A study has been made on vit...This paper gives an overview of studies on parameters displayed on the Automotive Head Up Display (A-HUD) including calculation and construction of symbology page based on study results. A study has been made on vital parameters required for car drivers and design calculations have been made based on design parameters like field of view, distance from the design eye position, minimum character size viewable from a distance of 1.5m between driver and the projected image, and optical magnification factor. lhe display format suitable for A-HUD applications depends upon the parameters required to be displayed. The aspect ratio chosen is 4:3. This paper also provides method to design the symbology page embedding six vital parameters with their relative positioning and size considering relative position between display device and optical elements which has been considered with a magnification factor of 2.5. The field of view obtained is 6.7° × 4.8°.展开更多
We propose a novel method to determine the structure of symbols for any family of polylogarithmic Feynman integrals.Using the d log-bases and simple formulas for the leading order and next-to-leading contributions to ...We propose a novel method to determine the structure of symbols for any family of polylogarithmic Feynman integrals.Using the d log-bases and simple formulas for the leading order and next-to-leading contributions to the intersection numbers,we give a streamlined procedure to compute the entries in the coefficient matrices of canonical differential equations,including the symbol letters and the rational coefficients.We also provide a selection rule to decide whether a given matrix element must be zero.The symbol letters are deeply related to the poles of the integrands and also have interesting connections to the geometry of Newton polytopes.Our method can be applied to many cutting-edge multi-loop calculations.The simplicity of our results also hints at the possible underlying structure in perturbative quantum field theories.展开更多
This contribution deals with the process of creation of symbol libraries for emergency situations cartography. The libraries were created as a TrueType font files. Two symbol libraries were created. The first one is a...This contribution deals with the process of creation of symbol libraries for emergency situations cartography. The libraries were created as a TrueType font files. Two symbol libraries were created. The first one is a set of symbols for description of map orientation (compass roses and north arrows) with correct national (in this case Czech) description. The second one is a set of symbols for description of CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) threats and another CBRN issues. The TrueType font files are used as symbol libraries in various ESRI products. The font libraries created in this form are easily transferable between various operating systems and GIS programs and also can be easily converted into various different vector graphics formats. The whole process of font creation has taken place under Linux environment. Fortunately main programs used in this process are multiplatform and could be used under Linux, MS Windows and other various computer operating was part of Ubuntu repository and it was obtained free of charge. systems.
