In the future, the energy structure will be dominated by the solar energy and other renewable energy sources. The solar concentrating technology as a promising method has been widely studied for collecting solar energy. However, the previous solar concentrating technologies suffer from some drawbacks, such as low focusing efficiency and large concentrating size. The Luneburg lens with highly efficient aberration-free focusing provides a new route for solar/energy concentrator. In this work, we designed a plane focal surface Luneburg lens(PFSLL) by transformation optics(TO). The PFSLL provides a relatively high focusing efficiency and concentration ratio of collection of energy. At the same time, it circumvents the disadvantage of curve surface of the classical Luneburg lens in device integration. Based on the reciprocity of electromagnetic waves, the PFSLL can also be applied to the antenna field to achieve broadband wide-angle scanning and highly directional radiation.展开更多

文摘The Cooling Storage Ring external-target experiment(CEE)spectrometer is used to study the nuclear matter created in heavy-ion collisions at√sNN=2.1-2.4 GeV with the aim to reveal the quantum chromodynamics phase structure in the high-baryon-density region.Collective flow is considered an effective probe for evaluating the properties of media during high-energy nuclear collisions. One of the main functions of the zero-degree calorimeter(ZDC),a subdetector system in the CEE,is to determine the reaction plane in heavy-ion collisions. This step is crucial for measuring the collective flow and other reaction-plane-related analyses. In this paper,we illustrate the procedures for event plane determination using the ZDC.Finally,isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model-based predictions of the rapidity dependence of the directed and elliptical flows for p,d,t,3He,and 4He,produced in 2.1 GeV U+U collisions, are presented.

文摘To investigate the dynamic damage evolution characteristics of bank slopes with serrated structural planes, the shaking table model test and the numerical simulation were utilized. The main findings indicate that under continuous seismic loads, the deformation of the bank slope increased, particularly around the hydro-fluctuation belt, accompanying by the pore water pressure rising. The soil pressure increased and then decreased showed dynamic variation characteristics. As the undulation angle of the serrated structural planes increased(30°, 45°, and 60°),the failure modes were climbing, climbinggnawing, and gnawing respectively. The first-order natural frequency was used to calculate the damage degree(Dd)of the bank slope.During microseisms and small earthquakes,it was discovered that the evolution of Dd followed the“S”shape, which was fitted by a logic function.Additionally, the quadratic function was used to fit the Dd during moderately strong earthquakes.Through the numerical simulation, the variation characteristics of safety factors(Sf)for slopes with serrated structural planes and slopes with straight structural planes were compared.Under continuous seismic loads, the Sf of slopes with straight structural planes reduce stalely, whereas the Sf for slopes with serrated structural planes was greater than the former and the reduction rate was increasing.

文摘This paper concerns the position optimization problem of a mobile relay over a whole horizontal plane. This problem is important because the position of a mobile relay directly affects the end-to-end performance,e.g.,reliability,connectivity,and data rate.In this paper,we propose a new position optimization scheme of a mobile relay over a whole horizontal plane based on the one-bit feedback information from the destination node, which improves the performance over the prior scheme whose position of the mobile relay is optimized over a fixed orbit. In the proposed scheme, the mobile relay is equipped with merely one single onboard antenna. Moreover,no prior information about the positions of both the source node and the destination node is required. Thus, the proposed scheme can work at low network resources scenario, which is particularly suitable for mobile relay communication with constrained energy,e.g.,the communications in a disaster area where the infrastructure is heavily damaged, volcano monitoring, and wireless powered communication networking.According to the characteristics of the proposed scheme,we further design two heuristic implementations to calculate the optimal position of a mobile relay over a whole horizontal plane. The first implementation has better steady performance whereas the second implementation has better convergence speed. We implement the proposed scheme and conduct an extensive performance comparison between the proposed scheme and prior schemes to verify the advantages of the proposed scheme.

文摘In practical engineering, the total vertical stress in the soil layer is not constant due to stress diffusion, and varies with time and depth. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of stress diffusion on the two-dimensional(2D)plane strain consolidation properties of unsaturated soils when the stress varies with time and depth.A series of semi-analytical solutions in terms of excess pore air and water pressures and settlement for 2D plane strain consolidation of unsaturated soils can be derived with the joint use of Laplace transform and Fourier sine series expansion. Then, the inverse Laplace transform of the semi-analytical solution is given in the time domain using a self-programmed code based on Crump’s method. The reliability of the obtained solutions is proved by the degeneration. Finally, the 2D plots of excess pore pressures and the curves of settlement varying with time, considering different physical parameters of unsaturated soil stratum and depth-dependent stress, are depicted and analyzed to study the 2D plane strain consolidation properties of unsaturated soils subjected to the depthdependent stress.

文摘The accurate knowledge of the thrust vector eccentricity and beam divergence characteristics of Hall thrusters are of significant engineering value for the beneficial integration and successful application of Hall thrusters on spacecraft. For the characteristics of the plume bipolar diffusion due to the annular discharge channel of the Hall thruster,a Gaussian-fitted method for thrust vector deviation angle and beam divergence of Hall thrusters based on dual Faraday probe array planes was proposed in respect of the Hall thruster beam characteristics. The results show that the ratios of the deviation between the maximum and minimum values of the beam divergence angle and the thrust vector eccentricity angle using a Gaussian fit to the optimized Faraday probe dual plane to the mean value are 1.4%and 11.5%,respectively.The optimized thrust vector eccentricity angle obtained has been substantially improved,by approximately 20%.The beam divergence angle calculated using a Gaussian fitting to the optimized Faraday probe dual plane is approximately identical to the non-optimized one.The beam divergence and thrust vector eccentricity angles for different anode mass flow rates were obtained by averaging the beam divergence and thrust vector eccentricity angles calculated by the dual-plane,Gaussian-fitted ion current density method for different cross-sections.The study not only allows for an immediate and effective tool for determining the design of thrust vector adjustment mechanisms of spacecraft with different power Hall thrusters but also for characterizing the 3D spatial distribution of the Hall thruster plume.

文摘The staggered distribution of joints and fissures in space constitutes the weak part of any rock mass. The identification of rock mass structural planes and the extraction of characteristic parameters are the basis of rock-mass integrity evaluation, which is very important for analysis of slope stability. The laser scanning technique can be used to acquire the coordinate information pertaining to each point of the structural plane, but large amount of point cloud data, uneven density distribution, and noise point interference make the identification efficiency and accuracy of different types of structural planes limited by point cloud data analysis technology.A new point cloud identification and segmentation algorithm for rock mass structural surfaces is proposed.Based on the distribution states of the original point cloud in different neighborhoods in space, the point clouds are characterized by multi-dimensional eigenvalues and calculated by the robust randomized Hough transform(RRHT).The normal vector difference and the final eigenvalue are proposed for characteristic distinction, and the identification of rock mass structural surfaces is completed through regional growth, which strengthens the difference expression of point clouds. In addition, nearest Voxel downsampling is also introduced in the RRHT calculation, which further reduces the number of sources of neighborhood noises, thereby improving the accuracy and stability of the calculation. The advantages of the method have been verified by laboratory models. The results showed that the proposed method can better achieve the segmentation and statistics of structural planes with interfaces and sharp boundaries. The method works well in the identification of joints, fissures, and other structural planes on Mangshezhai slope in the Three Gorges Reservoir area,China. It can provide a stable and effective technique for the identification and segmentation of rock mass structural planes, which is beneficial in engineering practice.

文摘For the aqueous Zn-ion battery, dendrite formation, corrosion, and interfacial parasitic reactions are major issues, which greatly inhibits their practical application. How to develop a method of Zn construction or treatment to solve these issues for Zn anodes are still great challenges.Herein,a simple and cheap metal passivation technique is proposed for Zn anodes from a corrosion science perspective.Similar to the metal anticorrosion engineering, the formed interfacial protective layer in a chemical way can sufficiently solve the corrosion issues.Furthermore, the proposed passivity approach can reconstruct Zn surface-preferred crystal planes, exposing more(002)planes and improving surface hydrophilicity, which inhibits the formation of Zn dendrites and hydrogen evolution effectively. As expected, the passivated Zn achieves outstanding cycling life(1914 h)with low voltage polarization(<40 mV).Even at 6 mA cm^(−2) and 3 mA h cm^(−2),it can achieve stable Zn deposition over 460 h.The treated Zn anode coupled with MnO_(2) cathode shows prominently reinforced full batteries service life, making it a potential Zn anode candidate for excellent performance aqueous Zn-ion batteries. The proposed passivation approach provides a guideline for other metal electrodes preparation in various batteries and establishes the connections between corrosion science and batteries.
文摘BACKGROUND Transversus abdominis plane block(TAPB)is a block of the abdominal afferent nerve fibers between the internal oblique muscle and the transverse abdominal muscle achieved with local anesthetics. It can effectively block the conduction of the anterior nerve of the abdominal wall and exert a good analgesic effect. However, the effect of combining the block with remimazolam on anesthesia in patients undergoing gastrointestinal tumor surgery is still unclear.AIM To examine the effects of combining TAPB with remimazolam on the stress response and postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal tumor surgery patients.METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 102 individuals diagnosed with gastrointestinal malignancies who underwent laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia between April 2020 and June 2023.The patients were categorized into a control group(n=51),receiving remimazolam for general anesthesia, and an observation group(n=51),receiving TAPB combined with remimazolam for general anesthesia.A comparison was made between both groups in terms of hemodynamic parameters, stress markers, pain levels, recovery quality, analgesic effects, and adverse reactions during the perioperative period.RESULTS The observation group had significantly higher heart rates at time points 1 min after induction and upon leaving the operating room than the control group(P<0.05).The mean arterial pressure at time point T1 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Five minutes after extubation, the levels of the hormones adrenaline and noradrenaline in the observation group were considerably lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 12 h,24 h,and 48 h following surgery, the visual analog scale scores of the observation group were considerably lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had shorter awakening and extubation times and lower Riker sedation-agitation scale scores than the control group(P<0.05).The observation group exhibited considerably fewer effective pump presses, lower fentanyl dosages, and lower incidences of rescue analgesia within 24 h following surgery than the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The application effect of TAPB combined with remimazolam general anesthesia in anesthesia of patients undergoing gastrointestinal tumor surgery is good, which is helpful to promote faster recovery after operation.

文摘The energy crisis has aroused widespread concern, and the reform of energy structure is imminent. Based on the reciprocity of electromagnetic waves, the PFSLL can also be applied to the antenna field to achieve broadband wide-angle scanning and highly directional radiation.

文摘Erector spinae plane block (ESPB) is a novel fascial plane block that was first described in 2016. It is considered an alternative for brachial plexus blocks in shoulder surgeries as the erector spinae muscle extends to the cervical level. Herein, we present a successful multilevel ESPB plus an interscalene block using liposomal bupivacaine in a 45-year-old female patient with metastatic sarcoma who presented for scapula and proximal humerus resection. The post-operative course was smooth, and the patient was discharged home on post-operative day 2 with minimal narcotic requirements.
