The vertical position of plasma in the HT-7U Tokamak is inherently unstable. In order to realize active stabilization, the response rate of the high-power high-frequency amplifier feeding the active control coils must be fast enough. This paper analyzes the paralleling scheme of the power amplifier through two kinds of control mode. One is the synchronous control; the other is the asynchronous control. Via the comparison of the two kinds of control mode, both of their characteristics are given in the text. At last, the analyzed result is verified by a small power experiment. 展开更多

In this paper we address the issue of output-feedback robust control for a class of feedforward nonlinear systems.Essentially different from the related literature,the feedback/input signals are corrupted by additive noises and can only be transmitted intermittently due to the consideration of event-triggered communications,which bring new challenges to the control design.With the aid of matrix pencil based design procedures,regulating the output to near zero is globally solved by a non-conservative dynamic low-gain controller which requires only an a priori information on the upper-bound of the growth rate of nonlinearities.Theoretical analysis shows that the closed-loop system is input-to-state stable with respect to the sampled errors and additive noise.In particular,the observer and controller designs have a dual architecture with a single dynamic scaling parameter whose update law can be obtained by calculating the generalized eigenvalues of matrix pencils offline,which has an advantage in the sense of improving the system convergence rate. 展开更多

This paper investigates the recoil control of the deepwater drilling riser system with nonlinear tension force and energy-bounded friction force under the circumstances of limited network resources and unreliable communication.Different from the existing linearization modeling method,a triangle-based polytope modeling method is applied to the nonlinear riser system.Based on the polytope model,to improve resource utilization and accommodate random data loss and communication delay,an asynchronous gain-scheduled control strategy under a hybrid event-triggered scheme is proposed.An asynchronous linear parameter-varying system that blends input delay and impulsive update equation is presented to model the nonlinear networked recoil control system,where the asynchronous deviation bounds of scheduling parameters are calculated.Resorting to the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method,some solvable conditions of disturbance attenuation analysis and recoil control design are derived such that the resulting networked system is exponentially mean-square stable with prescribed H∞performance.The obtained numerical results verified that the proposed nonlinear networked control method can achieve a better recoil response of the riser system with less transmission data compared with the linear control method. 展开更多

This paper deals with the problem of non-fragile linear parameter-varying(LPV) H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching.The switched LPV model of morphing aircraft is established by Jacobian linearization approach according to the nonlinear model.The data missing is taken into account in the link from sensors to controllers and the link from controllers to actuators,which satisfies Bernoulli distribution.The non-fragile switched LPV controllers are constructed with consideration of the uncertainties of controllers and asynchronous switching phenomenon.The parameter-dependent Lyapunov functional method and mode-dependent average dwell time(MDADT) method are combined to guarantee the stability and prescribed performance of the system.The sufficient conditions on the solvability of the problem are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities(LMI).In order to achieve higher efficiency of the designing process,an algorithm is applied to divide the whole set into subsets automatically.Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the method in the paper. 展开更多

This paper proposes an 8 bit asynchronous successive approximation register ADC for wireless transceivers. A split capacitor DAC is used to reduce power and area consumption and the value of the split capacitor is calculated theoretically to ensure linearity. Asynchronous control logic is proposed to eliminate the high internal clocks and significantly speeds up the successive approximation algorithm. An on-chip reference with a fully integrated buffer and decoupling capacitor is adopted for avoiding an extra pin for the off-chip reference. The prototype, fabricated in UMC 0.18 um CMOS technology, achieves an effective number of bits of 7.64 bits at a sampling frequency of 12 MS/s. The total power consumption is 0.918 mW for a 1.8 V supply, while the onchip reference consumes 53% of the total power. It achieves a figure of merit of 180 fJ/conv-step, excluding the reference's power consumption. 展开更多

This paper proposes a single channel, 6-bit 230-MS/s asynchronous successive approximation register analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in an SMIC 65 nm CMOS technology. Through adopting the modified 2 bits/stage asynchronous control logic, the presented ADC actualizes a peak 40.90-dB spurious-free dynamic range and 29.05-dB signal-to-noise and distortion ratio at 230-MS/s sampling rate. Utilizing the dynamic comparator without the preamplifier, this work attains low-power design with only 0.93 mW power consumption and accomplishes a figure of merit of 174.67 fJ/step at 1 V supply voltage. 展开更多

In this paper,we present a new method for finding a fixed local-optimal policy for computing the customer lifetime value.The method is developed for a class of ergodic controllable finite Markov chains.We propose an approach based on a non-converging state-value function that fluctuates(increases and decreases) between states of the dynamic process.We prove that it is possible to represent that function in a recursive format using a one-step-ahead fixed-optimal policy.Then,we provide an analytical formula for the numerical realization of the fixed local-optimal strategy.We also present a second approach based on linear programming,to solve the same problem,that implement the c-variable method for making the problem computationally tractable.At the end,we show that these two approaches are related:after a finite number of iterations our proposed approach converges to same result as the linear programming method.We also present a non-traditional approach for ergodicity verification.The validity of the proposed methods is successfully demonstrated theoretically and,by simulated credit-card marketing experiments computing the customer lifetime value for both an optimization and a game theory approach. 展开更多
