The primary focus of this paper is to design a progressive restoration plan for an enterprise data center environment following a partial or full disruption. Repairing and restoring disrupted components in an enterprise data center requires a significant amount of time and human effort. Following a major disruption, the recovery process involves multiple stages, and during each stage, the partially recovered infrastructures can provide limited services to users at some degraded service level. However, how fast and efficiently an enterprise infrastructure can be recovered de- pends on how the recovery mechanism restores the disrupted components, considering the inter-dependencies between services, along with the limitations of expert human operators. The entire problem turns out to be NP- hard and rather complex, and we devise an efficient meta-heuristic to solve the problem. By considering some real-world examples, we show that the proposed meta-heuristic provides very accurate results, and still runs 600-2800 times faster than the optimal solution obtained from a general purpose mathematical solver [1]. 展开更多

In the formation process of megacities,urban population is constantly gathering from other cities to large and medium-sized cities,and from the periphery of the city to the center of the city,inducing traffic congestion,overload of main center,reduction of space efficiency,and other major urban diseases.Multi-center urban spatial structure is an effective way to solve the above negative externalities.It is helpful to evaluate the efficiency of the existing industrial distribution structure in the cities and make a reasonable estimate of the future enterprise growth by clarifying the interactive relationship between the development process of a city and the change of the employment center.Based on survey data of Shenzhen "Four Up-scale Enterprises" in 2017,threshold method is used to identify the existing employment centers of Shenzhen,and describe the characteristics of each employment center.Combining calculation of industry location entropy,below conclusions are obtained:①the double main centers (Futian-Luohu center and Nanshan center) in Shenzhen are obvious,and the weak multi-center has initially formed;②the development of the industry is relatively balanced in Futian-Luohu center,and Nanshan center has absolute advantage in information technology industry;③the employment centers outside the original special economic zone are mainly manufacturing industries,showing a highly specialized trend of industries,and cultivation of service industries is insufficient. 展开更多

The second comes the realization that Product Definition can be reused by virtually all business processes downstream. This has made collaborative product development a practical reality. These technologies have enabled effective implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solutions. This paper presents a literature review about PLM solutions, looking at its definitions, through to its need and scope of applications. It also presents the most generally envisaged architecture, explaining as to how it may be looked at and what it is expected to deliver. At the end it examines the market trend and revenue growth over recent years including future trends for the most prominent vendors pitched in the field of PLM solutions. 展开更多
