A possible mechanism for the growth of those nanostructures is proposed based on the experimental results. It is discovered that the existence of HCl could affect the surface of Cu Cl nanocubes. This unique cube-like nanostructure with rough surface significantly enhances the electroactive surface areas of Cu Cl, leading to a high special capacitance of 376 m F cm-2at the current density of 1.0 m A cm-2. There is still a good reversibility with cycling efficiency of 88.8 % after 2,000 cycles, demonstrating its excellent long-term cycling stability and might be the promising candidates as the excellent electrode material.展开更多

The nanoscale grain size and mesoporous structure lead to lager specific surface area with the addition of gelatin. Furthermore, the photodegradation of as-prepared catalysts in the presence of gelatin toward the negatively charged methyl orange(MO) was investigated. The cuprous oxide displayed an excellent visible light photocatalytic activity of MO, owing to its exposed active(111) face and large specific surface area. The adsorption of positively charged methyl blue(MB) revealed that the mesoporous cuprous oxide displayed better adsorption of anionic dye MB due to the residual gelatin on the surface of the grains, compared to that in the absence of gelatin.展开更多

In compound 1, the [mpba]+ cation is a new organic template, which is obtained firstly in this work by in situ alkylation reaction of N-heterocycles 4-(pyridin-4-yl)benzoic acid with [Emim]Br(Emim = 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium). Hirshfeld surface analysis shows that weak interactions between the [mpba]+ cations and 1D inorganic [Cu_2Br_3]~– are mainly C–H···Br hydrogen bonds. In addition, a pairwise O–H···O interaction is observed between the adjacent [mpba]+cations. These different types of weak interactions make compound 1 stable up to 300 ℃. Fluorescence spectrum investigation shows 1 has a strong yellow emission at 555 nm. Theoretical calculation not only demonstrates compound 1 is a wild band semiconductor with a 3.3 e V band gap but also elucidates the fluorescence emission derives from the p-π* transition of electrons from [Cu_2Br_3]~– to [mpba]~+.展开更多

Thequality of PANOF is closely related to the property and structure of carbon fibre. In this paper, thermal mechanical analysis(TMA), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), swell-ing differential scanning calorimetry(SDSC)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)wereused to study the increase in tenacity of PANOF from the precursor treated with cuprous salt It has been discovered that the cuprous salt reacts strongly with the uncyclized CN of PANOF,resulting in an increase in the tenacity of PANOF by 30%. The results shwo that the cause of thistenacity improvement is the formation of coordinated complex. Cu^+is the central ion, and PANOFthe ligand. It is due to the coordinate bond that the network structure is formed from uncyclizedCN of PANOF. Therefore the tenacity of PANOF is remarkably increased.展开更多

By taking Staphylococcus aureus (S.a), which always causes a variety of suppurative infections and toxinoses in humans, as a model bioparticle, the negative bioeffect of nano-Cu2O on S.a cells was evaluated, and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) was determined by imitating the MIC of antibiotics. Cellularity and bactericidal effect were measured by flow cytometry (FCM), dark field light scattering imaging and SEM photography. The results showed that nano-Cu2O particles may, by absorbing on the cell surface, impair the cell wall, damage the cell membrane, and finally increase permeability of the cell membrane, thus leading to a decrease in the viability of bacteria in the nano-Cu2O solution.展开更多

文摘Cellulose nanofibers were synthesized by acetobacter xylinum(xylinum 1.1812).The cellulose nanofibers with 30-90 nm width constructed three-dimension network gel, which could be used as a wound dressing since it can provide moist environment to a wound. However, cellulose nanofibers have no antimicrobial activity to prevent wound infection. To achieve antimicrobial activity, the cellulose nanofibers can load cuprous oxide(Cu2O)particles on the surface. The cuprous oxide is a kind of safe antibacterial material. The copper ions can be reduced into cuprous oxides by reducing agents such as glucose,N2H4 and sodium hypophosphite. The cellulose nanofibers network gel was soaked in CuSO4 solution and filled with copper ions. The cuprous oxide nanoparticles were in situ synthesized by glucose and embedded in cellulose nanofibers network. The morphologies and structure of the composite gel were analyzed by FESEM,FTIR,WAXRD and inductively coupled plasma(ICP).The sizes of Cu2O embedded in cellulose nanofibers network are 200-500 nm wide. The peak at 605 cm−1 attributed to Cu(I)-O vibration of Cu2O shits to 611 cm−1 in the Cu2O/cellulose composite. The Cu2O/cellulose nanofibers composite reveals the obvious characteristic XRD pattern of Cu2O and the results of ICP show that the content of Cu2O in the composite is 13.1%.The antibacterial tests prove that the Cu2O/cellulose nanofibers composite has the high antibacterial activities which is higher against S.aureus than against E.coli.

文摘In this paper, for the first time, we report the synthesis of nanoscale cuprous chloride(Cu Cl) cubic structure by a facile hydrothermal route. There is still a good reversibility with cycling efficiency of 88.8 % after 2,000 cycles, demonstrating its excellent long-term cycling stability and might be the promising candidates as the excellent electrode material.

文摘The visible-light-active mesoporous cuprous oxide nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via a facile precipitation process with the presence of gelatin, which was demonstrated to play an important role in the formation of mesoporous structure and the grain size control. The adsorption of positively charged methyl blue(MB) revealed that the mesoporous cuprous oxide displayed better adsorption of anionic dye MB due to the residual gelatin on the surface of the grains, compared to that in the absence of gelatin.

文摘With transition metal complex, a discrete cuprous iodide compound, namely, [Ni(phen)3]2Cu6I10(1, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) has been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed that compound 1 crystallizes in triclinic space group P1(No. 2) with a = 11.2694(2), b = 12.3699(3), c = 15.0387(3) ?, α = 102.840(2), β = 105.215(2), γ = 96.388(2)°, V = 1940.04(7) ^3, Z = 1, Dc = 2.438 g·cm^-3, F(000) = 1324, R = 0.0256 and w R = 0.0555(I 〉 2σ(I)). Compound 1 features a discrete anionic moiety of [Cu6I10]^4- charge-balanced by two metal complexes of [Ni(phen)3]2+. The optical absorption edge of compound 1 was estimated to be 2.24 eV. Interestingly, nearly 95% of contaminant(crystal violet aqueous solution(CV), 50 m L, 1.0 × 10^-5 M) could be decolorized after exposure to visible light within 30 min, illustrating an impressive photocatalytic activity of compound 1. The thermal stability of 1 has also been studied.

文摘A new compound [mpba][Cu_2Br_3](1, mpba = 4-(N-methylpyridin-4-yl)benzoic acid) has been ionothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, infrared spectrum, elemental analyses, fluorescence spectrum, and thermogravimetric analysis. Theoretical calculation not only demonstrates compound 1 is a wild band semiconductor with a 3.3 e V band gap but also elucidates the fluorescence emission derives from the p-π* transition of electrons from [Cu_2Br_3]~– to [mpba]~+.

文摘The waste water system generated in the process of production of cuprous chloride was studied. The existing forms of copper in the system and the influence of temperature and pH on the existing forms of copper ion were analyzed and determined through calculating the coefficients of copper complex distribution. In the waste water system, the main forms of copper are CuSO4, Cu2 +,CuCl + ,CuCl, 2-and2- 3 CuCl.Temperature has little influence on the distribution coefficient of Cu(Ⅱ),but has significant influence on distribution coefficient of Cu(Ⅰ).With the increase of temperature, the distribution coefficient ofCuCl, 2-increases significantly while the distribution coefficient of2- 3 CuCl decreases. The pH has nearly no influence on the distribution coefficients of various Cu(Ⅰ)-compounds,but has sizable influence on the distribution coefficients of Cu(Ⅱ)-compounds.With the increase of pH,the distribution coefficient of CuSO4(aq)increases while the distribution coefficients of Cu 2+ and CuCl + decrease.According to these results, the anion resin of 201×7 OH-and the cation resin of 732 Na were chosen to dispose the waste water solution of cuprous chloride.Finally,97.9%copper in the waste water is recovered.

文摘Cuprous oxides with different morphologies were formed on F-doped tin oxide (FTO) covered glass substrates by potentiostatic deposition of cupric acetate. The effects of CTAB and Cl- on the crystal morphologies of cuprous oxide were studied. Different crystal morphologies of cuprous oxides were obtained by the change of the concentrations of CTAB and Cl. The flowerlike and cubic morphologies of Cu2O crystals were obtained when using higher concentration of CTAB and KCl, respectively. Photoelectrochemical properties of the Cu2O thin films prepared in the system were also studied.
文摘Polyacrylonitrile preoxided fibre PANOF is an intermediate in carbon fibre preparation. Therefore the tenacity of PANOF is remarkably increased.

文摘The casual discharge of dyes from industrial settings has seriously polluted global water systems.Owing to the abundance of biomass resources, preparing photocatalysts for photocatalytic degradation of dyes is significant;however,it still remains challenging. In this work,a cuprous oxide/copper oxide composite was interpenetrated onto carbon nanosheets of cellulose-based flexible carbon aerogels(Cu_(2)O/CuO@CAx)via a simple freeze-drying-calcination method. The introduction of the carbon aerogel effectively prevents the aggregation of the cuprous oxide/copper oxide composite. In addition,Cu_(2)O/CuO@CA0.2 has a larger specific surface area, stronger charge transfer capacity, and lower recombination rate of photogenerated carriers than copper oxide.Moreover,Cu_(2)O/CuO@CA0.2 exhibited high photocatalytic activity in decomposing methylene blue, with a degradation rate reaching up to 99.09% in 60 min.The active oxidation species in the photocatalytic degradation process were systematically investigated by electron spin resonance characterization and poisoning experiments, among which singlet oxygen played a major role.In conclusion, this work provides an effective method for preparing photocatalysts using biomass resources in combination with different metal oxides. It also promotes the development of photocatalytic degradation of dyes.

文摘A Cu nanowire (NW)/cuprous oxide (Cu2O)-based semiconductor-liquid junction solar cell with a greatly enhanced efficiency and reduced cost was assembled. The Cu NWs function as a transparent electrode as well as part of the Cu NWs/ Cu2O coaxial structures, which remarkably benefit the charge separation. The best solar cell reached a conversion efficiency as high as 1.92% under a simulated AM1.5G illumination, which is 106 times higher than that of cells based on fluorine-doped tin oxide and Cu2O.

文摘Cuprous oxide micro-/nanocrystals were synthesized by using a simple liquid phase reduction process under microwave irradiation. Copper sulfate was used as the starting materials and macromolecule surfactants served as the templates. The morphologies phase and optical properties of them are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning elec- tron microscopy (SEM) and ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection absorptive spectra (UV-vis/DRS), respectively. The crystals had four different shapes, namely spheres, strips, octahedrons, and dandelions. The photocatalytic behavior of the cuprous oxide particles were investigated by monitoring the degradation of rhodamine B. In spite of the differ- ent morphologies, all of the cuprous oxide micro-/nanocrystals exhibited photocatalytic activities under visible light irradiation in the following order: dandelions, strips, spheres, and octahedral crystals. The photocatalytic degradation rates of rhodamine B are 56.37%, 55.68%, 51.83% and 46.16%, respectively. The morphology affects significantly the photocatalytic performance.

文摘In this study, cuprous oxide nanoparticles of 30–50 nm in size were prepared in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The results showed that nano-Cu2O particles may, by absorbing on the cell surface, impair the cell wall, damage the cell membrane, and finally increase permeability of the cell membrane, thus leading to a decrease in the viability of bacteria in the nano-Cu2O solution.
