A kind of multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem is discussed from the perspective of statistic decision-making. Firstly, on the basis of the stability theory, a new idea is proposed to solve this kind of problem. Secondly, a con- crete method corresponding to this kind of problem is proposed. The main tool of our research is the technique o~ the jackknife method. The main advantage of the new method is that it can identify and determine the reliability degree of the existed decision making information. Finally, a traffic engineering example is given to show the effectiveness of the new method. 展开更多

From August 21, 2000 to October 20, 2000,a fluid injection-induced seismicity experiment has been carried out in the KTB (German Continental Deep Drilling Program). The KTB seismic network recorded more than 2 700 events. Among them 237 events were of high signal-to-noise ratio, and were processed and accurately located. When the events were located, non KTB events were weeded out by Wadatis method. The standard deviation, mean and median were obtained by Jackknife's technique, and finally the events were accurately located by Gei-gers method so that the mean error is about 0.1 km. No earthquakes with focal depth greater than 9.3 km, which is nearly at the bottom of the hole, were detected. One of the explanation is that at such depths the stress levels may not close to the rocks frictional strength so that failure could not be induced by the relatively small perturbation in pore pressure. Or at these depths there may be no permeable, well-oriented faults. This depth may be in close proximity to the bottom of the hole to the brittle-ductile transition, even in this relatively stable interior of the in-teraplate. This phenomenon is explained by the experimental results and geothermal data from the superdeep bore-hole. 展开更多

The bootstrap method is one of the new ways of studying statistical math which this article uses but is a major tool for studying and evaluating the values of parameters in probability distribution. Our research is concerned overview of the theory of infinite distribution functions. The tool to deal with the problems raised in the paper is the mathematical methods of random analysis(theory of random process and multivariate statistics). In this article,we introduce the new function to find out the bias and standard error with jackknife method for Generalized Extreme Value distributions. 展开更多

The purpose of this contribution is to highlight four topics of regional and worldwide mineral resource prediction:(1)use of the jackknife for bias elimination in regional mineral potential assessments;(2)estimating total amounts of metal from mineral potential maps;(3)fractal/multifractal modeling of mineral deposit density data in permissive areas;and(4)worldwide and large-areas metal size-frequency distribution modeling. The techniques described in this paper remain tentative because they have not been widely researched and applied in mineral potential studies.Although most of the content of this paper has previously been published, several perspectives for further research are suggested. 展开更多
