Cooperative relaying has played an important role in rapid evolution of wireless communications.The cooperative performance strongly depends on the selected relays.In this paper,we concentrate on relay selection in am...Cooperative relaying has played an important role in rapid evolution of wireless communications.The cooperative performance strongly depends on the selected relays.In this paper,we concentrate on relay selection in amplify-and-forward(AF)cooperative communication system,and an optimal multi-relay selection scheme is put forward to minimize the average symbol error rate(SER)of the system.Firstly,for the minimum average SER,on the basis of the statistic channel information,we define a parameter named equivalent channel gain which describes the channel status of two phases in the cooperative process.Then,under the constraint of equal power allocation,an optimal relay selection scheme is proposed in ascending order of equivalent channel gain(ECG).The scheme implies that the suitable number of relay nodes should be selected under the different signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)ranges to minimize the average SER.Computer simulation results show that the average SER rate of the proposed scheme is lower than these of the other schemes.展开更多
TiO2/SiO2/Fe3O4 nanoparticles have bigger specific area which can greatly increase the efficiency of photo-catalysis.The TiO2/SiO2/Fe3O4 particles in nano scale were prepared with reduction method at high temperature ...TiO2/SiO2/Fe3O4 nanoparticles have bigger specific area which can greatly increase the efficiency of photo-catalysis.The TiO2/SiO2/Fe3O4 particles in nano scale were prepared with reduction method at high temperature in this paper,and their morphology,particle size and magnetic property were characterized by transmission electron microscope(TEM),Xray diffraction(XRD) and magnetometer.The results show that the grain sizes of Fe3O4,SiO2-Fe3O4 and TiO2-SiO2-Fe3O4 particles were 50nm,70nm and 120nm,respectively.With the modification of SiO2,Fe3O4 magnetic cores are protected from oxidation.Moreover,by the addition of TiO2 function layer,TiO2-SiO2-Fe3O4 functional nanoparticles,with the saturation magnetization density of 34.1emu/g,is magnetically recoverable.The processes of this method are so simple that the nanoparticles can be produced in large quantity.展开更多

A smart decontamination device is developed for small-size radioactive scrap metal(SSRSM)arisen from nuclear facilities.The abrasion pin in rotating magnetic field and ultrasonic wave cleaner are used for solving the ...A smart decontamination device is developed for small-size radioactive scrap metal(SSRSM)arisen from nuclear facilities.The abrasion pin in rotating magnetic field and ultrasonic wave cleaner are used for solving the problems of the second decontamination and high treatment cost.At first,the decontamination efficiency of each device is improved by upgrading the design.Optimal operating conditions are determined for each device.Next,both techniques are applied sequentially.Experimental results show that the efficiency of combined decontamination device is higher than that of each device.With the use of the developed device,the various SSRSMs are decontaminated for 15 min treatment in magnetic abrasion device and15 min treatment in ultrasonic cleaning device.Decontamination index ranges from18 to 56.Absolute values of all decontaminated samples are below the background value.展开更多
Self-organizing map(SOM) proposed by Kohonen has obtained certain achievements in solving the traveling salesman problem(TSP).To improve Kohonen SOM,an effective initialization and parameter modification method is dis...Self-organizing map(SOM) proposed by Kohonen has obtained certain achievements in solving the traveling salesman problem(TSP).To improve Kohonen SOM,an effective initialization and parameter modification method is discussed to obtain a faster convergence rate and better solution.Therefore,a new improved self-organizing map(ISOM)algorithm is introduced and applied to four traveling salesman problem instances for experimental simulation,and then the result of ISOM is compared with those of four SOM algorithms:AVL,KL,KG and MSTSP.Using ISOM,the average error of four travelingsalesman problem instances is only 2.895 0%,which is greatly better than the other four algorithms:8.51%(AVL),6.147 5%(KL),6.555%(KG) and 3.420 9%(MSTSP).Finally,ISOM is applied to two practical problems:the Chinese 100 cities-TSP and102 counties-TSP in Shanxi Province,and the two optimal touring routes are provided to the tourists.展开更多

Most smartphones employ Li-ion(or Li-polymer)batteries as their power sources.Though battery consumption significantly varies along with the cell temperature,which is severely affected by ambient temperature,many stud...Most smartphones employ Li-ion(or Li-polymer)batteries as their power sources.Though battery consumption significantly varies along with the cell temperature,which is severely affected by ambient temperature,many studies simply assume that the cell temperature is equal to room temperature.Furthermore,there has not been any study that has quantitatively analysed the impact of ambient temperature on battery consumption.In this paper,it can be shown that low ambient temperature significantly affects battery consumption of a smartphone.To show the impact of the cell temperature on battery consumption,the battery consumption at low ambient temperature(-20℃)is compared with that at room temperature.As a result,high power consumption results in more severe battery consumption at low ambient temperature.Real measurements show that the battery consumption increases by up to 113.1%at low ambient temperature in comparison with the same discharge condition at room temperature.展开更多

文摘Using environmental random vibration as the excitation,traditional accelerometer method,non-contact video method and non-contact laser method were employed to determine the natural frequency of Kunyu River footbridge.All the results of these three methods are close to 2.70 Hz,which are concordant with each other and hence credible.

文摘Ethylene oxide (EO) is a sold-out intermediate material for producing various chemicals.Major chemical companies are interested in whether new EO plant can create profit.This research is undertaken to investigate the economic feasibility of EO production.Direct oxidation of ethylene using silver on alpha-A12O3 catalyst type is adapted to produce EO of 60 000 t/year.We conduct the conceptual design.Firstly,we synthesize the optimal structure and then determine optimal conditions and the size of the equipments.Feasibility study shows that profit and loss turning point turns out to be 3.2 years based on the present market price.In addition,we conducts the economic analysis to prepare the risk of raw material market price variation ranging from 70% to 130%.
文摘Aiming at the actual demand for monitoring environmental information,a wireless sensing system for temperature and relative humidity(RH)monitoring based on radio frequency(RF)technology and mobile network was designed.This paper introduces the architecture of the system.The system uses AVR micro controller unit(MCU),KYL-1020U RF module and SHT71 to complete real-time temperature and humidity monitoring,and uses SIM900A module to realize remote alarming and monitoring with short message system(SMS)through global system for mobile communication(GSM).Experimental results show that the designed system has good stability of measurement and real-time performance,and it can be used in some small temperature and humidity monitoring occasions.

文摘In the distributed environment,robots should be able to provide users with adaptive services automatically according to the situational information changing dynamically which is obtained from both users and their environments.The workflow depends on situational information obtained from physical environments and provides context-aware services automatically based on the information retrieved.And the workflow in the business processes and the distributed computing environments have supported the automation of services by connecting tasks.The workflow needs to specify ubiquitous situational information as state-transition constraints.However,the delivery and use of sensor data in the workflow is a difficult problem for the robot system.In order to bridge the gap between applications and low-level constructs and to acquire raw situational information for the execution of the context-aware workflow in the robot systems,this paper presents an approach which can achieve the sensor data transmission between a sensing server and a robot system easily.

文摘In this report the combined method of correlation radar signal(RS)processing based on the theory of atomic functions(AF)is examined.Examples of using of new Kravchenko probability weight functions(WF)designs are presented.Quality functional to estimate accuracy and efficiency of RS processing for concrete physical models is constructed.It is shown that the proposed approach significantly improves the quality of the coherent analysis of RS.

文摘Satellite signal simulator for global navigation satellite system(GNSS)can evaluate the accuracy of capturing,tracing and positioning of GNSS receiver.It has significant use-value in the military and civil fields.The system adopts the overall design scheme of digital signal processor(DSP)and field-programmable gate array(FPGA).It consists of four modules:industrial control computer simulation software,mid-frequency signal generator,digital-to-analog(D/A)module and radio frequency(RF)module.In this paper,we test the dynamic performance of simulator using the dynamic scenes testing method,and the signal generated by the designed simulator is primarily validated.

文摘Most smartphones employ Li-ion(or Li-polymer)batteries as their power sources.Though battery consumption significantly varies along with the cell temperature,which is severely affected by ambient temperature,many studies simply assume that the cell temperature is equal to room temperature.Furthermore,there has not been any study that has quantitatively analysed the impact of ambient temperature on battery consumption.In this paper,it can be shown that low ambient temperature significantly affects battery consumption of a smartphone.To show the impact of the cell temperature on battery consumption,the battery consumption at low ambient temperature(-20℃)is compared with that at room temperature.As a result,high power consumption results in more severe battery consumption at low ambient temperature.Real measurements show that the battery consumption increases by up to 113.1%at low ambient temperature in comparison with the same discharge condition at room temperature.
