As the essence of traditional Chinese educational thought, heuristic teaching has gradually enriched and devel-oped its ideas through the continuous efforts of educational researchers of the past dynasties. In front-line teach-ing,heuristic teaching,as a teaching principle that can help teachers and students to interact and learn, undoubtedly plays an important role in students’acquisition of knowledge and scientific thinking activities. But teachers’understanding of heuristic teaching is not the same.In actual teaching, there are obvious gaps in language ability among different teachers. This research aims to enrich the heuristic teaching theory based on the perspective of psychology, and provide a certain theoretical basis for teacher training.Through the research and analysis of the generation path of the heuristic teaching language, this paper helps more teachers realize the advantages of the heuristic teaching language, improve their own heuristic teaching language level, and provide reference for the scientific teaching evaluation standard. We apply the heuristic instruction language approach proposed in this study and apply it to real classrooms. In the application,it can be clearly found that the students’thinking and participation have been strengthened, and the teaching effect has been significantly improved com-pared with the past, which indicates that the heuristic teaching language generation path in this study has certain practical application value. 展开更多

Adolescents’emotions and preferences are influenced by their childhood experiences. In today’s world, there is a pervasive eagerness for happiness.Happiness has been linked to feelings of self-strength,seeking help, and psy-chological health. The current quantitative research was designed with a positive psychological perspective to compare Pakistani and Chines adolescents’self-strength,seeking help, and happiness. The research design of the study was causal-comparative.The study population consisted of 400 Pakistani and 409 Chinese adolescents studying in the elementary grades of both countries. The sample was selected by using a simple random sampling technique. It consisted of 413 boys(51%)and 396 girls(49%),319(39)of them were from the age group of 13–14 years,386(48%)of them were from the age group of 15–16 years, and 104(12.9%)were from the age group of 17–18 years.Three different scales were developed to collect study data.Independent sample t-test and simple linear regression were used to test study hypotheses. The analysis revealed that Pakistani adolescents have signifi-cantly higher self-strength,seeking help and happiness than their counterparts. It was also found that adolescents’self-strength and seeking help significant affect their happiness.Based on thefindings,it was suggested to inves-tigate the factors contributing to the improved self-strength,seeking help, and happiness of Pakistani adolescents. It was also recommended to investigate the mediating effect of adolescents’self-strength on the relationship between their happiness and seeking help. 展开更多

In mainstream media, the common perception is that“rags to riches”stories only consist of becoming“rich and famous”.This paper aims to reflect on the phenomenological experiences of 19 South Africans who significantly were able to move beyond their own significant low point experiences(imaginary:“rags”)into high point experiences(imaginary:“riches”).The presence of a meaningful experience indicates a turning point divide between low and high.Having the right positive psychological attributes supports the change required to move beyond your circumstances. The study explored the deeper internal psychological attributes within a person along with spiritual factors that could affect change in a person’s life to have an improved and fulfilling life.An existential-phenomenological-humanistic approach, from a positive psychological theoretical viewpoint, was used. The attributes were identified as themes through thematic analysis. The study found that meaning was the most prevalent feature in all respondents’lives to indicate a turn away from, sometimes intense, negative experiences. The presence of a positive mind-set(including positive attitude,self-thought,and self-talk)played a dominant role in affecting change, while the presence of faith and religious belief indicated the spiritual factors associated with change. 展开更多

Research and results: Contemplative practises use positive electromagnetic vibrations to speed up mental health recovery, while spirituality and religion bring love, hope, happiness, and compassion. Self-transcendence increases cortisol and serotonin receptor binding, suppresses norepinephrine, and reduces mental health issues. Mental health professionals must respect preferences, record religious beliefs, provide spiritual materials, and encourage socialisation. Self-determination, autonomy, and choice should be prioritised in mental health care. This therapy’s significant, long-term, and undeniable effect is undisputed. Research purpose: To publicise mental health-promoting spiritual and religious practises. Methods and tools: The author, a psychologist with 20 years of introspective training, summarises the findings after being cured of psychopathology, with only the relevant insight points. “Contemplative Practice” is an integrated therapy for psychiatric patients and health care providers that promotes mental health through spiritual and religious activities. Self-analysis and, theoretically, a Google Scholar literature search help the author create the therapy. Result: The author develops a contemplative science research methodology. Conclusion: Positive psychology and metaphysical contemplation can miraculously improve mental health. 展开更多

This paper talks about how to insist staying in changed mindset based on the assigned cognitive reframing principles, andfinally the changed mindset become a forever psychological status by PSI model proposed by this study.P is the cognitive reframing principle of positive psychology, happiness in this case;S is self-efficacy,which plays the important role in maintaining the stress taker to psychologically stay in the changed mindset in the long run.I represent of insisting power, the mental toughness to against the adverse negative emotions.Improving university students’stress coping skills through the psychological dynamics formed by cognitive reframing principles of positive psychology,self-efficacy,and mental toughness will help them effectively deal with stressful events. This study aims to reduce university students’stress level by increasing their ability to cope with stress, and improving their life satisfaction by understanding the mechanism for mindset-shift of university students and proposal of the new PSI reframing model for creating a new path to let students view stressors as challenge, not hindrance.Theories adopted in this study include cognitive reframing principles, appraisal theory,hindrance-challenge theory, cognitive reframing the schema. In the introduction section, the authors will clearly depict the logics for utilization of these theories in supporting the proposed PSI model. This research was divided into two studies.Study 1 postulated that cognitive reframing principles of positive psychology,self-efficacy,and mental toughness have a positive mediating effect in the causal relationship between university students’stress level and life satisfaction.Findings revealed that stressful life events negatively predict the level of LS.Also,PP,SE,and MT exert a positive and significant impact on the relationship between stressful life events and LS.PP strengthens individuals’perception of stressful life events as chal-lenges instead of hindrances. This study showed that individuals need to think positively and develop self-efficacy in order to generate mental toughness when confronted with challenges from stressful life events, and needs to have self-efficacy and confidence towards cognitive reframing principles of positive psychology in their mind, andfinally form a mental toughness competence to protect the newly changed mindset in the long run. 展开更多

Inspired by the mysteries of the universe, humans have been exploring outer space since the 1950s.Proceeding from I-day(Shenzhou 5)to 6-month(Shenzhou 15)missions,one of the perspectives of Chinese space exploration has shifted from not just how to safely survive but to how to healthily live in outer space. In current review,we introduce some common psychological stressors during space missions and how researchers simulate these stressors on the ground firstly. Then,we briefly introduce classic and state-of-the-art measurements and tools used in measuring the mental state of crew members.Self-reporting questionnaires, behavioral observations, and computerized tests are widely used as measurement strategies in this field. We discuss, respectively, how challenging missions negatively and positively affect crew members. As psychological issues are sensitive to individual and cultural backgrounds,we focus on Chinese crew members and potential cultural differences. Finally,we propose some potential future directions this research could evolve based on previous findings. 展开更多
