The thermal gradient in the Late Mesozoic wasabout 2.9-3.0℃/100m. The Upper Triassic was in a mature stage of organic matter andhydrocarbon began to be generated and migrated during this period. The palaeotemperatures ofoil-bearing sandstones were in the range of 88-110℃; those for the generation and migrationof oil ranged from 112 to 122℃. The thickness of the denuded strata overlying the UpperTriassic was 2465-2750m. The present burial depth of oil-bearing sandstones is generally from400 to 1200m. At a depth of ca. 1900m, the temperature may reach 140℃. Below this depth, organic matter was supermature and mainly generated gas.展开更多

The results demonstrate that the molecular compositions of oil-bearing fluid inclusions are significantly different from those of the free oils (the current oils). Compared with the current oil, the oil-bearing fluid inclusions are characterized by relatively high values of parameters Pr/nC17 and Ph/nC18, low values of Pr/Ph, hopanes/steranes, C30-diahopane/C30-hopane and Ts/Tm, low content of C29Ts terpane and high maturities as indicated by C29 steranes 20S/(20R+20S). In addition, the oil-bearing fluid inclusions correlate very well with the oils in northern and central Tarim Basin, which were derived from Cambrian-Ordovician marine source rocks. The adsorbed oils appear to be an intermediate type between free oils and oil-bearing fluid inclusions. The above analytical data indicate that there are at least two展开更多

The input of the mantle-derived helium into the inclusions in the carbonate reservoir rocks was found from the Konggu 3 well, the Konggu 4 well, and the Konggu 7 well in the Kongxi buried hill belt. The 3He/4He and R/Ra in the conclusions in the Ordovician oil-bearing reservoir rocks in the Konggu 7 well average 2.54×10-6(3) (sample quantity, the same below) and 1.82(3), respectively. The percent of the mantle-derived helium in the inclusions of the reservoir rocks in the Konggu 7 well reaches up to an average of 23.0%(3). The age of the contribution of the mantle-derived helium to the inclusions in the Kongxi buried hill belt is in the Late Triassic or the Early Tertiary. The finding of the mantle-derived helium shows that the interaction of the deep crust with mantle and the activity of deep faults occurred, the terrestrial heat flow value was high, and mantle-derived inorganic gas pools might be formed in the Kongxi buried hill belt. The finding of the mantle-derived helium in the inclusions of oil-bearing reservoir rocks also provides a new way for researching the activity of mantle-derived matter and its associated geological problems.展开更多

Analytical results indicate that the free oils, inclusion oils (oil-bearing fluid inclusions) and clay-adsorbed oils vary significantly. The geochemical characteristics of inclusion and clay-adsorbed oils correlate well with the lacustrine mudstones. The characteristics are as follows: (i) with higher Ph/nC18 ratio and lower Pr/Ph ratio; (ii) with higher values of C26 tricyclic/C24 tetracyclic terpane, C23 tricyclic ter-pane/(C23 tricyclic terpane+C3017α(H) hopane), C21/(C21+C29) sterane, Ts/Tm and C29Ts/C29l7α(H) norhopane and lower value of C19/C21 tricyclic terpane; (iii) with relatively high content of C27 and C28 sterane and lower abundance of C29 sterane and diasterane. They indicate that the early charged oils are derived from the pre-Jurassic lacustrine mudstones and the later charged oils are from the Jurassic coal-bearing strata or coals.展开更多

文摘This paper targets the shale oil reservoirs of middle to high maturity in four major basins of China, including the Permian Lucaogou Formation of the Jimsar Sag in the Junggar Basin, the Chang 73 Member of the Triassic Yanchang Formation in the Longdong area of the Ordos Basin, the Kong 2 Member of the Paleogene Kongdian Formation in Cangdong Sag of the Bohai Bay Basin, and the Qing 1 Member of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in Changling Sag of the Songliao Basin. The key parameters of the shale oil reservoirs in the four basins, such as reservoirs effectiveness, oil content, crude oil movability, and fracability, have been revealed under identical experimental conditions using the same evaluation technical system,on the basis of technique development and integrated application of multi-scale spatial distribution depiction, effective connectivity calculation, movable oil assessment based on the charging effect, and simulation of fracture propagation during reservoir stimulation. This research overcomes insufficient resolutions of conventional analysis approaches and difficulties in quantitative evaluation, develops the evaluation method for resource recoverability of different types of shale oil,and gains insights into different types of shale oil via comparison. The results of experiments and comparative analysis show that there are significant differences in the endowment of continental shale oil resources in the four major basins in China.Among them, the Lucaogou Formation in the Junggar Basin has more effective shale reservoirs, the Chang 73 sub-member of the Ordos Basin has a comparatively good proportion of movable oil and the Kong 2 Member of the Bohai Bay Basin has the best fracability. These results can provide references and basis for choosing development plans and engineering techniques.
文摘Seven samples collected from the Turpan-Hamin Basin were treated by sequential extraction method. They indicate that the early charged oils are derived from the pre-Jurassic lacustrine mudstones and the later charged oils are from the Jurassic coal-bearing strata or coals.

文摘Investigation into natural fractures is extremely important for the exploration and development of low-permeability reservoirs.Previous studies have proven that abundant oil resources are present in the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation Chang 7 oil-bearing layer of the Ordos Basin, which are accumulated in typical low-permeability shale reservoirs.Natural fractures are important storage spaces and flow pathways for shale oil.In this study, characteristics of natural fractures in the Chang 7 oil-bearing layer are first analyzed. The results indicate that most fractures are shear fractures in the Heshui region, which are characterized by high-angle,unfilled,and ENE-WSW-trending strike.Subsequently, natural fracture distributions in the Yanchang Formation Chang 7 oil-bearing layer of the study area are predicted based on the R/S analysis approach.Logs of AC,CAL,ILD,LL8,and DEN are selected and used for fracture prediction in this study, and the R(n)/S(n)curves of each log are calculated. The quadratic derivatives are calculated to identify the concave points in the R(n)/S(n)curve,indicating the location where natural fracture develops.Considering the difference in sensitivity of each log to natural fracture, gray prediction analysis is used to construct a new parameter, fracture prediction indicator K,to quantitatively predict fracture development. In addition, fracture development among different wells is compared. The results show that parameter K responds well to fracture development. Some minor errors may probably be caused by the heterogeneity of the reservoir, limitation of core range and fracture size, dip angle, filling minerals, etc.
