With the development of shale oil reservoirs, the permeability of multi-scale media undergoes changes due to stress sensitivity, which plays a crucial role in controlling pressure propagation and oil flow. This paper proposes a multi-scale coupled flow mathematical model of matrix nanopores, induced fractures, and hydraulic fractures. In this model, the micro-scale effects of shale oil flow in fractal nanopores, fractal induced fracture network, and stress sensitivity of multi-scale media are considered. We solved the model iteratively using Pedrosa transform, semi-analytic Segmented Bessel function, Laplace transform. The results of this model exhibit good agreement with the numerical solution and field production data, confirming the high accuracy of the model. As well, the influence of stress sensitivity on permeability, pressure and production is analyzed. It is shown that the permeability and production decrease significantly when induced fractures are weakly supported. Closed induced fractures can inhibit interporosity flow in the stimulated reservoir volume (SRV). It has been shown in sensitivity analysis that hydraulic fractures are beneficial to early production, and induced fractures in SRV are beneficial to middle production. The model can characterize multi-scale flow characteristics of shale oil, providing theoretical guidance for rapid productivity evaluation.展开更多

In this manuscript, a triaxial creep test on deep coal at various pore pressures using a test system that combines in-situ mechanical loading with real-time nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) detection was conducted.Full-scale quantitative characterization, online real-time detection, and visualization of MPFS during coal creep influenced by pore pressure and stress coupling were performed using NMR and NMR imaging(NMRI) techniques. The results revealed that seepage pores and microfractures(SPM) undergo the most significant changes during coal creep, with creep failure gradually expanding from dense primary pore fractures. Pore pressure presence promotes MPFS development primarily by inhibiting SPM compression and encouraging adsorption pores(AP) to evolve into SPM. Coal enters the accelerated creep stage earlier at lower stress levels, resulting in more pronounced creep deformation. The connection between the micro and macro values was established, demonstrating that increased porosity at different pore pressures leads to a negative exponential decay of the viscosity coefficient. The Newton dashpot in the ideal viscoplastic body and the Burgers model was improved using NMR experimental results, and a creep model that considers pore pressure and stress coupling using variable-order fractional operators was developed. The model’s reasonableness was confirmed using creep experimental data. The damagestate adjustment factors ω and β were identified through a parameter sensitivity analysis to characterize the effect of pore pressure and stress coupling on the creep damage characteristics(size and degree of difficulty) of coal.展开更多

Compared to the ethylene glycol(EG)-EG+H_(2)O process and the 1,3-propanediol(PDO)-IPA+H_(2)O process, the total annual cost(TAC) of the EG-IPA+H_(2)O process decreased by 20.76% and 7.86%(PDO). Compared to the EG-EG+H_(2)O process, the TAC of the PDO-IPA+H_(2)O process reduced 14%, but the global warming potential(GWP) and human toxicity of the PDO-IPA+H_(2)O process increased 11.3% and 4.07% respectively. Compared to the PDO-IPA+H_(2)O process, the EG-IPA+H_(2)O process saves 7.86%(TAC), 9.78%(GWP) and 9.85%(human toxicity). The ED+PV process with EG is superior to PDO in factors of TAC, energy consumption, human toxicity and environment. The EG-IPA+H_(2)O process changed the separation order of the products of the multi-azeotropic system, reduced the cost and energy conservation of the system, and enhanced the environmental protection evaluation of the process, is the best process through life cycle assessment for analyzing the economy, energy conservation, environmental assessment and human toxicity, designing cleaner products, controlling waste discharge, and promoting the chemical purification industry. This work provides a new process design and optimized separation ideas, will have a good guiding significance for the research and application separation of multi-azeotropic mixture with mixed solvents in organic wastewater from the cleaner chemical production, has been up to standard wastewater discharge process, and realized the development goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the sustainable development of chemical clean industry.展开更多

文摘The coupling between wind stress perturbations and sea surface temperature(SST)perturbations induced by tropical instability waves(TIWs)in the Pacific Ocean has been revealed previously and proven crucial to both the atmosphere and ocean. However,an overlooked fact by previous studies is that the loosely defined“TIWs”actually consist of two modes, including the Yanai wave-based TIW on the equator(hereafter eTIW)and the Rossby wave-based TIW off the equator(hereafter vTIW).Hence, the individual feedbacks of the wind stress to the bimodal TIWs remain unexplored. In this study, individual coupling relationships are established for both eTIW and v TIW,including the relationship between the TIW-induced SST perturbations and two components of wind stress perturbations, and the relationship between the TIW-induced wind stress perturbation divergence(curl)and the downwind(crosswind)TIW-induced SST gradients. Results show that, due to different distributions of eTIW and vTIW,the coupling strength induced by the eTIW is stronger on the equator, and that by the vTIW is stronger off the equator. The results of any of eTIW and vTIW are higher than those of the loosely defined TIWs.We further investigated how well the coupling relationships remained in several widely recognized oceanic general circulation models and fully coupled climate models. However, the coupling relationships cannot be well represented in most numerical models. Finally,we confirmed that higher resolution usually corresponds to more accurate simulation. Therefore, the coupling models established in this study are complementary to previous research and can be used to refine the oceanic and coupled climate models.

文摘A previously developed hybrid coupled model(HCM)is composed of an intermediate tropical Pacific Ocean model and a global atmospheric general circulation model(AGCM),denoted as HCMAGCM.In this study, different El Niño flavors, namely the Eastern-Pacific(EP)and Central-Pacific(CP)types,and the associated global atmospheric teleconnections are examined in a 1000-yr control simulation of the HCMAGCM.The HCMAGCM indicates profoundly different characteristics among EP and CP El Niño events in terms of related oceanic and atmospheric variables in the tropical Pacific, including the amplitude and spatial patterns of sea surface temperature(SST),zonal wind stress, and precipitation anomalies. An SST budget analysis indicates that the thermocline feedback and zonal advective feedback dominantly contribute to the growth of EP and CP El Niño events, respectively.Corresponding to the shifts in the tropical rainfall and deep convection during EP and CP El Niño events, the model also reproduces the differences in the extratropical atmospheric responses during the boreal winter. In particular, the EP El Niño tends to be dominant in exciting a poleward wave train pattern to the Northern Hemisphere, while the CP El Niño tends to preferably produce a wave train similar to the Pacific North American(PNA)pattern. As a result, different climatic impacts exist in North American regions, with a warm-north and cold-south pattern during an EP El Niño and a warm-northeast and cold-southwest pattern during a CP El Niño,respectively. This modeling result highlights the importance of internal natural processes within the tropical Pacific as they relate to the genesis of ENSO diversity because the active ocean–atmosphere coupling is allowed only in the tropical Pacific within the framework of the HCMAGCM.

文摘Extensive high-speed railway(HSR)network resembled the intricate vascular system of the human body, crisscrossing mainlands.Seismic events, known for their unpredictability, pose a significant threat to both trains and bridges, given the HSR’s extended operational duration. Therefore, ensuring the running safety of train-bridge coupled(TBC)system, primarily composed of simply supported beam bridges,is paramount.Traditional methods like the Monte Carlo method fall short in analyzing this intricate system efficiently.Instead, efficient algorithm like the new point estimate method combined with moment expansion approximation(NPEM-MEA)is applied to study random responses of numerical simulation TBC systems.Validation of the NPEM-MEA’s feasibility is conducted using the Monte Carlo method.Comparative analysis confirms the accuracy and efficiency of the method, with a recommended truncation order of four to six for the NPEM-MEA.Additionally,the influences of seismic magnitude and epicentral distance are discussed based on the random dynamic responses in the TBC system. This methodology not only facilitates seismic safety assessments for TBC systems but also contributes to standard-setting for these systems under earthquake conditions.

文摘A novel approach for analyzing coupled vibrations between vehicles and bridges is presented, taking into account spatiotemporal effects and mechanical phenomena resulting fromvehicle braking.Efficient modeling and solution of bridge vibrations induced by vehicle deceleration are realized using this method. The method’s validity and reliability are substantiated through numerical examples.A simply supported beam bridge with a corrugated steel web is taken as an example and the effects of parameters such as the initial vehicle speed, braking acceleration, braking location, and road surface roughness on the mid-span displacement and impact factor of the bridge are analyzed. The results show that vehicle braking significantly amplifies mid-span displacement and impact factor responses in comparison to uniform vehicular motion across the bridge.Notably, the influence of wheelto-bridge friction forces is of particular significance and cannot be overlooked. When the vehicle initiates braking near the middle of the span, both the mid-span displacement and impact factor of the bridge exhibit substantial increases, further escalating with higher braking acceleration.Under favorable road surface conditions, the midspan displacement and the impact factor during vehicle braking may exceed the design values stipulated by codes. It is important to note that road surface roughness exerts a more pronounced effect on the impact factor of the bridge in comparison to the effects of vehicle braking.

文摘Electrocatalytic reduction of CO_(2) converts intermittent renewable electricity into value-added liquid products with an enticing prospect, but its practical application is hampered due to the lack of high-performance electrocatalysts.Herein,we elaborately design and develop strongly coupled nanosheets composed of Ag nanoparticles and Sn-SnO_(2) grains, designated as Ag/Sn-SnO_(2) nanosheets(NSs),which possess optimized electronic structure, high electrical conductivity, and more accessible sites. As a result, such a catalyst exhibits unprecedented catalytic performance toward CO_(2)-to-formate conversion with near-unity faradaic efficiency(≥90%),ultrahigh partial current density(2,000 mA cm^(−2)),and superior long-term stability(200 mA cm^(−2),200 h),surpassing the reported catalysts of CO_(2) electroreduction to formate.Additionally,in situ attenuated total reflection-infrared spectra combined with theoretical calculations revealed that electron-enriched Sn sites on Ag/Sn-SnO_(2)NSs not only promote the formation of*OCHO and alleviate the energy barriers of*OCHO to*HCOOH,but also impede the desorption of H*.Notably, the Ag/Sn-SnO_(2)NSs as the cathode in a membrane electrode assembly with porous solid electrolyte layer reactor can continuously produce~0.12 M pure HCOOH solution at 100 mA cm^(−2)over 200 h.This work may inspire further development of advanced electrocatalysts and innovative device systems for promoting practical application of producing liquid fuels from CO_(2).

文摘Within the context of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)and the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor(CMEC),the Dulong-Ir-rawaddy(Ayeyarwady)River,an international river among China,India and Myanmar, plays a significant role as both a valuable hydro-power resource and an essential ecological passageway. However, the water resources and security exhibit a high degree of vulnerabil-ity to climate change impacts. This research evaluates climate impacts on the hydrology of the Dulong-Irrawaddy River Basin(DIRB)by using a physical-based hydrologic model. We crafted future climate scenarios using the three latest global climate models(GCMs)from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 6(CMIP6)under two shared socioeconomic pathways(SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5)for the near(2025-2049),mid(2050-2074),and far future(2075-2099).The regional model using MIKE SHE based on historical hydrologic processes was developed to further project future streamflow, demonstrating reliable performance in streamflow simulations with a val-idation Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency(NSE)of 0.72.Results showed that climate change projections showed increases in the annual precip-itation and potential evapotranspiration(PET),with precipitation increasing by 11.3%and 26.1%,and PET increasing by 3.2%and 4.9%,respectively,by the end of the century under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5.These changes are projected to result in increased annual streamflow at all stations, notably at the basin’s outlet(Pyay station)compared to the baseline period(with an increase of 16.1%and 37.0%at the end of the 21st century under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5,respectively).Seasonal analysis for Pyay station forecasts an in-crease in dry-season streamflow by 31.3%-48.9%and 22.5%-76.3%under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5,respectively,and an increase in wet-season streamflow by 5.8%-12.6%and 2.8%-33.3%,respectively.Moreover,the magnitude and frequency of flood events are pre-dicted to escalate, potentially impacting hydropower production and food security significantly. This research outlines the hydrological response to future climate change during the 21st century and offers a scientific basis for the water resource management strategies by decision-makers.

文摘This study proposes a comprehensive, coupled thermomechanical model that replaces local spatial derivatives in classical differential thermomechanical equations with nonlocal integral forms derived from the peridynamic differential operator(PDDO),eliminating the need for calibration procedures. The model employs a multi-rate explicit time integration scheme to handle varying time scales in multi-physics systems.Through simulations conducted on granite and ceramic materials, this model demonstrates its effectiveness. It successfully simulates thermal damage behavior in granite arising from incompatible mineral expansion and accurately calculates thermal crack propagation in ceramic slabs during quenching. To account for material heterogeneity, the model utilizes the Shuffle algorithm andWeibull distribution, yielding results that align with numerical simulations and experimental observations. This coupled thermomechanical model shows great promise for analyzing intricate thermomechanical phenomena in brittle materials.
文摘To accelerate the practicality of electromagnetic railguns,it is necessary to use a combination of threedimensional numerical simulation and experiments to study the mechanism of bore damage. In this paper,a three-dimensional numerical model of the augmented railgun with four parallel unconventional rails is introduced to simulate the internal ballistic process and realize the multi-physics field coupling calculation of the rail gun,and a test experiment of a medium-caliber electromagnetic launcher powered by pulse formation network(PFN)is carried out.Various test methods such as spectrometer, fiber grating and high-speed camera are used to test several parameters such as muzzle initial velocity, transient magnetic field strength and stress-strain of rail.Combining the simulation results and experimental data, the damage condition of the contact surface is analyzed.

文摘Understanding the variations in microscopic pore-fracture structures(MPFS) during coal creep under pore pressure and stress coupling is crucial for coal mining and effective gas treatment. The damagestate adjustment factors ω and β were identified through a parameter sensitivity analysis to characterize the effect of pore pressure and stress coupling on the creep damage characteristics(size and degree of difficulty) of coal.

文摘In this paper,a dynamic modeling method of motor driven electromechanical system is presented, and the uncertainty quantification of mechanism motion is investigated based on this method. The main contribution is to propose a novel mechanism-motor coupling dynamic modeling method,in which the relationship between mechanism motion and motor rotation is established according to the geometric coordination of the system. The advantages of this include establishing intuitive coupling between the mechanism and motor, facilitating the discussion for the influence of both mechanical and electrical parameters on the mechanism, and enabling dynamic simulation with controller to take the randomness of the electric load into account.Dynamic simulation considering feedback control of ammunition delivery system is carried out,and the feasibility of the model is verified experimentally.Based on probability density evolution theory,we comprehensively discuss the effects of system parameters on mechanism motion from the perspective of uncertainty quantization. Our work can not only provide guidance for engineering design of ammunition delivery mechanism, but also provide theoretical support for modeling and uncertainty quantification research of mechatronics system.
文摘Magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)induction pumps are contactless pumps able to withstand harsh environments. The rate of fluid flow through the pump directly affects the efficiency and stability of the device. To explore the influence of induction pump settings on the related delivery speed,in this study,a numerical model for coupled electromagnetic and flow field effects is introduced and used to simulate liquid metal lithium flow in the induction pump. The effects of current intensity, frequency, coil turns and coil winding size on the velocity of the working fluid are analyzed. It is shown that the first three parameters have a significant impact, while changes in the coil turns have a negligible influence. The maximum increase in working fluid velocity within the pump for the parameter combination investigated in this paper is approximately 618%.As the frequency is increased from 20 to 60 Hz,the maximum increase in the mean flow rate of the working fluid is approximately 241%.These research findings are intended to support the design and optimization of these devices.

文摘The anisotropic mechanical behavior of rocks under high-stress and high-temperature coupled conditions is crucial for analyzing the stability of surrounding rocks in deep underground engineering. This paper is devoted to studying the anisotropic strength, deformation and failure behavior of gneiss granite from the deep boreholes of a railway tunnel that suffers from high tectonic stress and ground temperature in the eastern tectonic knot in the Tibet Plateau.High-temperature true triaxial compression tests are performed on the samples using a self-developed testing device with five different loading directions and three temperature values that are representative of the geological conditions of the deep underground tunnels in the region.Effect of temperature and loading direction on the strength, elastic modulus,Poisson’s ratio, and failure mode are analyzed. The method for quantitative identification of anisotropic failure is also proposed. The anisotropic mechanical behaviors of the gneiss granite are very sensitive to the changes in loading direction and temperature under true triaxial compression, and the high temperature seems to weaken the inherent anisotropy and stress-induced deformation anisotropy. The strength and deformation show obvious thermal degradation at 200℃due to the weakening of friction between failure surfaces and the transition of the failure pattern in rock grains. In the range of 25℃ 200℃,the failure is mainly governed by the loading direction due to the inherent anisotropy. This study is helpful to the in-depth understanding of the thermal-mechanical behavior of anisotropic rocks in deep underground projects.

文摘This wok proposed the extraction distillation coupled pervaporation(ED+PV) technology process using two different solvents to separate isopropanol(IPA) and diisopropyl ether(DIPE) from DIPE/IPA/H_(2)O ternary heterogeneous azeotropes in industrial wastewater from the synthesis of isopropanol in this study.Based on strict design specifications, simulation and sequential iteration methods are used for process design and optimization. This work provides a new process design and optimized separation ideas, will have a good guiding significance for the research and application separation of multi-azeotropic mixture with mixed solvents in organic wastewater from the cleaner chemical production, has been up to standard wastewater discharge process, and realized the development goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the sustainable development of chemical clean industry.

文摘As an important part of buoy-type ocean monitoring systems, the inductively coupled mooring chain solves the problem of data cotransmission through the multinode sensors that it carries, which is significant for the rapid acquisition of fish, hydrology, and other information. This paper is based on a seawater channel transmission model with a depth of 300 m and a bandwidth of 2 MHz.An orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)technology is used to overcome the multipath effect of signal transmission on a seawater medium. The adaptive technology is integrated into the OFDM,and an improved joint subcarrier and bit power allocation algorithm is proposed. This algorithm solves the problem of dynamic subcarrier allocation during the cotransmission of underwater multinode user data in seawater channels. The results show that the algorithm complexity can be reduced by 0.18126×10^(-2)s during one complete OFDM system data transmission by the improved greedy algorithm, and a total of 216 bits are transmitted by the OFDM.The normalized channel capacity can be improved by 0.012 bit s^(-1)Hz^(-1).At the bit error ratio(BER)of 10^(-3),the BER performance can be improved by approximately 6 d B.When the numbers of users are 4 and 8,the improved algorithm increases the channel capacity, and the higher the number of users, the more evident the channel capacity improvement effect is.The results of this paper have an important reference value for enhancing the transmission performance of inductively coupled mooring chain underwater multinode data.

文摘We study the time evolution of electron wavepacket in the coupled two-dimensional(2D)lattices with mirror symmetry, utilizing the tight-binding Hamiltonian framework. We show analytically that the wavepacket of an electron initially located on one atomic layer in the coupled 2D square lattices exhibits a periodic oscillation in both the transverse and longitudinal directions. The frequency of this oscillation is determined by the strength of the interlayer hopping.Additionally,we provide numerical evidence that a damped periodic oscillation occurs in the coupled 2D disordered lattices with degree of disorderW,with the decay time being inversely proportional to the square ofW and the frequency change being proportional to the square of W,which is similar to the case in the coupled 1D disordered lattices. Our numerical results further confirm that the periodic and damped periodic electron oscillations are universal, independent of lattice geometry,as demonstrated in AA-stacked bilayer and tri-layer graphene systems.Unlike the Bloch oscillation driven by electric fields, the periodic oscillation induced by interlayer coupling does not require the application of an electric field, has an ultrafast periodicity much shorter than the electron decoherence time in real materials, and can be tuned by adjusting the interlayer coupling. Our findings pave the way for future observation of periodic electron oscillation in material systems at the atomic scale.

文摘In order to prevent and mitigate disasters,it is crucial to immediately and properly assess the spatial distribution of landslide hazards in the earthquake-affected area.Currently, there are primarily two categories of assessment techniques:the physical mechanism-based method(PMBM),which considers the landslide dynamics and has the advantages of effectiveness and proactivity;the environmental factor-based method(EFBM),which integrates the environmental conditions and has high accuracy. In order to obtain the spatial distribution of landslide hazards in the affected area with near realtime and high accuracy, this study proposed to combine the PMBM based on Newmark method with EFBM to form Newmark-Information value model(N-IV),Newmark-Logic regression model(N-LR)and Newmark-Support Vector Machine model(N-SVM)for seismic landslide hazard assessment on the Ludian Mw 6.2 earthquake in Yunnan. The predicted spatial hazard distribution was compared with the actual cataloged landslide inventory, and frequency ratio(FR),and area under the curve(AUC)metrics were used to verify the model's plausibility, performance, and accuracy.According to the findings, the model's accuracy is ranked as follows:N-SVM>N-LR>N-IV>Newmark.With an AUC value of 0.937,the linked N-SVM was discovered to have the best performance. The research results indicate that the physics-environmental coupled model(PECM)exhibits accuracy gains of 46.406%(N-SVM),30.625%(N-LR),and 22.816%(N-IV)when compared to the conventional Newmark technique. It shows varied degrees of improvement from 2.577%to 12.446%when compared to the single EFBM.The study also uses the Ms 6.8 Luding earthquake to evaluate the model, showcasing its trustworthy in forecasting power and steady generalization.Since the suggested PECM in this study can adapt to complicated earthquake-induced landslides situations,it aims to serve as a reference for future research in a similar field,as well as to help with emergency planning and response in earthquakeprone regions with landslides.
