The region coverage control problem of multiple stratospheric airships system is firstly addressed in this paper.Towards it,we propose a two-layer control framework with the artificial potential field(APF)-based region coverage control law and the adaptive tracking control law.The APF-based region coverage control law ensures the coverage task is achieved until every single stratospheric airship ends up performing station keeping where near the respective global minimum point,in which an innovative solution to the local minimum problem is put forward.The adaptive tracking control law is designed to realize motion control using tracking the desired velocity and angular velocity given by coverage control law,with the consideration of several practical control problems as unknown individual differences and external disturbances.To save resources,the combined self-/event-triggered mechanism designed therein significantly reduces the times of state information transmission and control law calculation.The effectiveness of the proposed control framework is verified through simulations. 展开更多

In presented model, active and passivecontrols as well as force and moment controls are combined into a single unit to achieve theefficient vibration control of the flexible structures by multi-approaches. Considering thecomplexity of the energy transmission in the vibrating system, the transmission channels of thepower flow transmitted into the foundation are discussed, and the general forces and thecorresponding velocities are combined into a single function, respectively. Under the controlstrategy of the minimum power flow, the transmission characteristics of the power flow areinvestigated. From the presented numerical examples, it is obvious that the analytical model iseffective, and both force and moment controls are able to depress vibration energy substantially. 展开更多

The parameters of stable space under time delay uncertainty are fixed after Rekasius transformation, and then a new cluster treatment of characteristic roots (CTCR) procedure is adopted to determine the stable space. By this strategy we find that the unstable space is not continuous and both Karitonov vertices theory and Edge theory are unable to be extended to quasi-polynomial under time delay uncertainty. 展开更多

Control Effects of Bacillus subtilis DJ-6 and Pyraclostrobin Alone and in Combination Against Fusarium oxysporum 被引量:9

[Objective] This study was conducted to screen a synergistic biological fungicide complex to control Fusarium wilt, reducing the use of chemical pesticides. [Method] The inhibitory effects of Bacil us subtilis DJ-6 and pyraclostrobin alone or in combination at five ratios against Fusarium oxysporum were detected by mea-suring mycelium growth rate in laboratory tests. The growth promotion and disease control effect of combined or single use of 20% pyraclostrobin and 2 ×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 WP at 1∶1 000, 1∶2 000 and 1∶3 000 dilutions were detected in field trials. [Result] The EC50 values of combined use of B. subtilis DJ-6 and pyra-clostrobin at ratios of 1∶1, 1∶2, 1∶3, 1∶4 and 1∶5 against F. oxysporum were 5.311 5, 4.008 6, 3.570 6, 3.350 9 and 3.218 9 μg/ml, with the synergistic ratios (SR) of 2.28, 1.77, 1.53, 1.64, 1.11, among which the synergetic effect at 1∶1 was the best. The fungicidal activity of pyraclostrobin was greater than that of B. subtilis DJ-6 in laboratory tests. Field trials revealed that al the 1∶1 000, 1∶2 000 and 1∶3 000 dilu-tions of 20% pyraclostrobin·2×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 WP in combination, 1∶1 000 dilution of 1 ×1012 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 WP and 1∶2 000 dilution of 250 g/L pyra-clostrobin EC promoted the growth of strawberry by increasing plant height, leaf petiole, leaf blade area and stem diameter. Among them, the treatments with 1∶1 000 and 1∶2 000 of 20% pyraclostrobin · 2×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 WP in combina-tion had better effects than other treatments. The control effects of al the treat-ments were measured 30 and 80 d after fungicide application. The control effects of 1∶1 000 dilution of 20% pyraclostrobin and 2×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 in combina-tion were up to 100% and 93.11%, which were higher than those in al other treat-ments. The second highest control effects were found in the treatment with 1∶ 2 000 dilution of 20% pyraclostrobin and 2×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 in combination, they were 92.49% and 86.49%, higher than those in other treatments except the 1∶1 000 dilution of 20% pyraclostrobin and 2 ×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 in combination. The control effects of 1∶3 000 dilution of 20% pyraclostrobin and 2×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 in combination were 82.61% and 72.42%, higher than those in treatment with 1∶1 000 dilution of 1×1012 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 WP, but lower than those in treat-ment with 1∶2 000 dilution of 25% pyraclostrobin EC. [Conclusion] Al the results re-vealed that the combination use of 20% pyraclostrobin and 2 ×1011 cfu/g B. subtilis DJ-6 WP at 1∶1 000 to 1∶2 000 dilution had better control effect against strawberry Fusarium wilt. 展开更多

Field studies were conducted in 2012 and 2013 to evaluate weed and insect control efficacy with glyphosate at 1 230 g ai(active ingredient) ha^(-1) and the insecticides acephate(728 g ai ha^(-1)),carbosulfan(135 g ai ha^(-1)),endosulfan(683 g ai ha^(-1)),imidacloprid(32 g ai ha^(-1)),or lambda-cyhalothrin(23 g ai ha^(-1)),as well as glyphosate tank-mixed with these insecticides.Four of the most common weeds in cotton,common purslane,false daisy,goosegrass,and lambsquarters,were manually sown in the cotton field and treated with glyphosate alone or in combination with insecticides.Glyphosate efficacy,based on visual estimates of control and weed fresh weight at 21 d after treatment(DAT),was unaffected by the addition of insecticides.Four weeds were controlled by 93-97%and 86-100%(visual rating) and reduced weed fresh biomass by98-99%and 96-100%with glyphosate alone and its combination with insecticides,respectively.Addition of glyphosate to acephate improved cotton aphid control compared with acephate alone.However,addition of glyphosate to carbosulfan,endosulfan,imidacloprid,or lambda-cyhalothrin did not affect the aphid control when compared with the insecticide alone treatments.These results indicate that cotton producers could potentially integrate weed and insect management strategies by choosing suitable insecticide mixing partners with glyphosate,thereby reducing the application costs without sacrificing the efficacy of the glyphosate or the insecticides. 展开更多

In this paper,we aim to minimize the epidemic size of tungiasis disease and economic costs simultaneously,with terminal demands for infected humans.A human-jigger parasite control system with four control schemes for humans and jiggers is established.We propose a multi-objective optimal control problem with terminal constraints,in which the accumulated number of infected humans and control costs are involved.By applying the modified normal boundary intersection algorithm and the interior point scheme,numerical simulations for different combinations of control schemes are carried out,and actual data in Madagascar are used.Effective combination schemes are indicated from the perspectives of disease eradication,cost saving and time saving.Once these effective combinations are properly performed,the disease can be controlled.When only minimizing the epidemic size,the combination of the optimal treatments and adulticiding efforts is the best choice in the rainy season;the combination of the optimal personal protections and treatments is the preferential option in the dry season.When only minimizing the economical cost,the combination of the optimal adulticide and larvicide is the better selection in the rainy season;the combination of the optimal personal protections,treatments and adulticiding efforts is the prior choose in the dry season.Thus,there is a trade-off between the two objectives for all the effective combinations,decision-makers may choose an appropriate one to control the disease. 展开更多

A series of plane-strain physical model experiments are carried out to study the spatiotemporal evolution rule of rocks fracture surrounding gob-side roadway, which is subjected to the pressure induced by the mining process. The digital photogrammetry technology and large deformation analysis method are applied to measure the deformation and fracture of surrounding rocks. The experimental results indicate that the deformation and fracture of coal pillars are the cause to the instability and failure of the surrounding rocks. The spatiotemporal evolution rule of the rock deformation and fracture surrounding gob-side roadway is obtained. The coal pillar and the roof near coal pillar should be strengthened in support design. The engineering application results also can provide a useful guide that the combined support with wire meshes, beam, anchor bolt and cable is an effective method. 展开更多

The wireless electric vehicle(EV) charging system is highly safe and flexible. To reduce the weight and cost of EVs, the wireless charging system, which simplifies the structure inside an EV and utilizes the transmitter-side control method, has become popular. This study investigates the transmitter-side control methods in a wireless EV charging system. First, a universal wireless charging system is introduced, and the function of its transfer power is derived. It is observed that the transfer power can be controlled by regulating either the phase-shift angle or the DC-link voltage. Further, the influence of the control variables is studied using numerical analysis. Additionally, the corresponding control methods, namely the phase-shift angle and the DC-link voltage control, are compared by calculation and simulation. It is found that:(1) the system efficiency is low with the phase-shift control method because of the converter switching loss;(2) the dynamic response is slow with the DC-link voltage control method because of the large inertia of the inductor and capacitor;(3) both the control methods have limitations in their adjustable power range. Therefore, a combined control method is proposed, with the advantages of high system efficiency, fast dynamic response, and wide adjustable power range. Finally, experiments are performed to verify the validity of the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed method. This study provides a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the transmitter-side control methods in the wireless charging system, considering the sensitivity of parameters, converter losses, system efficiency,and dynamic performance, with the dead-time effect taken into consideration. Moreover, the proposed control method can be used to realize the optimal combination of the phase-shift angle and the DC-link voltage with good dynamic performance, and it is useful for the optimal operation of the wireless charging system. 展开更多

Purpose–This study aims to develop an automatic lane-change mechanism on highways for self-driving articulated trucks to improve traffic safety.Design/methodology/approach–The authors proposed a novel safety lane-change path planning and tracking control method for articulated vehicles.A double-Gaussian distribution was introduced to deduce the lane-change trajectories of tractor and trailer coupling characteristics of intelligent vehicles and roads.With different steering and braking maneuvers,minimum safe distances were modeled and calculated.Considering safety and ergonomics,the authors invested multilevel self-driving modes that serve as the basis of decision-making for vehicle lane-change.Furthermore,a combined controller was designed by feedback linearization and single-point preview optimization to ensure the path tracking and robust stability.Specialized hardware in the loop simulation platform was built to verify the effectiveness of the designed method.Findings–The numerical simulation results demonstrated the path-planning model feasibility and controller-combined decision mechanism effectiveness to self-driving trucks.The proposed trajectory model could provide safety lane-change path planning,and the designed controller could ensure good tracking and robust stability for the closed-loop nonlinear system.Originality/value–This is a fundamental research of intelligent local path planning and automatic control for articulated vehicles.There are two main contributions:thefirst is a more quantifiable trajectory model for self-driving articulated vehicles,which provides the opportunity to adapt vehicle and scene changes.The second involves designing a feedback linearization controller,combined with a multi-objective decision-making mode,to improve the comprehensive performance of intelligent vehicles.This study provides a valuable reference to develop advanced driving assistant system and intelligent control systems for self-driving articulated vehicles. 展开更多

Effective thermal control systems are essential for reliable operation of spacecraft.A dual-driven intelligent combination control strategy is proposed to improve the temperate control and heat flux tracking effects.Both temperature regulation and heat flux tracking errors are employed to generate the final control action;their contributions are adaptively adjusted by a fuzzy fusing policy of control actions.To evaluate the control effects,describe a four-nodal mathematical model for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of the controlled heat pipe space cooling system(HP-SCS) consisting of an aluminum-ammonia heat pipe and a variable-emittance micro-electromechanical-system(MEMS) radiator.This dynamical model calculates the mass flow-rate and condensing pressure of the heat pipe working fluid directly from the systemic nodal temperatures,therefore,it is more suitable for control engineering applications.The closed-loop transient performances of four different control schemes have been numerically investigated.The results conclude that the proposed intelligent combination control scheme not only improves the thermal control effects but also benefits the safe operation of HP-SCS. 展开更多
