Furthermore, roll temperature has a large influence on the quality of magnesium alloy sheet; therefore, a new model using circular fluid flow control roll temperature has been designed. A fluid heat transfer structure was designed, the heat transfer process model of the fluid heating roll was simplified, and the finite di erence method was used to cal?culate the heat transfer process. Fluent software was used to simulate the fluid?solid coupling heat transfer, and both the trend and regularity of the temperature field in the heat transfer process were identified. The results show that the heating e ciency was much higher than traditional heating methods(when the fluid heat of the roll and tempera?ture distribution of the roll surface was more uniform). Moreover, there was a bigger temperature di erence between the input and the output, and after using reverse flow the temperature di erence decreased. The axial and circum?ferential temperature distributions along the sheet were uniform. Both theoretical calculation results and numerical simulation results of the heat transfer between fluid and roll were compared. The error was 1.8%–12.3%, showing that the theoretical model can both forecast and regulate the temperature of the roll(for magnesium alloy sheets) in the rolling process.展开更多

The finite element method was used to determine the numerical solution and the accuracy of the model was verified. On this basis, the model was used to simulate productivity of multistage fractured horizontal wells in tight oil reservoirs. The results show that during the production of tight oil wells, the reservoir region close to artificial fractures deteriorated in physical properties significantly, e.g. the aperture and conductivity of artificial fractures dropped by 52.12% and 89.02% respectively. The simulations of 3000-day production of a horizontal well in tight oil reservoir showed that the predicted productivity by the uncoupled model had an error of 38.30% from that by the fully-coupled model. Apparently, ignoring the influence of fluid-solid interaction effect led to serious deviations of the productivity prediction results. The productivity of horizontal well in tight oil reservoir was most sensitive to the start-up pressure gradient, and second most sensitive to the opening of artificial fractures. Enhancing the initial conductivity of artificial fractures was helpful to improve the productivity of tight oil wells. The influence of conductivity, spacing, number and length of artificial fractures should be considered comprehensively in fracturing design. Increasing the number of artificial fractures unilaterally could not achieve the expected increase in production.展开更多

A calculation model of numerical analysis was established, and the influences of mining pressure and plastic damage to pore water pressure and seepage vector change rule were studied. The results show that collapse column is the main channel of confined water seepage upward. The impact is not big when the workface is away from the collapse column. But when the workface is nearing a collapse column, there will be a seepage channel on a side near the workface, in which seepage vector and head are comparatively large. With workface pushing through collapse column, the seepage channel transfers to the other side of the column. In addition, when the plastic damage area within the collapse column breaks through, a "pipeline flow" will be formed within the column, and seepage field will change remarkably and the possibility of water bursting will be greater.展开更多

文摘Turbulence is expected to play a relevant role in the so-called conductor gallop phenomena, namely, the high-amplitude,low-frequency oscillation of overhead power lines due to the formation of ice structures and the ensu-ing effect that wind can have on these. In this work, the galloping time history of a wire with distorted(fixed in time)shape due to the formation of ice is analyzed numerically in the frame of afluid-solid coupling method for different wind speeds and levels of turbulence. The results show that the turbulence intensity has a moderate effect on the increase of the conductor’s aerodynamic lift and drag coefficients due to ice accretion;nevertheless, the corresponding changes in the torsion coefficient are very significant and complicated.A high turbulence intensity can affect the torsion coefficient in a certain range of attack angles and increase the torsion angle of the conductor.Through comparison of the galloping phenomena for different wind velocities,it is found that the related amplitude grows significantly with an increase of the wind speed. For a relatively large wind speed, the galloping amplitude is more sensitive to the turbulence intensity. Moreover, the larger the turbulence intensity, the larger the conductor’s vertical and horizontal galloping amplitudes after icing. The torsion angle also increases with an increase in the wind speed and turbulence intensity.

文摘A sink vortex is a common physical phenomenon in continuous casting, chemical extraction, water conservancy, and other industrial processes, and often causes damage and loss in production. Therefore, the real-time monitoring of the sink vortex state is important for improving industrial production efficiency. However, its suction-extraction phenomenon and shock vibration characteristics in the course of its formation are complex mechanical dynamic factors for flow field state monitoring. To address this issue,we set up a multi-physics model using the level set method(LSM)for a free sink vortex to study the two-phase interaction mechanism. Then,a fluid–solid coupling dynamic model was deduced to investigate the shock vibration characteristics and reveal the transition mechanism of the critical flow state. The numerical results show that the coupling energy shock induces a pressure oscillation phenomenon, which appears to be a transient enhancement of vibration at the vortex penetration state. The central part of the transient enhancement signal is a high-frequency signal.Based on the dynamic coupling model,an experimental observation platform was established to verify the accuracy of the numerical results. The water-model experiment results were accordant with the numerical results. The above results provide a reference for fluid state recognition and active vortex control for industrial monitoring systems, such as those in aerospace pipe transport, hydropower generation, and microfluidic devices.

文摘To study the temperature distribution and thermal-stress?eld in different service stages,a twodimensional model of a turbine blade with thermal barrier coatings is developed,in which the conjugate heat transfer analysis and the decoupled thermal-stress calculation method are adopted.Based on the simulation results,it is found that a non-uniform distribution of temperature appears in different positions of the blade surface, which has directly impacted on stress?eld. The maximum temperature with a value of 1030°C occurs at the leading edge.During the steady stage, the maximum stress of thermally grown oxide(TGO)appears in the middle of the suction side, reaching 3.75 GPa.At the end stage of cooling, the maximum compressive stress of TGO with a value of -3.5 GPa occurs at the leading edge. Thus,it can be predicted that during the steady stage the dangerous regions may locate at the suction side, while the leading edge may be more prone to failure on cooling.

文摘Based on the importance of fractured rock mass seepage research, in order to analyze seepage flow characteristics of collapse column under the influence of mining, a method by embedding fractured rock mass flow solid coupling relationship into FLAC3D internal flow models is presented according to fluid-solid coupling theory and strength criterion. In addition, when the plastic damage area within the collapse column breaks through, a "pipeline flow" will be formed within the column, and seepage field will change remarkably and the possibility of water bursting will be greater.

文摘Groundwater exploitation has been regarded as the main reason for land subsidence in China and thus receives considerable attention from the government and the academic community.Recently, building loads have been identified as another important factor of land subsidence, but researches in this sector have lagged. The effect of a single building load on land subsidence was neglected in many cases owing to the narrow scope and the limited depth of the additional stress in stratum. However, due to the superposition of stresses between buildings, the additional stress of cluster loads is greater than that of a single building load under the same condition,so that the land subsidence caused by cluster loads cannot be neglected.Taking Shamen village in the north of Zhengzhou,China,as an example,a finite-difference model based on the Biot consolidation theory to calculate the land subsidence caused by cluster loads was established in this paper.Cluster loads present the characteristics of large-area loads, and the land subsidence caused by cluster loads can have multiple primary consolidation processes due to the stress superposition of different buildings was shown by the simulation results.Pore water migration distances are longer when the cluster loads with high plot ratio are imposed,so that consolidation takes longer time. The higher the plot ratio is,the deeper the effective deformation is,and thus the greater the land subsidence is.A higher plot ratio also increases the contribution that the deeper stratigraphic layers make to land subsidence.Contrary to the calculated results of land subsidence caused by cluster loads and groundwater recession, the percentage of settlement caused by cluster loads in the total settlement was 49.43%and 55.06%at two simulated monitoring points, respectively. These data suggest that the cluster loads can be one of the main causes of land subsidence.

文摘The offshore wind energy presents a good solution for the green energy demand. The floating offshore wind turbine(FOWT)is one of the most potential choices of the basement construction for offshore wind turbines in deep water.Hydrodynamic performance of multi-column tension-leg-type floating wind turbine is investigated numerically, particularly at its motion responses.Based on the Navier-Stokes equations and the volume of fluid method,a numerical wave tank(NWT)is established to simulate the floating structure system. The analytical relaxation method is adopted to generate regular waves.Dynamic mesh method is used to calculate the motion of the floating body.Hydrostatic decay of motion and hydrodynamic forces in the regular wave are provided. The computation results agree with the experimental data available.Numerical results show that the wave force on the lower pontoon of the system is the greatest while that on the center column is the smallest.Detailed information about the changes of the wave forces on different elements of the floating system is discussed.

文摘An AP1000 nuclear reactor coolant pump is considered to assess the influence of the Impeller/Guide vane clearance on the performances of this type of pumps.Experiments and numerical simulations relying on an unidirectional fluid-solid coupling approach are used to investigate the problem(stress, strain and mode of the rotor). The results reveal the relationship existing between the hydraulic performance of the nuclear reactor coolant pump and the clearance ratio. The effect of clearance ratio on the maximum equivalent stress on the back surface of the impeller blade is greater than that on the working surface(the maximum equivalent stress on the back surface of impeller blade is about three times that on the working surface). The clearance ratio has a scarce effect on the first six natural frequencies of the rotor of the nuclear reactor coolant pump. The related vibrational modes have different waveforms.

文摘The governing equations for heat transfer and fluid flow are often formulated in a general formfor the simplification of discretization and programming, which has achieved great success in thermal science and engineering.Based on the analysis of the popular general form of governing equations,we found that energy conservation cannot be guaranteed when specific heat capacity is not constant, which may lead to unreliable results.A new concept of generalized density is put forward, based on which a new general form of governing equations is proposed to guarantee energy conservation.A number of calculation examples have been employed to verify validation and feasibility.
