The work deals with cellulose paper filled with nanocellulose and SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy oxide phosphor.It was found that both nanocellulose and oxide improve the tensile strength of the composites obtained.The samples with th...The work deals with cellulose paper filled with nanocellulose and SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy oxide phosphor.It was found that both nanocellulose and oxide improve the tensile strength of the composites obtained.The samples with the oxide demonstrate a long-lasting photoluminescence(PL)under sunlight and ultra-violet(UV)illumination.Room-temperature the PL spectra reveal a wide multicomponent band spreading over all the visible spectral regions.The short-wavelength part of the band is ascribed to the cellulose-related luminescence,while the long-wavelength PL component with maxima near 540 nm corresponds to the luminescence of the SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy phosphor.The dependency of the PL intensity on oxide concentration suggests the reabsorption of cellulose emission by the oxide and vice versa.The study of the dielectric properties of composite papers shows the presence of dielectric relaxations at low temperatures(T~−50℃).Similar cellulose materials to those studied can be considered as alternatives for artificial petroleum-based polymers.Low cost,eco-friendliness,biocompatibility,and the simplicity of recycling are among the main advantages of these materials.They are produced from the cellulose which is one of the most abundant renewable materials in nature.The data on the mechanical,dielectric,and optical properties indicate that the papers studied can be used in flexible lighting devices,WLEDs,coating,markers,labels,etc.展开更多

This work explores the development of biodegradable laminar composite foams for cushioning applications.The focus lies on overcoming the inherent brittleness of starch foams by incorporating various paper types as rei...This work explores the development of biodegradable laminar composite foams for cushioning applications.The focus lies on overcoming the inherent brittleness of starch foams by incorporating various paper types as rein-forcement.Tapioca starch and glutinous starch were blended in varying ratios(100:0–0:100)to optimize the base material’s properties.The morphology,density,flexural strength,and impact strength of these starch blends were evaluated.The results revealed a trade-off between impact strength and density,with increasing glutinous starch content favoring impact resistance but also leading to higher density.The optimal ratio of tapioca to glutinous starch for achieving maximumflexural strength and modulus was determined to be 60:40.Theflexural strength of the composite material at this ratio reached a peak value of 5.3±0.6 MPa,significantly surpassing theflexural strength of pure tapioca foam,which was measured to be 3.5±0.4 MPa.Building on this foundation,novel lami-nar composite foams were fabricated using the 60:40 starch blend reinforced with mulberry paper,kraft paper,and newsprint paper.To enhance the interfacial adhesion between the starch matrix and paper reinforcement,a silane coupling agent was employed at a 10 wt%loading on the paper.The incorporation of paper reinforcement into starch foams was found to enhance their mechanical properties.Specifically,flexural strength values increased from 5.3±0.6 MPa for the unreinforced starch foam to 6.8±0.6 MPa,8.1±0.9 MPa,and 7.4±0.1 MPa when reinforced with mulberry paper,kraft paper,and newsprint paper,respectively.Notably,kraft paper reinforcement led to the most enhancements inflexural strength,flexural modulus,and impact strength.This research paves the way for developing sustainable cushioning materials with competitive mechanical properties using bio-based resources like starch and paper.展开更多
Purpose:In this paper,we develop a heterogeneous graph network using citation relations between papers and their basic information centered around the“Paper mills”papers under withdrawal observation,and we train gra...Purpose:In this paper,we develop a heterogeneous graph network using citation relations between papers and their basic information centered around the“Paper mills”papers under withdrawal observation,and we train graph neural network models and classifiers on these heterogeneous graphs to classify paper nodes.Design/methodology/approach:Our proposed citation network-based“Paper mills”detection model(PDCN model for short)integrates textual features extracted from the paper titles using the BERT model with structural features obtained from analyzing the heterogeneous graph through the heterogeneous graph attention network model.Subsequently,these features are classified using LGBM classifiers to identify“Paper mills”papers.Findings:On our custom dataset,the PDCN model achieves an accuracy of 81.85%and an F1-score of 80.49%in the“Paper mills”detection task,representing a significant improvement in performance compared to several baseline models.Research limitations:We considered only the title of the article as a text feature and did not obtain features for the entire article.Practical implications:The PDCN model we developed can effectively identify“Paper mills”papers and is suitable for the automated detection of“Paper mills”during the review process.Originality/value:We incorporated both text and citation detection into the“Paper mills”identification process.Additionally,the PDCN model offers a basis for judgment and scientific guidance in recognizing“Paper mills”papers.展开更多
In the context of the continuous advancement of teaching reform,the optimization of the curriculum evaluation system has become a key issue in the field of education.This study focuses on the course of educational psy...In the context of the continuous advancement of teaching reform,the optimization of the curriculum evaluation system has become a key issue in the field of education.This study focuses on the course of educational psychology,using the final examination papers and scores of the 2022 Physical Education Major and 2024 Early Childhood Education Major undergraduate students at Yunnan Technology and Business University as samples.Basic statistical analysis methods are employed to conduct an in-depth investigation.The results show that the overall difficulty of the exam papers is moderate(0.7),with acceptable reliability(0.78)and good validity(0.7-0.8).However,the failure rate among students reaches 21.3%,reflecting learning difficulties.There is no significant difference in scores between students from different majors,attributed to the same teaching conditions and equal emphasis on the course by both majors.This study provides data support for the teaching of educational psychology courses,assisting teachers in improving their teaching based on the results,meeting the demands of teaching reform for precise teaching evaluation and quality enhancement,and promoting the development of educational psychology course teaching.展开更多

However, there is a need in introducing another index to determine superiority or inferiority of papers with the same numbe...Purpose: The number of citations has been widely used to measure the significance of a paper. However, there is a need in introducing another index to determine superiority or inferiority of papers with the same number of citations. We determine superiority or inferiority of papers by using the ranking based on the number of citations and PageRank.Design/methodology/approach: We show the positive linear correlation between Citation Rank(the ranking of the number of citation) and PageRank. On this basis, we identify highquality, prestige, emerging, and popular papers. Findings: We found that the high-quality papers belong to the subjects of biochemistry and molecular biology, chemistry, and multidisciplinary sciences. The prestige papers correspond to the subjects of computer science, engineering, and information science. The emerging papers are related to biochemistry and molecular biology, as well as those published in the journal "Cell." The popular papers belong to the subject of multidisciplinary sciences. Research limitations: We analyze the Science Citation Index Expanded(SCIE) from 1981 to 2015 to calculate Citation Rank and PageRank within a citation network consisting of 34,666,719 papers and 591,321,826 citations.Practical implications: Our method is applicable to forecast emerging fields of research subjects in science and helps policymakers to consider science policy.Originality/value: We calculated PageRank for a giant citation network which is extremely larger than the citation networks investigated by previous researchers.展开更多

文摘In the context of the continuous advancement of teaching reform,the optimization of the curriculum evaluation system has become a key issue in the field of education.This study focuses on the course of educational psychology,using the final examination papers and scores of the 2022 Physical Education Major and 2024 Early Childhood Education Major undergraduate students at Yunnan Technology and Business University as samples.Basic statistical analysis methods are employed to conduct an in-depth investigation.The results show that the overall difficulty of the exam papers is moderate(0.7),with acceptable reliability(0.78)and good validity(0.7-0.8).However,the failure rate among students reaches 21.3%,reflecting learning difficulties.There is no significant difference in scores between students from different majors,attributed to the same teaching conditions and equal emphasis on the course by both majors.This study provides data support for the teaching of educational psychology courses,assisting teachers in improving their teaching based on the results,meeting the demands of teaching reform for precise teaching evaluation and quality enhancement,and promoting the development of educational psychology course teaching.
文摘The data of this research was mainly collected from the Web of Science (WOS) and Incites database platform, which was filtered and cataloged according to the different platforms. For tracing the change in scientific research at Shanghai Ocean University, make use of Bibliometric analysis to get the image and table of highly cited papers and hot papers. In this study, the scientific aspects in highly cited papers and hot papers, published in the last year in the core collection of Web of Science, were taken as objects, and office software was used as the main tool to carry out bibliometric and figure analysis. From the four aspects to find the difference in these fields, the production of specific fields and cited times is inconsistent. And suggest the department and management adjust the policy and method via elastic personnel and rewards to prompt the advancement of the research fields.

文摘Purpose: The number of citations has been widely used to measure the significance of a paper. However, there is a need in introducing another index to determine superiority or inferiority of papers with the same number of citations. We determine superiority or inferiority of papers by using the ranking based on the number of citations and PageRank.Design/methodology/approach: We show the positive linear correlation between Citation Rank(the ranking of the number of citation) and PageRank. On this basis, we identify highquality, prestige, emerging, and popular papers. Findings: We found that the high-quality papers belong to the subjects of biochemistry and molecular biology, chemistry, and multidisciplinary sciences. The prestige papers correspond to the subjects of computer science, engineering, and information science. The emerging papers are related to biochemistry and molecular biology, as well as those published in the journal "Cell." The popular papers belong to the subject of multidisciplinary sciences. Research limitations: We analyze the Science Citation Index Expanded(SCIE) from 1981 to 2015 to calculate Citation Rank and PageRank within a citation network consisting of 34,666,719 papers and 591,321,826 citations.Practical implications: Our method is applicable to forecast emerging fields of research subjects in science and helps policymakers to consider science policy.Originality/value: We calculated PageRank for a giant citation network which is extremely larger than the citation networks investigated by previous researchers.
