For example, reconstructing an object shape in an image, including different translations, scales, and orientations, can be performedusing these parametric curves. For this, Bézier and B-spline curves can be generatedusing a point set that belongs to the outer boundary of the object. Theresulting object shape can be used in computer vision fields, such as searchingand segmentation methods and training machine learning algorithms. Theprerequisite for reconstructing the shape with parametric curves is to obtainsequentially the points in the point set. In this study, a novel algorithm hasbeen developed that sequentially obtains the pixel locations constituting theouter boundary of the object. The proposed algorithm, unlike the methods inthe literature, is implemented using a filter containing weights and an outercircle surrounding the object. In a binary format image, the starting point ofthe tracing is determined using the outer circle, and the next tracing movementand the pixel to be labeled as the boundary point is found by the filter weights. Then, control points that define the curve shape are selected by reducing thenumber of sequential points. Thus, the Bézier and B-spline curve equationsdescribing the shape are obtained using these points. In addition, differenttranslations, scales, and rotations of the object shape are easily provided bychanging the positions of the control points. It has also been shown that themissing part of the object can be completed thanks to the parametric curves.展开更多

To analyze complex thermo-hydro-mechanical-chemical (THMC) behaviors of subgrade, it is essential to determine the soil–water characteristic curve (SWCC) that represents the relationship between matric suction and moisture content. In this study, a full-automatic rapid stress-dependent SWCC pressure-plate extractor was developed. Then, the influences of overburden stress and degree of compaction on the SWCC of subgrade soil such as high liquid limit silt (MH) and low liquid limit clay (CL) were analyzed. Accordingly, a new model taking into account the influences of overburden stress and degree of compaction based on the well-known Van Genuchten (VG) SWCC fitting model was presented and validated. The results show that with the increase of the degree of compaction and overburden stress, the saturated moisture content of subgrade soil decreases, while the air-entry value increases and the transition section curve becomes flat. The influences of the degree of compaction and overburden stress on the SWCC of MH is greater than that of CL. Meanwhile, there was a satisfactory agreement between the prediction and measurement, indicating a good performance of the new model for predicting the SWCC.展开更多

Although it has been widely studied for the generation mechanism, propagation features and influencing factors, the curved channel will complicate the characteristics of tidal bore propagation, which need further investigation compared with straight channel. In this study, the flume experiments for both undular and breaking bores’ propagation in curved channel are performed to measure the freesurface elevation and flow velocity by ultrasonic sensors and ADV respectively. The propagation characteristics, including tidal bore height, cross-section surface gradient, tidal bore propagation celerity, and flow velocity are obtained for both sides of the curved channel. And three bore intensities are set for each type of tidal bores. The freesurface gradients are consistently enlarged in high-curvature section for undular and breaking bores, but have distinct behaviors in low-curvature section. The spatial distributions of tidal bore propagation celerity and flow velocity are compared between concave and convex banks. This work will provide experimental reference for engineering design of beach and seawall protection, erosion reduction and siltation promotion in estuary areas with the existence of tidal bores.展开更多

It has also been shown that themissing part of the object can be completed thanks to the parametric curves.

文摘The quantitative understanding of hydraulic fracture(HF)properties guides accurate production forecasts and reserve estimation.Type curve is a powerful technique to characterize HF and reservoir properties from flowback and long-term production data.However,two-phase flow of water and hydrocarbon after an HF stimulation together with the complex transport mechanisms in shale nanopores exacerbate the nonlinearity of the transport equation, causing errors in type-curve analysis.Accordingly,we propose a new two-phase type-curve method to estimate HF properties, such as HF volume and permeability of fracture, through the analysis of flowback data of multi-fractured shale wells. The proposed type curve is based on a semianalytical solution that couples the two-phase flow from the matrix with the flow in HF by incorporating matrix influx, slippage effect, stress dependence, and the spatial variation of fluid properties in inorganic and organic pores. For the first time, multiple fluid transport mechanisms are considered into two-phase type-curve analysis for shale reservoirs. We analyze the flowback data from a multi-fractured horizontal well in a shale gas reservoir to verify the field application of the proposed method. The results show that the fracture properties calculated by the type-curve method are in good agreement with the long-time production data.

文摘This study comprehensively characterizes the boundary values of generalized permeability jail in tight reservoirs through relative-permeability curve analysis, numerical simulation, and economic evaluation.A total number of 108 relative-permeability curves of rock samples from tight reservoirs were obtained, and the characteristics of relative-permeability curves were analyzed. The irreducible water saturation(Swi)mainly ranges from 20% to 70%,and the residual gas saturation(Sgr)ranges from 5% to 15% for 55% of the samples. The relative-permeability curves are categorized into six types(Category-Ⅰ to Ⅵ)by analyzing the following characteristics:The relative permeability of gas at Swi,the relative permeability of water at Sgr,and the relative permeability corresponding to the isotonic point. The relative permeability curves were normalized to facilitate numerical simulation and evaluate the impact of different types of curves on production performance. The results of simulation show significant difference in production performance for different types of relative-permeability curves:Category-Ⅰ corresponds to the case with best well performance, whereas Categories-Ⅴ and Ⅵ correspond to the cases with least production volume. The results of economic evaluation show a generalized permeability jail for Categories-Ⅳ,Ⅴ,and Ⅵ,and the permeability jail develops when the relative permeability of gas and water is below 0.06.This study further quantifies the range of micro-pore parameters corresponding to the generalized permeability jail for a tight sandstone reservoir.

文摘The subgrade soil is generally in saturated or unsaturated condition. Meanwhile, there was a satisfactory agreement between the prediction and measurement, indicating a good performance of the new model for predicting the SWCC.
文摘LetΓbe a Jordan curve in the complex plane and let Γ_(λ) be the constant distance boundary ofΓ.Vellis and Wu[10]introduced the notion of a(ζ,r_(0))-chordal property which guarantees that, whenλis not too large, Γ_(λ) is a Jordan curve whenζ=1/2 and Γ_(λ) is a quasicircle when 0<ζ<1/2.We introduce the(ζ,r_(0),t)-chordal property, which generalizes the(ζ,r_(0))-chordal property, and we show that under the condition thatΓis(ζ,r_(0),√t)-chordal with 0<ζ<r_(0)^(1−√t)/2,there existsε>0 such that Γ_(λ) is a t-quasicircle once Γ_(λ) is a Jordan curve when 0<λ<ε.In the last part of this paper,we provide an example:Γis a kind of Koch snowflake curve which does not have the(ζ,r_(0))-chordal property for any 0<ζ<1/2,however Γ_(λ) is a Jordan curve whenλis small enough.Meanwhile,Γhas the(ζ,r_(0),√t)-chordal property with 0<ζ<r_(0)^(1−√t)/2 for any t∈(0,1/4).As a corollary of our main theorem, Γ_(λ) is a t-quasicircle for all 0<t<1/4 whenλis small enough. This means that our(ζ,r_(0),t)-chordal property is more general and applicable to more complicated curves.

文摘Protecting the integrity and secrecy of digital data transmitted through the internet is a growing problem. In this paper,we introduce an asymmetric key algorithm for specifically processing images with larger bit values. To overcome the separate flaws of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and the Hill cipher(HC),we present an approach to picture encryption by combining these two encryption approaches. In addition,to strengthen our scheme, the group laws are defined over the rational points of a given elliptic curve(EC)over a Galois field(GF).The exclusive-or(XOR)function is used instead of matrix multiplication to encrypt and decrypt the data which also refutes the need for the inverse of the key matrix.By integrating the inverse function on the pixels of the image,we have improved system security and have a wider key space.Furthermore, through comprehensive analysis of the proposed scheme with different available analyses and standard attacks,it is confirmed that our proposed scheme provides improved speed, security, and efficiency.
文摘A dynamic triaxial instrument was used to study the effects of different concentrations of sodium chloride and stress amplitudes on the dynamic properties of an expansive soil under cyclic loading. In particular, four parameters were considered in such a parametric investigation, namely, hysteresis curve morphology characteristic non-closure degreeεp,the ratio of the short and long axisα,the slope of the long axis k and the enclosed area S.The results show that with an increase in the sodium chloride concentration, the soil particle double electric layer becomes thinner, the distance between soil particles decreases, and the whole sample becomes denser.Theεp-N,α-N and S–N relation curves all show a decreasing trend. The ratio of plastic deformation to total deformation grows with increasing the dynamic stress amplitude, and the curves show an upwards trend. The k-N relationship curve displays an increasing trend with the concentration and a general downwards trend as the dynamic stress amplitude is made higher. This also indicates that sodium chloride solutions can improve the engineering properties of expansive soil to a certain extent. With an increase in the vibration times N,the shape of the hysteretic curve becomes narrower, and the whole soil exhibits a cyclic strain hardening. With the help of an exponential function,a model is introduced to predict the relationship between the concentration and the hysteretic curve.

文摘According to the capillary theory,an equivalent capillary model of micro-resistivity imaging logging was built. On this basis, the theoretical models of porosity spectrum(Ф_(i)),permeability spectrum(K_(i))and equivalent capillary pressure curve(pe)were established to reflect the reservoir heterogeneity. To promote the application of the theoretical models, the Archie's equation was introduced to establish a general model for quantitatively characterizing bi,K,and pei.Compared with the existing models,it is shown that:(1)the existing porosity spectrum model is the same as the general equation of gi;(2)the Ki model can display the permeability spectrum as compared with Purcell's permeability model;(3)the per model is constructed on a theoretical basis and avoids the limitations of existing models that are built only based on the component of porosity spectrum,as compared with the empirical model of capillary pressure curve. The application in the Permian Maokou Formation of Well TsX in the Central Sichuan paleo-uplift shows that the Ф_(i),K_(i),and p_(ci) models can be effectively applied to the identification of reservoir types, calculation of reservoir properties and pore structure parameters, and evaluation of reservoir heterogeneity.

文摘The equipment used in various fields contains an increasing number of parts with curved surfaces of increasing size.Five-axis computer numerical control(CNC)milling is the main parts machining method, while dynamics analysis has always been a research hotspot. The cutting conditions determined by the cutter axis, tool path, and workpiece geometry are complex and changeable, which has made dynamics research a major challenge. For this reason, this paper introduces the innovative idea of applying dimension reduction and mapping to the five-axis machining of curved surfaces, and proposes an efficient dynamics analysis model. To simplify the research object, the cutter position points along the tool path were discretized into inclined plane five-axis machining. The cutter dip angle and feed deflection angle were used to define the spatial position relationship in five-axis machining. These were then taken as the new base variables to construct an abstract two-dimensional space and establish the mapping relationship between the cutter position point and space point sets to further simplify the dimensions of the research object.Based on the in-cut cutting edge solved by the space limitation method, the dynamics of the inclined plane five-axis machining unit were studied, and the results were uniformly stored in the abstract space to produce a database. Finally, the prediction of the milling force and vibration state along the tool path became a data extraction process that significantly improved efficiency. Two experiments were also conducted which proved the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed dynamics analysis model. This study has great potential for the online synchronization of intelligent machining of large surfaces.

文摘Tidal bore is a special and intensive form of flow movement induced by tidal effect in estuary areas, which has complex characteristics of profile, propagation and flow velocity. This work will provide experimental reference for engineering design of beach and seawall protection, erosion reduction and siltation promotion in estuary areas with the existence of tidal bores.
