New requirements have been proposed for GIS practice teaching in colleges and universities in response to the developmental changes of national and industrial sectors during the social transition.Meanwhile,the underlying core characteristics of GIS should remain unchanged in GIS teaching to ensure they serve as the inherent attributes distinguishing GIS from other disciplines.Therefore,the clarification of the dialectical relationship between “changing” and “unchanging” in GIS practice teaching becomes the primary issue to address in relevant teaching reform.To address this issue,the present study systematically analyzes the structural contradictions in GIS practice teaching in the social transition period,and then closely examines the dialectical relationship between “changing” and “unchanging” from the key aspects of educational philosophy,teaching content,teaching methodology,and teaching assessment.Next,using the course of “GIS Practice Design” at the Central South University as an example,the present study describes this university’s reform and inheritance in GIS practice teaching,aiming to provide reference for GIS practice teaching in other universities or majors. 展开更多

Students in the experimental group manage individualized health of diabetes patients in the observation group, and students in the control group conduct group health education and management for diabetes patients, no individualized health management. Results Students in the two groups compare cognition about this course and community nursing before teaching, no remarkable difference (all P values are ? 0.05), and compare diabetes knowledge and living behaviors of the old in the two groups, no remarkable difference (all P values are ? 0.05). After teaching, students in the two groups compare recognition of this course and community nursing as well as test performance, and there are remarkable differences (all P values are ? 0.05). And comparison of diabetes knowledge and living behaviors of the old in the two groups shows remarkable differences (all P values are ? 0.05). The implementation of individualized health management mode in community nursing practice teaching can improve students' professional knowledge and competence, and help diabetes patients to form good behaviors and life styles. The combination of community nursing practice teaching and individualized health management for diabetes patients can improve students' professional knowledge and competence, and help diabetes patients to control illness state and improve their physical conditions. 展开更多

With the advancement of science and technology as well as the rapid development of next generation information technologies,such as big data and artificial intelligence,smart classrooms have emerged as the times have demanded.Adopting innovative teaching modes in smart classrooms allows the realization of various teaching techniques that cannot be achieved in traditional classrooms.Especially for some courses in medical schools,due to changes in the medical environment and the improvement of patients’awareness of medical rights and interests,the traditional teaching methods are becoming more restricted.For example,in clinical surgery,due to the increasing number of medical students in recent years and requirements for strict aseptic principle adherence in operating rooms,practical teaching has encountered great restrictions,thus preventing it from meeting the needs of students.In order to solve this problem,this research constructs a smart classroom teaching model for surgical practice teaching based on hardware equipment,such as smart classrooms,interconnected surgical mobile broadcast equipment,and intelligent medical simulators.Through this teaching model,the teaching effect and quality are further analyzed,laying a foundation for smart teaching in future medical courses. 展开更多
