The identification and characterization of these interlayers iscritical for minimizing the uncertainty associated with oilfield development and improving oil and gas recovery.Identifying interlayers outside wells using identification methods based on logging data and machine learning isdifficult and seismic-based identification techniques are expensive. Herein, a numerical model based on seepageand well-testing theories is introduced to identify interlayers using transient pressure data. The proposed modelrelies on the open-source MATLAB Reservoir Simulation Toolbox. The effects of the interlayer thickness, position, and width on the pressure response are thoroughly investigated. A procedure for inverting interlayer parametersin the reservoir using the bottom-hole pressure is also proposed. This method uses only transient pressuredata during well testing and can effectively identify the interlayer distribution near the wellbore at an extremelylow cost. The reliability of the model is verified using effective oilfield examples.展开更多

Despite initial diagnostic complexities, cerebral angiography-MRI revealed features indicative of CAA. Symptomatic treatment resulted in improvement, but the patient later developed a fatal hematoma. The discussion navigates the intricate therapeutic landscape of repetitive TIAs in the elderly with cardiovascular risk factors, emphasizing the pivotal role of cerebral MRI and meticulous bleeding risk management. However, this method is rarely reported in the detection of pipelines in urban geophysical exploration and the application of coal mines. Based on this, this paper realizes the equivalent anti-magnetic flux transient electromagnetic method based on the dual launcher. The suppression effect of this method on the blind area is analyzed by physical simulation. And the detection experiment of underground pipelines is carried out outdoors. The results show that the dual launcher can significantly reduce the turn-off time, thereby effectively reducing the impact of the blind area on the detection results, and the pipeline detection results verify the device’s effectiveness. Finally, based on the ground experimental results, the application prospect of mine advanced detection is discussed. Compared with other detection fields, the formation of blind areas is mainly caused by the equipment. If the dual launcher can be used to reduce the blind area, the accuracy of advanced detection can be improved more effectively. The above research results are of great significance for improving the detection accuracy of the underground transient electromagnetic method.展开更多

Also known as an oxidative stress-activated channel, the transient receptor potential melastatin 2 gating mechanism is dependent on reactive oxygen species. In pathological conditions, transient receptor potential melastatin 2 is overactivated, leading to a Ca~(2+) influx that alters cell homeostasis and promotes cell death. The role of transient receptor potential melastatin 2 in neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease and ischemia, has already been described and reviewed. However, data on transient receptor potential melastatin 2 involvement in Parkinson's disease pathology has emerged only in recent years and the issue lacks review studies that focus specifically on this topic. The present review aims to elucidate the role of the transient receptor potential melastatin 2 channel in Parkinson's disease by reviewing, summarizing, and discussing the in vitro, in vivo, and human studies published until August 2022. Here we describe fourteen studies that evaluated the transient receptor potential melastatin 2 channel in Parkinson's disease. The Parkinson's disease model used, transient receptor potential melastatin 2 antagonist and genetic approaches, and the main outcomes reported were discussed. The studies described transient receptor potential melastatin 2 activation and enhanced expression in different Parkinson's disease models. They also evidenced protective and restorative effects when using transient receptor potential melastatin 2 antagonists, knockout, or silencing. This review provides a literature overview and suggests where there is a need for more research. As a perspective point, this review shows evidence that supports transient receptor potential melastatin 2 as a pharmacological target for Parkinson's disease in the future.展开更多

In this paper, based on the time-dependent Poiseuille flow momentum equation, we present a novel transient model to describe oil transport in unsteady and steady states. The model incorporates the effect of the critical shift density, apparent viscosity, slip length, and alkane property, as well as pore tortuosity and surface roughness. We evaluated our model through a comparison with other models, experiments, and molecular dynamics simulations. The results show that the development rates of the volume flows of C_(6)–C_(12) alkane confined in inorganic nanopores and C_(12) alkane confined in organic nanopores were faster than that of the corresponding bulk alkane. In addition, the critical drift density positively promoted the volume flow development rate in the unsteady state and negatively inhibited the mass flow rate in the steady state. This effect was clearest in pores with a smaller radius and lower-energy wall and in alkane with shorter chain lengths. Furthermore, both the nanoconfinement effect and pore structure determined whether the volume flow enhancement rate was greater than or less than 1. The rate increased or decreased with time and was controlled mainly by the nanoconfinement effect. Moreover, as the wall energy increased, the flow inhibition effect increased;as the carbon number of alkane increased, the flow promotion effect increased. The results indicate that the proposed model can accurately describe oil transport in shale nanopores.展开更多

文摘Transient receptor potential(TRP)channels are strongly associated with colon cancer development and progression. This study leveraged a multivariate Cox regression model on publicly available datasets to construct a TRP channels-associated gene signature, with further validation of signature in real world samples from our hospital treated patient samples.Kaplan-Meier(K-M)survival analysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were employed to evaluate this gene signature’s predictive accuracy and robustness in both training and testing cohorts, respectively.Additionally, the study utilized the CIBERSORT algorithm and single-sample gene set enrichment analysis to explore the signature’s immune infiltration landscape and underlying functional implications. The support vector machine algorithm was applied to evaluate the signature’s potential in predicting chemotherapy outcomes. The findings unveiled a novel three TRP channels-related gene signature(MCOLN1,TRPM5,and TRPV4)in colon adenocarcinoma(COAD).The ROC and K-M survival curves in the training dataset(AUC=0.761;p=1.58e-05)and testing dataset(AUC=0.699;p=0.004)showed the signature’s robust predictive capability for the overall survival of COAD patients.Analysis of the immune infiltration landscape associated with the signature revealed higher immune infiltration, especially an increased presence of M2 macrophages,in high-risk group patients compared to their low-risk counterparts.High-risk score patients also exhibited potential responsiveness to immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy, evident through increased CD86 and PD-1 expression profiles. Moreover, the TRPM5 gene within the signature was highly expressed in the chemoresistance group(p=0.00095)and associated with poor prognosis(p=0.036)in COAD patients, highlighting its role as a hub gene of chemoresistance.Ultimately, this signature emerged as an independent prognosis factor for COAD patients(p=6.48e-06)and expression of model gene are validated by public data and real-world patients.Overall, this bioinformatics study provides valuable insights into the prognostic implications and potential chemotherapy resistance mechanisms associated with TRPs-related genes in colon cancer.
文摘Almost all sandstone reservoirs contain interlayers. The reliability of the model is verified using effective oilfield examples.
文摘The synchronous virtual machine uses inverter power to imitate the performance of the conventional synchronous machine. It also has the same inertia, damping, frequency, voltage regulation, and other external performance as the generator. It is the key technology to realize new energy grid connections’stable and reliable operation. This project studies a dynamic simulation model of an extensive new energy power system based on the virtual synchronous motor.A new energy storage method is proposed. The mathematical energy storage model is established by combining the fixed rotor model of a synchronous virtual machine with the charge-discharge power, state of charge, operation efficiency, dead zone, and inverter constraint. The rapid conversion of energy storage devices absorbs the excess instantaneous kinetic energy caused by interference. The branch transient of the critical cut set in the system can be confined to a limited area. Thus, the virtual synchronizer’s kinetic and potential energy can be efficiently converted into an instantaneous state. The simulation of power system analysis software package(PSASP)verifies the correctness of the theory and algorithm in this paper. This paper provides a theoretical basis for improving the transient stability of new energy-connected power grids.
文摘This case report investigates the manifestation of cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) through recurrent Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIAs) in an 82-year-old patient. The conclusion stresses the importance of incorporating SWI sequences, specifically when suspecting a cardioembolic TIA, as a diagnostic measure to explore and exclude CAA in the differential diagnosis. This case report provides valuable insights into these challenges, highlighting the need to consider CAA in relevant cases.

文摘Transient Rayleigh wave detection is a high-precision nondestructive detection method. At present,it has been widely used in shallow exploration, but rarely used in tunnel lining quality detection.Through the tunnel lining physical model experiment, the layout defects of the double-layer reinforcement lining area were detected and the Rayleigh wave velocity profile and dispersion curve were analyzed after data process-ing,which finally verified the feasibility and accuracy of Rayleigh wave method in detecting the tunnel lining void area. The results show that the method is not affected by the reinforcement inside the lining, the shallow detection is less disturbed and the accuracy is higher, and the data will fluctuate slightly with the deepening of the detection depth. At the same time, this method responds quite accurately to the thickness of the concrete, allowing for the assessment of the tunnel lining’s lack of compactness. This method has high efficiency, good reliability, and simple data processing, and is suitable for nondestructive detection of internal defects of tun-nel lining structure.
文摘The dual transmitter implements the equivalent anti-magnetic flux transient electromagnetic method, which can effectively reduce the scope of the transient electromagnetic detection blind area. The above research results are of great significance for improving the detection accuracy of the underground transient electromagnetic method.

文摘Severe well interference through complex fracture networks(CFNs)can be observed among multi-well pads in low permeability reservoirs. The well interference analysis between multi-fractured horizontal wells(MFHWs)is vitally important for reservoir effective development.Well interference has been historically investigated by pressure transient analysis, while it has shown that rate transient analysis has great potential in well interference diagnosis. However, the impact of complex fracture networks(CFNs)on rate transient behavior of parent well and child well in unconventional reservoirs is still not clear. To further investigate, this paper develops an integrated approach combining pressure and rate transient analysis for well interference diagnosis considering CFNs.To perform multi-well simulation considering CFNs,non-intrusive embedded discrete fracture model approach was applied for coupling fracture with reservoir models. The impact of CFN including natural fractures and frac-hits on pressure and rate transient behavior in multi-well system was investigated. On a logelog plot, interference flow and compound linear flow are two new flow regimes caused by nearby producers. When both NFs and frac-hits are present in the reservoir,frac-hits have a greater impact on well#1 which contains frac-hits,and NFs have greater impact on well#3 which does not have frac-hits.For all well producing circumstances,it might be challenging to see divergence during pseudosteady state flow brought on by frac-hits on the logelog plot.Besides, when NFs occur, reservoir depletion becomes noticeable in comparison to frac-hits in pressure distribution.Application of this integrated approach demonstrates that it works well to characterize the well interference among different multi-fractured horizontal wells in a well pad.Better reservoir evaluation can be acquired based on the new features observed in the novel model, demonstrating the practicability of the proposed approach. The findings of this study can help for better evaluating well interference degree in multi-well systems combing PTA and RTA,which can reduce the uncertainty and improve the accuracy of the well interference analysis based on both field pressure and rate data.

文摘The single event transient(SET)effect in nanotube tunneling field-effect transistor with bias-induced electron–hole bilayer(EHBNT-TFET)is investigated by 3-D TCAD simulation for the first time. The effects of linear energy transfer(LET),characteristic radius, strike angle, electrode bias and hit location on SET response are evaluated in detail. The simulation results show that the peak value of transient drain current is up to 0.08 m A for heavy ion irradiation with characteristic radius of 50 nm and LET of 10 Me V·cm^(2)/mg,which is much higher than the on-state current of EHBNTTFET.The SET response of EHBNT-TFET presents an obvious dependence on LET,strike angle, drain bias and hit location. As LET increases from 2 Me V·cm^(2)/mg to 10 Me V·cm^(2)/mg,the peak drain current increases monotonically from 0.015 mA to 0.08 mA.The strike angle has an greater impact on peak drain current especially for the smaller characteristic radius. The peak drain current and collected charge increase by 0.014 mA and 0.06 fC,respectively,as the drain bias increases from 0.1 V to 0.9 V.Whether from the horizontal or the vertical direction, the most sensitive hit location is related to wt.The underlying physical mechanism is explored and discussed.

文摘BACKGROUND Members of the transient receptor potential(TRP)protein family shape oncogenic development, but the specific relevance of TRP-related genes in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)has yet to be defined.AIM To investigate the role of TRP genes in HCC,their association with HCC development and treatment was examined.METHODS HCC patient gene expression and clinical data were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas database, and univariate and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator Cox regression models were employed to explore the TRP-related risk spectrum.Based on these analyses, clinically relevant TRP family genes were selected, and the association between the key TRP canonical type 1(TRPC1)gene and HCC patient prognosis was evaluated.RESULTS In total,28 TRP family genes were screened for clinical relevance, with multivariate analyses ultimately revealing three of these genes(TRPC1,TRP cation channel subfamily M member 2,and TRP cation channel subfamily M member 6)to be significantly associated with HCC patient prognosis(P<0.05).These genes were utilized to establish a TRP-related risk model.Patients were separated into low-and high-risk groups based on the expression of these genes, and high-risk patients exhibited a significantly poorer prognosis(P=0.001).Functional analyses highlighted pronounced differences in the immune status of patients in these two groups and associated enriched immune pathways.TRPC1 was identified as a candidate gene in this family worthy of further study, with HCC patients expressing higher TRPC1 levels exhibiting poorer survival outcomes.Consistently, quantitative, immunohistochemistry, and western blot analyses revealed increased TRPC1 expression in HCC.CONCLUSION These three TRP genes help determine HCC patient prognosis, providing insight into tumor immune status and immunological composition. These findings will help design combination therapies including immunotherapeutic and anti-TRP agents.

文摘The inflammato ry response plays an important role in neuroprotection and regeneration after ischemic insult. The use of non-ste roidal anti-inflammatory drugs has been a matter of debate as to whether they have beneficial or detrimental effects. In this context, the effects of the anti-inflammatory agent meloxicam have been scarcely documented after stro ke,but its ability to inhibit both cyclooxygenase isoforms(1 and 2) could be a promising strategy to modulate postischemic inflammation. This study analyzed the effect of meloxicam in a transient focal cerebral ischemia model in rats, measuring its neuroprotective effect after 48 hours and 7 days of reperfusion and the effects of the treatment on the glial scar and regenerative events such as the generation of new progenitors in the subventricular zone and axonal sprouting at the edge of the damaged area.We show that meloxicam’s neuroprotective effects remained after 7 days of reperfusion even if its administration was restricted to the two first days after ischemia. Moreover, meloxicam treatment modulated glial scar reactivity, which matched with an increase in axonal sprouting. However, this treatment decreased the formation of neuronal progenitor cells. This study discusses the dual role of anti-inflammatory treatments after stro ke and encourages the careful analysis of both the neuroprotective and the regenerative effects in preclinical studies.

文摘Rate-transient analysis(RTA)has been widely applied to extract estimates of reservoir/hydraulic fracture properties. However, the majority of RTA techniques can lead to misdiagnosis of reservoir/fracture information when the reservoir exhibits reservoir heterogeneity and multiphase flow simultaneously. This work proposes a practical-yet-rigorous method to decouple the effects of reservoir heterogeneity and multiphase flow during TLF,and improve the evaluation of reservoir/fracture properties.A new,general,semi-analytical model is proposed that explicitly accounts for multiphase flow, fractalbased reservoir heterogeneity, anomalous diffusion, and pressure-dependent fluid properties. This is achieved by introducing a new Boltzmann-type transformation, the exponent of which includes reservoir heterogeneity and anomalous diffusion. In order to decouple the effects of reservoir heterogeneity and multiphase flow during TLF,the modified Boltzmann variable allows the conversion of three partial differential equations(PDE's)(i.e.,oil,gas and water diffusion equations)into ordinary differential equations(ODE's)that are easily solved using the Runge-Kutta(RK)method.A modified time-power-law plot is also proposed to estimate the reservoir and fracture properties, recognizing that the classical square-root-of-time-plot is no longer valid when various reservoir complexities are exhibited simultaneously.Using the slope of the straight line on the modified time-power-law plot, the linear flow parameter can be estimated with more confidence. Moreover, because of the new Boltzmann-type transformation, reservoir and fracture properties can be derived more efficiently without the need for defining complex pseudo-variable transformations.Using the new semi-analytical model, the effects of multiphase flow, reservoir heterogeneity and anomalous diffusion on rate-decline behavior are evaluated. For the case of approximately constant flowing pressure, multiphase flow impacts initial oil rate, which is a function of oil relative permeability and well flowing pressure. However, multiphase flow has a minor effect on the oil production decline exponent.Reservoir heterogeneity/anomalous diffusion affect both the initial oil production rate and production decline exponent. The production decline exponent constant is a function of reservoir heterogeneity/anomalous diffusion only. The practical significance of this work is the advancement of RTA techniques to allow for more complex reservoir scenarios, leading to more accurate production forecasting and better-informed capital planning.

文摘The transient receptor potential melastatin 2 is a calcium-permeable cation channel member of the TRP family. As a perspective point, this review shows evidence that supports transient receptor potential melastatin 2 as a pharmacological target for Parkinson's disease in the future.
文摘Hydrogels with their time-dependent intrinsic behaviors have recently been used widely in soft structures as sensors/actuators.One of the most interesting structures is the bilayer made up of hydrogels which may undergo swelling-induced bending. In this work,by proposing a semi-analytical method, the transient bending of hydrogel-based bilayers is investigated.Utilizing nonlinear solid mechanics,a robust semi-analytical solution is developed which captures the transient finite bending of hydrogel-based bilayers. Moreover, the multiphysics model of the hydrogels is implemented in the finite element method(FEM) framework to verify the developed semi-analytical procedure results. The effects of different material properties are investigated to illustrate the nonlinear behavior of these structures. The von-Mises stress contour extracted from FEM shows that the critical area of these soft structures is at the interface of the layers which experiences the maximum stress, and this area is most likely to rupture in large deformations.

文摘Understanding the integrated transport behavior of oil in shale nanopores is critical to efficient shale oil development. The results indicate that the proposed model can accurately describe oil transport in shale nanopores.

文摘Transient deformation, such as post-seismic slip, slow slip and pre-seismic slip events,is a limited lowfrequency deformation that can last for hours to months,in contrast to a sudden slip on a fault caused by earthquakes.Continuous Global Positioning System(CGPS),one of the most common geodetic techniques for continuously monitoring crustal deformation,is capable of capturing transient deformation signals.A critical point in characterizing transient deformation signals is the development of extracting and deciphering transient deformation signals from a huge and messy data set of position time series.Principal Component Analysis(PCA),one of the data-driven methods, has been employed to derive transient deformation signals from position time series combing with Kalman filtering.Independent Component Analysis(ICA)performs well in recovering and separating the sources of observed data, however,it is rarely used in extracting transient deformation signals. We aim to decompose the transient deformation signals from the daily GPS observation deployed in Akutan Island from 2007 to 2015 with the ICA method and obtain the spatiotemporal responses to the source signals of transient deformation. Our results indicate that ICA method can also characterize effectively transient deformation signals spatially and temporally.Additionally, the independent relationship between sources obtained by ICA allows for flexibility in linearly combining different sources.
文摘Nanoparticles with non-spherical shapes are now being widely used for various photonic applications. We observe experimentally that the magnitude as well as the time dependence of the transient absorption of a colloid of silver nanoplatelets depends on the relative polarization of the pump and probe pulses. There have been a few reports about the dependence of the transient signal magnitude on polarization, but little information is available on its temporal dependence.Using a theoretical model,we show that this observed behavior arises from the fact that the energy absorption by a non-spherical nanoparticle depends on,among other factors, the nanoparticle orientation with respect to the pump and probe polarization directions. It is essential to consider this when estimating nanoparticle characteristics such as carrier thermalization time, carrier–phonon scattering time, and complex polarizability from transient absorption measurements.
