The sewage discharged from the mass production of beer poses a huge threat to the environment. In order to evaluate and better solve the possible environmental impacts of beer treatment engineering projects, a brewery project in Foshan City is taken as an example to investigate the water pollution generation links of the engineering process including surface water and groundwater. According to the relevant technical methods and standards, water pollution factors are screened, and concentration and discharge are monitored. Through comprehensive analysis, predictive evaluation is obtained. It is confirmed that the project meets the requirements of national laws and regulations and environmental protection standards.展开更多

This paper concentrates on residents’ satisfaction of water environment management in Jinan section of Xiaoqing River, using questionnaires to find out the problems and effects of Xiaoqing River management. Based on the correlation analysis of the questionnaire data, the results show that five factors including the impact of water pollution, understanding of Xiaoqing River governance, willingness to participate in Xiaoqing River governance, policy publicity, and government regulation have a positive impact on the satisfaction of Xiaoqing River water environment governance. Finally, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to increase residents’ satisfaction from five aspects, such as increasing publicity efforts, paying attention to the cultivation of public participation consciousness, etc.展开更多

The analysis shows that carrying capacity of surface water environment in the study area is not good, carrying capacity of 3 studied waters for TP, BOD_5 and COD is approaching to the limit. New Zhengdong District, in terms of industrial structure, should promote the projects with less water consumption, less or no discharge of wastewater, and also should enhance the sewage treatment, improve recycling rate of the reclaimed water, and reduce the negative impact of sewage and pollutant discharge on environment.展开更多

The results showed that the 95×10 8m 3 water diversion scheme will cause less erosion and water level decrease than the 15×10 8m 3 water diversion scheme. Using a water diversion scheme of 95×10 8m 3, the decrease of water quantity can impact the river hydrodynamic regime substantially and the environments of the middle and lower reaches of the Hanjiang River will be greatly affected. It is therefore necessary to develop new water resources or build projects to meet the need of the environment and the needs for navigation.展开更多

The temporal-spatial changes of water environment led to the decreasing of land capacity and river disconnecting. The status of water environmental degradation in this paper was analyzed based on the data and field investigation. The results indicated that the surface water area in the region has obviously decreased owing to the climate changes and human irrational use of water resources and the continuous lowering of the regional groundwater table and the steadily decreasing tendency of the flow rate in the source areas of the Yellow River.展开更多

The equilibrium of the water quantity of the two lakes is maladjustment under the condition of a dry and cold climate in which evaporation is greater than precipitation. The Zhaling and Eling lakes have been atrophying, leaving three lake terraces and star studded lagoons around the two lakes since Holocene. When these lagoons were separated from the original lakes, they became cut lake basins, and were transformed from fresh water lakes into salt water lakes, salt lakes or salt playas owing to strong evaporation. This kind of evolutionary process will continue in the future.展开更多

文摘In this paper, according to the rule of unbalanced sediment transport and the analysis of field data, different water diversion schemes were theoretically studied, including the erosion and sedimentation trend as well as their impacts on the environment of the middle and lower reaches of the Hanjiang River. It is therefore necessary to develop new water resources or build projects to meet the need of the environment and the needs for navigation.

文摘Laser paint removal in a water environment does not diffuse ablation pollution products into air.Characteristics of water, such as high specific heat and heat flux, generate different effects of the laser paint removal than in an air environment. In this study, the effects of air and water environments on the mechanism and effect of laser paint removal are analyzed and compared experimentally and theoretically. In air, thermodynamic ablation causes removal of paint, whereas in water, stress coupled with plasma shock waves cause tear and splash removal of paint layers after fracture and damage.Fracture and pressure thresholds of the paint and substrate, respectively, indicate the optimum energy density range for laser paint removal in water, providing a reference for engineering applications.
文摘The issue on water environmental degradation in the source area of the Yellow River has been one of very serious ecological and socially economic problems. The temporal-spatial changes of water environment led to the decreasing of land capacity and river disconnecting. The status of water environmental degradation in this paper was analyzed based on the data and field investigation. The results indicated that the surface water area in the region has obviously decreased owing to the climate changes and human irrational use of water resources and the continuous lowering of the regional groundwater table and the steadily decreasing tendency of the flow rate in the source areas of the Yellow River.
文摘Conditions of the water environment in the region of the Zhaling and Eling lakes, which are located in the frozen earth zone on the Qingzang plateau, are unique. This kind of evolutionary process will continue in the future.
文摘Water environment has its unique charm as a part of traditional settlement space. This paper took water environment in Zhangguying Village, Yueyang City, Hunan Province for example, analyzed dot, linear and planar elements of village water environment, and water environment in courtyards[1], and tried to put forward valuable suggestions for the waterscape design of modern residential areas.
文摘1. PREFACE Lingdingyang is a trumpet estuary. It accepts the runoff of the Dongjiang River, the Beijiang River, the Zhengjiang River and the Liusihe River. It also accepts a part of the runoff of the Xijiang River. Its mean year runoff is 1.742×10" M^3. In resent ten years, industry and agriculture are developing rapidly in Guangzhou City, Dongguan City, Zhongshan City, Shunde County, Panyu County. Lingdingyang’s pollution is increesing. Water quality of lingdingyang is steadily deteriorated. In order to investigate the situation of water environment of Lingdingyang, we study its static environmental capacity of nitrogen and phosphorus. LANDSAT imageries are used in the study. The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorous is detected by convention method.

文摘Town Planning Board of Zhaoqing passed the Planning and Design of Xiawan Urban Wetland Park in Zhaoqing City in 2012,and Xiawan Reservoir, located at the junction of Duanzhou District and Dinghu District, would be built into a wetland park at that time.To understand water quality status near the wetland park, according to relevant requirements of the Technical Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment:Surface Water Environment(HJ/T 2.3-93),the Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water(GB 3838-2002),and the Technical Specification for Environmental Monitoring issued by the State Environmental Protection Administration,Xiawan Reservoir,Houlichong and the Xijiang River were investigated, monitored and evaluated.

文摘As a new way of governance, deliberative democracy has an inherent compatibility with river basin water environment governance.Consultative governance of river basin water environment is an important way to build an ecological civilization in the river basin. It involves three different levels of government-level democratic coordination,government-enterprise-society consultation and cooperation, and independent consultation between citizens and their governance mechanisms. To realize the consultative governance of river basin water environment, the concept and system construction of consultative governance should be incorporated into the system and mechanism construction of river basin water environment administration.
