Objective: To study sociodemographic, clinical, paraclinical, therapeutic and evolutionary aspects of acute coronary syndrome of young subjects. Patients and Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study with prospective recruitment from October 01, 2020 to March 31, 2022. Were included all patients admitted for acute coronary syndrome whose age was less or equal to 45 years and who had undergone coronary angiography at the Mother-Child University Hospital on Luxembourg from Bamako. Results: During the study period, we collected 60 patient files out of 198. These 60 patient files met our inclusion criteria. Hospital frequency was 30.30%. Average age of patients was 40.43 ± 3.9 years. Sex ratio M/F was 5.3. Main cardiovascular risk factor was smoking tobacco (23.42%), followed by dyslipidemia (13.92%). Functional signs were dominated by angina 62% followed by dyspnea 25.3%. Persistent ST-segment elevation on electrocardiogram was present in 76.4%. Left ventricular systolic dysfunction was present in 26.5%. Time to first medical contact was more than 12 hours in 62.7% of cases. Radial approach was adopted in 94% of cases. Coronary angiography was pathological in 85% (n = 51) of cases. Lesions were single-vessel disease in 47.1% and culprit artery was anterior interventricular in 51% of cases. Dual anti-platelet aggregation was aspirin and ticagrelor in 91.8% of cases. Angioplasty was performed in all patients who had significant abnormalities at coronary angiography. In-hospital mortality was 3.9%. Conclusion: Acute coronary syndromes exist in young Africans with a male predominance. Main cardiovascular risk factor is smoking tobacco. Coronary lesions are single vessel disease in the majority of case. Most of patients meet medical team after 12 hours. Time to first medical contact is a main challenge in our country.展开更多

Many Japanese female complain of a Hie or a low back pain (LBP), which they reduce their subjective well-being. We analyze. Those patients often have acupuncture therapy. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of Hie and LBP, the satisfaction level of alternative therapy and we pursue a tip to improve subjective well-being. Methods: Of 1000 women, Hie (+)/Hie (−) or LBP (+)/LBP (−), we compared their body temperature (BT) (axilla) and body mass index (BMI). Furthermore, the Chi test identified ten factors of “body” and seven “mind” information. Results: In the result of BT (axilla) while LBP indicated a significant difference. Both Hie and LBP showed difference in the opposite direction. Hie did now show such clear differences in “body” information. However, interestingly, all seven questions in the “mind” information showed statistical difference. Discussion and conclusion: One reason why those patients have acupuncture therapy may acupuncture therapy traditionally has not separate “mind” and “body” and it has the concept of “mind-body unity”. To improve subjective well-being, first we need to focus on “Mind” as well as “mind-body unity”. Mental-health support is important for patients with Hie or LBP to reduce physiological stress.展开更多

In this research, students having online classes of a practical-based fabric design subject were encouraged to self-study from Open Educational Resource (OER) materials for a further and better understanding of their subject. Additionally, online materials were developed to improve students’ understanding via skill of digital literacy. Their learning progress was evaluated and compared to the face-to-face version. The majority of students found online classes combined with self-studying OER materials, potentially be a substitute for face-to-face classes. Most of the students further opined different OER videos assisted them without any face-to-face instructions in practical works, to develop new fabric samples from the inspiration. Analysis of test results, and comparison of students’ final grades with different learning modes, supported these phenomena.展开更多

Surgical resection is usually the treatment of choice for these neoplasms. Methods: The first patient is a 48-year-old male that came to our department, complaining about weakness and paresthesia of both lower extremities and upper left extremity, and a considerably big dorsal palpable lump. MRI and CT scan were used to diagnose giant cervical schwannoma. Because of the intensity of symptoms, he was subjected to surgery. Multidisciplinary resection involving neurosurgical and oncosurgicalteamn was performed for intravertebral and extravertebral approaches. The second patient is a 55-year-old female that came to the hospital complaining about incapacitating pain and dysesthesia involving T6, T7, and T8 dermatomes, with no other deficits. MRI and CT scan were used to diagnose giant thoracic schwannoma. Because of the intensity of the pain, surgery was decided as the treatment of choice. Video assisted thoracoscopic surgery was performed and total resection was achieved, with improvement of the symptoms. Results: Both patients showed complete remission of the symptoms, with no major deficits after surgery. Conclusion: Although infrequent, giant spinal schwannomas may be the cause of visible lumps in the back with radicular symptoms. When asymptomatic, conservative treatment could be viable, but when they present symptoms, surgery offers good results.展开更多

文摘Purpose: To report two quite rare cases of giant schwannomas of the cervical and thoracic spine. When asymptomatic, conservative treatment could be viable, but when they present symptoms, surgery offers good results.
文摘After the release of the new curriculum plan, interdisciplinary learning has emerged as a pivotal aspect of curriculum reform in compulsory education. This shift has necessitated a corresponding reform in the teaching and learning methods of fundamental education courses. The implementation of interdisciplinary learning has consequently become a pressing challenge in educational practice. To successfully execute interdisciplinary learning, several key preparations are imperative.Firstly, educators must recognize the significance of interdisciplinary teaching.Secondly, they should clearly understand that the essence of interdisciplinary learning lies in the enhancement of students’core qualities.Thirdly, teachers need to prioritize their professional development, cultivating a robust understanding of interdisciplinary knowledge and bolstering their proficiency in interdisciplinary teaching.Lastly, students themselves must foster a diverse range of interests, cultivate high-level thinking abilities, and develop effective learning habits across multiple fields.

文摘Subjective scales have different kinds of applicability in diverse fields. This study intends to implement a quantitative approach to determine the applicability of subjective scales in manual as-sembly work and evaluate the cognitive load of assembly workers.A multi-scale research paradigm based on subjective evaluation method is proposed.Three typical task stages are extracted from the process of assembly work. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index(NASA-TLX)scale,PAAS scale and Workload Profile Index Ratings(WP)scale are selected for the design of 3×3 multi-factor mixed experiment. The power spectrum density(PSD)characteris-tics of electroencephalogram(EEG)are utilized to identify the difficulty levels of the three task sta-ges.The relevant indicators of scale applicability are assessed. The results show that in terms of sensitivity,NASA-TLX scale reaches the highest sensitivity(F=999.137,P=0<0.05).In terms of validity,NASA-TLX scale possesses the best concurrent validity(P=0.0255<0.05).In terms of diagnosticity,NASA-TLX scale based on 6 dimensions takes on the best diagnostic performance. In terms of subject acceptability,WP scale performs the worst.According to the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)model, the applicability scores of NASA-TLX scale,PAAS scale and WP scale are determined as 3,2.55 and 1.6714,respectively.Therefore,NASA-TLX scale is regarded as the most suitable subjective evaluation questionnaire for assembly workers, which is also an effective quantitative evaluation method for the cognitive load of assembly workers.
基金School-level project of Guangdong Yunfu Vocational College of Chinese Medicine:Construction and application of an interdisciplinary team teaching model for higher vocational nursing English from the perspective of ecolinguistics(Project number:2023K08)。
文摘Under the background of globalization, there are severe challenges in the cultivation of the professional skills of nursing staff, especially the English skills of foreign-related nursing, which has become an important part of the training of nursing talents. At present, most English teaching of foreign-related nursing in higher vocational colleges follows the traditional grammar teaching model. However,as most of the teaching staff for medical English are English teachers who have limited nursing professional knowledge, the industry characteristics of medical English are not fully demonstrated in the teaching process, and the lack of practicality inevitably reduces the quality of medical English teaching. Therefore, the traditional nursing English teaching model in higher vocational colleges can no longer meet the actual teaching needs. There is an urgent need to implement an interdisciplinary team teaching model that completely fits the industry environment of foreign-related nursing English and apply it flexibly to improve the quality of foreign-related nursing English teaching in higher vocational colleges, and lay a solid foundation for professional practice of nursing staff.Based on the perspective of ecolinguistics, this article explores the application strategies of the interdisciplinary team teaching model for foreign-related nursing English in higher vocational colleges, with the view to provide guidelines for the actual teaching of foreign-related nursing English.
文摘With the advent of the artificial intelligence(AI)era, there is a need to create a more flexible and humanistic educational ecosystem to adapt to the changes.Education needs to move from a unidirectional focus on skills to the cultivation of creative“whole people.”Due to the non-standardized evaluation system of the art discipline, its education has a unique advantage for the cultivation of students’creativity. At the same time, the interdisciplinary integration of fine arts points to the educational goals in the era of AI and the educational requirements for cultivating students’core qualities in China. Therefore, this paper analyzes the theoretical basis and developmental evolution of interdisciplinary integration, studies the significance of interdisciplinary integration in art education from the three levels of students, teaching, and disciplines, and explores four effective paths to realize interdisciplinary integration in art education in the era of AI.In this way, students can realize the contextualized analysis of knowledge,in-depth understanding of the content of the discipline, and accurate expression of the spiritual values embedded in art interdisciplinary learning. The ultimate goal is to cultivate students’ability to solve complex problems, promote the development of students’free personalities, and respond to the national education requirements.
文摘With the deepening of educational reform, interdisciplinary thematic learning,as an emerging educational model, has become a focus of attention in the field of educational research.Based on the STEM(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)education concept and CASES-T(Content,Activity,Situation,Evaluation,Strategy-Target)model,this study provides a theoretical basis for the teaching design and implementation of interdisciplinary thematic learning in middle school physical education.Through the analysis of specific interdisciplinary thematic learning cases,it aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the reform of middle school physical education through the CASES-T model-based interdisciplinary thematic teaching design research in middle school physical education,in order to enhance students’learning effects, cultivate core literacy in physical education, and promote students’all-round development.
文摘The question of“new moral subjects”arises today in connection with the use of advanced technologies in the context of Industry 4.0,i.e.,the industrial enterprise investing in smart factories,co-robotic,additive manufacturing, augmented reality, cyber security, big data, etc.Industry 4.0 underpins what is being heralded as Industry 5.0.Technologies in this field excel in that they are not used for the mere execution of processes designed, programmed, and controlled by man,but are applied to realise“autonomously”goals in the industrial context.Consequently, their degree of automation is no longer defined by increasing independence from human beings, but by the ability to spontaneously initiate a process and implement it to useful effect. The comparison between man and machine, and the justification for the introduction of“new moral subjects”thus crucially depend on the location of“moral being”in the reference to their“autonomy”as a property characterising the“subject man”,but not the exclusive prerogative of the latter.
