Objective:To explore the impact of a continuous precision nursing model on patients’Knowledge,Attitudes, and Practices(KAP)and cardiac function during the nursing process of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary angiography and stent implantation. Methods:Ninety patients who underwent percutaneous coronary angiography and stent implantation in our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group(45 cases),in which routine nursing support was carried out during the treatment process, and the observation group(45 cases),in which continuous precision nursing model was carried out during the treatment process.Comparisons were made between the two groups of patients on their KAP,cardiac function, and quality of life during recovery. Results:There was no difference in the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),cardiac output(CO),and cardiac index(CI)levels before intervention. After the intervention, the levels of cardiac function in the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the Exercise of Self-Care Agency(ESCA)self-care ability scale scores before the intervention. After the intervention, the observation group had higher ESCA scores than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementation of a continuous precision nursing model in the care of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary angiography and stent implantation improved the patient’s cardiac function, and KAP,and promoted recovery. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Cerebral infarction, previously referred to as cerebral infarction or ischemic stroke, refers to the localized brain tissue experiencing ischemic necrosis or softening due to disorders in brain blood supply, ischemia, and hypoxia. The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management is a continuous, fixed, orderly, and efficient nursing model aimed at standardizing the clinical nursing process, reducing the wastage of medical resources, and improving the quality of medical services.AIM To analyze the value of a precise rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management in patients with cerebral infarction.METHODS Patients(n=124)admitted to our hospital with cerebral infarction between November 2019 and November 2021 were enrolled as the study subjects. The random number table method was used to divide them into a conventional nursing intervention group(n=61)and a model nursing intervention group(n=63).Changes in the nursing index for the two groups were compared after conventional nursing intervention and precise rehabilitation intervention nursing for chronic disease management.RESULTS Compared with the conventional intervention group, the model intervention group had a shorter time to clinical symptom relief(P<0.05),lower Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale scores,a lower incidence of total complications(P<0.05),a higher disease knowledge mastery rate, higher safety and quality, and a higher overall nursing satisfaction rate(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management improves the clinical symptoms of patients with cerebral infarction, reducing the incidence of total complications and improving the clinical outcome of patients, and is worthy of application in clinical practice. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Patients with benign prostatic disease often experience detrusor morphological changes and dysfunction. In severe cases,it leads to bladder detrusor dysfunction, resulting in dysuria, frequent urination, urgent urination, incomplete urination, and other symptoms including renal function injury. An operation to restore normal urination function and to control postoperative complications,as far as possible,is the most common method for benign prostatic disease.AIM To observe the effect of precise nursing service mode on postoperative urinary incontinence prevention in patients with prostate disease.METHODS In total,130 patients diagnosed with benign prostatic disease, from January 2018 to June 2021,in our hospital, were selected and divided into observation and control groups according to their treatment options.Sixty-five cases in the control group were given routine nursing mode intervention and 65 cases in the observation group received precise nursing service mode intervention. The intervention with the observation group included psychological counseling about negative emotions, pelvic floor exercises, and post-hospital discharge care. The complications of the two groups were counted, and the general postoperative conditions of the two groups were recorded. The urinary flow dynamics indexes of the two groups were detected, and differences in clinical international prostate system score(IPSS)and urinary incontinence quality of life questionnaire(I-QOL)scores were evaluated.RESULTS Postoperative exhaust time(18.65±3.23 h and 24.63±4.51 h),the time of indwelling catheter(4.85±1.08 d and 5.63±1.24 d),and hospitalization time(8.78±2.03 d and 10.23±2.28 d)in the observation group were lower than in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the operation, the maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax)increased(P<0.05),the residual urine volume(RUV)decreased(P<0.05),and the maximum closed urethral pressure(MUCP)was not statistically significant(P>0.05)compared to pre-operation.The Qmax of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the RUV was lower than that of the control group. There was no significant difference in MUCP between the observation and control groups(P>0.05).The I-QOL score of the two groups improved(P<0.05),and the IPSS decreased(P<0.05).After the operation, the I-QOL score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the IPSS was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidence of urethral injury(1.54%and 3.08%),bladder spasm(0.00%and 1.54%),and secondary bleeding(1.54%and 4.62)between the observation and control groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION The precise nursing service mode can reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary incontinence in patients with prostate disease, thus improving postoperative urodynamics and rehabilitation, and quality of life. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Low anterior resection syndrome(LARS)is a common complication of anuspreserving surgery in patients with colorectal cancer, which significantly affects patients'quality of life.AIM To determine the relationship between the incidence of LARS and patient quality of life after colorectal cancer surgery and to establish a LARS prediction model to allow perioperative precision nursing.METHODS We reviewed the data from patients who underwent elective radical resection for colorectal cancer at our institution from April 2013 to June 2020 and completed the LARS score questionnaire and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Core Quality of Life and Colorectal Cancer Module questionnaires.According to the LARS score results, the patients were divided into no LARS,mild LARS,and severe LARS groups. The incidence of LARS and the effects of this condition on patient quality of life were determined.Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify independent risk factors for the occurrence of LARS.Based on these factors,we established a risk prediction model for LARS and evaluated its performance.RESULTS Among the 223 patients included,51 did not develop LARS and 171 had mild or severe LARS.The following quality of life indicators showed significant differences between patients without LARS and those with mild or severe LARS:Physical, role, emotional, and cognitive function, total health status, fatigue, pain, shortness of breath, insomnia, constipation, and diarrhea.Tumor size,partial/total mesorectal excision, colostomy, preoperative radiotherapy, and neoadjuvant chemotherapy were identified to be independent risk factors for LARS.A LARS prediction model was successfully established, which demonstrated an accuracy of 0.808 for predicting the occurrence of LARS.CONCLUSION The quality of life of patients with LARS after colorectal cancer surgery is significantly reduced. 展开更多
