The shaping will worsen when SAW is used to thin plate with high current at high speed. A new SAW technology, the pulsed direct current (DC) automatic SAW, will be put forward in this paper in order to overcome the above shortcomings. And a pulsed controller with micro-controller unit (MCU) as the core, nixie tube (NT) and keyboard as the man-machine conversation interface is developed. The main functions of the pulsed controller include the output of pulsed welding current and the working with twinwire. The key strategy is to increase the number of index-2 equilibrium points by introducing two unit saw-tooth functions to extend and modify the Colpitts oscillator model. By using bifurcation diagram and phase portrait, the dynamical characteristics of the multi-scroll hyperchaotic system are briefly studied. Moreover, micro-controller based circuit realization is introduced and the experimental results dem-onstrate that 7×5-scroll chaotic and hyperchaotic attractors can be obtained in the digital circuit.展开更多

A heart rate receives from heart beat signals and stores the data to a database and after a time period this method can determine an idle heart rate of the monitoring body. This idle heart rate is compared with the stored data and can determine the normal and abnormal heart rate variability. After the certain time period this system can detect the heart rate and also can send a signal to the user in time of abnormalities. Power-line networks are designed to deliver electricity. They reach most of the domiciles and other buildings nowadays, so most of the people have access to it. On the other hand the backbone for the communications ne...Power-line networks are designed to deliver electricity. They reach most of the domiciles and other buildings nowadays, so most of the people have access to it. On the other hand the backbone for the communications networks is not available in all countries especially the developing ones. A high cost and changing the design for the networks may be needed to construct this backbone. If data can be transmitted over the power-line networks, a recognized cost and time save can be achieved. In Egypt, the infrastructure is not always available for constructing a communications network backbone due to the already designed buildings before the need for these backbones. In this paper, we overcome this problem by designing a reliable Power-line Modem that operates safely on the low voltage grid. The modem is based on the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technique. It uses the mains zero crossing as an efficient way for the synchronization between the transmitter and the receiver. The Modem takes into account the problems of the Power-line including noise, attenuation and impedance dismatching.展开更多

The project is divided into layers that can define the topics related to the areas of knowledge that will be used in carrying out the project. These areas are the mechanics, electronics and computing system. The mobile robot named Fable was developed accordingly to this method. It is composed by two active wheels, each one driven by DC motor with a high torque and a transmission system containing two spur gears. It has three sonars for detection of the opponent and two infrared sensors to detect a line and an Arduino Uno board is used to control all the actions of the robot.展开更多
