It showed soft magnetic characteristic gradually when Fe content in it was up to 8% . The material was applied to magnetic-electric sensor as key component, output signal of which was measured with the change of Fe content. It shows that the signal changes from weak to strong with the increase of Fe content and presents the largest peak value when Fe is replaced by Cu completely.展开更多

Experimental results show that at sufficiently low strain rates, the supercooled liquid of the fully amorphous alloy reveals Newtonian flow with a linear relationship between the flow stress and strain rate. As the strain rate is increased, a transition from linear Newtonian to nonlinear flow is detected, which can be explained by the transition state theory. Over the entire strain rate interval investigated, however, only nonlinear flow is present in the partially crystallized alloy, and the flow stress for each strain rate is much higher. It is found that the strain rate-stress relationship for the partially crystaltized alloy at the given temperature of 646 K also obeys the sinh law derived from the transition state theory, similar to that of the initial homogeneous amorphous alloy. Thus, it is proposed that the flow behavior of the nanocrystalline/amorphous composite at 646 K is mainly controlled by the viscous flow of the remaining supercooled liquid.展开更多

A small amount of β-Si3N4 formed at 1250℃ and increased slowly until the α- β transformation happened at 1700℃, whereas α-Si3N4 appeared at 1300℃ andincreased rapidly between 1500-1600℃. The formation of β phase at the lower temperature was caused by the nitridation of free Si due to the preexisted β-nuclei in the Si3N4 particles, whereasthe α phase was formed by solid crystallization from the amorphous matrix. There were α and β SiC formed at 1700℃ due to the presence of Sio and Co gases in the system. FTIR analysis shows that two new IR absorption at 1356 and 1420 cm-1, and an overall strong absorption in wide wavenumber range resulted from the powders annealed at 1600 and 1700℃ respectively展开更多

Methods\ The effects of annealing temperature, annealing time, heating rate, and the step wise annealing were measured by DSC. Results and Conclusion\ There exists a critical heating rate affecting the middle temperature melting peak. When annealed at the temperature close to the melting peak, the main melting peak of PA 6 shifted to a higher temperature. Within a short time, annealing time has much effect on neat PA 6 but little effect on PA 6 in the blends. Addition of PE results in a decreasing in the height of melting peak. These phenomenon show that the melting behavior of PA 6 was affected by PE, compatibilizer, as well as thermal treatment.展开更多

Raw samples produced by simultaneous sputter deposition from elemental Ni and Ti targets onto unheated Si (100) and Silica (111) substrates were used for annealing. Delicate treatment with 15.92 W/mm^2 power density resulted in crystallization of small spots; while 16.52 and 17.51 W/mm^2 power densities caused ablation of the amorphous layer. Optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy were performed to characterize the microstructure and surface morphology of the amorphous/crystallized spot patterns.展开更多
