The multifaceted nature of these influences makes the surveillance of mass movements a highly intricate task, requiring an understanding of numerous interdependent variables. Recent years have seen an emergence in scholarly research aimed at integrating geophysical and geotechnical methodologies. The conjoint examination of geophysical and geotechnical data offers an enhanced perspective into subsurface structures. Within this work, a methodology is proposed for the synchronous analysis of electrical resistivity geophysical data and geotechnical data, specifically those extracted from the Light Dynamic Penetrometer (DPL) and Standard Penetration Test (SPT). This study involved a linear fitting process to correlate resistivity with N10/SPT N-values from DPL/SPT soundings, culminating in a 2D profile of N10/SPT N-values predicated on electrical profiles. The findings of this research furnish invaluable insights into slope stability by allowing for a two-dimensional representation of penetration resistance properties. Through the synthesis of geophysical and geotechnical data, this project aims to augment the comprehension of subsurface conditions, with potential implications for refining landslide risk evaluations. This endeavor offers insight into the formulation of more effective and precise slope management protocols and disaster prevention strategies.展开更多

Lumbar curvature may lead to the occurrence of lumbar disc degeneration. Fear of movement may worsen their disc herniation and cause further pain and injury. LDH conditions impact the individuals’ quality of life, to explore the relationship between lumbar curve, muscle strength, fear of movement and functional disability among patients with LDH. Methods: An electronic search was conducted on PubMed, Medline, Science Direct, Springerlink, Google Scholar and a hand search from reference lists was reviewed. Publications were included in human studies, patients 25 - 85 years of age, original studies and published in English language journals from January 2002 to December 2023. Result: In total, 64 articles were researched through the online search engines, and 9 papers were found through manual searches of reference lists. As a result, a total of 11 articles were included for the purpose of this review. The comprehensive analysis revealed the presence of eight cross-sectional studies, two retrospective studies and one experimental study. A minimum of 25 participants and a maximum of 360 participants were included. Ten studies included both genders, only one studies included healthy adults and patients with LDH but these studies didn’t mention gender. Results showed that the factors influencing LDH can be categorized into non-modifiable factors, such as gender, age, height or others. Modifiable factors included increased BMI, DM, smoking, alcohol, employment status, lifestyle and health problems or psychology. Conclusion: Females with greater VASC may be at risk of LDH. The lumbar extensor muscles indicated a localized disc herniation or nerve root pathology in patients with LDH. The fear of movement may lead to psychological consequences and reduce functional disability among patients with LDH.展开更多

文摘On January 8,2022,a 6.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in Menyuan County,Qinghai Province, with the epicenter located at the intersection of the Tuolaishan Fault and the Lenglongling Fault, which are part of the Qilian—Haiyuan fault zone. This study investigated the sliding characteristics and seismic mechanism of the earthquake to understand the activity and seismic risk of the fault on the northeastern margin of the Qinghai—Tibet Plateau. This paper analyzed Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar images to obtain the coseismic deformation field of the earthquake, which was then used to invert the slip distribution of the seismogenic fault and the coseismic Coulomb stress on the surrounding faults caused by the earthquake. It was found that the earthquake was primarily characterized by sinistral strike-slip movement.Along the satellite line of sight, the south wall of the fault had a maximum deformation of 0.62 m,and the north wall had a maximum deformation of 0.48 m.The coseismic slip distribution results indicated that the maximum slip of the earthquake was 4.51 m,and the moment magnitude was MW6.7.The Coulomb stress analysis showed that the 2016 Menyuan earthquake promoted the occurrence of the 2022Menyuan earthquake.

文摘Our previous study suggested that the subcutaneous muscle displacement caused by joint movements might alter muscle activation patterns and thus affect the classification performance. To further analyze the effect of joint movements on the online performance of Electromyography(EMG)Pattern Recognition(PR),this study assessed online classification performance with and without joint movements.EMG signals were recorded from the dominant forearm of 10 able-bodied subjects under two motion scenarios:Hand and Wrist Joints Unconstrained(HAWJU)and Constrained(HAWJC).Sixth-order autoregressive coefficients and four time-domain features were extracted from EMG signals.Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA)models were trained to perform an online performance evaluation of the limb motions. The experimental results showed that the four online performance metrics:Motion Selection Time(MST),Motion Completion Time(MCT),Motion Completion Rate(MCR),and Online Classification Accuracy(ONCA)were 0.35 s,1.44 s,97.40%,and 82.61%for HAWJU and 0.37 s,1.47 s,89.70%,and 73.57%for HAWJC,respectively. The outcomes of this study indicated that subcutaneous muscle displacement due to joint movements has a positive effect on online classification performance. The absence of joint movements may be a physiological factor contributing to the poor online performance of the EMG-PR of transradial amputees. This study can provide a new perspective for improving the online performance of EMG-PR for transradial amputees.
文摘BACKGROUND Gastroparesis is a common digestive disorder characterized by delayed gastric emptying, which can lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and poor appetite.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been used for centuries to treat gastrointestinal disorders, including gastroparesis.TCM theory suggests that spleen and stomach qi deficiency syndrome is one of the main pathogenic factors in gastroparesis.Nursing care plays an important role in the treatment of gastroparesis, and TCM nursing interventions have shown promising results in improving patient outcomes. However, there is limited research on the clinical effectiveness of TCM nursing interventions for gastroparesis with spleen stomach deficiency syndrome. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical effect of TCM nursing intervention in the treatment of gastroparesis with spleen stomach deficiency syndrome and to compare it with routine nursing interventions.AIM To analyze the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention in the treatment of gastric paraplegia with spleen stomach deficiency syndrome.METHODS From January 2020 to July 2021,80 patients with gastroparesis of spleen stomach qi deficiency type diagnosed in our hospital were selected for the study. The 80 patients were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 40 cases in each group.During the treatment period, the control group received routine nursing interventions, while the experimental group received traditional Chinese medicine nursing procedures.Compare the nursing effects of the two groups and observe the changes in traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores, pain levels, and sleep quality before and after treatment.RESULTS After treatment, comparing the treatment effects of the two groups, the total effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the TCM symptom score, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).However,after treatment, the TCM syndrome scores,VAS scores, and PSQI scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).CONCLUSION In the clinical nursing intervention of patients with mild gastroparesis due to spleen and stomach qi deficiency, the traditional Chinese medicine nursing plan has good clinical application value and nursing effect, and has a good effect on improving patients’pain and sleep quality.
文摘In Brazil and various regions globally, the initiation of landslides is frequently associated with rainfall;yet the spatial arrangement of geological structures and stratification considerably influences landslide occurrences. This endeavor offers insight into the formulation of more effective and precise slope management protocols and disaster prevention strategies.

文摘Pedestrian self-organizing movement plays a significant role in evacuation studies and architectural design.Lane formation,a typical self-organizing phenomenon, helps pedestrian system to become more orderly, the majority of following behavior model and overtaking behavior model are imprecise and unrealistic compared with pedestrian movement in the real world. In this study,a pedestrian dynamic model considering detailed modelling of the following behavior and overtaking behavior is constructed, and a method of measuring the lane formation and pedestrian system order based on information entropy is proposed.Simulation and analysis demonstrate that the following and avoidance behaviors are important factors of lane formation.A high tendency of following results in good lane formation. Both non-selective following behavior and aggressive overtaking behavior cause the system order to decrease. The most orderly following strategy for a pedestrian is to overtake the former pedestrian whose speed is lower than approximately 70%of his own.The influence of the obstacle layout on pedestrian lane and egress efficiency is also studied with this model. The presence of a small obstacle does not obstruct the walking of pedestrians;in contrast,it may help to improve the egress efficiency by guiding the pedestrian flow and mitigating the reduction of pedestrian system orderliness.

文摘The paper systematically summarizes the experience of Director Song Fuyin in treating Hashimoto's thyroiditis which is a typical emotional disease that causes obvious changes in organ morphology and endocrine and body fluid metabolism. It belongs to the category of psychosomatic diseases, and is the embodiment of a series of pathogenesis processes of qi disease, blood disease, essence disease and deformation in TCM theory. The whole course of the disease is dominated by the dialectical relationship of mutual influence, mutual control, mutual root and mutual use among the deity disease,qi disease, blood disease, essence and spiritual disease. Therefore, the treatment emphasizes the dialectical relationship based on qi,blood, essence and spirit. At the beginning, the treatment focuses on regulating qi and clearing heat and eliminating phlegm;at the middle stage, the treatment focuses on replenishing essence and promoting yang and eliminating wind and calming the deity;at the late stage, the treatment focuses on replenishing qi and eliminating phlegm and promoting collages.Flexible use of calming the spirits, regulating qi,dispersing essence, eliminating phlegm, promoting blood and other methods of stage classification treatment, can be targeted, improve the cure rate of the disease. This article aims to clarify the experience of Director Song Fuyin in treating Hashimoto's thyroiditis based on syndrome differentiation of qi,blood essence and spirit.
文摘Introduction: Lumbar disc herniation (LDH) refers to the rupture of the fibrous annulus of the intervertebral discs. The fear of movement may lead to psychological consequences and reduce functional disability among patients with LDH.
