Diverse bacterial and fungal pathogens attack plants, causing biotic stress and severe yield losses globally. These losses are expected to become more serious as climate change improves conditions for many pathogens. Therefore, identifying genes conferring broad-spectrum disease resistance and elucidating their underlying mechanisms provides important resources for plant breeding.WRKY transcription factors affect plant growth and stress responses. However, the functions of many WRKY proteins remain to be elucidated. Here,we demonstrated the role of rice(Oryza sativa)WRKY groupⅢtranscription factor OsWRKY65 in immunity.OsWRKY65 localized to the nucleus and acted as transcriptional repressor.Genetic and molecular functional analyses showed that OsWRKY65 increases resistance to the fungal pathogen Fusarium fujikuroi through downregulation of GA signaling and upregulation of JA signaling.Moreover,OsWRKY65 modulated the expression of the key genes that confer susceptibility or resistance to Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae to enhance immunity against the pathogen. In particular,OsWRKY65directly bound to the promoter region of OsSWEET13 and repressed its expression.Taken together, our findings demonstrate that the OsWRKY65 enhances resistance to fungal and bacterial pathogens in rice. 展开更多

The purpose of this study was to identify and compare the degradation efficiencies of free and entrapped bacterial consortia(Staphylococcus capitis CP053957.1 and Achromobacter marplatensis MT078618.1)to different polymers such as Sodium Alginate(SA),Sodium Alginate/Poly(Vinyl Alcohol)(SA/PVA),and Bushnell Haas Agar(BHA).In addition to SA and SA/PVA,which are cost-effective,non-toxic and have different functional groups,BHA,which is frequently encountered in laboratory-scale studies but has not been used as an entrapment material until now.Based on these, the polymers with different surface morphologies and chemical compositions were analyzed by SEM and FT-IR.While the petroleum removal efficiency was higher with the entrapped bacterial consortia than with the free one,BHA-entrapped bacterial consortium enhanced the petroleum removal more than SA and SA/PVA.Accordingly,the degradation rate of bacterial consortia entrapped with BHA was 2.039 day^(-1),SA/PVA was 1.560,SA was 0.993,the half-life period of BHA-entrapped bacterial consortia is quite low(t_(1/2)=0.339)compared with SA(t_(1/2)=0.444)and SA/PVA(t_(1/2)=0.697).The effects of the four main factors such as:amount of BHA(0.5,1,1.5,2,2.5,3 g),disc size(4,5,6,7,8 mm),inoculum concentration(1,2.5,5,7.5,10 mL),and incubation period on petroleum removal were also investigated. The maximum petroleum removal(94.5%)was obtained at≥2.5 mL of bacterial consortium entrapped in 2 g BHA with a 7 mm disc size at 168 h and the results were also confirmed by statistical analysis.Although a decrease was observed during the reuse of bacterial consortium entrapped in BHA,the petroleum removal was still above 50%at 10th cycle.Based on GC-MS analysis, the removal capacity of BHA-entrapped consortium was over 90%for short-chain n-alkanes and 80%for medium-chain n-alkanes.Overall,the obtained data are expected to provide a potential guideline in cleaning up the large-scale oil pollution in the future.Since there has been no similar study investigating petroleum removal with the bacterial consortia entrapped with BHA,this novel entrapment material can potentially be used in the treatment of petroleum pollution in advanced remediation studies. 展开更多

One of the main diseases that adversely impacts the global citrus industry is citrus bacterial canker(CBC),caused by the bacteria Xanthomonas citri subsp.citri(Xcc).Response to CBC is a complex process, with both proteinDNA as well as protein–protein interactions for the regulatory network. To detect such interactions in CBC resistant regulation,a citrus high-throughput screening system with 203 CBC-inducible transcription factors(TFs),were developed.Screening the upstream regulators of target by yeast-one hybrid(Y1H)methods was also performed.A regulatory module of CBC resistance was identified based on this system. One TF(CsDOF5.8)was explored due to its interactions with the 1-kb promoter fragment of CsPrx25,a resistant gene of CBC involved in reactive oxygen species(ROS)homeostasis regulation.Electrophoretic mobility shift assay(EMSA),dual-LUC assays,as well as transient overexpression of CsDOF5.8,further validated the interactions and transcriptional regulation. The CsDOF5.8–CsPrx25 promoter interaction revealed a complex pathway that governs the regulation of CBC resistance via H2O2homeostasis.The high-throughput Y1H/Y2H screening system could be an efficient tool for studying regulatory pathways or network of CBC resistance regulation. In addition,it could highlight the potential of these candidate genes as targets for efforts to breed CBC-resistant citrus varieties. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Bacterial infections(BI)negatively affect the natural course of cirrhosis. The most frequent BI are urinary tract infections(UTI),pneumonia, and spontaneousbacterial peritonitis(SBP).AIM To assess the relevance of bacterial infections beyond the commonly recognized types in patients with cirrhosis and to investigate their relationship with other clinical variables.METHODS We retrospectively analyzed patients with cirrhosis and BI treated between 2015 and 2018 at our tertiary care center.BIs were classified as typical and atypical, and clinical as well as laboratory parameters were compared between the two groups.RESULTS In a cohort of 488 patients with cirrhosis,we identified 225 typical BI(95 UTI,73 SBP,72 pulmonary infections)and 74 atypical BIs,predominantly cholangitis and soft tissue infections(21 each),followed by intra-abdominal BIs(n=9),cholecystitis(n=6),head/throat BIs(n=6),osteoarticular BIs(n=5),and endocarditis(n=3).We did not observe differences concerning age, sex,or etiology of cirrhosis in patients with typical vs atypical BI.Atypical BIs were more common in patients with more advanced cirrhosis,as evidenced by Model of End Stage Liver Disease(15.1±7.4 vs 12.9±5.1;P=0.005)and Child-Pugh scores(8.6±2.5 vs 8.0±2;P=0.05).CONCLUSION Atypical BIs in cirrhosis patients exhibit a distinct spectrum and are associated with more advanced stages of the disease.Hence, the work-up of cirrhosis patients with suspected BI requires detailed work-up to elucidate whether typical BI can be identified. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth(SIBO)poses diagnostic and treatment challenges due to its complex management and evolving guidelines.Patients often seek online information related to their health, prompting interest in large language models, like GPT-4,as potential sources of patient education.AIM To investigate ChatGPT-4's accuracy and reproducibility in responding to patient questions related to SIBO.METHODS A total of 27 patient questions related to SIBO were curated from professional societies,Facebook groups, and Reddit threads. Each question was entered into GPT-4 twice on separate days to examine reproducibility of accuracy on separate occasions.GPT-4 generated responses were independently evaluated for accuracy and reproducibility by two motility fellowship-trained gastroenterologists.A third senior fellowship-trained gastroenterologist resolved disagreements.Accuracy of responses were graded using the scale:(1)Comprehensive;(2)Correct but inadequate;(3)Some correct and some incorrect;or(4)Completely incorrect. Two responses were generated for every question to evaluate reproducibility in accuracy.RESULTS In evaluating GPT-4's effectiveness at answering SIBO-related questions,it provided responses with correct information to 18/27(66.7%)of questions, with 16/27(59.3%)of responses graded as comprehensive and 2/27(7.4%)responses graded as correct but inadequate. The model provided responses with incorrect information to 9/27(33.3%)of questions, with 4/27(14.8%)of responses graded as completely incorrect and 5/27(18.5%)of responses graded as mixed correct and incorrect data.Accuracy varied by question category, with questions related to“basic knowledge”achieving the highest proportion of comprehensive responses(90%)and no incorrect responses. On the other hand, the“treatment”related questions yielded the lowest proportion of comprehensive responses(33.3%)and highest percent of completely incorrect responses(33.3%).A total of 77.8%of questions yielded reproducible responses.CONCLUSION Though GPT-4 shows promise as a supplementary tool for SIBO-related patient education, the model requires further refinement and validation in subsequent iterations prior to its integration into patient care. 展开更多

Variations of precipitation have great impacts on soil carbon cycle and decomposition of soil organic matter.Soil bacteria are crucial participants in regulating these ecological processes and vulnerable to altered precipitation.Studying the impacts of altered precipitation on soil bacterial community structure can provide a novel insight into the potential impacts of altered precipitation on soil carbon cycle and carbon storage of grassland. Therefore, soil bacterial community structure under a precipitation manipulation experiment was researched in a semi-arid desert grassland in Chinese Loess Plateau.Five precipitation levels,i.e.,control,reduced and increased precipitation by 40%and 20%,respectively(referred here as CK,DP40,DP20,IP40,and IP20)were set.The results showed that soil bacterial alpha diversity and rare bacteria significantly changed with altered precipitation, but the dominant bacteria and soil bacterial beta diversity did not change, which may be ascribed to the ecological strategy of soil bacteria. The linear discriminate analysis(LDA)effect size(LEfSe)method found that major response patterns of soil bacteria to altered precipitation were resource-limited and drought-tolerant populations. In addition, increasing precipitation greatly promoted inter-species competition, while decreasing precipitation highly facilitated inter-species cooperation. These changes in species interaction can promote different distribution ratios of bacterial populations under different precipitation conditions. In structural equation model(SEM)analysis, with changes in precipitation, plant growth characteristics were found to be drivers of soil bacterial community composition, while soil properties were not.In conclusion, our results indicated that in desert grassland ecosystem, the sensitive of soil rare bacteria to altered precipitation was stronger than that of dominant taxa, which may be related to the ecological strategy of bacteria, species interaction, and precipitation-induced variations of plant growth characteristics. 展开更多

Improving soil quality while achieving higher productivity is the major challenge in the agricultural industry. Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)–maize(Zea mays L.)(W–M) rotation is the dominant planting pattern in the Huang-HuaiHai Plain and is important for food security in China. However, the soil quality is deteriorating due to the W–M rotation’s long-term, intensive, and continuous cultivation. Introducing legumes into the W–M rotation system may be an effective way to improve soil quality. In this study, we aimed to verify this hypothesis by exploring efficient planting systems(wheat–peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)(W–P) rotation and wheat rotated with maize and peanut intercropping(W–M/P)) to achieve higher agricultural production in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain. Using traditional W–M rotation as the control, we evaluated crop productivity, net returns, soil microorganisms(SMs), and soil organic carbon(SOC) fractions for three consecutive years. The results indicated that wheat yields were significantly increased under W–P and W–M/P(382.5–579.0 and 179.8–513.1 kg ha-1, respectively) compared with W–M. W–P and W–M/P provided significantly higher net returns(58.2 and 70.4%, respectively) than W–M. W–M/P and W–M retained the SOC stock more efficiently than W–P, increasing by 25.46–31.03 and 14.47–27.64%, respectively, in the 0–20 cm soil layer. Compared with W–M, W–M/P improved labile carbon fractions;the sensitivity index of potentially mineralizable carbon, microbial biomass carbon(MBC), and dissolved organic carbon was 31.5, 96.5–157.2, and 17.8% in 20–40, 10–40, and 10–20 cm soil layers, respectively. The bacterial community composition and bacteria function were altered as per the soil depth and planting pattern. W–M/P and W–M exhibited similar bacterial community composition and function in 0–20 and 20–40 cm soil layers. Compared with W–P, a higher abundance of functional genes, namely, contains mobile elements and stress-tolerant, and a lower abundance of genes, namely, potentially pathogenic, were observed in the 10–20 cm soil layer of W–M and the 0–20 cm soil layer of W–M/P. SOC and MBC were the main factors affecting soil bacterial communities, positively correlated with Sphingomonadales and Gemmatimonadales and negatively correlated with Blastocatellales. Organic input was the main factor affecting SOC and SMs, which exhibited feedback effects on crop productivity. In summary, W–M/P improved productivity, net returns, and SOC pool compared with traditional W–M rotation systems, and it is recommended that plant–soil–microbial interactions be considered while designing high-yield cropping systems. 展开更多

Sexual dimorphism of plants shapes the diff erent morphology and physiology between males and females. However,it is still unclear whether it infl uences belowground ecological processes. In this study, rhizosphere soil of male and female Populus deltoides and bulk soil were collected from an 18-year plantation(male and female trees mix-planted)and grouped into three soil compartments.Soil carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)levels were determined, and soil bacterial communities were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing. The results showed the less total carbon and total organic carbon, the more nutrients(available phosphorus, nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen)available in the rhizosphere soils of female poplars than soils of males.However,α-diversity indices of the rhizosphere bacterial communities under male plants were signifi-cantly higher.Principal component analysis showed that the bacterial communities were signifi cantly diff erent between the male and female soil compartments.Further, the bacterial co-occurrence network in soil under male trees had more nodes and edges than under females.BugBase analysis showed the more functional bacteria taxa related to biofi lm formation and antioxidation under males. The results indicate that soils under male poplars had more diverse and more complex co-occurrence networks of the rhizosphere bacterial community than soils under female trees, implying that male poplars might have better environmental adaptability. The study provides insight into the diff erent soil-microbe interactions of dioecious plants.More details about the infl uencing mechanism of sexual dimorphism on rhizosphere soil bacterial communities need to be further studied. 展开更多

We investigate a novel form of non-uniform living turbulence at an extremely low Reynolds number using a bacterial suspension confined within a sessile droplet. This turbulence differs from homogeneous active turbulences in two or threedimensional geometries. The heterogeneity arises from a gradient of bacterial activity due to oxygen depletion along the droplet’s radial direction. Motile bacteria inject energy at individual scales, resulting in local anisotropic energy fluctuations that collectively give rise to isotropic turbulence. We find that the total kinetic energy and enstrophy decrease as distance from the drop contact line increases, due to the weakening of bacterial activity caused by oxygen depletion. While the balance between kinetic energy and enstrophy establishes a characteristic vortex scale depending on the contact angle of the sessile drop. The energy spectrum exhibits diverse scaling behaviors at large wavenumber, ranging from k-1/5to k-1,depending on the geometric confinement. Our findings demonstrate how spatial regulation of turbulence can be achieved by tuning the activity of driving units, offering insights into the dynamic behavior of living systems and the potential for controlling turbulence through gradient confinements. 展开更多

Shrimp sauce, one of the traditional salt-fermented food in China, has a unique flavor that is influenced by the resident microflora. The quality of salt-fermented shrimp sauce was evaluated in this work by determining the total volatile basic nitrogen(TVB-N),the amino acid nitrogen(AAN),organic acid,5’-nucleotide and free amino acids(FAA).Moreover, the dynamics of microbial diversity during processing was investigated by using high-throughput sequencing technology. The results showed that the AAN,TVB-N,organic acid,5’-nucleotide and FAA content were in range of 0.93-1.42 g/100 mL,49.91-236.27 mg/100 mL,6.65-20.68 mg/mL,3.51-6.56 mg/mL and 81.27-102.90 mg/mL.Among the microbial diversity found in the shrimp sauce,Tetragenococcus,Flavobacterium,Polaribacter,Haematospirillum and Staphylococcus were the predominant genera.Correlation analysis indicated that the bacteria Tetragenococcus and Staphylococcus were important in the formation of non-volatile compounds.Tetragenococcus positively correlated with a variety of FAAs;Staphylococcus positively correlated with 5’-nucleotides.The analysis indicated that Tetragenococcus and Staphylococcus were the core genera affecting non-volatile components. These findings indicate the dynamics of the bacterial community and non-volatile components inter-relationships during shrimp sauce fermentation and provide a theoretical basis for improving the fermentation process of shrimp sauce. 展开更多

Salicylic acid(SA)is an effective elicitor to promote plant defenses and growth. This study aimed to investigate rice(Oryza sativa L.)cv.Khao Dawk Mali 105 treated with salicylic acid(SA)-Ricemate as an enhanced plant protection mechanism against bacterial leaf blight(BLB)disease caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae(Xoo).Results indicated that the use of SA-Ricemate as a foliar spray at concentrations of more than 100 mg L^(-1)can reduce the severity of BLB disease by 71%.SA-Ricemate treatment also increased the hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))content of rice leaf tissues over untreated samples by 39–61%.Malondialdehyde(MDA)in rice leaves treated with SA-Ricemate also showed an increase of 50–65%when comparing to non-treated samples. The differential development of these defense compounds was faster and distinct when the SA-Ricemate-treated rice was infected with Xoo,indicating plant-induced resistance.Besides,SA-Ricemate elicitor at a concentration of 50–250 mg L^(-1)was correlated with a substantial increase in the accumulation of total chlorophyll content at 2.53–2.73 mg g^(-1)of fresh weight which suggests that plant growth is activated by SA-Ricemate.The catalase-and aldehyde dehydrogenase-binding sites were searched for using the CASTp server, and the findings were compared to the template.Chemsketch was used to design and optimize SA,which was then docked to the catalase and aldehyde dehydrogenase-binding domains of the enzymes using the GOLD 3.0.1 Software.SA is shown in several docked conformations with the enzymes catalase and aldehyde dehydrogenase. All three catalase amino acids(GLN7,VAL27,and GLU38)were discovered to be involved in the creation of a strong hydrogen bond with SA when SA was present. In this mechanism, the aldehyde dehydrogenase amino acids LYS5,HIS6,and ASP2 were all implicated, and these amino acids created strong hydrogen bonds with SA.In field conditions,SA-Ricemate significantly reduced disease severity by 78%and the total grain yield was significantly increased which was an increase of plant height, tiller per hill, and panicle in three field trials during Aug–Nov 2017 and 2018.Therefore,SA-Ricemate can be used as an alternative elicitor on replacing harmful pesticides to control BLB disease with a high potential of increasing rice defenses, growth, and yield components. 展开更多

Marine spatial planning(MSP)is designed to divide the sea area into different types of functional zones,to implement corresponding development activities. However, the long-term impacts of anthropogenic activities associated with MSP practice on the marine microbial biosphere are still unclear.Yalu River Estuary,a coastal region in northeast of China, has been divided into fishery&agricultural(F&A)zone, shipping&port(S&P)zone and marine protected area(MPA)zone by a local MSP guideline that has been run for decades. To examine the effects of long-term executed MSP,benthic bacterial communities from different MSP zones were obtained and compared in this study. The results revealed significant differences in the bacterial community structure and predict functions among different zones.Bacterial genera enriched in different zones were identified, including SBR1031 in MPA,Woeseia and Sva0996 in S&P,and Halioglobus in F&A.In addition, correlations between some bacterial genera and sediment pollutants were uncovered.Furthermore, bacteria related to sulphide production were more abundant in the F&A zone, which was according to the accumulation of sulphides in this area. Moreover, bacteria associated with chemoheterotrophy and fermentation were more predominant in the S&P zone, consistent with high levels of organic matter and petroleum caused by shipping. Our findings indicated benthic bacterial communities could bring to light the anthropogenic activity footprints by different activities induced by long-term MSP practice. 展开更多

Boreal forests commonly suff er from nitrogen defi ciency due to low rate of nitrogen mineralization.Biochar may promote soil organic matter decomposition and accelerate nitrogen mineralization. In this study,Illumina NovaSeq sequencing combined with functional annotation of prokaryotic taxa(FAPROTAX)analysis was used to investigate the eff ect of biochar pyrolysis temperatures, the amount of applied biochar, and the period since the biochar application(2-and 3-year)on soil bacterial communities. The results show that biochar pyrolysis temperatures(500℃ and 650℃)and the amount of applied biochar(0.5 kg m^(−2)and 1.0 kg m^(−2))did not change soil properties.Nevertheless, the interaction of biochar pyrolysis temperature and the amount had signifi cant eff ects on bacterial species richness and evenness(P<0.05).The application of biochar produced at 500℃ had a lower abundance of Actinobacteria and Verrucomicrobia, while that produced at 650℃ had a higher abundance of Conexibacter and Phenylobacterium. When biochar produced at 650℃ was applied, applying 0.5 kg m^(−2)had a higher abundance of Cyanobacteria,Conexibacter, and Phenylobacterium than that of 1.0 kg m^(−2)(P<0.05).Functionally,the abundance of the aromatic compound degradation group increased with the extension of application time and increase of pyrolysis temperature. The time since application played an important role in the formation of soil bacterial communities and their functional structure.Long-term studies are necessary to understand the consequence of biochar on bacterial communities in boreal forests. 展开更多

The bacterial flagellar motor is a nanometer-sized rotary motor that generates the torque to drive the rotation of the flagellar filament. The output torque is an important property of the motor. The motor rotation was usually monitored by attaching aμm-sized bead to a shortened flagellar filament, and the torque was extracted by calculating the torque due to the viscous drag of the medium on the bead rotation. We sought for an independent extraction of the torque from thermal fluctuation in the motor rotation using the fluctuation theorem(FT).However,we identified an overwhelming fluctuation beyond the thermal noise that precluded the use of FT.We further characterized the timescale and the amplitude of this fluctuation, finding that it was probably due to the stepping of the motor. The amplitude of torque fluctuation we characterized here provided new information on the torque-generating interaction potential curve. 展开更多

Patients with cirrhosis have an increased risk of infection and differently from other complications, that over the years are improving in their outcomes, infections in cirrhotic patients are still a major cause of hospitalization and death(up to 50%in-hospital mortality).Infections by multidrug-resistant organisms(MDRO)have become a major challenge in the management of cirrhotic patients with significant prognostic and cost-related impact.About one third of cirrhotic patients with bacterial infections is infected with MDR bacteria and their prevalence has increased in recent years.MDR infections have a worse prognosis compared to infections by non-resistant bacteria because they are associated with lower rate of infection resolution. An adequate management of cirrhotic patients with infections caused by MDR bacteria depends on the knowledge of some epidemiological aspects, such as the type of infection(spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infection and spontaneous bacteremia),bacteriological profile of antibiotic resistance at each health care unit and site of infection acquisition(community acquired, healthcare associated or nosocomial).Furthermore, regional variations in the prevalence of MDR infections determine that the choice of empirical antibiotic therapy must be adapted to the local microbiological epidemiology.Antibiotic treatment is the most effective measure to treat infections caused by MDRO.Therefore, optimizing antibiotic prescribing is critical to effectively treat these infections.Identification of risk factors for multidrug resistance is essential to define the best antibiotic treatment strategy in each case and the choice of an effective empirical antibiotic therapy and its early administration is cardinal to reduce mortality. On the other hand, the supply of new agents to treat these infections is very limited. Thus, specific protocols that include preventive measures must be implemented in order to limit the negative impact of this severe complication in cirrhotic patients. 展开更多

Bacterial leaf streak(BLS),caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzicola(Xoc),is a bacterial disease affecting rice production in Asia and Africa, whose severity is expected to increase with climate change.Identification of new quantitative-trait loci(QTL)or resistance genes for BLS resistance is essential for developing resistant rice.A genome-wide association study to identify QTL associated with BLS resistance was conducted using phenotypic and genotypic data from 429 rice accessions.Of 47 QTL identified,45 were novel and two co-localized with previously reported QTL or genes conferring BLS resistance.qBLS6.2 on chromosome 6 explained the greatest phenotypic variation.Combined analysis of differential expression and annotations of predicted genes near qBLS6.2 based on haplotype and disease phenotype identified OsBLS6.2(LOC_Os06g02960)as a candidate gene for qBLS6.2.OsBLS6.2 knockout plants showed higher resistance to Xoc than wild-type plants. Many other candidate genes for resistance to Xoc were identified. 展开更多

Background:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is an independent risk factor for severe acute pancreatitis(AP).The underlying mechanism remains unclear. We sought to determine how bacterial translocation and cholesterol metabolism in the liver and pancreas affect the severity of AP in NAFLD mice.Methods:C57BL/6N mice were fed on a high-fat diet(HFD)to generate the NAFLD model, and mice in the control group were provided with a normal diet(ND).After being anesthetized with ketamine/xylazine,mice got a retrograde infusion of taurocholic acid sodium into the pancreatic duct to induce AP,and sham operation(SO)was used as control.Serum amylase and Schmidt’s pathological score system were used to evaluate AP severity.Bacterial loads, total cholesterol level, and cholesterol metabolic-associated molecules[low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR)and ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1)]were analyzed in the liver and pancreas. Results:Compared with the ND-AP group, mice in the HFD-AP group had severer pancreatitis, manifested with higher serum amylase levels and higher AP pathologic scores, especially the inflammation and hemorrhage scores.Compared with the HFD-SO group and ND-AP group, bacterial loads in the liver and pancreas were significantly higher in the HFD-AP group.Mice in the HFD-AP group showed a decreased LDLR expression and an increased ABCA1 expression in the pancreas, although there was no significant difference in pancreas total cholesterol between the HFD-AP group and the ND-AP group. Conclusions:NAFLD aggravates AP via increasing bacterial translocation in the liver and pancreas and affecting pancreas cholesterol metabolism in mice. 展开更多

Establishing a system for measuring plant health and bacterial infection is critical in agriculture.Previously, the farmers themselves, who observed them with their eyes and relied on their experience in analysis, which could have been incorrect.Plant inspection can determine which plants reflect the quantity of green light and near-infrared using infrared light, both visible and eye using a drone. The goal of this study was to create algorithms for assessing bacterial infections in rice using images from unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)with an ensemble classification technique.Convolution neural networks in unmanned aerial vehi-cles image were used.To convey this interest, the rice’s health and bacterial infec-tion inside the photo were detected. The project entailed using pictures to identify bacterial illnesses in rice. The shape and distinct characteristics of each infection were observed.Rice symptoms were defined using machine learning and image processing techniques. Two steps of a convolution neural network based on an image from a UAV were used in this study to determine whether this area will be affected by bacteria. The proposed algorithms can be utilized to classify the types of rice deceases with an accuracy rate of 89.84 percent. 展开更多
