This paper aims to examine the impact of digital transformations on the business performance of the meetings,expositions,events,and conventions(MEEC)industry in Chengdu by conducting an empirical analysis of 68 MEEC e...This paper aims to examine the impact of digital transformations on the business performance of the meetings,expositions,events,and conventions(MEEC)industry in Chengdu by conducting an empirical analysis of 68 MEEC enterprises in the city.The study employed the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method to explore the pathways and factors involved.Drawing on the theory of synergetics,nine condition variables were carefully selected from four dimensions:digital technologies,digital strategy,digital infrastructure,and digital innovation.The findings revealed that digital transformations were an intricate systematic process,whereby a single factor alone did not serve as a necessary condition for MEEC enterprises to achieve high business performance.The analysis identified five distinct pathways that would lead to high performance,which can be categorized into three distinct models:the“organization-human resources”dominated model,the“human resources-infrastructure”driven model,and the multi-factor coordination model.The analysis also identified two pathways that would result in low performance,categorized as the“basic condition absent”model.Notably,there was substantial heterogeneity observed in the configurational pathways in terms of the magnitude of the impact of digital transformation on business performance across MEEC enterprises of different sizes.This paper suggests that the government should assume the role of a platform,providing policy and financial support to MEEC enterprises to help guide them through the process of digital transformation and that MEEC enterprises themselves should seize the opportunities arising from digital transformation to strengthen their digital infrastructure construction,human resources development,and innovation in brand building.This study presents empirical evidence that contributes to the understanding of the transformation process of MEEC enterprises within the digital economy era,as well as valuable insights into understanding the channels and internal conditions involved in digital transformations.展开更多

In recent years, the fast-paced development of digital energy storage(DES) technology has revolutionized the traditional operation and maintenance of ESSs by transforming them into digital assets, further enabling battery energy storage services, raising up a new way to achieve a much higher utilization of such kind of largely idle ESS resources. In this paper, the disruptive DES technology will be introduced and its application under the context of mobile BSs will be studied, and then a cloud-based energy storage(CES) platform is proposed based on a large scale distributed DESs to provide a new cyber-enabled energy storage service to the local utility company. 文摘The rapid development of new-generation information technology has triggered the evolution of education and teaching towards digitalization,accelerating the digital transformation of higher education and bringing an important opportunity for the high-quality development of higher education.Firstly,we give an overview of the digital development of higher education and discuss how information technology is reshaping the teaching and learning of higher education.Secondly,we explain the consensus on the digital development of higher education,and focus on summarizing the digital achievements of higher education in China and analyzing the successful experience through the introduction of the digital development trend of higher education in the world.Finally,we point out the current problems and challenges and make a preliminary discussion.Digital empowerment has arrived,and in the era of digitization,the transformation and development of higher education will lead to systemic changes in universities.This is an inevitable stage in the process of higher education development.Digital transformation will drive higher education to be more competitive,inclusive,and accessible,enabling universities to unleash their digital vitality in various service functions and contribute to the construction of a digital China.
文摘The impact that the digital transformation(DT)has on businesses,suppliers,and other third parties has increased significantly now.Digital transformation means improving traditional manufacturing processes with the help of digital technologies.The goal of digital transformation is to increase production efficiency and reduce costs,improve the quality of goods and services produced,and quickly adapt to changes in the global market.The state of industrial production is constantly changing due to the instability of global,economic and political decisions,so the adoption and expansion of digital solutions based on Industry 4.0,the Internet of things,machine learning,and other technologies of the future is accelerating.With the help of these technologies,companies are trying to change approaches and find new ways to solve problems.In this article the author analyzed the phenomenon of a complex system of knowledge management with tools as SMAC,AI,IoT and Edge computing in intelligent organizations as a part of intelligent economy.The arguments are illustrated with the results of own research conducted by the author in 2021-2022 in selected SMEs from the Polish Wielkopolska Province and their reference to the general development trends in this area.

文摘With a long industrial chain and a powerful ability to drive other industries,the automobile manufacturing industry has a prominent strategic position in the national economy.In recent years,many countries have put on their agenda the digitalization of the automobile manufacturing industry,leading to an connected,autonomous,shared,and electric(also known as CASE)①development trend in the industry.As one of the six major automobile industry clusters in China,the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle has achieved initial results in the digital transformation of the automobile manufacturing industry.However,the region is still faced with some constraints,such as insufficient digital infrastructure,relatively slow development of new automobile products,insufficient innovation ability of the automobile industry,and complex digital transformation of small and medium-sized automobile enterprises(automobile SMEs).This paper intends to construct a framework for the mechanism of action of the digital transformation in the automobile manufacturing industry,analyze the effects of the digital transformation of the automobile manufacturing industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle,and propose feasible paths for the digital transformation of the automobile manufacturing industry in the region by drawing on domestic and international experience in this regard.The specific paths include:(a)Smoothing the“dual-core”data chain to facilitate the digital transformation of the automobile manufacturing industry;(b)Developing the new energy vehicle(NEV)industry to upgrade the quality of automobile products;(c)Achieving corner overtaking in the digital transformation of the automobile manufacturing industry with digital technology;(d)Jointly building the automobile industrial park to promote the digital transformation of the industry;(e)Addressing problems facing automobile SMEs in digital transformation via targeted policy tools.

The researchers chose the military Hospital in Medina as his study location. The study aimed to identify and address the main challenges facing the digital transformation of medical maintenance at the Military Hospital in Medina. It seeks to analyze the current state of digitalization in medical maintenance operations, identify areas requiring improvement, and propose effective strategies to overcome obstacles. The study will evaluate the impact of digital transformation on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, patient care, and overall operational performance. Traditional travel enterprises face challenges from online travel agencies, sharing economy platforms, and new customer expectations. As a result, adapting to the digital age has become a necessity for their survival. This paper discusses the development path and related countermeasures of the digital transformation of tourism enterprises. In the literature review, the concept and significance of digitalization, industrial transformation and tourism digital transformation are analyzed. In the description of the evaluation index selection, the evaluation index of the digital development level of the tourism enterprises is determined, and the evaluation method of the entropy value method and the grey relative correlation degree analysis are introduced. Through data calculation and result analysis, the digital level and contribution of China’s tourism industry is evaluated. In the restriction analysis, the paper focuses on the constraints of online tourism, sustainable development, infrastructure, development potential and information technology level. Finally, the key measures to strengthen customer demand insight, strengthen the construction of information technology infrastructure, promote the application and innovation of new technologies, and strengthen the development of social responsibility projects are put forward in the path selection and countermeasures. This study has important guidance for promoting the digital transformation and sustainable development of tourism.

文摘China is aggressively pursuing digital transformation,and data,alike labor,technology,capital,and knowledge,has become as a crucial factor of production.Digital transformation is accelerating the emergence of a data-intensive society,and the ensuing difficulties of balancing freedom and responsibility,openness and security,as well as free sharing and legal regulation are posing new challenges to national and social governance.Among these challenges,defining data ownership,the social disorder and anomie brought about by the unclear definition of data ownership,and data ownership regulatory path are new propositions that need to be urgently addressed in this data-intensive society.This paper systematically explains the theoretical meaning and practical value of data ownership through a literature review on the analysis of domestic and foreign scholars as well as research think tanks,compares the differences and inherent conflicts between the definition of data ownership by the government,enterprises,and society in China,thoroughly compares the definition standards of the European Union,the United States,and Japan,and on this basis,discusses the formation of a definition of data ownership that meets the requirements of China’s digital transformation.

文摘Battery energy storage systems(ESS) have been widely used in mobile base stations(BS) as the main backup power source. Due to the large number of base stations, massive distributed ESSs have largely stayed in idle and very difficult to achieve high asset utilization. In recent years, the fast-paced development of digital energy storage(DES) technology has revolutionized the traditional operation and maintenance of ESSs by transforming them into digital assets, further enabling battery energy storage services, raising up a new way to achieve a much higher utilization of such kind of largely idle ESS resources. In this paper, the disruptive DES technology will be introduced and its application under the context of mobile BSs will be studied, and then a cloud-based energy storage(CES) platform is proposed based on a large scale distributed DESs to provide a new cyber-enabled energy storage service to the local utility company. A real-world case study shows the effectiveness and efficiency of the CES platform.
