The extant literature on international immigrants has discussed migrants’entrepreneurial activities in the context of Western countries but has paid little attention to return-home entrepreneurial intention(RHEI).Rur...The extant literature on international immigrants has discussed migrants’entrepreneurial activities in the context of Western countries but has paid little attention to return-home entrepreneurial intention(RHEI).Rural migrant workers(RMWs)in China,who used to promote rural development by remittances and were characterized by similarities with early international migrants,have gradually returned to their hometowns to initiate entrepreneurial activities.Based on the structured questionnaire conducted in 2015 and 2020in Anhui Province,China,this article combines the concept of mixed embeddedness with the idea of double-layered embeddedness and analyzes the impacts of the social,economic and institutional context in RMWs’hometowns and migration destinations on RMWs’RHEI by using binary logistic regression.The article shows that the social,economic,and institutional environments of RMWs’hometowns and migration destinations have effects on their RHEI.The embeddedness in the economic and informal institutional context in RMWs’RHEI is even more important than personal characteristics.Compared with migration destinations,RMWs’hometowns exert a more influential effect on their RHEI.However,that does not mean that the role of migration destinations can be undervalued.Actually,the better the social,economic,and institutional environments of migration destinations RMWs moved into is,the higher entrepreneurial intention they will have after returning to their hometowns.The article proposes a modified framework in combination of mixed embeddedness with double-layer embeddedness and proves that it is suitable for analyzing RMWs’RHEI.The framework has important implications for strengthening China’s RMWs to return home to start their own businesses.展开更多

It is fou...Based on a survey of 939 farmers in Sichuan and Chongqing,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of entrepreneurial farmers' formal financial credit demands and credit constraints with Probit model. It is found that entrepreneurial farmers have strong demand for formal financial credit,which is mainly production investment demand,but the formal financial credit constraint is obvious. Family size,cognition of loan procedures and conditions have a positive effect on entrepreneurial farmers' formal financial demand,while family per capita income,the distance between family location and the nearest formal financial organization,have negative influence. The relationship between householder'age and entrepreneurial farmers' successful formal loan presents inverted U shape,and educational level presents a negative correlation with successful loan. Compared with the traditional scale agricultural business,farmers engaged in other entrepreneurial businesses would get loan from formal financial institutions more difficultly. Understanding level of the loan procedures and conditions has a positive effect on successful loan. Compared with entrepreneurial farmers without employment,employed farmers are more likely to get loans. Statistically,householder' age and educational level,entrepreneurial business choices do not have significant effect on entrepreneurial households' formal financial credit demands. Family size,family per capital income,the distance between family location and the nearest formal financial organization,and the size of loan do not have significant influence on entrepreneurial households' successful loan. To get rid of formal financial credit constraints,we must implement the incremental reform of financial institutions,promote the formal finance of the villages and towns which can adapt to the farmers' financial demand,and create a good financial environment. Meanwhile,it is necessary to give impetus to innovation of financial management,products and services,reduce credit threshold,and adapt to the characteristics and demands of entrepreneurial households.展开更多

The study thus developed a process model as a result of the literature reviewed. 文摘Entrepreneurship is a key concept to understand the rapid development of China’s economy since the reform and opening-up.It is related to the revitalization of the Chinese nation.Formulating effective entrepreneurial policies and measures,carrying out entrepreneurship education,and promoting entrepreneurial actions are important issues that government agencies,educational institutions,and the society at all levels are paying attention to.The key lies in the insight into the psychological cognitive mechanism and motivation source of entrepreneurs in starting a business.Upon reviewing previous studies,this article believes that entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intentions are the key concepts and entry points connecting entrepreneurial characteristics,entrepreneurial behavior,and cognitive research.This study explores the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention from five dimensions:entrepreneurial planning efficacy,entrepreneurial resource acquisition,relationship coordination efficacy,risk-taking efficacy,as well as innovation and reform efficacy.Suggestions and strategies have been proposed in this article to integrate the entrepreneurial ecology of universities,society and the government,reform the entrepreneurial education model,as well as improve the entrepreneurial willingness of college students.

文摘Based on a survey of 939 farmers in Sichuan and Chongqing,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of entrepreneurial farmers' formal financial credit demands and credit constraints with Probit model. It is found that entrepreneurial farmers have strong demand for formal financial credit,which is mainly production investment demand,but the formal financial credit constraint is obvious. Family size,cognition of loan procedures and conditions have a positive effect on entrepreneurial farmers' formal financial demand,while family per capita income,the distance between family location and the nearest formal financial organization,have negative influence. The relationship between householder'age and entrepreneurial farmers' successful formal loan presents inverted U shape,and educational level presents a negative correlation with successful loan. Compared with the traditional scale agricultural business,farmers engaged in other entrepreneurial businesses would get loan from formal financial institutions more difficultly. Understanding level of the loan procedures and conditions has a positive effect on successful loan. Compared with entrepreneurial farmers without employment,employed farmers are more likely to get loans. Statistically,householder' age and educational level,entrepreneurial business choices do not have significant effect on entrepreneurial households' formal financial credit demands. Family size,family per capital income,the distance between family location and the nearest formal financial organization,and the size of loan do not have significant influence on entrepreneurial households' successful loan. To get rid of formal financial credit constraints,we must implement the incremental reform of financial institutions,promote the formal finance of the villages and towns which can adapt to the farmers' financial demand,and create a good financial environment. Meanwhile,it is necessary to give impetus to innovation of financial management,products and services,reduce credit threshold,and adapt to the characteristics and demands of entrepreneurial households.
文摘Under the background of "the Belt and Road" and "Internet +", innovation and Entrepreneurial education in colleges and universities has been pushed to the focus of education. The opening of the course 3.0 "Entrepreneurial Project Management" in General Studies course of Wuhan University is an innovative education mode under the requirements of the background of the times. The development of network information technology in the new era has brought about the subversion and reform of teaching mode. This paper first analyzes the problems and present situation of the teaching of Entrepreneurial project management, introduces the characteristics of the teaching mode, and makes effective research and exploration on the three teaching modes of Entrepreneurial project management, in order to provide reference for the curriculum teaching reform and to promote the teaching effect of innovation and Entrepreneurial courses in colleges and universities.

文摘With the transformation of China's economy,the new generation of migrant workers quickly entered the labor market and gradually became the main body of supply in the labor market. Based on the relevant theory of human capital investment and the survey of the current situation of entrepreneurial ability of the new generation of migrant workers,through building the human capital investment linear regression model,this paper analyzed the different variables for human capital investment of the new generation of migrant workers from the quantitative perspective. It found that the educational level is the largest factor influencing their entrepreneurial ability. Finally,it came up with pertinent recommendations for improving the entrepreneurial ability of the new generation of migrant workers.
文摘The purpose of this paper is to examine the current role of social media on entrepreneurial intention among theaccounting students in Penang. A survey was designed and disseminated to the accounting students where 233 validresponses were collected. Through structural equation modelling, the findings indicated that entrepreneurialintention was significantly influenced by social media. The findings of this study provided useful information forthe government to engage with other stakeholders and make use of the social media advantage to shape effectivecommunication strategies to support entrepreneurial intention for accounting students.
文摘This paper explores entrepreneurial leadership, market orientation, and firm performance. It sorts to ascertain through the literature whether entrepreneurial leadership has an influence on market orientation decision and firm performance. The review points to the fact that entrepreneurial leadership creates visionary scenarios which they used to assemble and mobilize a “supporting cast” of participants who become committed to the vision and the discovery of strategic value creation by influencing market orientation decision and thus enhancing firm performance. The study thus developed a process model as a result of the literature reviewed. The study concludes that, entrepreneurial leadership influences the market orientation decision of a firm with the help of the “supporting cast” and this helps the firm to increase its performance.

文摘The cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial capability is a quality requirement of the times for the training of college and university talents. However, the regular teaching system universally has such problems as much more emphasis on theory than on practice, much more emphasis on inheritance than on innovation, and mismatching between talent training and market demand, so that a great number of graduates do not have enough innovative capacity, and it is very difficult for them to engage in related jobs of software engineering steadily and permanently. By investigating and analyzing similar majors of more than 20 schools at home and abroad, this article proposes a teaching system of talent training of the 3 C-cored major of "innovative and entrepreneurial" software engineering(digital media technology) based on regions, oriented to the industry and marked by school-enterprise linkage, and in connection with the characteristics of college and university education.

Taking the innovation and entrepreneurship program of college students majoring in aquatic animal medicine as an example,this paper analyzes the significance of the innovation training program for college students,the cultivation of students' scientific research ability,and the problems existing in the application and operation of the program,in order to provide a reference for the innovative education and talent training for students majoring in aquatic animal medicine.
