so that a good choice is easily made by students before one of them is applied.
文摘An increasing number of consumers demanding health foods have favoured poultry meat from natural production system. Amino acid and mineral elements are essential nutrient, required for numerous metabolic functions, which are provided partly by the poultry. The objective of this study was to evaluate amino acid and mineral composition in meat of free-range broilers fed on grasshoppers on alpine rangeland in the Tibetan Plateau. Eighty, 28-day-old Qinjiaoma male broilers were introduced into a rangeland where there was a dense population of grasshoppers (treatment GC). Control chicken were reared under intensive condition and given a maize-soybean diet (treatment CC). At 91 days of age, 24 birds from each treatment were slaughtered. Fresh breast meats were packaged and refrigerated for determination. The results indicated that dietary grasshoppers and rearing condition significantly (P 〈 0.05) affected some amino acid and mineral elements composition. Aspartic, arginine, threonine, isoleucine and lysine were higher in the muscles from GC than those from CC, and the similar trend were also found in the content of total amino acid and essential amino acid. While tryptophan and methionine were lower (P 〈 0.05) in meat from GC than that from CC. Effect of diets and rearing condition on mineral elements was also observed, the concentration of sodium, phosphorus and iron were higher (P 〈 0.05) in muscle from GC, while calcium was higher in muscle from CC. In conclusion, the meat in free-range broilers fed on grasshoppers has the richer amino acid and mineral elements.
文摘In this article, AHPS (3 - allyloxy- 2 -hydrory- 1 -Propanesulfonate salt) wassynthesized to use in emulsifier-Ne emulsion polymerization of BA/BMa/MMA systemfor high solid content latexes. Storage stability klow behavior of the latexes,morphology of the obtained latex particles, dynamic viscoelastic behavior, tensilestrength and water resistance properties of the resulted copolymers were investigated.The experimental results show that with the addition of AHPS, stability of the emulsionis greatly improved that there appears no apparent precipitation dunring thepolymerization and storage at room temperature for 6 months and at -10℃ for fourmonths. Flow of the latexes follows the Bingham body laws, diameter of the latexparticles is about 0.6μn, of which is larger than that of by conventional emulsionpolymerization(0.12μm). In addition, not only water resistance of the copolymersobtained by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization is greatly improved, but alsotensile strength is obviously enhanced.
文摘This study examined the effectiveness of positive self-evaluation used as an intervention to cultivate students' English writing self-efficacy and improve their writing performance. Multiple sources of data were collected from 90 students of grade 10 at a high school in Beijing, including the pretest and posttest writings, writing self-efficacy questionnaires, interviews, and follow-up questionnaires over one semester. Data analyses showed that the experimental group excelled the control group in writing performance and became more confident in writing at the end of positive self-evaluation practices. This study also found that writing self-efficacy and writing performance were positively related. The students with high writing self-efficacy tended to perform better in their writing than those with low writing self-efficacy.
