In this paper, we quantified land landscape change of Yulin in this area between 1985 and 2000 using remote sensing and GIS. It was found that fallow landscape decreased by 125,148 hm2 while grassland and woodland increased by 107,975 hm2 and 17,157 hm2, respectively. The major factors responsible for these changes are identified as the change in the government policy on preserving the environment, continued growth in mining, and urbanization. The efforts in restoring the deteriorated ecosystem have reaped certain benefits in reducing the spatial extent of sandy land through replacement by non-irrigated farmland, woodland and grassland. On the other hand, continued expansion of mining industry and urbanization has exerted adverse impacts on the land landscape. At present regional economic development conflicts directly with the protection of the natural environment. Such a conflict has caused the destruction to the land resources and fragmentation of the landscape accompanied by land desertification, the case is even serious in some localities.展开更多

To discuss the spatial-temporal dynamics of SOC in arable layer in reversed desertification area, a case study was conducted in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, China. Data of SOC were based on general soil survey in 1982 and repeated soil sampling in 2003. Soil organic carbon content (SOCC) was determined by K2Cr3O7-FeSO4 titration method, and soil organic carbon density (SOCD) was calculated by arithmetic average and area weighted average method, respectively. On average, SOCC and SOCD of the arable layer in the study area from 1982 to 2003 had increased 0.51g/kg and 0.16kg/m2, respectively. Considering main soil types, the widest distributed Arid-Sandic Entisols had lowest values and increments of SOCC and SOCD during the study period; while the second widest Los-Orthic Entisols had higher values and increments of SOCC and SOCD, compared to the mean values of the whole region. The results indicated that reversed desertification process was due to the modification of land use and management practices, such as natural vegetation recovery, planting grass, turning arable land to grassland, and soil and water conservation etc., which can improve SOCC and SOCD and thus enhance soil C sequestration.展开更多

The main conclusions are as follows. There is growing tendency of water resources overloading. According to the result of model simulation,by2015,the overload rate of population size will be 1. 04. By 2020,the overload rate of population size will grow up to 1. 08. The oversized population mainly comes from cities and towns. The overload rate for cities and towns in 2015 and 2020 is 1. 89 and 1. 73,respectively. With the expansion of cities and industries, suburban areas could have a great potential for carrying population, because lots of suburban people may move to cities and towns according to prediction. In view of the above-mentioned facts, the population size should be controlled in a reasonable range.展开更多

文摘To figure out the disease occurrence of landscape plants in the main urban area of Lu'an City, the author investigated the disease occurrence of landscape plants in park green space, residential green space, unit attached green space and main road in the area under administration. The survey results showed that there were 29 species of urban landscape plant diseases, mainly powdery mildew and spot diseases.According to the characteristics of the diseases, the causes and problems of the diseases were analyzed, and the corresponding prevention and control measures were put forward.
文摘In the history, the main roles of inland rivers in Beilun Port City of Ningbo were desalination, blocking tides, shipping, and flood control. Nowadays, with the continuous spread and deepening ofurbanization, the ecological environment of river courses has been destroyed. In the past, remediationmeasures based on engineering and technology played a certain role, but can not “cure the root cause”. Itshould respect the historical evolution process of river courses, and highlight the ecological service functionand leisure tourism value of river courses from the coordination perspective of urban and rural ecologicalenvironment, economic industries, society and culture in the planning ideas of ecology, production, andlife integration. Four aspects of the measures are as below: protecting and repairing the ecological matrixof river courses;building green space system and maintaining flood control functions through the waternetwork;protecting cultural heritage along the rivers;developing waterfront leisure tourism scenic area.

文摘Promoting the coupling coordination development of port and its hinterland city environments is an important way to improve urban economic competitiveness.Based on relevant data of 13 coastal port cities in eastern China from 2000 to 2018,this study explores the coupling coordination development of port and city environments and its impact on urban economic competitiveness by constructing the coupling coordination degree model and the panel threshold model. The research results show that:(1)In terms of the coupling coordination development of port and city environments, most coastal ports and their hinterland cities are in a state of moderate or serious disorder.Overall, the degree of coupling coordination of port and city environments needs to be further improved;(2)The coupling coordination degree of port and city environments has a significant impact on urban economic competitiveness, and this effect gradually increases with the development of the ports and the urban economy.Among the variables that impact the urban economic competitiveness, fixed assets investment and foreign trade are significant factors that can enhance urban economic competitiveness.(3)At present, there is a“U-shaped”relationship between the coupling coordination degree of port-city environments and the urban economic competitiveness. This relationship lies on the right side of the inflection point of the“U-shaped”curve.Therefore,following the concept of assigning priority to ecological development, expanding fixed assets investment and actively developing foreign trade can further enhance the urban economic competitiveness.

文摘Under the influence of anthropogenic and climate change, the problems caused by urban heat island(UHI)has become increasingly prominent. In order to promote urban sustainable development and improve the quality of human settlements,it is significant for exploring the evolution characteristics of urban thermal environment and analyzing its driving forces.Taking the Landsat series images as the basic data sources, the winter land surface temperature(LST)of the rapid urbanization area of Fuzhou City in China was quantitatively retrieved from 2001 to 2021.Combing comprehensively the standard deviation ellipse model, profile analysis and GeoDetector model, the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the winter urban thermal environment were systematically analyzed. The results showed that the winter LST presented an increasing trend in the study area during 2001–2021,and the winter LST of the central urban regions was significantly higher than the suburbs. There was a strong UHI effect from 2001 to 2021with an expansion trend from the central urban regions to the suburbs and coastal areas in space scale. The LST of green lands and wetlands are significantly lower than croplands, artificial surface and unvegetated lands.Vegetation and water bodies had a significant mitigation effect on UHI,especially in the micro-scale.The winter UHI had been jointly driven by the underlying surface and socio-economic factors in a nonlinear or two-factor interactive enhancement mode, and socio-economic factors had played a leading role. This research could provide data support and decision-making references for rationally planning urban layout and promoting sustainable urban development.
文摘This article takes 2016-2022 as the inspection period to construct an evaluation index system for the green development level of the new energy vehicle industry. The entropy method and comprehensive index are used to measure the green development level of the new energy vehicle industry in Chongqing, and compared with neighboring provinces such as Yunnan,Guizhou, and Sichuan.Policy recommendations are proposed to promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry in Chongqing City.
文摘Mainstream media play a crucial role in constructing the cultural memory of a city. This study used 319 short videos released by“Hi Chengdu,”a new media product of Chengdu Radio and Television,as samples.Based on the grounded theory,a research framework encompassing“content, technology, and discourse”was established to explore the paths through which mainstream media construct the cultural memory.Regarding content, this paper emphasized temporal and spatial contexts and urban spaces, delving deep into the themes of the cultural memory and vehicles for it.In terms of technology, this paper discussed the practice of leveraging audio/visual-mode discourse to stitch together the impressions of a city and evoke emotional resonance to create a“flow”of memory. As for discourse, this paper looked at the performance of a communication ritual to frame concepts and shape urban identity. It is essential to break free from conventional thinking and leverage local culture as the primary driving force to further boost a city’s productivity,in order to excel in cultural communication.
文摘Taking Zhaoyu Historical City in Qixian County as an example, this paper explores the production process of tourism space in Zhaoyu Historical City in the context of consumption, based on Lefebvre's triadic dialectic theory. The study reveals that, driven by the development of tourism, subjects such as the government and planners possess absolute dominance over spatial representations, while residents demonstrate receptive and adaptive action strategies and social relations are reproduced, presenting a harmonious state.Further exploring the tourism community in the environmental performance of the subject of action, social relations, consumption demand, daily life practice, cultural capital, etc.,the daily life practice of the tourism community has transcended the original logic of tourism spatial production and has a certain extension. The mechanism analysis in this paper can help guide the healthy development of tourism space in the neighboring historical cities or communities and achieve the dual purpose of promoting the economic development of the community and heritage protection.
