As a result, the product of Mrand thickness(i.e., the remanent moment-thickness product, Mrt), a key parameter in magnetic recording for reliable data storing and reading, also decreases dramatically. To overcome this issue, we deposit an ultra-thick granular [Co/Pt]80multilayer with a total thickness of 68 nm on granular SiNxbuffer layer. The Mrt value, Mrto saturation magnetization(Ms) ratio as well as out of plane(OOP) coercivity(Hcoop) are high up to 2.97 memu/cm^(2), 67%, and 1940 Oe(1 Oe = 79.5775 A·m^(-1)),respectively, which is remarkably improved compared with that of continuous [Co/Pt]80multilayers. That is because large amounts of grain boundaries in the granular multilayers can efficiently impede the propagation and expansion of reversed magnetic domains, which is verified by experimental investigations and micromagnetic simulation results. The simulation results also indicate that the value of Mrt, Mr/Msratio, and Hcoopcan be further improved through optimizing the granule size, which can be experimentally realized by manipulating the process parameter of SiNxbuffer layer. This work provides an alternative solution for achieving high Mrt value in ultra-thick Co/Pt multilayers, which is of unneglectable potential in applications of high-density magnetic recording.展开更多

We collect near-field seismic recordings(epicentral distances less than 200 km) to relocate the mainshock and the aftershocks within the first 60 hours to determine the focal mechanism solutions of the mainshock and some of the aftershocks and to invert for the finite-fault model of the mainshock. The focal mechanism solution of the mainshock and the relocation results of the aftershocks constrain the mainshock on a nearly vertical fault plane striking northeast and dipping to the southeast. The inversion of the finite-fault model reveals only a single slip asperity on the fault plane. The major slip is distributed above the initiation point, ~14 km wide along the down-dip direction and ~14 km long along the strike direction, with a maximal slip of ~22 cm at a depth of ~6 km. The focal mechanism solutions of the aftershocks show that most of the aftershocks are of the strike-slip type, a number of them are of the normal-slip type, and only a few of them are of the thrust-slip type.On average, strike-slip is dominant on the fault plane of the mainshock, as the focal mechanism solution of the mainshock suggests, but when examined in detail, slight thrust-slip appears on the southwest of the fault plane while an obvious part of normal-slip appears on the northeast, which is consistent with what the focal mechanism solutions of the aftershocks display. The multiple types of aftershock focal mechanism solutions and the slip details of the mainshock both suggest a complex tectonic setting, stress setting, or both. The intensity contours predicted exhibit a longer axis trending from northeast to southwest and a maximal intensity of Ⅷ around the epicenter and in the northwest.展开更多

The coercivity of CoP films decreased with increasing film thickness. The coercivity was 45.37 kA m 1 at the thickness of 300 nm, and decreased to 21.65 kA m 1 at 5.7 μm. Microstructure analysis showed that crystallized SmCo5 magnetic phase, non-magnetic SmCo2 phase and Sm2Co7 phase co-existed in the film. The effective head field distribution in the medium is of key importance for the design of the SPT head, which would be analyzed by micromagnetic simulations in this work. Two 3D micromagnetic models of the SPT head were established to select a more appropriate method of modeling, with a magnetostatic image effect or a real soft magnetic material to model the image of the SPT head in soft under layer (SUL). The results from these two designs were tested and compared to the ideal head field calculated by the Jacobi finite element method (FEM); and the design with the real soft magnetic material as image was proved suitable for simulating the ultrahigh density perpendicular recording write head.展开更多

In the PC, an oscillation of local field potential (LFP) with 0.5 - 1 Hz is observed by electrophysiological extracellular recording. Additionally, spatiotemporal neural activities in the PC have been examined using optical recordings. However, extracellular recording is preferable to measure neural activities for a long time with a high speed, while it is not abundant in spatial information. In this study, we therefore attempted to elicit spatial information from extracellular recording. For this purpose, we evaluated spatial information included in the LFP compared with the spatiotemporal neural activities measured by the fluorescent voltage imaging. As a result, aversive odors induced the coherent spatiotemporal neural activities in the PC, and the increase in coherency was observed as a change in the LFP waveform. It was also evaluated as a decrease in entropy by analyzing the LFP oscillation patterns and wavelet analysis. Thus, although the LFP provides only one series of signals, the coherency of the spatiotemporal neural activities in the PC can be evaluated by applying extracellular recording with wavelet analysis.展开更多

文摘Thanks to the strong perpendicular magnetic anisotropy(PMA), excellent processing compatibility as well as novel spintronic phenomenon, Co/Pt multilayers have been attracting massive attention and widely used in magnetic storage. However, reversed magnetic domains come into being with the increasing layer repetition ‘N’ to reduce magneto-static energy, resulting in the remarkable diminishment of the remanent magnetization(Mr). This work provides an alternative solution for achieving high Mrt value in ultra-thick Co/Pt multilayers, which is of unneglectable potential in applications of high-density magnetic recording.

文摘Bit-Pattemed Magnetic Recording(BPMR)is one of the emerging data storage technologies, which promises an Areal Density(AD)of about 4 Tb/in2.However,a major problem practically encountered in a BPMR system is Inter-Track Interference(ITI)that can deteriorate the overall system performance, especially at high ADs.This paper proposes an iterative ITI cancellation method for an m-head m-track BPMR system, which uses m heads to read m adjacent tracks and decodes them simultaneously. To cancel the ITI,we subtract the weighted readback signals of adjacent tracks, acting as the ITI signals, from the readback signal of the target track, before passing the refined readback signal to a turbo decoder. Then, the decoded data will be employed to reconstruct the ITI signal for the next turbo iteration.Experimental results indicate that the proposed system performs better than the conventional system that uses one head to read one data track.Furthermore,we also find out that the proposed system is more robust to media noise and track misregistration than the conventional system.

文摘The field of digital audio forensics aims to detect threats and fraud in audio signals.Contemporary audio forensic techniques use digital signal processing to detect the authenticity of recorded speech, recognize speakers, and recognize recording devices.User-generated audio recordings from mobile phones are very helpful in a number of forensic applications. This article proposed a novel method for recognizing recording devices based on recorded audio signals.First,a database of the features of various recording devices was constructed using 32 recording devices(20 mobile phones of different brands and 12 kinds of recording pens)in various environments.Second, the audio features of each recording device, such as the Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients(MFCC),were extracted from the audio signals and used as model inputs. Finally, support vector machines(SVM)with fractional Gaussian kernel were used to recognize the recording devices from their audio features.Experiments demonstrated that the proposed method had a 93.4%accuracy in recognizing recording devices.
文摘Errors have traditionally been a less commonly discussed topic but are becoming increasingly examined due to a trend towards expanded awareness about the high human and financial cost of errors in medicine. Recording and reporting of errors has been a difficult issue in the health sector due to fear of litigation from patients, complaint to governing bodies, and embarrassment from colleagues. In this article we examine the advantages of prospective error recording. The studies on this subject report that the culture of prospective error recording is of high value in improving most parameters of errors and may indeed reduce complications.

文摘1.Objectives The laboratory of Xi’an Center,China Geological Survey has long been engaged in the testing of oil and gas geochemical samples.Among the different indexes, the measurement of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon needs to be completed by the fluorescence spectrophotometer which is made in PE Company.According to the standard method, the fluorescence intensity values of three emission wavelengths under a certain excitation wavelength should be provided.
文摘The procerebrum (PC) of the land slug Limax is the olfactory center involved in olfactory discrimination and learning. Thus, although the LFP provides only one series of signals, the coherency of the spatiotemporal neural activities in the PC can be evaluated by applying extracellular recording with wavelet analysis.

文摘AIM To determine the feasibility of introducing video recording(VR) of neonatal resuscitation(NR) in a perinatal centre.METHODS This was a prospective cohort quality improvement study on preterm infants and their caregivers.Based on evidence and experience of other centers using VR intervention,a contextually relevant implementation and evaluation strategy was designed in the planning phase. The components of intervention were pre-resuscitation team huddle,VR of NR and video debriefing(VD),all occurringon the same day.Various domains of feasibility and sustainability as well as feasibility criteria were predefined.Data for analysis was collected using quantitative and qualitative methods.RESULTS Seventy-one caregivers participated in VD of 14 NRs facilitated by six trained instructors.Ninety-one percent of caregivers perceived enhanced learning and patient safety and,48 issues were identified related to policy, caregiver roles, and latent safety threats.Ninety percent of caregivers expressed their willingness to participate in VD activity and supported the idea of integrating it into a resuscitation team routine.Eighty-three percent and 50% of instructors expressed satisfaction with video review software and quality of audio VR.No issues about maintenance of infant or caregivers' confidentiality and erasure of videos were reported.Criteria for feasibility were met(refusal rate of < 10%,VR performed on > 50% of occasions, and < 20% caregivers' perceiving a negative impact on team performance).Necessary adaptations to enhance sustainability were identified.CONCLUSION VR of NR as a standard of care quality assurance activity to enhance caregivers' learning and create opportunities that improve patient safety is feasible.Despite its complexity with inherent challenges in implementation, the intervention was acceptable, implementable, and potentially sustainable with adaptations.
