This empirical study examines ChatGPT as an educational and learning tool.It investigates the opportunities and challenges that ChatGPT provides to the students and instructors of communication,business writing,and co...This empirical study examines ChatGPT as an educational and learning tool.It investigates the opportunities and challenges that ChatGPT provides to the students and instructors of communication,business writing,and composition courses.It also strives to provide recommendations.After conducting 30 theory-based and application-based ChatGPT tests,it is found that ChatGPT has the potential of replacing search engines as it provides accurate and reliable input to students.For opportunities,the study found that ChatGPT provides a platform for students to seek answers to theory-based questions and generate ideas for application-based questions.It also provides a platform for instructors to integrate technology in classrooms and conduct workshops to discuss and evaluate generated responses.For challenges,the study found that ChatGPT,if unethically used by students,may lead to human unintelligence and unlearning.This may also present a challenge to instructors as the use of ChatGPT negatively affects their ability to differentiate between meticulous and automation-dependent students,on the one hand,and measure the achievement of learning outcomes,on the other hand.Based on the outcome of the analysis,this study recommends communication,business writing,and composition instructors to(1)refrain from making theory-based questions as take-home assessments,(2)provide communication and business writing students with detailed case-based and scenario-based assessment tasks that call for personalized answers utilizing critical,creative,and imaginative thinking incorporating lectures and textbook material,(3)enforce submitting all take-home assessments on plagiarism detection software,especially for composition courses,and(4)integrate ChatGPT generated responses in classes as examples to be discussed in workshops.Remarkably,this study found that ChatGPT skillfully paraphrases regenerated responses in a way that is not detected by similarity detection software.To maintain their effectiveness,similarity detection software providers need to upgrade their software to avoid such incidents from slipping unnoticed.展开更多

The distribution characteristics of air voids in ultrathin asphalt friction course(UAFC) samples with different gradations and compaction methods were statistically analyzed using X-ray computed tomography(CT) and ima...The distribution characteristics of air voids in ultrathin asphalt friction course(UAFC) samples with different gradations and compaction methods were statistically analyzed using X-ray computed tomography(CT) and image analysis techniques. Based on the results, compared with the AC-5 sample, the OGFC-5mixture has a higher air void ratio, a larger air void size and a greater number of air voids, with the distribution of internal air voids being more uniform and their shapes being more rounded. The two-parameter Weibull function was applied to fit the gradation of air voids. The fitting results is good, and the function parameters are sensitive to changes in both mineral gradation and compaction method. Moreover, two homogeneity indices were proposed to evaluate the compaction uniformity of UAFC samples. Compared with the Marshall method,the SGC method is more conducive to improve the compaction uniformity of UAFC samples. The compaction method significantly influences the air void distribution characteristics and compaction uniformity of AC-5sample, but has a less significant impact on OGFC-5 sample. The experimental results in the study provides a solid foundation for further explorations on the internal structure and mixture design of UAFC.展开更多

It has changed from a mainly occupational disease to a mainly food-borne disease, and it is also a zoonotic specific spinal infectious disease that WHO and governments around the world pay great attention to. Due to the low cure rate and high recurrence rate of traditional drug therapy regimen. Therefore, to carry out epidemiological investigation and Related research on clinical drug therapy of brucellosis spondylitis has practical significance for improving diagnosis rate, cure rate and reducing recurrence rate. Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of Brucellosis spondylitis and explore the choice of drugs and the best drug treatment plan, so as to provide scientific basis for improving the prevention and control of the disease and treatment effect. Methods: Clinical epidemiodogical materials were collected from 113 patients with brucellar spondylitis. All these patients were divided into 5 different groups according to 5 kinds of drugs adopted respectively, and then the patients were given different course of treatment. Results: In the 113 patients, brucellar spondylitis morbility of female patients were higher than that of male ones, and the morbility of Bashang were higher than that of Baxia. These patients were infected mainly through browsing and breeding beasts. Lumbars were the major focus of infection. It was very comnlon that two adjacent lumbars were involved in concurrently. L4 was the most common infection location and its demolishment was most serious. The curative effect of group treated with doxycycline was better than that of group treated without doxycycline. If the course of treatment Was increased, the curative effect Was not increased obviously. Conclusions: There are characteristic features in clinical epidemiology of brucell spondylitis. Doxycycline + Rifampicin + Sulfamethoxazole was used as the preferred antibiotic. Using antibiotics adequately and jointly by two courses of treatment for a long time is the most reasonable way to treat the disease and prevent the disease from recurrence.展开更多

文摘With the development of information technology,the blended online and offline teaching mode has gradually become a new trend in the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in universities.This article analyzes the current situation and existing problems of blended online and offline teaching of ideological and political courses in universities,and explores how to effectively combine online and offline teaching resources to improve the teaching effectiveness of ideological and political courses in universities.
文摘This empirical study examines ChatGPT as an educational and learning tool.It investigates the opportunities and challenges that ChatGPT provides to the students and instructors of communication,business writing,and composition courses.It also strives to provide recommendations.After conducting 30 theory-based and application-based ChatGPT tests,it is found that ChatGPT has the potential of replacing search engines as it provides accurate and reliable input to students.For opportunities,the study found that ChatGPT provides a platform for students to seek answers to theory-based questions and generate ideas for application-based questions.It also provides a platform for instructors to integrate technology in classrooms and conduct workshops to discuss and evaluate generated responses.For challenges,the study found that ChatGPT,if unethically used by students,may lead to human unintelligence and unlearning.This may also present a challenge to instructors as the use of ChatGPT negatively affects their ability to differentiate between meticulous and automation-dependent students,on the one hand,and measure the achievement of learning outcomes,on the other hand.Based on the outcome of the analysis,this study recommends communication,business writing,and composition instructors to(1)refrain from making theory-based questions as take-home assessments,(2)provide communication and business writing students with detailed case-based and scenario-based assessment tasks that call for personalized answers utilizing critical,creative,and imaginative thinking incorporating lectures and textbook material,(3)enforce submitting all take-home assessments on plagiarism detection software,especially for composition courses,and(4)integrate ChatGPT generated responses in classes as examples to be discussed in workshops.Remarkably,this study found that ChatGPT skillfully paraphrases regenerated responses in a way that is not detected by similarity detection software.To maintain their effectiveness,similarity detection software providers need to upgrade their software to avoid such incidents from slipping unnoticed.

文摘In order to enhance the abilities of practical innovation and solving complex engineering problems of students in the engineering context,we design a course cluster teaching model based on a unified enterprise-level project case.The program divides the knowledge points required by the project into the corresponding courses,and divides their realization into the practical teaching cases,so as to realize the design of teaching practice cases embodied in the unified project framework.This model allows students to practice projects based on the unified project background while learning knowledge from different courses.It not only allows students to learn abstract,fragmented,and difficult-to-understand knowledge systems thoroughly,but also integrates the knowledge into the practice of the enterprise-level project development,helping students experience the value of knowledge in complex engineering projects and thus improving their ability to solve complex engineering problems while learning theoretical knowledge.

文摘The integration of ideological and political theory courses in primary and secondary schools needs to be based on a certain theoretical foundation and follow the necessary principles of teaching practice.In the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities,there are practical problems such as“cross-duplication of teaching materials”,“unreasonable application of teaching methods”,and“evaluation of teaching integration”.This paper is based on solving the practical problems of“cross-duplication of textbook contents”,“unreasonable application of teaching methods”,and“evaluation of teaching integration”in the teaching of ideological and political theory studies in colleges and universities under the integration,and proposes to use the textbook as a carrier for the integration of teaching contents and to make the teaching of Civic and Political Studies in colleges and universities more efficient.We put forward the“three teaching and three reforms”teaching reforms,such as the integrated reform of teaching contents carried by teaching materials,the integrated reform of teaching methods oriented to students,and the integrated reform of teaching evaluation based on the concept of OBE(Outcome Based Education),with a view to solving the teaching problems in the integrated reform of ideological and political theory courses in universities.

文摘Curriculum construction is the key factor in determining the quality of education.The innovation and entrepreneurship course clusters have effectively upgraded entrepreneurship courses in terms of talent cultivation,resource integration,and educational practice.In response to the existing problems and difficulties in the construction of entrepreneurship course clusters in agricultural and forestry universities,suggestions and measures are proposed from macro-,meso-,and micro-level perspectives to reach a consensus on entrepreneurship education,construct interdisciplinary course clusters,and improve the quality and effect of education implementation.This provides a reference for agricultural and forestry universities to construct high-quality entrepreneurship course clusters.

文摘The model of“post-course competition certificate”can be the basic model of Building Information Modeling(BIM)course teaching in vocational colleges in the new era,and many vocational colleges have also made attempts to construct and apply this model in BIM courses and other professional courses.Based on the application of methods such as literature review and observation,it can be found that it is highly feasible in theory and practice to promote the innovation and reform of BIM curriculum based on this model.However,there are more influencing factors at the practical level,which can easily lead to some problems.In this paper,we will analyze the corresponding problems and put forward a more effective reform strategy of BIM course education innovation in combination with reality.

文摘The distribution characteristics of air voids in ultrathin asphalt friction course(UAFC) samples with different gradations and compaction methods were statistically analyzed using X-ray computed tomography(CT) and image analysis techniques. Based on the results, compared with the AC-5 sample, the OGFC-5mixture has a higher air void ratio, a larger air void size and a greater number of air voids, with the distribution of internal air voids being more uniform and their shapes being more rounded. The two-parameter Weibull function was applied to fit the gradation of air voids. The fitting results is good, and the function parameters are sensitive to changes in both mineral gradation and compaction method. Moreover, two homogeneity indices were proposed to evaluate the compaction uniformity of UAFC samples. Compared with the Marshall method,the SGC method is more conducive to improve the compaction uniformity of UAFC samples. The compaction method significantly influences the air void distribution characteristics and compaction uniformity of AC-5sample, but has a less significant impact on OGFC-5 sample. The experimental results in the study provides a solid foundation for further explorations on the internal structure and mixture design of UAFC.
文摘Background: Brucellosis is a zoonotic endemic disease, the main source of infection is infected cattle, sheep, pigs and their products. In recent years, the global incidence of brucellosis spondylitis has increased year by year, and it has spread from pastoral areas to semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral areas, agricultural areas and cities. It has changed from a mainly occupational disease to a mainly food-borne disease, and it is also a zoonotic specific spinal infectious disease that WHO and governments around the world pay great attention to. Due to the low cure rate and high recurrence rate of traditional drug therapy regimen. Therefore, to carry out epidemiological investigation and Related research on clinical drug therapy of brucellosis spondylitis has practical significance for improving diagnosis rate, cure rate and reducing recurrence rate. Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of Brucellosis spondylitis and explore the choice of drugs and the best drug treatment plan, so as to provide scientific basis for improving the prevention and control of the disease and treatment effect. Methods: Clinical epidemiodogical materials were collected from 113 patients with brucellar spondylitis. All these patients were divided into 5 different groups according to 5 kinds of drugs adopted respectively, and then the patients were given different course of treatment. Results: In the 113 patients, brucellar spondylitis morbility of female patients were higher than that of male ones, and the morbility of Bashang were higher than that of Baxia. These patients were infected mainly through browsing and breeding beasts. Lumbars were the major focus of infection. It was very comnlon that two adjacent lumbars were involved in concurrently. L4 was the most common infection location and its demolishment was most serious. The curative effect of group treated with doxycycline was better than that of group treated without doxycycline. If the course of treatment Was increased, the curative effect Was not increased obviously. Conclusions: There are characteristic features in clinical epidemiology of brucell spondylitis. Doxycycline + Rifampicin + Sulfamethoxazole was used as the preferred antibiotic. Using antibiotics adequately and jointly by two courses of treatment for a long time is the most reasonable way to treat the disease and prevent the disease from recurrence.
