Ammonia detection possesses great potential in atmosphere environmental protection,agriculture,industry,and rapid medical diagnosis.However,it still remains a great challenge to balance the sensitivity,selectivity,wor...Ammonia detection possesses great potential in atmosphere environmental protection,agriculture,industry,and rapid medical diagnosis.However,it still remains a great challenge to balance the sensitivity,selectivity,working temperature,and response/recovery speed.In this work,Berlin green(BG)framework is demonstrated as a highly promising sensing material for ammonia detection by both density functional theory simulation and experimental gas sensing investigation.Vacancy in BG framework offers abundant active sites for ammonia absorption,and the absorbed ammonia transfers sufficient electron to BG,arousing remarkable enhancement of resistance.Pristine BG framework shows remarkable response to ammonia at 50–110°C with the highest response at 80°C,which is jointly influenced by ammonia’s absorption onto BG surface and insertion into BG lattice.The sensing performance of BG can hardly be achieved at room temperature due to its high resistance.Introduction of conductive Ti3CN MXene overcomes the high resistance of pure BG framework,and the simply prepared BG/Ti3CN mixture shows high selectivity to ammonia at room temperature with satisfying response/recovery speed.展开更多
Aqueous rechargeable metal-ion batteries(ARMBs)hold intrinsic advantages of high safety,low cost and environmental benignity for large scale energy storage technologies.However,the research on aqueous Kion batteries(A...Aqueous rechargeable metal-ion batteries(ARMBs)hold intrinsic advantages of high safety,low cost and environmental benignity for large scale energy storage technologies.However,the research on aqueous Kion batteries(AKIBs)was hindered by limited materials.Herein,a novel AKIB was reported by employing environment-friendly 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride-derived polyimide(PNTCDA)as anode and Berlin green(FeHCF)as cathode.Both electrodes have high rate performance and excellent capacity retention during cycling.Kinetics researches verify the superior electrochemical property of PNTCDA in saturated KNO3 solution.In-situ XRD of FeHCF demonstrates the unique shift of peak position and negligible distortion of lattice during the insertion/extraction of K+.The AKIB exhibits an attractive energy density of 46.9 Wh/kg and a high capacity retention of 74%in 300 cycles.More importantly,the battery can reach a super-high power of 2079.1 W/kg with an energy density of 24.2 Wh/kg,ranking relatively high among the ARIMs.This system extends the use of polyimide and points a way of AKIBs for grid-scale energy storage.展开更多

The regularities of the dynamics of the average annual temperature of Berlin from 1701 to 2021 are revealed.A total of 65 wavelets were received.The temperature has a high quantum certainty,and the change in the...The regularities of the dynamics of the average annual temperature of Berlin from 1701 to 2021 are revealed.A total of 65 wavelets were received.The temperature has a high quantum certainty,and the change in the average annual temperature of Berlin was identified by a model that contains only two components for prediction.The basis of the forecast at 320 years makes it possible to look into the future until the year 2340.The forecast confirms the conclusions made in the CMIP5 report on global warming.With an increase in the number of components in the model up to five,the forecast is possible only until 2060.Therefore,the model with only two components is workable.The trend is characterized by a modified Mandelbrot equation showing exponential growth with a high growth rate of 1.47421.The wave equation also has an amplitude in the form of the Mandelbrot law(in mathematics,the Laplace law,in biology,the Zipf-Pearl law,in econometrics,the Pareto law),when the exponential growth activity is equal to 1.For 1701,the period of oscillation was 2×60.33333≈120.7 years.By 2021,the period decreased and became equal to 87.6 years.The trend is such that by 2340 the period of oscillation will decrease to 30.2 years.Such an increase in fluctuations indicates an imbalance in climate disturbances in temperature in Berlin.For Berlin,the last three years are characterized by sharp decreases in the average annual temperature from 11.8℃ to 10.5℃,i.e.by 12.4% in 2021.Therefore,the forecast is still unstable,as a further decrease in the average annual temperature of Berlin in the near future may change the picture of the forecast.展开更多

In this study,we report that Berlin Green(FeFe-BG)framework exhibits superior performance in the catalytic coupling of carbon disulfide(CS_(2))and propylene oxide(PO)to generate a random copolymer containing thioether...In this study,we report that Berlin Green(FeFe-BG)framework exhibits superior performance in the catalytic coupling of carbon disulfide(CS_(2))and propylene oxide(PO)to generate a random copolymer containing thioether,propylene monothiocarbonate and ether units.Oxygen and sulfur atom exchange was detected in polymeric and cyclic thiocarbonate byproducts and utilized to modulate the copolymerization of CS_(2)and propylene oxide.The coupling of PO and CS_(2)was selective for copolymer formation under various reaction conditions.^(1)H and^(13)C NMR spectroscopy determined two distinct polymer linkages and two cyclic byproducts.Copolymer number average molecular weights ranged from 6.4 kg/mol to 10.5 kg/mol,with a comparatively low polydispersity of 1.3-1.7.The CS_(2)/PO molar feed ratio had a significant impact on the O/S exchange process;the ratio of cyclic thiocarbonate byproducts could be efficiently regulated by tuning the CS_(2)molar feed ratio.展开更多
