Besides, we propose the differential fracturing design for the conventional productivity-area and the potential production area for fan-shaped horizontal wells. After the fracturing of the conventional production area for H1 fan-shaped well platform, the research shows that the maximum reduction of the horizontal principal stress difference in the potential productivity-area is 0.2 MPa, which cannot cause the stress reversal, but this reduction is still conducive to the lateral propagation of hydraulic fractures. According to the optimized fracturing design, in zone-Ⅰ of the potential production area, only Well 2 is fractured, with a cluster spacing of 30 m and an injection rate of 12 m^(3)/min per stage;in zone-Ⅱ, Well 2 is fractured before Well 3, with a cluster spacing of 30 m and an injection rate of 12 m^(3)/min per stage. The swept area of the pore pressure drop in the potential production area is small, showing that the reservoir is not well developed. The hydraulic fracturing in the toe area can be improved by, for example, properly densifying the fractures and adjusting the fracture distribution, in order to enhance the swept volume and increase the reservoir utilization.展开更多

In previous works, these comparators have been implemented with more number of reversible gates and computational complexity. All these comparators use propagation technique to compare the data. This will reduce the efficiency of the comparators. To overcome the problem, this paper proposes an efficient comparator using (Thapliyal Ranganathan) TR gate utilizing full subtraction and half subtraction algorithm which will improve the computation efficiency. The comparator design using half subtraction algorithm shows an improvement in terms of quantum cost. The comparator design using full subtraction algorithm shows effectiveness in reducing number of reversible gates required and garbage output.展开更多

For urban core areas in China, in which the metro was built later, there was more consideration for meeting the traffic needs of cities. However, there are few studies of collaborative planning for metro stations and their surrounding space. Thus, there is an urgent need to conduct research on collaborative planning for metro stations and their surrounding commercial space in urban core areas. Unlike conventional methods of integrated design of stations and cities, this paper, based on the theory of place spirit, took Chunxi Road Metro Station in Chengdu and its surrounding commercial space for example. It explored the pattern and characteristics of the place in the commercial space around the metro station, analyzed the strategies of cultural and commercial integration, as well as architecture, street, landscape and other aspects of the design method in the space, and explored the strategies of place-making and infiltration, providing a reference point for the development and place-making of the commercial space around metro stations in urban core areas.展开更多

One of the most effective ways to reduce the negative effect of delays on the performance of networked control system (NCS) is to reduce network traffic. In this paper, adjustable deadbands are explored as a solution to reduce network traffic in NCS. A method of fault-tolerant control of networked control system is presented, which takes into account system response as well as network traffic. The integrity design for a kind of NCS with sensor failures and actuator failures is analyzed based on robust fault-tolerant control theory and information scheduling. After detailed theoretical analysis, the paper also provides the simulation results, which further validate the proposed scheme.展开更多

文摘Electric vehicles(EVs)have garnered significant attention as a vital driver of economic growth and environmental sustainability.Nevertheless, ensuring the safety of high-energy batteries is now a top priority that cannot be overlooked during large-scale applications. This paper proposes an innovative active protection and cooling integrated battery module using smart materials,magneto-sensitive shear thickening fluid(MSTF),which is specifically designed to address safety threats posed by lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)exposed to harsh mechanical and environmental conditions. The theoretical framework introduces a novel approach for harnessing the smoothed-particle hydrodynamics(SPH)methodology that incorporates the intricate interplay of non-Newtonian fluid behavior, capturing the fluid-structure coupling inherent to the MSTF.This approach is further advanced by adopting an enhanced Herschel-Bulkley(H-B)model to encapsulate the intricate rheology of the MSTF under the influence of the magnetorheological effect(MRE)and shear thickening(ST)behavior.Numerical simulation results show that in the case of cooling, the MSTF is an effective cooling medium for rapidly reducing the temperature. In terms of mechanical abuse, the MSTF solidifies through actively applying the magnetic field during mechanical compression and impact within the battery module, resulting in 66%and 61.7%reductions in the maximum stress within the battery jellyroll, and 31.1%and 23%reductions in the reaction force, respectively. This mechanism effectively lowers the risk of short-circuit failure. The groundbreaking concepts unveiled in this paper for active protection battery modules are anticipated to be a valuable technological breakthrough in the areas of EV safety and lightweight/integrated design.

文摘Reversible logic is a new emerging technology with many promising applications in optical information processing, low power (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) CMOS design, (De Oxy RiboNucleic Acid) DNA computing, etc. In industrial automation, comparators play an important role in segregating faulty patterns from good ones. The comparator design using full subtraction algorithm shows effectiveness in reducing number of reversible gates required and garbage output.

文摘Inspired by the three-dimensional design of flow passages in turbomachinery, this study proposes the concept of integrated passage design. The capability of adjoint method for efficient optimization and the flexibility of the parameterization method based on extended free-form defor-mation have been considered to develop a feasible approach to design an integrated passage. This concept was applied to redesign a typical transonic fan,Rotor 67,and the results were analyzed by CFX.It is shown that the passage was adequately adjusted in all three dimensions and reduced the strength of shock wave and wake-induced flow.In particular, the secondary flow was appropriately reorganized and the corner separation was well controlled in the end wall region, leading to signif-icant improvements in adiabatic efficiency and diffusion.
文摘The mooring and riser system is the most critical part of an ofshore oil terminal.Traditionally, these two parts are designed separately without considering the nonlinear interaction between them. Thus, the present paper aims to develop an inte-grated design process for riser systems with a lazy-S confguration and mooring systems in the ofshore catenary anchor leg mooring(CALM)oil terminal. One of the important criteria considered in this integrated design is the ofset diagram and safe operation zone(SAFOP)related to the mooring system and the riser, respectively. These two diagrams are obtained separately by diferent analyses;therefore, codes or standards are available separately for two components. In this methodol-ogy,the diagrams of both risers and mooring lines are incorporated into a single spiral, thus identifying the safe and failure zones of risers and the mooring lines of the oil terminal. This,in turn, leads to substantial benefts in terms of overall system response, cost reduction, and safety to the ofshore oil terminal. To implement this process, three diferent riser lengths with the lazy-S confguration are considered at three diferent sea depths at the terminal installation site. For each condition, the integrated design of the mooring system and riser is executed according to the derived procedure. Then, coupled dynamic models, wherein both buoys and hoses are included, are developed using OrcaFlex. Results show that the criteria of the relevant regulations are not satisfed by reducing the length of the riser relative to the designed size.Further,as water depth increases, this type of riser confguration shows good coupled performance while interacting with the mooring system. In the cross ofset mode, the maximum margin is created between the ofset diagram and the SAFOP diagram, while the most critical dynamic response of the tanker and terminal system occurs in the near and far modes. Therefore, with this method, the best position for the riser direction with the tanker direction is 90°in the best case.

文摘The metro is the most efficient and convenient public transport system in modern cities. It explored the pattern and characteristics of the place in the commercial space around the metro station, analyzed the strategies of cultural and commercial integration, as well as architecture, street, landscape and other aspects of the design method in the space, and explored the strategies of place-making and infiltration, providing a reference point for the development and place-making of the commercial space around metro stations in urban core areas.
文摘For the past 50 years, the Sydney Opera House has been the subject of a prodigious hagiography of the personalities involved in its realization and their legendary querelles.Yet it remains paradoxically unexplored when it comes to its operative construction decisions, particularly those that relate to the erection of its renowned superstructure.Through the analysis of a newly discovered set of shop drawings prepared for the innovative formwork system of the iconic roof sails, the paper contributes to the construction history of the building whilst shedding light on the hitherto unacknowledged role of the general contractor in the design process. In doing so,it questions the validity of conventional assumptions about the technical division of labour in complex projects, where construction and project management tend to be kept separate from architectural and structural design, furthermore suggesting the need for broader design exegeses, combining project-based and production-based concerns. In reflecting on its import for contemporary practice, the study suggests that the revealing picture of the Sydney Opera House project,as it emerged from the cumbersome archive-based crossanalysis of the manual documentation produced for it,is in principle much easier and perhaps important to obtain today. This is due,on the one side,to availability and diffusion of digital project collaborative platforms;on the other side,to the merging and the blurring of professional and non-professional design contributions.

文摘Implementing a control system over a communication network induces inevitable time delays that may degrade performance and even cause instability. After detailed theoretical analysis, the paper also provides the simulation results, which further validate the proposed scheme.
