It offers language learners a chance to communicate and exchange information frequently. Group cooperative leaning has long been considered to be one of the most important forms of the interactive teaching mode. English writing, one of the essential English language skills, is an integral part of college English teaching. The high or low level of English writing is a comprehensive reflection of various abilities. This paper aims to explore the application of the interactive teaching model in college English writing class in order to improve students' motivation and ability of English writing, thus can provide an effective way of learning to the current college English writing class.展开更多

Herein, a hybrid metal–dielectric nanoantenna composed of six wedgeshaped gold(Au) nanoblocks as well as silica(SiO2) and silicon(Si) nanodiscs is designed and analyzed by the finite element method(FEM). The nanoantenna exhibits flexibility in excitation and manipulation of the anapole mode through the strong coupling between the metal and dielectrics, consequently improving the near-field enhancement at the gap. By systematically optimizing the structural parameters, the electric field enhancement factors at wavelengths corresponding to the anapole modes(AM1 and AM2) can be increased to 518 and 1482, respectively. Moreover, the nanoantenna delivers great performance in optical sensing such as a sensitivity of 550 nm/RIU. The results provide guidance and insights into enhancing the coupling between metals and dielectrics for applications such as surface-enhanced Raman scattering and optical sensing.展开更多

Acoustic mode is crucial for duct propagation but little study about the relation between serration and mode. Thus, taking axial single-turbine test bench NPU-Turb as object, the effect of Stator with Serrated Trailing-edge (Bionic S) and Rotor with Serrated Leading-edge (Bionic R) on duct acoustic modes of turbine turbulence interac-tion noise were studied in detail using DDES/AA hybrid model validated by acoustic experiment of NPU-Turb. Serval conclusions can be made here. First, for broadband noise, the effect of serrations on duct modes (increased or reduced of PWLmn) with the increasing frequency is more prominent. Second, the changing trend of ?PWLmn is something like Chinese character “人” with circumferential mode m and alternating with radial mode. Such distribution is more obvious at higher frequency. More theoretical and mechanistic research work needs to be carried out in depth in the future. .展开更多

Vibration-based damage assessment is a powerful tool in this regard, as it relies on changes in a structure’s dynamic characteristics as it degrades. By measuring the vibration response of a bridge due to passing vehicles, this approach can identify potential structural damage. This dissertation introduces a novel technique grounded in Vehicle-Bridge Interaction (VBI) to evaluate bridge health. It aims to detect damage by analyzing the response of passing vehicles, taking into account VBI. The theoretical foundation of this method begins with representing the bridge’s superstructure using a Finite Element Model and employing a half-car dynamic model to simulate the vehicle with suspension. Two sets of motion equations, one for the bridge and one for the vehicle are generated using the Finite Element Method, mode superposition, and D’Alembert’s principle. The combined dynamics are solved using the Newmark-beta method, accounting for road surface roughness. A new approach for damage identification based on the response of passing vehicles is proposed. The response is theoretically composed of vehicle frequency, bridge natural frequency, and a pseudo-frequency component related to vehicle speed. The Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) method is applied to decompose the signal into its constituent parts, and damage detection relies on the Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs) corresponding to the vehicle speed component. This technique effectively identifies various damage scenarios considered in the study.展开更多
