Findings: We were able to find publications dating back to 1727. The largest number of publications and authors date to the late 19th century, and this peak might be explained by the role of Roman law in French legal education at the time. Furthermore, we found exceptionally skewed concentration of publications to authors, as well as of citations to publications. We speculate that this could be explained by the long time-frame of the study, and the importance of classic works. Research limitation: Major limitations, and potential future work, relate to data quality, and cleaning, disambiguation of publications and authors, as well as comparing coverage with other data sources. Practical implications: We find Google Scholar to be a promising data source for historical bibliometrics. This approach may help bridge the gap between bibliometrics and the "digital humanities".Originality/value: Earlier studies have focused mainly on Google Scholar's coverage of publications and citations in general, or in specific fields. The historical coverage has, however, received less attention.展开更多

文摘This study aims to explore how the topic of sustainability in Higher Education Institutions(HEI)has been addressed in the scientific literature. It presents a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1975 and 2019.After that, bibliometric and content analyses were performed in order to identify the behavior and evolution of the literature and identify the frequency with which they appear in the text, making it possible to raise replicable and valid inferences to the data. The results of this study indicate that the theme is emerging since the year 2010 and with a strong focus on qualitative studies, focused on critical theory. The results indicate that although studies involve the tripod environment, economy, and society, there is still a gap in studies that deal with specific issues to solve practical problems and that analyze the impacts from a more holistic perspective. The combination of methods made it possible to identify and interpret the articles in the selected sample, but based on results reported by other authors, with little room for quality control and integrity.

文摘To understand the research trends and areas of focus on the grassland degradation(GD),a bibliometric study based on the Science Citation Index-Expanded(SCI-E)was performed. This study presented a comprehensive overview of the field based on the annual papers, research areas, temporal trends in keywords, marked journals, institutions, and authors. In the SCI-E database,GD publications first appeared in1970.Thus,we chose the study period between 1970 and 2020.The results showed that the annual number of publications increased in exponential model, with an especially rapid increase after 2009.Dong S.K.,Wang S.P.,and Liu S.L.were the most competitive authors based on their large numbers of papers and citations.A keyword analysis indicated that“grazing, alpine grassland, soil carbon and nitrogen, plant diversity, vegetation restoration”was the most popular study area. The institution with the greatest research publications and most citations was the Chinese Academy of Sciences.Journal of Arid Environments was one of the most popular journals for researchers to publish their research and had greater influence in the field with larger citations than other journals.Environmental science and ecology, soil science, plant science, biodiversity protection, geoscience, and water resources were the most popular Web of Science research areas. The keywords knowledge map mainly divides into four clusters, which are“vegetation”,“soil carbon”,“climate change”,and“grazing”.The ten clusters of the author’s co-occurrence analysis showed that the research areas of GD mainly concentrate on alpine grassland of Qinghai Tibetan Plateau and temperate steppe of Inner Mongolia.Especially under global climate change and the increasing human activities, they were continually increasing close attention to the present. The research methods are mainly in the combination of micro and macro view, such as high-throughput sequencing of the microbial community, remote sensing, quantitative analysis of models, etc. The current international research frontiers are alpine meadow degradation and the assessment of ecosystem service in degraded grassland. To distinguish human activities and climate change to the GD rate is also a new research hotspot in recent years. As the first bibliometrics paper in GD,this paper presents an attempt to better understanding of the progress on GD research.
文摘Background:In order to provide some references and direction for further research on psychological intervention for breast cancer patients,we analyzed the breast cancer patients, learned its research status, and found out the existing problems. Methods:We retrieved relevant literatures on psychological intervention for breast cancer patients from databases such as CNKI,Wanfang data,VIP and CBM.Note Express 3.2 was used for bibliometric analysis. Results:A total of 60 articles were included. We found that the research institutions were mainly hospitals. There was a lack of attention to special breast cancer patients, efficacy comparison trials of different intervention and cooperation during institutions.Research design was not rigorous enough:lack of pertinence of populations, unclear and short intervention interval, low repeatability of research trials, low transparency of intervention, and defects in intervention quality control. Conclusion:Clinical trials on psychological intervention for breast cancer patients should pay more attention to special breast cancer populations.Researchers should correctly grasp related research trends, seek cooperation opportunities with other institutions, and improve the quality of their own research and ensure the innovation and scientificity of trial design.Meanwhile, researchers can further explore the psychological intervention methods for special breast cancer populations, and conduct comparative studies on the efficacy of different intervention measures.
文摘Objective:To summarize the recent 10 years of related literature on stem cell effect on aging and explore the research results and hot topics. Methods:Based on the core databaseof Web of Science, all relevant literature from January 1,2012,to December 31,2021,was screened, and CiteSpace 6.1.R2 software was used to show the intrinsic value of literature. The number of publications, research institutions, research countries,co-cited literature, and keywords was analyzed and visualized. Results:In the past 10 years, the total number of articles published showed an upward trend. The number of articles published by relevant countries was 3,911,and the United States had the most significant number of articles published and the highest centrality. The research institutions were mainly universities, supplemented by research centers, and the quality of articles published by famous foreign universities in this field was high. The most co-cited literature is“Naturally occurring p16(Ink4a)-positive cells shorten healthy lifespan”by Darren J Baker, which clarifies the feasibility of cell therapy for aging. The high-frequency keywords are stem cell, senescence, expression, etc.,and the most central ones are cancer cell, migration and DNA repair, etc. In addition, emergent words and clustering show that research hotspots are mainly in the aging mechanism. There are many research entry points, and the pathogenesis and development of senescence, therapeutic targets of ion channels in senescent cells, and their effects on exosomes are the main focus of current research. Conclusion:Literature through the analysis of 10 years of research literature summary suggests that stem cell function in aging still needs further study;the United States is in the leading position in this regard, and the research results also show that research institutions dominate in the developed countries,North America and Europe in the increasing number of papers at the same time, and China should pay attention to the quality of the post,in order to make more progress. The literature of some high-quality scholars can be used as a reference to expand our thinking. The aging mechanism still needs to be many follow-upstudies to clarify the pathway and target in the treatment of more refined Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related diseases need to delve into.Subsequent scholars should study the specific role of stem cells in treating aging;in recent years, hot words, such as exosomes, oxidative stress, etc.,can be used as the thinking of the follow-up study and contribute to the development of the field.
文摘Objective:To reflect the current situation and development level of the treatment of peri-menopausal insomnia,to provide ideas and basis for the treatment of peri-menopausal insomnia, and to lay a scientific foundation. Methods:The relevant literatures about peri-menopausal insomnia in the past 20 years from January 1,2000 to September 30,2020 were searched in full-text database, and the publication time distribution, periodical distribution and research types were statistically analyzed with the help of NoteExpress 4.2.0,Excel 2010 and UCINET 6.2 software.Bibliometrics and social network analysis were used to grasp the research status and research hotspots.Results:979 articles about insomnia in peri-menopausal period were included. The number of literatures showed an upward trend and decreased from 2018 to 2020.The top three journals are Inner Mongolia traditional Chinese Medicine,Guangming traditional Chinese Medicine and Sichuan traditional Chinese Medicine, with 30,25 and 22 articles respectively.A total of 1,846 authors participated in the publication. The top three authors were Hong Li(14,0.63%),Jun-Shan Huang(9,0.40%)and Ying Chen(9,0.40%).The social network map shows that“insomnia”,“peri-menopausal period”,“perimenopausal insomnia”,“peri-menopausal syndrome”,“traditional Chinese medicine therapy”and“acupuncture”are the research hotspots and have the strongest correlation. Conclusion:The number of articles about peri-menopausal insomnia shows a downward trend in recent years, and the“core author group”has not been formed. The clinical research in this field is relatively perfect, but a more complete theoretical system has not been formed yet. Most of the treatment of insomnia in peri-menopausal period is based on traditional Chinese medicine, which shows that traditional Chinese medicine is more effective in clinical use,and the curative effect of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine has been affirmed. However, there are relative deficiencies, such as the lack of strict experimental research and evaluation standards, the lack of unilateral prescription research, and so on.Future researchers should pay more attention to the experimental research of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peri-menopausal insomnia and unilateral empirical prescription research.

文摘Purpose: To comprehensively evaluate the overall performance of a group or an individual in both bibliometrics and patentometrics. Design/methodology/approach: Trace metrics were applied to the top 30 universities in the2014 Academic Ranking of World Universities(ARWU) — computer sciences, the top 30 ESI highly cited papers in the computer sciences field in 2014, as well as the top 30 assignees and the top 30 most cited patents in the National Bureau of Economic Research(NBER) computer hardware and software category.Findings: We found that, by applying trace metrics, the research or marketing impact efficiency, at both group and individual levels, was clearly observed. Furthermore, trace metrics were more sensitive to the different publication-citation distributions than the average citation and h-index were.Research limitations: Trace metrics considered publications with zero citations as negative contributions. One should clarify how he/she evaluates a zero-citation paper or patent before applying trace metrics.Practical implications: Decision makers could regularly examinine the performance of their university/company by applying trace metrics and adjust their policies accordingly.Originality/value: Trace metrics could be applied both in bibliometrics and patentometrics and provide a comprehensive view. Moreover, the high sensitivity and unique impact efficiency view provided by trace metrics can facilitate decision makers in examining and adjusting their policies.
