We used ＂WeChat＂, ＂E nursing＂ and other Internet technologies to perform remote extended care and to observe the foot ulcer outcomes. Results： All foot ulcers healed with a wound healing time between 38 and 73 days （average 57.08 ~ 12.69 days）. Patients did not need to travel long distances to seek medical treatment for foot ulcers, improving their satisfaction. Conclusions： The implementation of extended care for elderly patients with diabetic foot ulcers was based on the application of Internet technology. It is helpful to facilitate medical treatment, share high quality health resources and promote disease rehabilitation.展开更多

In addition, students can even access the program through the Internet. Therefore, the software is defined as Multimedia and Internet Technology (MIT) program. The MIT program consists of four sections: (i) simulation of mould mechanisms, ( ii) cooling system, (iii) material information and (iv) games for tutorials. Sec tion One covers the basic operations of different types of moulds such as two-p late mould, three-plate mould, split mould, side-core mould and mould with und ercuts. Section Two introduces different types of cooling systems such as bubble r, baffle, cooling circuits, etc. Section Three provides some useful material in formation for mould design. Section Four contains games of matching mould compon ents, mould design problem finding and multiple choice questions to test student s how much they understand mould design concept. The demand-side management （DSM） of energy systems has drawn consid...Under intense environmental pressure, the global energy sector is promoting the integration of renewable energy into interconnected energy systems. The demand-side management （DSM） of energy systems has drawn considerable industrial and academic attention in attempts to form new flexibilities to respond to variations in renewable energy inputs to the system. However, many DSM concepts are still in the experimental demonstration phase. One of the obstacles to DSM usage is that the current information infrastructure was mainly designed for centralized systems, and does not meet DSM requirements. To overcome this barrier, this paper proposes a novel information infrastructure named the lnternet of Energy Things （IoET） in order to make DSM practicable by basing it on the latest wireless communication technology： the low-power wide-area network （LPWAN）. The primary advantage of LPWAN over general packet radio service （GPRS） and area Internet of Things （loT） is its wide-area coverage, which comes with minimum power consumption and maintenance costs. Against this background, this paper briefly reviews the representative LPWAN tech- nologies of narrow-band Internet of Things （NB-IoT） and Long Range （LORa） technology, and compares them with GPRS and area IoT technology. Next, a wireless-to-cloud architecture is proposed for the IoET, based on the main technical features of LPWAN. Robo or unsolicited calls have become a persistent issue in telecommunication networks,posing significant challenges to individuals,businesses,and regulatory authorities.These calls not only trick users into disclosin...Robo or unsolicited calls have become a persistent issue in telecommunication networks,posing significant challenges to individuals,businesses,and regulatory authorities.These calls not only trick users into disclosing their private and financial information,but also affect their productivity through unwanted phone ringing.A proactive approach to identify and block such unsolicited calls is essential to protect users and service providers from potential harm.Therein,this paper proposes a solution to identify robo-callers in the telephony network utilising a set of novel features to evaluate the trustworthiness of callers in a network.The trust score of the callers is then used along with machine learning models to classify them as legitimate or robo-caller.We use a large anonymized dataset(call detailed records)from a large telecommunication provider containing more than 1 billion records collected over 10 days.We have conducted extensive evaluation demonstrating that the proposed approach achieves high accuracy and detection rate whilst minimizing the error rate.Specifically,the proposed features when used collectively achieve a true-positive rate of around 97%with a false-positive rate of less than 0.01%.展开更多

Against this background, this paper briefly reviews the representative LPWAN tech- nologies of narrow-band Internet of Things （NB-IoT） and Long Range （LORa） technology, and compares them with GPRS and area IoT technology. Next, a wireless-to-cloud architecture is proposed for the IoET, based on the main technical features of LPWAN. Finally, this paper looks forward to the potential of IoET in various DSM application scenarios.

文摘On the basis of an initial introduction to the status quo in the worldwide research on mobile Internet technologies, this paper presents the problems encountered during the research and points out some key points and research goals in this field. It infers that it is necessary to perform research on issues such as new Internet routing theories and protocols, structural characteristics of changing networks, multicast theories in mobile Internet environment and IPv6-based wireless IP network theories.
文摘In order to ensure interoperability of basic mobile applications, the Open Mobile Association (OMA), from the perspective of mobile application, developed the mobile application layer technical standards for technology engines and carried out the interoperability test. From the perspective of fixed Internet, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) developed the technology standard based on basic Web applications, laying the foundation for Web-based mobile Internet applications. There are a number of important technology engines supporting mobile Internet services, including the engine for Internet access and download, the engine for providing status of mobile users and mobile terminals, the engine for community/group administration, the engine for mobile search, and the engine for classification-based content filtering.

文摘There exist serious problems in the trustworthiness (security, reliability, controllability and manageability) of the Internet. In order to solve these problems, a new-generation network architecture model, based on the research of the basic theories of new-generation Internet system, is proposed. The solution creates a switching routing model and theory for the new-generation Internet system, and defines the access identifier, generalized switching routing identifier and their mapping principles. It also establishes a pervasive service system architecture and theory, defines the service identifier, connection identifier and their mapping principles. This paper discusses key technologies for the new-generation Internet system, such as access control and management, trusted routing and Quality of Service (QoS), multi-streaming, and network monitoring and management.
文摘The existing Internet technologies and the original Internet design concept cannot meet the requirement of development, due to the fast development of the Internet, great changes of the Internet user groups and the tremendous transformation of the Internet external environment. The Internet is at a development crossroad; and its direction of development has attracted great attention from the world. On the other hand, the telecom industry is in a rather passive position as the result of the great impact the Internet technology has posted on it. The telecom industry has failed in defining its own developing direction and technology breakthrough; therefore, it is also at a crossroad. The development of both the Internet and the telecom networks will lead to the development of Next Generation Network (NGN) technologies. Industrial attention and research should be focused on the key NGN technologies, solutions to problems in the development of these technologies, and their commercialization in a short term.
文摘There has been a recent explosion of interest from academics across a wide range of disciplines in the use of Multi-User Virtual Environments for education,driven by the success of platforms such as Internet Communication Technology learning skills in higher education.While digital virtual worlds are used in the 21st century learning,advances in the capabilities and the spread of technology have fed a recent boom in interest in massively multi-user 3D virtual worlds for entertainment,and this in turn has led to a surge of interest in their educational applications.As these platforms are used more often as environments for teaching and learning,there is increased need to integrate them with other institutional systems,Web-based Virtual Learning Environments(VLE)in particular.In this paper,we briefly review the use of virtual worlds for education,from informal learning to formal instruction,and consider what is required to turn a virtual world from a Multi-User Virtual Environment into a fully fledged 3D Virtual Learning Environment(VLE).In this we focus on the development of Moodle—a system which integrates the popular 3D virtual world of Second Life with the open-source Virtual Learning Environment.
文摘Robo or unsolicited calls have become a persistent issue in telecommunication networks,posing significant challenges to individuals,businesses,and regulatory authorities.These calls not only trick users into disclosing their private and financial information,but also affect their productivity through unwanted phone ringing.A proactive approach to identify and block such unsolicited calls is essential to protect users and service providers from potential harm.Therein,this paper proposes a solution to identify robo-callers in the telephony network utilising a set of novel features to evaluate the trustworthiness of callers in a network.The trust score of the callers is then used along with machine learning models to classify them as legitimate or robo-caller.We use a large anonymized dataset(call detailed records)from a large telecommunication provider containing more than 1 billion records collected over 10 days.We have conducted extensive evaluation demonstrating that the proposed approach achieves high accuracy and detection rate whilst minimizing the error rate.Specifically,the proposed features when used collectively achieve a true-positive rate of around 97%with a false-positive rate of less than 0.01%.
