As China’s education develops,the innovation of curriculum teaching mode has been increasingly emphasized,and the theory of constructivism has become a popular topic in educational research.The purpose of this article is to elucidate the theoretical implications of constructivism by examining the psychological mechanisms involved in individual constructivist activities.From setting learning objectives,researching problems,learning to present ideas,reflecting and evaluating,etc.,this paper expounds on the application of constructivism theory in curriculum teaching.Besides,strategies for implementing the constructivism theory in curriculum teaching are also proposed,so as to promote autonomous learning and the sustainable development of students. 展开更多

Based on a new theoretical perspective, this paper attempts to unify the seemingly incompatible learning theories of Connectivism and Constructivism into a scientific theoretical framework. The Connectivism-Constructivism learning theory is not a simple superposition of the two theories. Instead, it absorbs the essence of the learning theory of Constructivism, Connectivism and Neo-Constructivism, and takes the two empirical scientific experimental results of developmental cognitive neuroscience and spiking neural network as the factual basis, and develops two theories from the perspective of development. Integration, to achieve the resolution of contradictions, complement each other, and then rebuild. This paper discusses Con<span "="">nectivism-Constructivism learning theory. The theory holds that the essence of knowledge is the connecti<span style="letter-spacing:-0.05pt;">on between the subject and the environment. There are two form</span>s: physical form and logical form. </span><span "="">The </span><span "="">only logical form can be realized and utilized by people. Learning can be divided into two stages: connection and construction. Connection is the premise, construction is the core, and the network action generated in the connection stage as a raw material is pruned, and processed by various systems in the construction stage to become psychological representation. When the psychological representation is used, the relevant network shaping is finished, and the meaningful network is formed, which completes the change of knowledge from physical form to logical form and from logical form to physical form. Therefore, learning is the process of constructing meaningful network. We should not only promote the students’ connection stage, but also help the students’ construction stage. The innovation and breakthrough contribution of this paper is that it is the first time to look at the topic of learning theory from a new research perspective. In order t<span style="letter-spacing:-0.05pt;">o explore a more convincing learning theoretical framework, this artic</span>le takes the lead in seeking theoretical support and factual basis from developmental cognitive neuroscience and Spiking neural network. Qi is the core concept that runs through the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.It is the basic connection between ancient philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine.It is the most difficult and most key point of students’learning.Considering the characteristics of the course and the cognitive style of students,we use constructivist cognitive theory as a reference to design progressive teaching of the Qi content included in the course textbook.The process consists of two parts.The first part is the construction of the basic theory.Students are guided as they build schemata of basic concepts to assemble a deep understanding.They then take the initiative,and participate in the explanation,thereby completely internalizing the knowledge.The second part of the process is clinical skill training in collecting,sorting and writing medical records.In the end we have achieved the teaching goal of driving students’interest in learning,providing them with basic theoretical knowledge,and exercising the comprehensive practical problem solving skills,while cultivating the style of thinking required by practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine. 展开更多

Cognitive development theories differ on how young students can meaningfully process new information and retain that information for future knowledge-building through scaffolding within their zone of proximal development.More traditional theories like the cognitive load theory adhere to the rote memorization approach by categorizing students as passive learners and the teachers as initiators who provide information in a structured,often rigid format,to be stored and retrieved for future application using their working memory.In contrast,the more progressive theories,like constructivism,are premised on the belief that students should proactively initiate their own learning while teachers act more as facilitators.The current trend in government policy under ESSA is to embrace the latter approach in the classroom,which is also more inclusive of all types of students,especially neurodiverse students.Moreover,teachers can utilize the wider range of assistive technology tools to accommodate and support their students’unique learning styles. 展开更多

The Hua-yi system represents an enduring international order in East Asia,dating back nearly two millennia,structured and developed within the framework of Chinese culture.While the contemporary international system predominantly follows the Westphalian model,mainstream international relations theories are primarily grounded in it.However,Western theories have proven inadequate in explaining the longstanding Hua-yi system in East Asia comprehensively.Adopting a positivist stance,this paper undertakes an examination of the theoretical underpinnings of the Hua-yi system through an analysis of its connotations and historical development.It elucidates the system through the lenses of hegemony stability theory and constructivist cultural perspectives.Present-day East Asian nations are urged to engage dialectically with the Hua-yi system and uphold its practices of“cultural soft border”.Amidst the global trend of multi-polarization,East Asian nations should realign with East Asian perspectives and interests,endeavoring to establish a neo-Hua-yi system with responsibility at its core. 展开更多
