This study aimed to compare the role of plasma microRNA-1(miR-1) and cardiac troponin T(cTnT) in early diagnosis of AMI patients.METHODS:From May 2011 to May 2012,plasma samples were collected from 56 AMI patients and 28 non-AMI controls. The expression of plasma miR-1 was measured by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR),and the level of plasma cTnT was measured using electrochemiluminescence-based methods on an Elecsys 2010 Immunoassay Analyzer. SPSS 16.0 was used for the statistical analysis of the results. Data were expressed as mean±standard deviation unless otherwise described. The differences about clinical characteristics between the AMI patients and controls were tested using Student's t test or Fisher's exact test. The Mann-Whitney U test was conducted to compare the expression of microRNAs between the AMI patients and controls. MicroRNAs expression between different intervals of the AMI patients was compared using Wilcoxon's signed-rank test. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was established to discriminate the AMI patients from the controls.RESULTS:In the present study,the expression of plasma miR-1 was signifi cantly increased in the AMI patients compared with the healthy controls(P<0.01). The plasma miR-1 in the AMI patients decreased to the normal level at 14 days(P>0.05). The expression of plasma miR-1 was not related to the clinical characteristics of the study population(P>0.05). ROC curve analyses demonstrated that miR-1 was specifi c and sensitive for the early diagnosis of AMI,but not superior to cTnT.CONCLUSION:Plasma miR-1 could be used in the early diagnosis of AMI,but it is similar to cTnT.展开更多

Methods: Measuring the cardiac index (CI), left ...Objective:To examine the therapeutic mechanism of Yuxingeng liquid (愈心梗液,YXGL) on early ventricular remodeling in Wistar rats with acute myocardial infarction(AMI). Methods: Measuring the cardiac index (CI), left ventricular weight (LVW) and cardiac myocyte dimension and observing the concentration of endothelin (ET) and angiotensin E (Ang n ) in the plasma and myocardium. AMI models were established by ligature of left anterior descending coronary artery and the rats with AMI were randomly divided into 6 groups: the model group, sham-operation group, captopril group, high dosage YXGL group, middle dosage YXGL group and low dosage YXGL group. From the next day after modeling, the rats had been given YXGL through the gastric tube, which lasted for 4 weeks. And then, CI, LVW and concentration of ET and Ang II in the plasma and myocardium were tested. Results: Comparing with model control group, high dosage YXGL, middle dosage YXGL and captopril can all significantly reduce CI, LVW, cardiac cell dimension and content of ET and AngII in both plasma and myocardium (P< 0. 05 or P<0. 01). Conclusion: YXGL can remarkably reduce LVW, CI and concentration of ET and Ang II,and lowering the concentration of ET and Ang II is possibly one of the mechanisms intervening the pathological course of the early ventricular remodeling in rats with AMI.展开更多

Autonomic dysfunction, an important arrhythmogenic mechanism in this setting, is being actively investigated, aiming at the advent of preventive strategies. Recent experimental studies have shown vagal withdrawal after anterior myocardial infarction, coinciding with high incidence of VTs, followed by more gradual sympathetic activation coinciding with a second arrhythmia peak. In a recent study published by the National Academy of Science, USA it was shown that month of birth is related to longevity. The aim of this study was to check the month of birth distribution in a great group of AMI patients of both gender, one of the great killers in the developed countries, to check the mentioned paradigm of month of birth and longevity. Methods & Patients: Patients admitted to Cardiology Departments of a tertiary University Hospital in Kaunas, Lithuania with AMI at years 1990-2010 (n-22047) were studied. Month of birth of these patients, total and both gender were checked. Monthly, quarterly and trimester comparison were done. Statistical differences established using t-Student test and distribution by percents of the yearly months of birth. Results: It was a significant difference in the month of birth of the studied AMI population. January and first quarter and trimester born patients were more often in the studied AMI patients group. The higher morbidity by Cardiovascular diseases can be a significant ingredient in the structure of population longevity. Possible mechanisms explaining our findings are discussed. Conclusion: In the AMI population people born in January, first quarter or trimester of the year are dominating in both gender groups. The results of this study can be an additional confirmation of the paradigm about links between month of birth and longevity.展开更多

文摘目的 探究重组组织型纤溶酶原激活剂(Recombinant Tissue Plasminogen Activator,rt-PA)超早期静脉溶栓治疗急性脑梗死的疗效。方法 随机选取2021年1月—2024年1月江苏省邳州市中医院收治的80例急性脑梗死患者为研究对象,以随机数表法分为两组,研究组(40例)实施rt-PA超早期静脉溶栓治疗,对照组(40例)实施常规治疗。比较两组的美国国立卫生研究院卒中量表(National Institute of Health Stroke Scale,NIHSS)评分、Baethel指数、格拉斯哥昏迷评分法(Glasgow Coma Scale,GCS)评分及不良反应发生情况。结果治疗后,研究组的NIHSS评分低于对照组,GCS评分高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。治疗24 h和治疗14 d,研究组的Baethel指数高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。研究组的不良反应总发生率低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 使用rt-PA超早期静脉溶栓治疗急性脑梗死能够有效的提高患者的日常生活活动能力和昏迷指数,快速帮助患者溶解血栓,提高治疗的效果,使得患者脑血流快速恢复,减少脑水肿等不良反应的发生。
