Shanxi Tongzhi,written during the reign of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty,is a typical example of the printed version of ancient Chinese books.Through the textual research of relevant cultural and historical mate...Shanxi Tongzhi,written during the reign of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty,is a typical example of the printed version of ancient Chinese books.Through the textual research of relevant cultural and historical materials,combined with the research on the publishing background and the formal binding system,this paper shows that“Shanxi Tongzhi”during Qing Guangxu has four editions since the original edition was compiled and published in 1892.With development and changes,its content has been continuously deepened and expanded.The version inherits the ancient system and extensive collection,the printing form is rigorous,and the binding is simple and exquisite,which has essential historical research value.At the same time,the traditional and straightforward Chinese-style aesthetics of the ancient printed version of“Shanxi Tongzhi”published during Qing Guangxu has a very high reference value for the exploration and development of the new connotation of the modern book form.展开更多

The study shows that the formation and development of the...Shanxi Province is a region with frequent occurrence of earthquakes, floods and waterlogging, meteorological and geologic hazards, and agrobiohazards in China. The study shows that the formation and development of the down-faulted basin zone in Shanxi Province provides an available condition for preparation and occurrence of these hazards, so that the basin zone becomes an area with frequent occurrence of the hazards, such as earthquakes, floods and waterlogging, meteorological and geologic hazards and agrobiohazards in Shanxi and with their most serious interaction and mutual intensification. Moreover, the basin zone is an area with dense population and most concentrated industrial and agricultural productions and social-economic property in Shanxi. The comprehensive effect of the two factors caused the zone to be a high natural disaster risk area in Shanxi. For reduction of natural disasters and ensuring the sustainable social-economic development in Shanxi, it is necessary to regard the basin zone as an important area for disaster reduction in Shanxi and to carry out integrated disaster reduction.展开更多

According to the spatial distribution of small and moderate earthquakes, 6 seismic dense zones are delineated. It is notably dif...A new gigantic sauropod, Huabeisaurus allocates gen. et sp. nov., about 20 m in length and 5 m in height, was discovered in the Upper Cretaceous Huiquanpu Formation, Tianzhen County, Shanxi Province. It is notably different from Diplodocidae, Titanosauridae and Nemegtosauridae in the following aspects: the teeth are strong, peg-like with a length ratio of the tooth crown to tooth root at about 3 to 1; the cervical vertebrae are long with forked spines; the spines in dorsal vertebrae are relatively high, unbifiarcated; the caudal vertebrae are amphicoelous, with anterior neural spines and unbifurcated spines and chevrons; the femur is straight and long, narrow and flat and the tibia and fibula are long and flat. These characters show that the described genus should represent a new family, Huabeisauridae fam. nov. The discovery enriches the sauropod dinosaur record in China, and is quite significant to the study of the taxonomy, evolution, migration, extinction and palaeobiogeographic provincialism of展开更多

The deposit is located in a secondary metallogenic. belt of the most famous Au-Ag polymetallic metallogenic belt along the north margin of the North China platform. The secondary metallogenic belt is a synmagmatic tension-shear fault-fracture belt of ENE linear trend. The Indosinian cryptoexplosive breccia body, quartz monzonitic porphyry (beschtauite breccia), quartz monzonite (243.7 Ma, K-Ar), Yanshanian granite-porphyry (105±6 Ma, Rb-Sr) and orebodies mostly occur as dykes or veins and short lenses along the structural fracture belt. The orebodies are emplaced in the fractured cryptoexplosive breccia body in the tectonomagmatic belt and their attitude is consistent with that of the breccia body. The orebodies have two types: one is shallow-seated thick and big ones, which are short-lenticular in plan and wedge-shaped in cross section, shallow buried, large in size展开更多

This paper makes a systematical study on characteristics of structure and motion of the tectonic blocks in northern part of the Shanxi fault depression zone by means of geometrical and kinematical analysis of the bloc...This paper makes a systematical study on characteristics of structure and motion of the tectonic blocks in northern part of the Shanxi fault depression zone by means of geometrical and kinematical analysis of the blocks. The kinetic behavior of the blocks is discussed by comparing associated geomorphic features of fault movement. All analyses and studies are based on a Domino model. The block movement, fault basin extension and their regional distribution are systematically investigated. The result shows: (a) The studied region is divided into sub-regions by NW striking faults: the western, middle and eastern sub-region with crustal extension being 4.46 km, 2.80 km and 1.86 km, respectively. The extensional amount of each block in the region is estimated being generally about 1 km. The calculated result using the block motion model approximately fits the data of geologic survey. (b) Block kinematical features are obviously different between the northern and southern part, with the Hengshan block in between, of the studied region. Moreover, the magnitude of the largest historical earthquake in the northern part is about 6, while that in the southern is 7. The faulted blocks in the northern sub-region show northwestward extension, indicating a feature of extensional graben, while the blocks in the southern part manifest tilt motion, extending southeastward, in the opposite sense of fault dipping. Additional tectonic stress generated by block rotation may be one of major factors affecting seismogenic process in the region. It is responsible for the difference in the movement of the block boundary faults and seismic activities between the two sub-regions.展开更多
To understand the geochemical characteristics of the No.9 coal in the Daheng Mine of the Ningwu coalfield,the trace element analysis was conducted through X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy(XRF)and inductively coupled pl...To understand the geochemical characteristics of the No.9 coal in the Daheng Mine of the Ningwu coalfield,the trace element analysis was conducted through X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy(XRF)and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The sedimentary environment was discussed according to the element geochemical parameters.The results show that Li,Ga,Hf,Zr,Nb,Th,and Ta are slightly enriched in the No.9 coal of Daheng Mine.The average value of the rare earth elements and yttrium(ΣREY)in coal here is 144.20μg/g(excluding parting),which is higher than the average value ofΣREY in the world’s coal and China’s coal.The light rare earth elements(LREY)are enriched.The content of Eu was 0.12‒2.10μg/g with an average of 0.57μg/g,and the Eu is obviously negatively abnormal.Most of the trace elements in the coal are positively correlated with the ash content,which shows that the occurrence of these trace elements is related to inorganic minerals.The results of sequential chemical extraction experiments show that rare earth elements mainly exist in coal in the form of aluminosilicate.The value of the Sr/Ba and the content of S reflect that the coal-forming environment was influenced by seawater.The values of V/Cr and Ni/Co reflect that the peat swamp is in an anaerobic environment and a strongly reducing environment during the coal-forming period.展开更多

An earthquake of M=8 occurred in the Linfen Basin of the Shanxi graben system in 1303,producing a surface rupture zone about 45km long.Compiling a geological map at 1:10,000 and studying in detail the rupture zone,its...An earthquake of M=8 occurred in the Linfen Basin of the Shanxi graben system in 1303,producing a surface rupture zone about 45km long.Compiling a geological map at 1:10,000 and studying in detail the rupture zone,its dextral strike-slip displacement is determined to be 4-8.6 m,and normal dip-slip displacement up to 3.5-5 m.In this paper the geochronological evidence for the formation of the surface rupture zone is provided and the Huoshan fault is confirmed to be the seismogenic structure for the M=8 earthquake.Field trenching enables us to identify two paleoseismic events having occurred along the Huoshan fault since the middle Holocene before the M8 earthquake.A recurrence interval of these three events including 1303 Hongdong M 8 earthquake is determined to be up to 1500-2000 years.The result corresponds to the mean recurrence interval calculated from slip rate on the Huoshan fault during Holocene.展开更多

The results show that age, gender, skills and other factors, have significant impact on migrant workers' income, while the educational level and the working places within the province have inconspicuous impact on migrant workers' income. Therefore, in order to improve the income of migrant workers in Shanxi Province, we must adopt some measures as follows: train the migrant workers to promote their vocational skills; expand employment space; promote integration of agricultural production, supply and marketing.展开更多

The faulted blocks in the northern sub-region show northwestward extension, indicating a feature of extensional graben, while the blocks in the southern part manifest tilt motion, extending southeastward, in the opposite sense of fault dipping. Additional tectonic stress generated by block rotation may be one of major factors affecting seismogenic process in the region. It is responsible for the difference in the movement of the block boundary faults and seismic activities between the two sub-regions.

文摘To understand the geochemical characteristics of the No.9 coal in the Daheng Mine of the Ningwu coalfield,the trace element analysis was conducted through X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy(XRF)and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The sedimentary environment was discussed according to the element geochemical parameters.The results show that Li,Ga,Hf,Zr,Nb,Th,and Ta are slightly enriched in the No.9 coal of Daheng Mine.The average value of the rare earth elements and yttrium(ΣREY)in coal here is 144.20μg/g(excluding parting),which is higher than the average value ofΣREY in the world’s coal and China’s coal.The light rare earth elements(LREY)are enriched.The content of Eu was 0.12‒2.10μg/g with an average of 0.57μg/g,and the Eu is obviously negatively abnormal.Most of the trace elements in the coal are positively correlated with the ash content,which shows that the occurrence of these trace elements is related to inorganic minerals.The results of sequential chemical extraction experiments show that rare earth elements mainly exist in coal in the form of aluminosilicate.The value of the Sr/Ba and the content of S reflect that the coal-forming environment was influenced by seawater.The values of V/Cr and Ni/Co reflect that the peat swamp is in an anaerobic environment and a strongly reducing environment during the coal-forming period.

The research results show that there are deep tectonic background for occurring moderate earthquakes in Lingshi-Jiexiu region between Linfen and Taiyuan. From now on, the region should be attached closely.

文摘An earthquake of M=8 occurred in the Linfen Basin of the Shanxi graben system in 1303,producing a surface rupture zone about 45km long.Compiling a geological map at 1:10,000 and studying in detail the rupture zone,its dextral strike-slip displacement is determined to be 4-8.6 m,and normal dip-slip displacement up to 3.5-5 m.In this paper the geochronological evidence for the formation of the surface rupture zone is provided and the Huoshan fault is confirmed to be the seismogenic structure for the M=8 earthquake.Field trenching enables us to identify two paleoseismic events having occurred along the Huoshan fault since the middle Holocene before the M8 earthquake.A recurrence interval of these three events including 1303 Hongdong M 8 earthquake is determined to be up to 1500-2000 years.The result corresponds to the mean recurrence interval calculated from slip rate on the Huoshan fault during Holocene.

文摘On the basis of conducting field survey of migrant workers in 18 counties of Shanxi Province, this article analyses the basic characteristics of migrant workers in Shanxi Province, and adopts revised Mincer model to conduct empirical analysis of various factors concerning the income of migrant workers in Shanxi Province. The results show that age, gender, skills and other factors, have significant impact on migrant workers' income, while the educational level and the working places within the province have inconspicuous impact on migrant workers' income. Therefore, in order to improve the income of migrant workers in Shanxi Province, we must adopt some measures as follows: train the migrant workers to promote their vocational skills; expand employment space; promote integration of agricultural production, supply and marketing.
