Zero-carbon parks have broad prospects in carbon neutralization.As an energy hub,hydrogen energy storage plays an important role in zero-carbon parks.However,the nonlinear characteristics of hydrogen energy storage sy...Zero-carbon parks have broad prospects in carbon neutralization.As an energy hub,hydrogen energy storage plays an important role in zero-carbon parks.However,the nonlinear characteristics of hydrogen energy storage systems(HESSs)have a significant impact on the system economy.Therefore,considering the variable working condition characteristics of HESSs,a hybrid operation method is proposed for HESS,to support the efficient and economic operation of zero-carbon parks,By analyzing the operating principle of a zero-carbon park with HESS,the system structure framework and variable condition linearization model of the equipment in HESS are established.Moreover,considering the energy output characteristics of hydrogen energy storage equipment under variable working conditions,a multimodule hybrid operation strategy is proposed for electrolytic and fuel cells,effectively meeting the thermoelectric load demand of zero-carbon parks in different scenarios.Finally,the economy of the proposed hybrid operation strategy was verified in typical scenarios,using a zero-carbon park embedded with a HESS.展开更多
The insulation degradation in polymeric backsheets has been identified as a main cause of catastrophic accidents induced by short circuit or ground faults in photovoltaic module.To ensure quality,the photovoltaic indu...The insulation degradation in polymeric backsheets has been identified as a main cause of catastrophic accidents induced by short circuit or ground faults in photovoltaic module.To ensure quality,the photovoltaic industry is therefore faced with urgent demand in discovering degradation mechanisms.Moreover,the development of environmental-friendly backsheets and the establishment of backsheets recycling specifications are vital to fulfilling the requirements of a future reliable photovoltaic system with improved productivity.In this review,we innovatively summarize the detection methods of insulation deterioration from the viewpoints of spectroscopic,thermal and mechanical approaches.The corresponding ambient conditions in measurement and their accelerating effect on the degradation of photovoltaic backsheets are discussed.Subsequently,emerging novel materials and structures for enhancing insula-tion properties,antiaging performance and optical-electrical energy conversion efficiency of photovoltaic cell are summarized.It offers a comprehensive strategy to design materials with optimal structures in photovoltaic module for a future zero-carbon energy system.展开更多
The Chinese government's"dual carbon"commitment to carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in September 2020 indicates that China will promote green economy transition and achieve high-quality growth in lin...The Chinese government's"dual carbon"commitment to carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in September 2020 indicates that China will promote green economy transition and achieve high-quality growth in line with the New Development Concept.Definitely,both China's economic and financial development will undergo a paradigm shift.This paper reviews the evolution of global finance's role in supporting environmental governance,climate change and sustainable development,and proposes that the time has come to develop zero-carbon finance which should be closely aligned with the""netzero emissions"requirement for achieving the global temperature target of the Paris Agreement.While the current policy frameworks for zero-carbon finance in major Western countries are useful references,they also have limitations.In order to build a Chinese-style zero-carbon financial system,China should integrate the experience of other countries and leverage both institutional advantages and green finance practices of own to the fullest extent possible.This paper goes into further detail about the concept of building a zerocarbon financial macro-management framework and a composite ecology of the zerocarbon financial market,and puts forward policy recommendations.The Chinese-style zero-carbon finance solution will also contribute to global carbon neutrality by enabling China to achieve carbon neutrality as soon as possible and providing countries with China's solutionas reference.展开更多
