In this study, a hybrid model based on oxygen balance mechanism (OBM) and deep neural network (DNN) was established for predicting oxygen blowing time in converter. A three-step method was utilized in the hybrid model. First, the oxygen consumption volume was predicted by the OBM model and DNN model, respectively. Second, a more accurate oxygen consumption volume was obtained by integrating the OBM model and DNN model. Finally, the converter oxygen blowing time was calculated according to the oxygen consumption volume and the oxygen supply intensity of each heat. The proposed hybrid model was verified using the actual data collected from an integrated steel plant in China, and compared with multiple linear regression model, OBM model, and neural network model including extreme learning machine, back propagation neural network, and DNN. The test results indicate that the hybrid model with a network structure of 3 hidden layer layers, 32-16-8 neurons per hidden layer, and 0.1 learning rate has the best prediction accuracy and stronger generalization ability compared with other models. The predicted hit ratio of oxygen consumption volume within the error±300 m^(3)is 96.67%;determination coefficient (R^(2)) and root mean square error (RMSE) are0.6984 and 150.03 m^(3), respectively. The oxygen blow time prediction hit ratio within the error±0.6 min is 89.50%;R2and RMSE are0.9486 and 0.3592 min, respectively. As a result, the proposed model can effectively predict the oxygen consumption volume and oxygen blowing time in the converter.展开更多

In this paper, the RD of free return orbits is quickly evaluated and calculated via the classification and regression neural networks. An efficient databasegeneration method is developed for obtaining eight types of free return orbits and then the RD is defined by the orbit’s inclination and right ascension of ascending node(RAAN) at the perilune. Such predictions are used to identify defective modules before the testing and to minimize the time and cost. The software with defects negatively impacts operational costs and finally affects customer satisfaction. Numerous approaches exist to predict software defects. However, the timely and accurate software bugs are the major challenging issues. To improve the timely and accurate software defect prediction, a novel technique called Nonparametric Statistical feature scaled QuAdratic regressive convolution Deep nEural Network (SQADEN) is introduced. The proposed SQADEN technique mainly includes two major processes namely metric or feature selection and classification. First, the SQADEN uses the nonparametric statistical Torgerson–Gower scaling technique for identifying the relevant software metrics by measuring the similarity using the dice coefficient. The feature selection process is used to minimize the time complexity of software fault prediction. With the selected metrics, software fault perdition with the help of the Quadratic Censored regressive convolution deep neural network-based classification. The deep learning classifier analyzes the training and testing samples using the contingency correlation coefficient. The softstep activation function is used to provide the final fault prediction results. To minimize the error, the Nelder–Mead method is applied to solve non-linear least-squares problems. Finally, accurate classification results with a minimum error are obtained at the output layer. Experimental evaluation is carried out with different quantitative metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F-measure, and time complexity. The analyzed results demonstrate the superior performance of our proposed SQADEN technique with maximum accuracy, sensitivity and specificity by 3%, 3%, 2% and 3% and minimum time and space by 13% and 15% when compared with the two state-of-the-art methods.展开更多

In this study, a DNN (deep neural network) model was proposed to predict fracture parameters for the evaluation of the fracturing effects. Field experience and the law of fracture volume conservation were incorporated as physical constraints to improve the prediction accuracy due to small amount of data. A combined neural network was adopted to input both static geological and dynamic fracturing data. The structure of the DNN was optimized and the model was validated through k-fold cross-validation. Results indicate that this DNN model is capable of predicting the fracture parameters accurately with a low relative error of under 10% and good generalization ability. The adoptions of the combined neural network, physical constraints, and k-fold cross-validation improve the model performance. Specifically, the root-mean-square error (RMSE) of the model decreases by 71.9% and 56% respectively with the combined neural network as the input model and the consideration of physical constraints. The mean square error (MRE) of fracture parameters reduces by 75% because the k-fold cross-validation improves the rationality of data set dividing. The model based on the DNN with physical constraints proposed in this study provides foundations for the optimization of fracturing design and improves the efficiency of fracture diagnosis in tight oil and gas reservoirs.展开更多

文摘The fluctuation of wind power affects the operating safety and power consumption of the electric power grid and restricts the grid connection of wind power on a large scale. Therefore, wind power forecasting plays a key role in improving the safety and economic benefits of the power grid. This paper proposes a wind power predicting method based on a convolutional graph attention deep neural network with multi-wind farm data.Based on the graph attention network and attention mechanism, the method extracts spatial-temporal characteristics from the data of multiple wind farms. Then, combined with a deep neural network,a convolutional graph attention deep neural network model is constructed. Finally, the model is trained with the quantile regression loss function to achieve the wind power deterministic and probabilistic prediction based on multi-wind farm spatial-temporal data.A wind power dataset in the U.S.is taken as an example to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed model.Compared with the selected baseline methods, the proposed model achieves the best prediction performance. The point prediction errors(i.e.,root mean square error(RMSE)and normalized mean absolute percentage error(NMAPE))are 0.304 MW and 1.177%,respectively.And the comprehensive performance of probabilistic prediction(i.e.,con-tinuously ranked probability score(CRPS))is 0.580.Thus,the significance of multi-wind farm data and spatial-temporal feature extraction module is self-evident.

文摘The composition control of molten steel is one of the main functions in the ladle furnace(LF)refining process. In this study,a feasible model was established to predict the alloying element yield using principal component analysis(PCA)and deep neural network(DNN).The PCA was used to eliminate collinearity and reduce the dimension of the input variables, and then the data processed by PCA were used to establish the DNN model. The prediction hit ratios for the Si element yield in the error ranges of±1%,±3%,and±5%are 54.0%,93.8%,and98.8%,respectively,whereas those of the Mn element yield in the error ranges of±1%,±2%,and±3%are 77.0%,96.3%,and 99.5%,respectively,in the PCA-DNN model. The results demonstrate that the PCA-DNN model performs better than the known models, such as the reference heat method, multiple linear regression, modified backpropagation, and DNN model.Meanwhile, the accurate prediction of the alloying element yield can greatly contribute to realizing a“narrow window”control of composition in molten steel. The construction of the prediction model for the element yield can also provide a reference for the development of an alloying control model in LF intelligent refining in the modern iron and steel industry.

文摘Blind image quality assessment(BIQA)is of fundamental importance in low-level computer vision community.Increasing interest has been drawn in exploiting deep neural networks for BIQA.Despite of the notable success achieved, there is a broad consensus that training deep convolutional neural networks(DCNN)heavily relies on massive annotated data.Unfortunately,BIQA is typically a small sample problem, resulting the generalization ability of BIQA severely restricted. In order to improve the accuracy and generalization ability of BIQA metrics, this work proposed a totally opinion-unaware BIQA in which no subjective annotations are involved in the training stage.Multiple full-reference image quality assessment(FR-IQA)metrics are employed to label the distorted image as a substitution of subjective quality annotation.A deep neural network(DNN)is trained to blindly predict the multiple FR-IQA score in absence of corresponding pristine image. In the end,a selfsupervised FR-IQA score aggregator implemented by adversarial auto-encoder pools the predictions of multiple FR-IQA scores into the final quality predicting score.Even though none of subjective scores are involved in the training stage, experimental results indicate that our proposed full reference induced BIQA framework is as competitive as state-of-the-art BIQA metrics.
文摘For training the present Neural Network(NN)models, the standard technique is to utilize decaying Learning Rates(LR).While the majority of these techniques commence with a large LR,they will decay multiple times over time.Decaying has been proved to enhance generalization as well as optimization.Other parameters, such as the network’s size, the number of hidden layers,drop-outs to avoid overfitting, batch size, and so on,are solely based on heuristics. This work has proposed Adaptive Teaching Learning Based(ATLB)Heuristic to identify the optimal hyperparameters for diverse networks. Here we consider three architec-tures Recurrent Neural Networks(RNN),Long Short Term Memory(LSTM),Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory(BiLSTM)of Deep Neural Networks for classification. The evaluation of the proposed ATLB is done through the various learning rate schedulers Cyclical Learning Rate(CLR),Hyperbolic Tangent Decay(HTD),and Toggle between Hyperbolic Tangent Decay and Triangular mode with Restarts(T-HTR)techniques.Experimental results have shown the performance improvement on the 20Newsgroup,Reuters Newswire and IMDB dataset.

文摘Accurate diagnosis of fracture geometry and conductivity is of great challenge due to the complex morphology of volumetric fracture network. The model based on the DNN with physical constraints proposed in this study provides foundations for the optimization of fracturing design and improves the efficiency of fracture diagnosis in tight oil and gas reservoirs.

文摘Geochemical maps are of great value in mineral exploration.Integrated geochemical anomaly maps provide comprehensive information about mapping assemblages of element concentrations to possible types of mineralization/ore,but vary depending on expert's knowledge and experience. This paper aims to test the capability of deep neural networks to delineate integrated anomaly based on a case study of the Zhaojikou Pb-Zn deposit,Southeast China.Three hundred fifty two samples were collected, and each sample consisted of 26 variables covering elemental composition, geological, and tectonic information. At first, generative adversarial networks were adopted for data augmentation. Then,DNN was trained on sets of synthetic and real data to identify an integrated anomaly. Finally, the results of DNN analyses were visualized in probability maps and compared with traditional anomaly maps to check its performance. Results showed that the average accuracy of the validation set was 94.76%.The probability maps showed that newly-identified integrated anomalous areas had a probability of above 75%in the northeast zones. It also showed that DNN models that used big data not only successfully recognized the anomalous areas identified on traditional geochemical element maps, but also discovered new anomalous areas, not picked up by the elemental anomaly maps previously.

文摘Automatic modulation classification(AMC)aims at identifying the modulation of the received signals, which is a significant approach to identifying the target in military and civil applications. In this paper,a novel data-driven framework named convolutional and transformer-based deep neural network(CTDNN)is proposed to improve the classification performance.CTDNN can be divided into four modules,i.e.,convolutional neural network(CNN)backbone, transition module, transformer module, and final classifier. In the CNN backbone,a wide and deep convolution structure is designed, which consists of 1×15 convolution kernels and intensive cross-layer connections instead of traditional 1×3 kernels and sequential connections. In the transition module,a 1×1 convolution layer is utilized to compress the channels of the previous multi-scale CNN features. In the transformer module, three self-attention layers are designed for extracting global features and generating the classification vector. In the classifier, the final decision is made based on the maximum a posterior probability.Extensive simulations are conducted, and the result shows that our proposed CTDNN can achieve superior classification performance than traditional deep models.

文摘The growing demand for low delay vehicular content has put tremendous strain on the backbone network. As a promising alternative, cooperative content caching among different cache nodes can reduce content access delay. However, heterogeneous cache nodes have different communication modes and limited caching capacities. In addition, the high mobility of vehicles renders the more complicated caching environment. Therefore, performing efficient cooperative caching becomes a key issue. In this paper,we propose a cross-tier cooperative caching architecture for all contents, which allows the distributed cache nodes to cooperate. Then,we devise the communication link and content caching model to facilitate timely content delivery.Aiming at minimizing transmission delay and cache cost,an optimization problem is formulated.Furthermore,we use a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL)approach to model the decision-making process for caching among heterogeneous cache nodes, where each agent interacts with the environment collectively, receives observations yet a common reward, and learns its own optimal policy.Extensive simulations validate that the MADRL approach can enhance hit ratio while reducing transmission delay and cache cost.

文摘The medical community has more concern on lung cancer analysis.Medical experts’physical segmentation of lung cancers is time-consuming and needs to be automated. The research study’s objective is to diagnose lung tumors at an early stage to extend the life of humans using deep learning techniques.Computer-Aided Diagnostic(CAD)system aids in the diagnosis and shortens the time necessary to detect the tumor detected. The application of Deep Neural Networks(DNN)has also been exhibited as an excellent and effective method in classification and segmentation tasks. This research aims to separate lung cancers from images of Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)with threshold segmentation. The Honey hook process categorizes lung cancer based on characteristics retrieved using several classifiers.Considering this principle, the work presents a solution for image compression utilizing a Deep Wave Auto-Encoder(DWAE).The combination of the two approaches significantly reduces the overall size of the feature set required for any future classification process performed using DNN.The proposed DWAE-DNN image classifier is applied to a lung imaging dataset with Radial Basis Function(RBF)classifier. The study reported promising results with an accuracy of 97.34%,whereas using the Decision Tree(DT)classifier has an accuracy of 94.24%.The proposed approach(DWAE-DNN)is found to classify the images with an accuracy of 98.67%,either as malignant or normal patients. In contrast to the accuracy requirements, the work also uses the benchmark standards like specificity, sensitivity, and precision to evaluate the efficiency of the network. It is found from an investigation that the DT classifier provides the maximum performance in the DWAE-DNN depending on the network’s performance on image testing,as shown by the data acquired by the categorizers themselves.
文摘Deep neural network(DNN)based computer-aided breast tumor diagnosis(CABTD)method plays a vital role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast tumors. However,a Brightness mode(B-mode)ultrasound image derives training feature samples that make closer isolation toward the infection part.Hence,it is expensive due to a metaheuristic search of features occupying the global region of interest(ROI)structures of input images. Thus,it may lead to the high computational complexity of the pre-trained DNN-based CABTD method. This paper proposes a novel ensemble pretrained DNN-based CABTD method using global-and local-ROI-structures of B-mode ultrasound images. It conveys the additional consideration of a local-ROI-structures for further enhan-cing the pretrained DNN-based CABTD method’s breast tumor diagnostic performance without degrading its visual quality. The features are extracted at various depths(18,50,and 101)from the global and local ROI structures and feed to support vector machine for better classification. From the experimental results,it has been observed that the combined local and global ROI structure of small depth residual network ResNet18(0.8 in%)has produced significant improve-ment in pixel ratio as compared to ResNet50(0.5 in%)and ResNet101(0.3 in%),respectively.Subsequently, the pretrained DNN-based CABTD methods have been tested by influencing local and global ROI structures to diagnose two specific breast tumors(Benign and Malignant)and improve the diagnostic accuracy(86%)compared to Dense Net,Alex Net,VGG Net,and Google Net.Moreover,it reduces the computational complexity due to the small depth residual network ResNet18,respectively.

文摘To obtain excellent regression results under the condition of small sample hyperspectral data,a deep neural network with simulated annealing(SA-DNN)is proposed.According to the characteristics of data, the attention mechanism was applied to make the network pay more attention to effective features, thereby improving the operating efficiency.By introducing an improved activation function, the data correlation was reduced based on increasing the operation rate, and the problem of over-fitting was alleviated.By introducing simulated annealing, the network chose the optimal learning rate by itself, which avoided falling into the local optimum to the greatest extent. To evaluate the performance of the SA-DNN,the coefficient of determination(R^(2)),root mean square error(RMSE),and other metrics were used to evaluate the model. The results show that the performance of the SA-DNN is significantly better than other traditional methods.
文摘Distributed denial of service(DDoS)attack is the most common attack that obstructs a network and makes it unavailable for a legitimate user.We proposed a deep neural network(DNN)model for the detection of DDoS attacks in the Software-Defined Networking(SDN)paradigm.SDN centralizes the control plane and separates it from the data plane. It simplifies a network and eliminates vendor specification of a device.Because of this open nature and centralized control,SDN can easily become a victim of DDoS attacks. We proposed a supervised Developed Deep Neural Network(DDNN)model that can classify the DDoS attack traffic and legitimate traffic. Our Developed Deep Neural Network(DDNN)model takes a large number of feature values as compared to previously proposed Machine Learning(ML)models. The proposed DNN model scans the data to find the correlated features and delivers high-quality results. The model enhances the security of SDN and has better accuracy as compared to previously proposed models. We choose the latest state-of-the-art dataset which consists of many novel attacks and overcomes all the shortcomings and limitations of the existing datasets. Our model results in a high accuracy rate of 99.76%with a low false-positive rate and 0.065%low loss rate. The accuracy increases to 99.80%as we increase the number of epochs to 100 rounds. Our proposed model classifies anomalous and normal traffic more accurately as compared to the previously proposed models. It can handle a huge amount of structured and unstructured data and can easily solve complex problems.

文摘Rockburst is a phenomenon in which free surfaces are formed during excavation, which subsequently causes the sudden release of energy in the construction of mines and tunnels.Light rockburst only peels off rock slices without ejection, while severe rockburst causes casualties and property loss. The frequency and degree of rockburst damage increases with the excavation depth. Moreover, rockburst is the leading engineering geological hazard in the excavation process, and thus the prediction of its intensity grade is of great significance to the development of geotechnical engineering. Therefore, the prediction of rockburst intensity grade is one problem that needs to be solved urgently.By comprehensively considering the occurrence mechanism of rockburst, this paper selects the stress index(σθ/σc),brittleness index(σ_(c)/σ_(t)),and rock elastic energy index(Wet)as the rockburst evaluation indexes through the Spearman coefficient method. This overcomes the low accuracy problem of a single evaluation index prediction method.Following this, the BGD-MSR-DNN rockburst intensity grade prediction model based on batch gradient descent and a multi-scale residual deep neural network is proposed. The batch gradient descent(BGD)module is used to replace the gradient descent algorithm, which effectively improves the efficiency of the network and reduces the model training time. Moreover, the multi-scale residual(MSR)module solves the problem of network degradation when there are too many hidden layers of the deep neural network(DNN),thus improving the model prediction accuracy. The experimental results reveal the BGDMSR-DNN model accuracy to reach 97.1%,outperforming other comparable models. Finally, actual projects such as Qinling Tunnel and Daxiangling Tunnel, reached an accuracy of 100%.The model can be applied in mines and tunnel engineering to realize the accurate and rapid prediction of rockburst intensity grade.
文摘Cloud computing technology provides flexible,on-demand,and completely controlled computing resources and services are highly desirable.Despite this, with its distributed and dynamic nature and shortcomings in virtualization deployment, the cloud environment is exposed to a wide variety of cyber-attacks and security difficulties. The Intrusion Detection System(IDS)is a specialized security tool that network professionals use for the safety and security of the networks against attacks launched from various sources.DDoS attacks are becoming more frequent and powerful, and their attack pathways are continually changing, which requiring the development of new detection methods. Here the purpose of the study is to improve detection accuracy.Feature Selection(FS)is critical. At the same time, the IDS’s computational problem is limited by focusing on the most relevant elements, and its performance and accuracy increase. In this research work, the suggested Adaptive butterfly optimization algorithm(ABOA)framework is used to assess the effectiveness of a reduced feature subset during the feature selection phase, that was motivated by this motive Candidates.Accurate classification is not compromised by using an ABOA technique. The design of Deep Neural Networks(DNN)has simplified the categorization of network traffic into normal and DDoS threat traffic.DNN’s parameters can be finetuned to detect DDoS attacks better using specially built algorithms.Reduced reconstruction error,no exploding or vanishing gradients, and reduced network are all benefits of the changes outlined in this paper. When it comes to performance criteria like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score are the performance measures that show the suggested architecture outperforms the other existing approaches.Hence the proposed ABOA+DNN is an excellent method for obtaining accurate predictions, with an improved accuracy rate of 99.05%compared to other existing approaches.
