This study investigated the performance of high-resolution weather forecasts in predicting this extreme event and the feasibility of weather forecast-based hydrological forecasts. To achieve this goal, high-resolution precipitation forecasts from the Tianji weather system and the forecast system of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) were evaluated with the spatial verification metrics of structure, amplitude, and location. The results showed that Tianji weather forecasts accurately predicted the amplitude of 12-h accumulated precipitation with a lead time of 12 h. The location and structure of the rainfall areas in Tianji forecasts were closer to the observations than ECMWF forecasts. Tianji hourly precipitation forecasts were also more accurate than ECMWF hourly forecasts, especially at lead times shorter than 8 h. The precipitation forecasts were used as the inputs to a hydrological model to evaluate their hydrological applications. The results showed that the runoff forecasts driven by Tianji weather forecasts could effectively predict the extreme flood event. The runoff forecasts driven by Tianji forecasts were more accurate than those driven by ECMWF forecasts in terms of amplitude and location. This study demonstrates that high-resolution weather forecasts and corresponding hydrological forecasts can provide valuable information in advance for disaster warnings and leave time for people to act on the event. The results encourage further hydrological applications of high-resolution weather forecasts, such as Tianji weather forecasts, in the future.展开更多

As the interest in detailed shallow crustal structure imaging has increased, dense seismic array methods have become increasingly efficient. This study used a high-density seismic array deployed in the Xinjiang basin in southeastern China, to record seismic data, which was then processed with the ambient noise tomography method. The high-density seismic array contained 203 short-period seismometers, spaced at short intervals(~ 400 m). The array collected continuous records of ambient noise for 32 days. Data preprocessing, cross correlation calculation, and Rayleigh surface wave phase-velocity dispersion curve extraction, yielded more than 16,000 Rayleigh surface wave phase-velocity dispersion curves, which were then analyzed using the direct-inversion method. Checkerboard tests indicate that the shear wave velocity is recovered in the study area, at depths of 0–1.4 km,with a lateral image resolution of ~ 400 m. Model test results show that the seismic array effectively images a 50 m thick slab at a depth of 0–300 m, a 150 m thick anomalous body at a depth of 300–600 m, and a 400 m thick anomalous body at a depth of 0.6–1.4 km. The shear wave velocity profile reveals features very similar to those detected by a deep seismic reflection profile across the study area. This demonstrates that analysis of shallow crustal velocity structure provides high-resolution imaging of crustal features. Thus, ambient noise tomography with a high-density seismic array may play an important role in imaging shallow crustal structure.展开更多

However, the existing SR algorithms, which are used for ISAR imaging, have suffered from high computational cost and poor imaging quality under a low signal to noise ratio (SNR) condition. This paper proposes a fast decoupled ISAR imaging method by exploiting the inherent structural sparse information of the targets. Firstly, the ISAR imaging problem is decoupled into two sub-problems. One is range direction imaging and the other is azimuth direction focusing. Secondly, an efficient two-stage SR method is proposed to obtain higher resolution range profiles by using jointly sparse information. Finally, the residual linear Bregman iteration via fast Fourier transforms (RLBI-FFT) is proposed to perform the azimuth focusing on low SNR efficiently. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method has better performence to efficiently implement higher-resolution ISAR imaging under the low SNR condition.展开更多

Colonic manometry is considered to the most direct means of evaluating colonic peristalsis. Colonic manometry has been studied for more than 30 years;however, the long duration of the examination, high risk of catheterization, huge amount of real-time data, strict catheter sterilization, and high cost of disposable equipment restrict its wide application in clinical practice. Recently, highresolution colonic manometry (HRCM) has rapidly developed into a major technique for obtaining more effective information involved in the physiology and/or pathophysiology of colonic contractile activity in colonic dysmotility patients. This review focuses on colonic motility, manometry, operation, and motor patterns, and the clinical application of HRCM. Furthermore, the limitations, future directions, and potential usefulness of HRCM in the evaluation of clinical treatment effects are also discussed.展开更多

Their hierarchical structures, ratio relation ships and sequence in conodont zones are continuous and stable and can be traced across different facies zones and sedi mentary basins. Our data show that hierarchically organized superbundlesets, bundlesets, bundles and laminae correspond to the long eccentricity, eccentricity, obliquity or precession and sub-Milankovitch cycles respectively. Their periods were 400,000, 100,000, 33,333, 16,667 and 8,000-17,000 a, respectively. The ratios of long eccentricity to eccentricity, ec centricity to obliquity, and eccentricity to precession in the Devonian are 1:4, 1:3 and 1:6 respectively. Using these hier archical Milankovitch cyclothems, chronostratigraphical division and correlation can be realized at a resolution of 100 ka or 10 ka at the Frasnian-Famennian transition. The time intervals of the Upper rhenana Zone, linguiformis Zone, and the Lower, Middle and Upper triangularis Zone are 0.6, 0.8, 0.3, 0.3 and 0.3 Ma, respectively. Sea-level changes of the Frasnian-Famennian transition were not coherent and synchronous at the resolution of 100 ka or 10 ka in the basin-slope carbonate sequences of Guangxi, South China.展开更多

We obtained images of 30 colon polyp specimens with known pathological types using HRME and analyzed the characteristics of these images to develop HRME diagnostic criteria for different pathological types of colon polyps. Based on these criteria, we performed a prospective study of 84 colon polyp specimens using HRME and compared the results with those of the pathological examination to evaluate the diagnostic value of HRME in the pathological classification of different types of colon polyps. RESULTS: In the 30 cases of known pathological type of colon polyp samples, there were 21 cases of adenomatous polyps, which comprised nine cases of tubular adenoma, seven cases of villous adenoma and five cases of mixed adenomas. The nine cases of non-adenomatous polyps included four cases of inflammatory polyps and five cases of hyperplastic polyps five. Ten cases of normal colonic mucosa were confirmed pathologically. In a prospective study of 84 cases using HRME, 23 cases were diagnosed as inflammatory polyps, 11 cases as hyperplastic polyps, 18 cases as tubular adenoma, eight cases as villous adenoma and 24 cases as mixed adenomas. After pathological examination, 24 cases were diagnosed as inflammatory polyps, 11 cases as hyperplastic polyps, 19 cases as tubular adenoma, eight cases as villous adenoma and 22 cases as mixed adenomas. Compared with the pathological examinations, the sensitivities, specificities, accuracies, and positive and negative predictive values of HRME in diagnosing inflammatory polyps(87.5%, 96.7%, 94.0%, 91.3% and 95.1%), hyperplastic polyps(72.7%, 95.9%, 92.9%, 72.7% and 95.9%), tubular adenomas(73.7%, 93.8%, 89.3%, 77.8% and 92.4%), villous adenomas(75.0%, 97.4%, 95.2%, 75.0% and 97.4%), and mixed adenomas(75.0%, 93.3%, 88.1%, 81.8% and 90.3%) were relatively high.CONCLUSION: HRME has a relatively high diagnostic value in the pathological classification of colon polyps. Thus, it may be an alternative to confocal microendoscopy in lower-resource or community-based settings.展开更多

In this paper, the performance analysis of conventional joint direction of arrival(DOA) and time difference of arrival(TDOA) system is derived and it is shown that this hybrid system may inferior to the single system when the ratio of angular measurements error to distance measurements error exceeds a threshold. To avoid this problem, an effective DOA/TDOA adaptive cascaded(DTAC) technique is presented. The rotation feature of UAVs and spatial filtering technique are applied to gain the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), which leads to more accurate estimation of time delay by using DOAs. Nevertheless, the time delay estimation precision is still limited by the sampling frequency, which is constrained by the finite load of UAV. To break through the limitation, an enhanced self-delay-compensation(SDC) method is proposed, which aims at detecting the overlooked time delay within the sampling interval by adding a tiny time delay. Finally, the position of the source is estimated by the Chan algorithm. Compared to DOA-only algorithm, TDOA-only algorithm and joint DOA/TDOA(JDT) algorithm, the proposed method shows better localization accuracy regardless of different SNRs and sampling frequencies. Numerical simulations are presented to validate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

The echo data are captured by the missile-borne detector in the target regions;thereby the azimuth angulation accuracy at the same distance dimension is improved dynamically. Thus, azimuth information of the targets in the detection area may be obtained accurately. The proposed imaging algorithm breaks through the conventional misconception of merely using azimuth discrimination curves under ideal conditions during monopulse angulation. The real-time echo data from the target region are used to perform error correction for this discrimination curve, and finally the accuracy of the azimuth angulation may reach the optimum at the same distance dimension. A series of experiments demonstrate the validity, reliability and high performance of the proposed imaging algorithm. Azimuth angulation accuracy may reach ten times that of the detection beam width. Meanwhile, the running time of this algorithm satisfies the requirements of missile-borne platforms.展开更多

In this paper, a morphological method is proposed. The proposed method combines the automatic thresholding and morphological operation techniques to extract the road centerline of the urban environment. This method intends to solve urban road centerline problems, vehicle, vegetation, building etc. Based on this morphological method, an object extractor is designed to extract road networks from highly remote sensing images. Some filters are applied in this experiment such as line reconstruction and region filling techniques to connect the disconnected road segments and remove the small redundant. Finally, the thinning algorithm is used to extract the road centerline. 文摘BACKGROUND Intracranial atherosclerosis,a leading cause of stroke, involves arterial plaque formation. This study explores the link between plaque remodelling patterns and diabetes using high-resolution vessel wall imaging(HR-VWI).AIM To investigate the factors of intracranial atherosclerotic remodelling patterns and the relationship between intracranial atherosclerotic remodelling and diabetes mellitus using HR-VWI.METHODS Ninety-four patients diagnosed with middle cerebral artery or basilar artery INTRODUCTION Intracranial atherosclerotic disease is one of the main causes of ischaemic stroke in the world, accounting for approx-imately 10%of transient ischaemic attacks and 30%-50%of ischaemic strokes[1].It is the most common factor among Asian people[2].The adaptive changes in the structure and function of blood vessels that can adapt to changes in the internal and external environment are called vascular remodelling, which is a common and important pathological mechanism in atherosclerotic diseases, and the remodelling mode of atherosclerotic plaques is closely related to the occurrence of stroke.Positive remodelling(PR)is an outwards compensatory remodelling where the arterial wall grows outwards in an attempt to maintain a constant lumen diameter. For a long time,it was believed that the degree of stenosis can accurately reflect the risk of ischaemic stroke[3-5].Previous studies have revealed that lesions without significant luminal stenosis can also lead to acute events[6,7],as summarized in a recent meta-analysis study in which approximately 50%of acute/subacute ischaemic events were due to this type of lesion[6].Research[8,9]has pointed out that the PR of plaques is more dangerous and more likely to cause acute ischaemic stroke.Previous studies[10-13]have found that there are specific vascular remodelling phenomena in the coronary and carotid arteries of diabetic patients. However, due to the deep location and small lumen of intracranial arteries and limitations of imaging techniques, the relationship between intracranial arterial remodelling and diabetes is still unclear. In recent years, with the development of magnetic resonance technology and the emergence of high-resolution(HR)vascular wall imaging,a clear and multidimensional display of the intracranial vascular wall has been achieved. Therefore,in this study,HR wall imaging(HR-VWI)was used to display the remodelling characteristics of bilateral middle cerebral arteries and basilar arteries and to explore the factors of intracranial vascular remodelling and its relationship with diabetes.

文摘Now object detection based on deep learning tries different strategies. It uses fewer data training networks to achieve the effect of large dataset training. However, the existing methods usually do not achieve the balance between network parameters and training data.It makes the information provided by a small amount of picture data insufficient to optimize model parameters, resulting in unsatisfactory detection results. To improve the accuracy of few shot object detection, this paper proposes a network based on the transformer and high-resolution feature extraction(THR).High-resolution feature extractionmaintains the resolution representation of the image.Channels and spatial attention are used to make the network focus on features that are more useful to the object. In addition, the recently popular transformer is used to fuse the features of the existing object. This compensates for the previous network failure by making full use of existing object features.Experiments on the Pascal VOC and MS-COCO datasets prove that the THR network has achieved better results than previous mainstream few shot object detection.

文摘The extreme rainfall event of July 17 to 22, 2021 in Henan Province, China, led to severe urban waterlogging and flood disasters. The results encourage further hydrological applications of high-resolution weather forecasts, such as Tianji weather forecasts, in the future.

文摘Direct ink writing(DIW)holds enormous potential in fabricating multiscale and multi-functional architectures by virtue of its wide range of printable materials, simple operation, and ease of rapid prototyping.Although it is well known that ink rheology and processing parameters have a direct impact on the resolution and shape of the printed objects, the underlying mechanisms of these key factors on the printability and quality of DIW technique remain poorly understood. To tackle this issue,we systematically analyzed the printability and quality through extrusion mechanism modeling and experimental validating.Hybrid non-Newtonian fluid inks were first prepared, and their rheological properties were measured. Then, finite element analysis of the whole DIW process was conducted to reveal the flow dynamics of these inks. The obtained optimal process parameters(ink rheology, applied pressure, printing speed, etc)were also validated by experiments where high-resolution(<100μm)patterns were fabricated rapidly(>70 mm s^(-1)).Finally,as a process research demonstration,we printed a series of microstructures and circuit systems with hybrid inks and silver inks, showing the suitability of the printable process parameters. This study provides a strong quantitative illustration of the use of DIW for the high-speed preparation of high-resolution,high-precision samples.

文摘The pursuit of high-performance electrode materials is highly desired to meet the demand of batteries with high energy and power density. However,a deep understanding of the charge storage mechanism is always challenging, which limits the development of advanced electrode materials.Herein,high-resolution mass spectroscopy(HR-MS)is employed to detect the evolution of organic electrode materials during the redox process and reveal the charge storage mechanism,by using small molecular oxamides as an example, which have ortho-carbonyls and are therefore potential electrochemical active materials for batteries. The HR-MS results adequately proved that the oxamides could reversibly store lithium ions in the voltage window of 1.5–3.8 V.Upon deeper reduction, the oxamides would decompose due to the cleavage of the C–N bonds in oxamide structures, which could be proved by the fragments detected by HR-MS,^(1)H NMR,and the generation of NH_(3)after the reduction of oxamide by Li.This work provides a strategy to deeply understand the charge storage mechanism of organic electrode materials and will stimulate the further development of characterization techniques to reveal the charge storage mechanism for developing high-performance electrode materials.

文摘Scale variation is amajor challenge inmulti-person pose estimation. In scenes where persons are present at various distances, models tend to perform better on larger-scale persons, while the performance for smaller-scale persons often falls short of expectations. Therefore, effectively balancing the persons of different scales poses a significant challenge. So this paper proposes a newmulti-person pose estimation model called FSANet to improve themodel’s performance in complex scenes. Our model utilizes High-Resolution Network(HRNet)as the backbone and feeds the outputs of the last stage’s four branches into the DCB module. The dilated convolution-based(DCB)module employs a parallel structure that incorporates dilated convolutions with different rates to expand the receptive field of each branch.Subsequently, the attention operation-based(AOB)module performs attention operations at both branch and channel levels to enhance high-frequency features and reduce the influence of noise. Finally, predictions are made using the heatmap representation. The model can recognize images with diverse scales and more complex semantic information.Experimental results demonstrate that FSA Net achieves competitive results on the MSCOCO and MPII datasets, validating the effectiveness of our proposed approach.

文摘This paper proposes a new version of the high-resolution entropy-consistent(EC-Limited)flux for hyperbolic conservation laws based on a new minmod-type slope limiter.Firstly,we identify the numerical entropy production,a third-order differential term deduced from the previous work of Ismail and Roe[11].The corresponding dissipation term is added to the original Roe flux to achieve entropy consistency. The new, resultant entropy-consistent(EC)flux has a general and explicit analytical form without any corrective factor, making it easy to compute and a less-expensive method. The inequality constraints are imposed on the standard piece-wise quadratic reconstruction to enforce the pointwise values of bounded-type numerical solutions. We design the new minmod slope limiter as combining two separate limiters for left and right states. We propose the EC-Limited flux by adding this reconstruction data method to the primitive variables rather than to the conservative variables of the EC flux to preserve the equilibrium of the primitive variables. These resulting fluxes are easily applied to general hyperbolic conservation laws while having attractive features:entropy-stable,robust,and non-oscillatory.To illustrate the potential of these proposed fluxes,we show the applications to the Burgers equation and the Euler equations.

文摘A profile of shallow crustal velocity structure(1–2 km) may greatly enhance interpretation of the sedimentary environment and shallow tectonic deformation.Recent advances in surface wave tomography, using ambient noise data recorded with high-density seismic arrays, have improved the understanding of regional crustal structure. Thus, ambient noise tomography with a high-density seismic array may play an important role in imaging shallow crustal structure.

文摘Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image can be represented and reconstructed by sparse recovery (SR) approaches. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method has better performence to efficiently implement higher-resolution ISAR imaging under the low SNR condition.
文摘The detailed process and mechanism of colonic motility are still unclear, and colonic motility disorders are associated with numerous clinical diseases. Furthermore, the limitations, future directions, and potential usefulness of HRCM in the evaluation of clinical treatment effects are also discussed.

文摘Four hierarchical cyclothems, superbundlesets, bundlesets, bundles and laminae, have been identified from the Devonian Frasnian-Famennian carbonate strata in Guangxi, South China. Sea-level changes of the Frasnian-Famennian transition were not coherent and synchronous at the resolution of 100 ka or 10 ka in the basin-slope carbonate sequences of Guangxi, South China.

文摘Predicting tropical cyclone(TC)genesis is of great societal importance but scientifically challenging. It requires fineresolution coupled models that properly represent air−sea interactions in the atmospheric responses to local warm sea surface temperatures and feedbacks, with aid from coherent coupled initialization. This study uses three sets of highresolution regional coupled models(RCMs)covering the Asia−Pacific(AP)region initialized with local observations and dynamically downscaled coupled data assimilation to evaluate the predictability of TC genesis in the West Pacific. The APRCMs consist of three sets of high-resolution configurations of the Weather Research and Forecasting−Regional Ocean Model System(WRF-ROMS):27-km WRF with 9-km ROMS,and 9-km WRF with 3-km ROMS.In this study,a 9-km WRF with 9-km ROMS coupled model system is also used in a case test for the predictability of TC genesis.Since the local sea surface temperatures and wind shear conditions that favor TC formation are better resolved, the enhanced-resolution coupled model tends to improve the predictability of TC genesis, which could be further improved by improving planetary boundary layer physics, thus resolving better air−sea and air−land interactions.

文摘AIM: To study a new imaging equipment, highresolution micro-endoscopy(HRME), in the diagnosis and pathological classification of colon polyps.METHODS: We selected 114 specimens of colon polyps, 30 of which were colon polyps with known pathological types and 84 that were prospective polyp specimens; 10 normal colon mucosa specimens served as controls. Thus, it may be an alternative to confocal microendoscopy in lower-resource or community-based settings.

文摘Effective information fusion is very important in hybrid source localization. Numerical simulations are presented to validate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm.

文摘High-dispersed nanoscale Cu precipitates often contribute to extremely high strength due to precipitation hardening, and whereas usually lead to degraded toughness for especially ferritic steels.Hence,it is important to understand the formation behaviors of the Cu precipitates.High-resolution transmission electron microscopy(TEM)is utilized to investigate the structure of Cu precipitates thermally formed in a high-strength low-alloy(HSLA)steel.The Cu precipitates were generally formed from solid solution and at the crystallographic defects such as martensite lath boundaries and dislocations. The Cu precipitates in the same aging condition have various structure of BCC,9 R and FCC,and the structural evolution does not greatly correlate with the actual sizes. The presence of different structures in an individual Cu precipitate is observed, which reflects the structural transformation occurring locally to relax the strain energy. The multiply additions in the steel possibly make the Cu precipitation more complex compared to the binary or the ternary Fe-Cu alloys with Ni or Mn additions. This research gives constructive suggestions on alloying design of Cu-bearing alloy steels.

文摘Aiming at a novel missile-borne detector in the optional burst height proximity fuze, a self-adaptive high-resolution forward-looking imaging algorithm (SAHRFL-IA) is presented. Meanwhile, the running time of this algorithm satisfies the requirements of missile-borne platforms.

文摘In this paper,we proposed a monopulse forward-looking high-resolution imaging algorithm based on adaptive iteration for missile-borne detector.Through iteration, the proposed algorithm automatically selects the echo signal of isolated strong-scattering points from the receiving echo signal data to accurately estimate the actual optimal monopulse response curve(MRC) of the same distance range, and we applied optimal MRC to realize the azimuth self-focusing in the process of imaging. We use real-time echo data to perform error correction for obtaining the optimal MRC,and the azimuth angulation accuracy may reach the optimum at a certain distance dimension. We experimentally demonstrate the validity, reliability and high performance of the proposed algorithm. The azimuth angulation accuracy may reach up to ten times of the detection beam-width.The simulation experiments have verified the feasibility of this strategy, with the average height measurement error being 7.8%.In the out-field unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) tests, the height measurement error is less than 25 m,and the whole response time can satisfy the requirements of a missile-borne detector.
文摘The commercial high-resolution imaging satellite with 1 m spatial resolution IKONOS is an important data source of information for urban planning and geographical information system (GIS) applications. Experiments have been conducted on a high-resolution IKONOS and QuickBird images showing the efficiency of the proposed method.
