Objective: To evaluate the effect of Internet technology on continuing nursing in elderly patients with diabetic feet.Method: From January 2015 to July 2016, 12 elderly patients with diabetic foot ulcers were enrolled from the Endocrinology Department in our hospital. We used "We Chat", "E nursing" and other Internet technologies to perform remote extended care and to observe the foot ulcer outcomes.Results: All foot ulcers healed with a wound healing time between 38 and 73 days(average57.08 ± 12.69 days). Patients did not need to travel long distances to seek medical treatment for foot ulcers, improving their satisfaction.Conclusions: The implementation of extended care for elderly patients with diabetic foot ulcers was based on the application of Internet technology. It is helpful to facilitate medical treatment, share high quality health resources and promote disease rehabilitation. 展开更多

With the use of multimedia which combines the use o f text, sound, images, motion video and animation, it is more efficient for studen ts to learn mould design interactively. A program is created using several multi media software to simulate the mechanism of moulding processes in order to let s tudents understand the concept of mould design. In addition, students can even access the program through the Internet. Therefore, the software is defined as Multimedia and Internet Technology (MIT) program. The MIT program consists of four sections: (i) simulation of mould mechanisms, ( ii) cooling system, (iii) material information and (iv) games for tutorials. Sec tion One covers the basic operations of different types of moulds such as two-p late mould, three-plate mould, split mould, side-core mould and mould with und ercuts. Section Two introduces different types of cooling systems such as bubble r, baffle, cooling circuits, etc. Section Three provides some useful material in formation for mould design. Section Four contains games of matching mould compon ents, mould design problem finding and multiple choice questions to test student s how much they understand mould design concept. Multimedia is highly effective particularly in teaching and learning. It changes the nature of learning itself. It makes reading dynamic by giving words an impo rtant new dimension. It allows students to see, hear and do simultaneously, thus significantly reducing average learning time. Furthermore, through cooperative learning on Internet, students can access the program, share data or search info rmation anytime anywhere. Therefore, Multimedia and Internet Technology is one o f the vital aspects to speed up the realization of information age in society. 展开更多

VoD is based on client/server mode and needs to be paid for. P2P streaming media is based on P2P mode service for hot content. Inventory pledge financing not only solves the financing difficulties of small and medium-sized enterprises,but also opens up business channels for banks.Under the random market demand,this article studies the pledge decision-making of perishable pledges in the inventory pledge business,On the basis of considering the supervision of the Internet of Things technology to reduce the loss rate of quality goods,a decision model of the pledge rate of the bank is constructed in the case of not adopting the Internet of things technology and adopting the Internet of things technology.The pledge rate decision-making model in the two technical situations aims at maximizing the profit at the end of the pledge period.The factors in the model such as the pledge rate,end-of-period income,and IoT technology coverage rate are analyzed respectively,and finally the decision-making process is verified through calculation examples.Studies have shown that,when Internet of Things technology is not adopted,the income of bank pledge business first increases and then decreases with the growth of pledge rate.After the adoption of Internet of Things technology,the income of Banks is inversely proportional to the coverage rate of Internet of Things technology.However,within a certain coverage range,Banks can obtain greater income by using Internet of Things technology to supervise pledges. 展开更多

There has been a recent explosion of interest from academics across a wide range of disciplines in the use of Multi-User Virtual Environments for education,driven by the success of platforms such as Internet Communication Technology learning skills in higher education.While digital virtual worlds are used in the 21st century learning,advances in the capabilities and the spread of technology have fed a recent boom in interest in massively multi-user 3D virtual worlds for entertainment,and this in turn has led to a surge of interest in their educational applications.As these platforms are used more often as environments for teaching and learning,there is increased need to integrate them with other institutional systems,Web-based Virtual Learning Environments(VLE)in particular.In this paper,we briefly review the use of virtual worlds for education,from informal learning to formal instruction,and consider what is required to turn a virtual world from a Multi-User Virtual Environment into a fully fledged 3D Virtual Learning Environment(VLE).In this we focus on the development of Moodle—a system which integrates the popular 3D virtual world of Second Life with the open-source Virtual Learning Environment. 展开更多
