Methods Seventy-nine isolates of L. pneumophila were collected from environmental and clinical sources, including cooling towers, hot springs, bath water, fountains, and patients, and identified with 16 S rRNA gene analysis and serum agglutination assay. The isolates were then typed by Sequence-Based Typing(SBT), and Genotyping of forty-two LP1 strains were analyzed by means of multiple-locus VNTR analysis with 8 loci(MLVA-8). All strains were further analyzed for two virulence genes: Legionella vir homologue(lvh) and repeats in structural toxin(rtx A). The intracellular growth ability of 33 selected isolates was determined by examining their interaction with J774 cells. Results All isolates were identified to L. pneumophila including 11 serogroups, among which the main serogroup were LP1, accounting for 54.43%. Thirty-three different sequence types(STs) from five main clonal groups and five singletons were identified, along with 8 different MLVA patterns. Both the lvh and rtx A loci were found in all 79 strains. Thirty isolates showed high intracellular growth ability in J774 cells. Conclusion L. pneumophila is a potential threat to public health, and effective control and prevention strategies are urgently needed.展开更多

Methodology: A quasi-experimental study was carried out with a control group using basal and final measurements. The educative intervention of the experimental group included one in-the- classroom work and another at the consulting room. Instrument was validated by a panel of experts and consisted of 40 questions of five cases presenting problems, reaching a reliability index of 0.84. Results: There was no significant difference at base measurement among the different levels of clinical ability among groups (p = 0.82). At the end of the follow-up, a significant increase in the experimental group (29 with 20 - 23 vs 29 with 24 - 33 in the control group) was observed. Conclusions: The advantage observed at the different levels of the experimental group reflects the impact of the alternative educative program which needs to be a programmatic guide for future educative interventions for health workers seeking to transform their own clinical practice.展开更多

So it is necessary to discuss how to deal with the uncertainty of clinical thinking, which originates from the uncertainty of the objective world, social world and medicine knowledge, and can be seen all over clinical activities;Critical thinking which cautious about the interpretation and prediction of scientific theory is the best practice to explore the uncertainty. The essential purpose of medicine is rescuing people, So it is necessary and scientific to take “excluding life-threatening symptoms first” as the first principle of clinical thinking, which is also the primary method to deal with the uncertainty of clinical thinking;By the limited certainty of clinical thinking, procedural thinking is conducive to building a safer health system that is “easy to do right and difficult to do wrong”.展开更多

By the analysis of M-GTA, students concurrently performed “A: Analytically contemplating the state of this child’s body” and “B: Contextually contemplating this child’s?individuality”. As a result, they acquired “C: Understandingof this child as a familiar existence.” This allows students to enable them to “D: Identify the necessary approach using judgment criteria for this child.” Furthermore, as situations that promote thinking by relating to all processes of thinking, students experienced “E: Attempts to solve problems through various measures” and “F: Encouragement of thinking through reflection.” Meanwhile, “G: Stagnation of thinking because of concerning matters” inhibited the progress of thinking. We found a need for education after grasping the process of student thought.展开更多

It’s a topic that has piqued the interest of scholars in fields, including science and neuroscience. The study explores how music can influence our ability to think divergently which is an aspect of creative thinking. It builds upon advancements in methods to investigate the relationship between music and divergent thinking aiming to uncover potential correlations. Doing it offers insights into the interplay between artistic expression and cognitive innovation. This research combines an analysis of existing literature with data collected from a group of participants shedding light on how music impacts our capacity for creative thinking. It demonstrates that music plays a role as a catalyst, for stimulating and enhancing thinking abilities.展开更多

This study delves into the practice teaching system based on ability training implemented in normal universities, examining the application of this teaching model in teacher education and the potential challenges it may encounter. Our case study reveals that the Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach can effectively transform students from passive recipients of knowledge into active problem solvers, thereby enhancing their critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. However, challenges do exist, including ensuring active participation from all students, providing equal opportunities for each student to develop and showcase their abilities, and completing complex projects within a limited timeframe. Therefore, teachers may need to adjust their teaching strategies, and schools need to provide more resources and support. These adjustments can help the practice teaching system based on ability training better serve teacher education and offer students a higher-quality educational experience.展开更多
