The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers....The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities.展开更多

Background:University students’ego-identity,an essential component of their psychological development and mental health,has widely attracted the attention of policymakers,schools,and parents.Method:A total of 298 Chi...Background:University students’ego-identity,an essential component of their psychological development and mental health,has widely attracted the attention of policymakers,schools,and parents.Method:A total of 298 Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates were recruited,and a conditional process analysis model was adopted to explore the interaction mechanism of ego-identity.Results:The results suggest that the ego-identity of Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates is significantly affected by interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence.(1)Interaction anxiousness significantly and positively predicts ego-identity.(2)Academic resilience positively and partially mediates the effect of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity.(3)Cultural intelligence significantly and positively moderates the relationship between interaction anxiousness and ego-identity.However,a similar moderating effect was not found between interaction anxiousness and academic resilience.(4)As cultural intelligence increases,the negative influence of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity gradually diminishes,whatever the cultural intelligence level.Conclusions:Interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence are essential determinants of ego-identity among Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates.Strategic interventions should be utilized to enhance their abilities to alleviate interpersonal tensions,promote their resilience in facing academic difficulties,cope with diverse cultures,and boost their sense of self-confirmation.展开更多

文摘Background:University students’ego-identity,an essential component of their psychological development and mental health,has widely attracted the attention of policymakers,schools,and parents.Method:A total of 298 Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates were recruited,and a conditional process analysis model was adopted to explore the interaction mechanism of ego-identity.Results:The results suggest that the ego-identity of Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates is significantly affected by interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence.(1)Interaction anxiousness significantly and positively predicts ego-identity.(2)Academic resilience positively and partially mediates the effect of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity.(3)Cultural intelligence significantly and positively moderates the relationship between interaction anxiousness and ego-identity.However,a similar moderating effect was not found between interaction anxiousness and academic resilience.(4)As cultural intelligence increases,the negative influence of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity gradually diminishes,whatever the cultural intelligence level.Conclusions:Interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence are essential determinants of ego-identity among Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates.Strategic interventions should be utilized to enhance their abilities to alleviate interpersonal tensions,promote their resilience in facing academic difficulties,cope with diverse cultures,and boost their sense of self-confirmation.

文摘At present,the lack of Chinese culture in higher vocational English teaching in southern Xinjiang is serious.The existing English curriculum system is not enough to support the goal of cultivating ethnic minority college students cultural confidence,and its curriculum ideological and political construction is still in the initial stage of exploration.The combination of the Chinese national culture and the ethnic culture of Xinjiang and the ideological and political elements organically integrated into cultural confidence have endowed the vocational English education in Xinjiang with the characteristics of the times.In this paper,from the perspective of China s"cultural confidence",ideological and political elements were explored,and the background of ideological and political construction in higher vocational English teaching course in southern Xinjiang was analyzed;it is expounded that the ideological and political construction is an inevitable requirement for the high-quality development of vocational English education in southern Xinjiang,and the content design and implementation path of higher vocational English course was explored to provide new ideas and new ways for the curriculum ideological and political construction of higher vocational English teaching in southern Xinjiang.
文摘Vocational education can effectively improve the vocational skills of employees,improve people’s traditional concept of vocational education,and focus on the training of vocational skills for students by using new educational methods and concepts,so that they can master key vocational skills and develop key abilities.In this paper,three different learning models,Deep Knowledge Tracing(DKT),Dynamic Key-Value Memory Networks(DKVMN)and Double Deep Q-network(DDQN),are used to evaluate the indicators in the vocational education system.On the one hand,the influence of learning degree on the performance of the model is compared,on the other hand,the performance evaluation of three models under the same learning effect is compared,so as to obtain the best learning model applied to the field of skill training.In order to accurately evaluate the learning status of students,the loss function curves under three models are compared.Finally,the error rate of students in vocational skills education tends to be zero,and the learning process of intensive learning effectively improves students’mastery of skills and key abilities.
文摘This research investigates the impact of internships on skill acquisition among nursing students in vocational colleges in Shandong Province.By employing a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews,the study re-veals the positive influence of internships on students’clinical competencies,professional qualities,and readiness for the workforce.Survey findings indicate heightened practical capabilities and increased confidence among students.Interviews emphasize the pivotal role of mentors in guiding skills development and professional growth.However,challenges such as resource constraints and workload imbalances during internships are also highlighted.These insights contribute to the en-hancement of nursing education and the preparation of competent nursing professionals in the region.
文摘This paper proposed an innovative teaching approach based on finite element technique(FET)to improve the understanding of material mechanics.A teaching experiment was conducted using pure bending deformation of a beam as an example,and the deformation and stress distribution of the beam were analyzed using FET.The results showed that using color stress nephograms and color U nephograms can improve students’learning outcomes in mechanics classroom.The high levels of satisfaction and interest in incorporating new techniques into the classroom suggest that there is a need to explore and develop innovative teaching methods in mechanics and related fields.This approach may inspire educators to develop more effective ways of teaching material mechanics,and our research can contribute to the advancement of mechanics education.

文摘Engineering mechanics is as a basic course,and the learning effect of this course directly affects the learning of subsequent professional courses.However,the teaching quality of engineering mechanics in vocational colleges has been subpar for a long time.In this study,we explored the teaching situation of engineering mechanics by using questionnaires,pointing out the challenges faced in the teaching of engineering mechanics and putting forward four targeted suggestions,which include stimulating students’interest and increasing the investment in laboratory equipment,to improve the teaching quality.The findings of this study may provide some reference for the teaching reform of engineering mechanics.

文摘This study investigates the challenges encountered by vocational colleges when preparing for innovative skills competitions and proposes effective countermeasures.It highlights issues concerning students’motivation,limited financial resources and hardware,teacher capacity limitations,inadequate reward systems,and curriculum misalignment.Through meticulous research and analysis,this paper presents practical recommendations to mitigate these challenges.Suggestions encompass strategies to enhance students’motivation,increase financial support,provide professional development opportunities for teachers,revamp the reward system,and align the curriculum with competition requirements.By implementing these measures,vocational colleges can cultivate active student participation,elevate teaching quality,bridge the gap between education and industry demands,and equip students for success in innovative skills competitions.
文摘To improve physical education in vocational colleges,a hybrid teaching model should be developed,taking into account local conditions,gradual progress,and deep integration.The process includes resetting teaching goals,optimizing teaching content,adjusting teaching segments,and improving teaching evaluation.Teachers can use video resources to interact with students before class,set up different student display projects during the course,encourage group cooperation and inter-group assessment,conduct in-class tests and knowledge competitions to reinforce students’sports skills,and suggest appropriate after-class activities.An online and offline self-study model can also motivate students to participate in sports.
