Crown development is closely related to the biomass and growth rate of the tree and its width(CW)is an important covariable in growth and yield models and in forest management.To date,various CW models have been propo...Crown development is closely related to the biomass and growth rate of the tree and its width(CW)is an important covariable in growth and yield models and in forest management.To date,various CW models have been proposed.However,limited studies have explicitly focused on additive and inherent correlation of crown components and total CW as well as the influence of competition on crown radius from the corresponding direction.In this study,two model systems were used,i.e.,aggregation method system(AMS)and disaggregation method system(DMS),to develop crown width additive model systems.For calculating spatially explicit competition index(CI),four neighbor tree selection methods were evaluated.CI was decomposed into four cardinal directions and added into the model systems.Results show that the power model form was more proper for our data to fit CW growth.For each crown radius and total CW,height to the diameter at breast height(HDR)and basal area of trees larger than the subject tree(BAL)significantly contributed to the increase of prediction accuracy.The 3-m fixed radius was optimal among the four neighborhoods selection ways.After adding decomposed competition Hegyi index into model systems AMS and DMS,the prediction accuracy improved.Of the model systems evaluated,AMS based on decomposed CI provided the best performance as well as the inherent correlation and additivity properties.Our study highlighted the importance of decomposed CI in tree CW modelling for additive model systems.This study focused on methodology and could be applied to other species or stands.展开更多

A graphics-processing-unit(GPU)-parallel-based computational scheme is developed to realize the competitive growth process of converging bi-crystal in two-dimensional states in the presence of forced convection condit...A graphics-processing-unit(GPU)-parallel-based computational scheme is developed to realize the competitive growth process of converging bi-crystal in two-dimensional states in the presence of forced convection conditions by coupling a multi-phase field model and a lattice Boltzmann model.The elimination mechanism in the evolution process is analyzed for the three conformational schemes constituting converging bi-crystals under pure diffusion and forced convection conditions,respectively,expanding the research of the competitive growth of columnar dendrites under melt convection conditions.The results show that the elimination mechanism for the competitive growth of converging bi-crystals of all three configurations under pure diffusion conditions follows the conventional Walton-Chalmers model.When there is forced convection with lateral flow in the liquid phase,the anomalous elimination phenomenon of unfavorable dendrites eliminating favorable dendrites occurs in the grain boundaries.In particular,the anomalous elimination phenomenon is relatively strong in conformation 1 and conformation 2 when the orientation angle of unfavorable dendrites is small,and relatively weak in conformation 3.Moreover,the presence of convection increases the tip growth rate of both favorable and unfavorable dendrites in the grain boundary.In addition,the parallelization of the multi-phase-field-lattice Boltzmann model is achieved by designing the parallel computation of the model on the GPU platform concerning the computerunified-device-architecture parallel technique,and the results show that the parallel computation of this model based on the GPU has absolute advantages,and the parallel acceleration is more obvious as the computation area increases.展开更多

Previous research has shown that competition between plants can have differential effects on leaf stoichiometry and non-structural carbohydrate(NSC)in different environments.However,little attention has been given to ...Previous research has shown that competition between plants can have differential effects on leaf stoichiometry and non-structural carbohydrate(NSC)in different environments.However,little attention has been given to understanding these effects on non-photosynthetic organs,particularly of deciduous tree species.Here we assess the impact of competition on below and aboveground biomass,stoichiometry,nutrient composition and NSC in pure and mixed forests of two Larch species,Larix kaempferi and L.olgensis under nitrogen(N)addition.Nitrogen enrichment did not result in stronger intraspecific competition for both species and L.olgensis benefited from the presence of L.kaempferi under different N levels.Stems kept relatively stable C/N compared to roots and branches in response to competition,while N addition imposed stronger impacts on N/P of different organs rather than competition.In contrast to stable C concentrations,starch and soluble sugar concentrations were more easily impacted by competition and the addition of nitrogen.Competition forced L.kaempferi and L.olgensis to allocate more carbon into storage by increasing their starch concentration and starch/soluble sugar of stems under competition.However,no significant differences in stoichiometry and NSC concentration between intra-and interspecific competition were found.NSC and nutrient pools of L.kaempferi stems,branches and coarse roots consistently declined due to competition regardless of N addition.Coarse and fine roots of L.kaempferi accumulated more N when in competition with L.olgensis than with a conspecific neighbor under N addition.Our results show that NSC was more sensitive to competition relative to stoichiometric traits(N and P)of non-photosynthetic organs.展开更多

First of all, we defined the reliability of tele-network. According to the definition, we divide the whole reliability into two parts:the reliability of the mini-way and that of the whole system. Then we do algebra unintersection of the mini-way, deriving a function of reliability of tele-network. Also, we got a function of the cost of tele-network after analyzing the cost of arcs and points. Finally, we give a mathematical model to design a tele-network. For the algorithm, we define the distance of a network and adjacent area within certain boundaries . We present a new algorithm--Queue Competition Algorithm (QCA) based on the adjacent area . The QCA correlates sequence of fitnesses in their father-generations with hunting zone of mutation and the number of individuals generated by mutation, making the stronger fitness in a small zone converge at a local extreme value, but the weaker one takes the advantage of lots of individuals展开更多

文摘The model of“post-course competition certificate”can be the basic model of Building Information Modeling(BIM)course teaching in vocational colleges in the new era,and many vocational colleges have also made attempts to construct and apply this model in BIM courses and other professional courses.Based on the application of methods such as literature review and observation,it can be found that it is highly feasible in theory and practice to promote the innovation and reform of BIM curriculum based on this model.However,there are more influencing factors at the practical level,which can easily lead to some problems.In this paper,we will analyze the corresponding problems and put forward a more effective reform strategy of BIM course education innovation in combination with reality.

文摘Architectural Computer-Aided Design(CAD)is a basic course for architectural engineering majors in vocational colleges.The integration of competition into teaching will not only help stimulate the students’enthusiasm,but also help them improve their professional skills.However,there are still some problems in the teaching of Architectural CAD.Therefore,teachers must continuously optimize the integration of competition content into Architectural CAD classes through various strategies,so as to give full play to the value of competition content in classes.We explored and analyzed the problems in the integration of competition content into Architectural CAD classes,and proposed specific strategies,in hopes of improving the quality of Architectural CAD teaching.

文摘As a generalization of the scrambling index and the exponent,m-competition index has been widely applied to stochastic matrices,food webs and memoryless communication systems in recent years. For a positive integer m,where 1 ≤ m ≤ n,the mcompetition index( generalized competition index) of a primitive digraph D of order n is the smallest positive integer k such that for every pair of vertices x and y,there exist m distinct vertices v_1,v_2,…,v_m such that there exist walks of length k from x to v_i and from y to v_i for 1 ≤ i ≤ m. By analyzing the structure of θ-graphs( theta graphs) and using enumeration investigation methods,the mcompetition indices of primitive θ-graphs are studied and an upper bound is provided. Moreover, some corresponding extremal θ-graphs are characterized.

文摘Previous research has shown that competition between plants can have differential effects on leaf stoichiometry and non-structural carbohydrate(NSC)in different environments.However,little attention has been given to understanding these effects on non-photosynthetic organs,particularly of deciduous tree species.Here we assess the impact of competition on below and aboveground biomass,stoichiometry,nutrient composition and NSC in pure and mixed forests of two Larch species,Larix kaempferi and L.olgensis under nitrogen(N)addition.Nitrogen enrichment did not result in stronger intraspecific competition for both species and L.olgensis benefited from the presence of L.kaempferi under different N levels.Stems kept relatively stable C/N compared to roots and branches in response to competition,while N addition imposed stronger impacts on N/P of different organs rather than competition.In contrast to stable C concentrations,starch and soluble sugar concentrations were more easily impacted by competition and the addition of nitrogen.Competition forced L.kaempferi and L.olgensis to allocate more carbon into storage by increasing their starch concentration and starch/soluble sugar of stems under competition.However,no significant differences in stoichiometry and NSC concentration between intra-and interspecific competition were found.NSC and nutrient pools of L.kaempferi stems,branches and coarse roots consistently declined due to competition regardless of N addition.Coarse and fine roots of L.kaempferi accumulated more N when in competition with L.olgensis than with a conspecific neighbor under N addition.Our results show that NSC was more sensitive to competition relative to stoichiometric traits(N and P)of non-photosynthetic organs.

文摘Understanding the cooperation-competition dynamics is a long-standing challenge in studying complex systems.Inspired by the idea of Shannon entropy,we define competition information entropy and propose an entropy evolution model.The analytic results of the model of the relation between competition gain distribution parameters and entropy,as well as the relation between entropy and time are compared with empirical results obtained in 14 real world systems.They are found to be in good agreement with each other.

文摘In this paper, we report research on how to design the tele-network. First of all, we defined the reliability of tele-network. According to the definition, we divide the whole reliability into two parts:the reliability of the mini-way and that of the whole system. Then we do algebra unintersection of the mini-way, deriving a function of reliability of tele-network. Also, we got a function of the cost of tele-network after analyzing the cost of arcs and points. Finally, we give a mathematical model to design a tele-network. For the algorithm, we define the distance of a network and adjacent area within certain boundaries . We present a new algorithm--Queue Competition Algorithm (QCA) based on the adjacent area . The QCA correlates sequence of fitnesses in their father-generations with hunting zone of mutation and the number of individuals generated by mutation, making the stronger fitness in a small zone converge at a local extreme value, but the weaker one takes the advantage of lots of individuals
