Endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)with fine needle aspiration or fine needle biopsy is the gold standard for sampling tissue to diagnose pancreatic cancer and auto-immune pancreatitis or to analyze cyst fluid.The most common ...Endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)with fine needle aspiration or fine needle biopsy is the gold standard for sampling tissue to diagnose pancreatic cancer and auto-immune pancreatitis or to analyze cyst fluid.The most common reported adverse event of fine needle aspiration and/or fine needle biopsy is acute pancreatitis,which is likely induced by the same pathophysiological mechanisms as after en-doscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).According to the current European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy guideline,nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are administered prior to ERCP as a scientifically proven treatment to reduce post-ERCP pancreatitis incidence rate.A single suppository of diclofenac or indomethacin prior to EUS guided tissue acquisition(TA)is harm-less in healthy adults.Since it is associated with low costs and,most important,may prevent a dreadsome complication,we strongly recommend the adminis-tration of 100 mg diclofenac rectally prior to EUS-TA.We will explain this recom-mendation in more detail in this review as well as the risk and pathophysiology of post-EUS TA pancreatitis.展开更多
As modern electromagnetic environments are more and more complex,the anti-interference performance of the synchronization acquisition is becoming vital in wireless communications.With the rapid development of the digi...As modern electromagnetic environments are more and more complex,the anti-interference performance of the synchronization acquisition is becoming vital in wireless communications.With the rapid development of the digital signal processing technologies,some synchronization acquisition algorithms for hybrid direct-sequence(DS)/frequency hopping(FH)spread spectrum communications have been proposed.However,these algorithms do not focus on the analysis and the design of the synchronization acquisition under typical interferences.In this paper,a synchronization acquisition algorithm based on the frequency hopping pulses combining(FHPC)is proposed.Specifically,the proposed algorithm is composed of two modules:an adaptive interference suppression(IS)module and an adaptive combining decision module.The adaptive IS module mitigates the effect of the interfered samples in the time-domain or the frequencydomain,and the adaptive combining decision module can utilize each frequency hopping pulse to construct an anti-interference decision metric and generate an adaptive acquisition decision threshold to complete the acquisition.Theory and simulation demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly enhances the antiinterference and anti-noise performances of the synchronization acquisition for hybrid DS/FH communications.展开更多
The acquisition of valuable design knowledge from massive fragmentary data is challenging for designers in conceptual product design.This study proposes a novel method for acquiring design knowledge by combining deep ...The acquisition of valuable design knowledge from massive fragmentary data is challenging for designers in conceptual product design.This study proposes a novel method for acquiring design knowledge by combining deep learning with knowledge graph.Specifically,the design knowledge acquisition method utilises the knowledge extraction model to extract design-related entities and relations from fragmentary data,and further constructs the knowledge graph to support design knowledge acquisition for conceptual product design.Moreover,the knowledge extraction model introduces ALBERT to solve memory limitation and communication overhead in the entity extraction module,and uses multi-granularity information to overcome segmentation errors and polysemy ambiguity in the relation extraction module.Experimental comparison verified the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed knowledge extraction model.The case study demonstrated the feasibility of the knowledge graph construction with real fragmentary porcelain data and showed the capability to provide designers with interconnected and visualised design knowledge.展开更多
BACKGROUND Vestibular dysfunction(VH)is a common concomitant symptom of late peri-pheral vestibular lesions,which can be trauma,poisoning,infection,heredity,and neurodegeneration,but about 50%of the causes are unknown...BACKGROUND Vestibular dysfunction(VH)is a common concomitant symptom of late peri-pheral vestibular lesions,which can be trauma,poisoning,infection,heredity,and neurodegeneration,but about 50%of the causes are unknown.The study uses the information-motivation-behavioral skills(IMB)model for health education,effectively improve the quality of life,increase their self-confidence,reduce anxiety and depression,and effectively improve the psychological state of patients.AIM To explore the effect of health education based on the IMB model on the degree of vertigo,disability,anxiety and depression in patients with unilateral vestibular hypofunction.METHODS The clinical data of 80 patients with unilateral vestibular hypofunction from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the retrospective research objects,and they were divided into the control group and the observation group with 40 cases in each group according to different nursing methods.Among them,the control group was given routine nursing health education and guidance,and the observation group was given health education and guidance based on the IMB model.The changes in self-efficacy,anxiety and depression,and quality of life of patients with unilateral VH were compared between the two groups.RESULTS There was no significant difference in General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)scale scores between the two groups of patients before nursing(P>0.05),which was comparable;after nursing,the GSES scale scores of the two groups were higher than those before nursing.The nursing group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)and anxiety and depression subscales between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).After nursing,the HADS score,anxiety,and depression subscale scores of the two groups of patients were lower than those before nursing,and the nursing group was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)scale and DHI-P,DHI-E and DHI-F scores in the two groups were decreased,and the scores in the nursing group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Health education based on the IMB model can effectively improve patients'quality of life,increase self-efficacy of patients with unilateral vestibular hypofunction,enhance patients'confidence,enable patients to resume normal work and life as soon as possible,reduce patients'anxiety and depression,and effectively improve patients'psychological status.展开更多
This paper presents an investigation on the effect of JPEG compression on the similarity between the target image and the background,where the similarity is further used to determine the degree of clutter in the image...This paper presents an investigation on the effect of JPEG compression on the similarity between the target image and the background,where the similarity is further used to determine the degree of clutter in the image.Four new clutter metrics based on image quality assessment are introduced,among which the Haar wavelet-based perceptual similarity index,known as HaarPSI,provides the best target acquisition prediction results.It is shown that the similarity between the target and the background at the boundary between visually lossless and visually lossy compression does not change significantly compared to the case when an uncompressed image is used.In future work,through subjective tests,it is necessary to check whether this presence of compression at the threshold of just noticeable differences will affect the human target acquisition performance.Similarity values are compared with the results of subjective tests of the well-known target Search_2 database,where the degree of agreement between objective and subjective scores,measured through linear correlation,reached a value of 90%.展开更多

Main reasons of the high land acquisition frauds in Africa are a lack of a reliable land acquisition protocol implementation, no centralized information system that records land transactions and integrates all actors, lack of education about the acquisition protocol and lack of applied sanctions in case of frauds. As of sanctions, the issue is bound to the corruption plague in Africa. Authorities that are supposed to rule the laws are not well paid and are part of the corruption scheme. Most frequent frauds are multiple sales of the same land, falsified land title, false owner identification. In Africa, a land belongs generally to the first residents of the area. To claim ownership of a land, an owner should be recognized by the rural or city authorities. To achieve this recognition, he must obtain from those authorities an attribution letter. The author proposed a complete and reliable land acquisition protocol named ACLAP (Africa Countries Land Acquisition Protocol). The purpose of this paper is to explain the main components of the protocol implementation and show its efficiency when confronting fraud threats. In this paper, a Generic and Reliable Land Acquisition Protocol Implementation in Sub-Saharan Africa countries context is proposed. The platform keeps relevant land transaction information for administrators, managers, buyers, sellers, or for people consultation purpose. Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, solvent control group and BI-D1870 group. The rats in the control group were intraperitoneally injected with saline, while those in the solvent control group were intraperitoneally injected with DMSO + sulfobutyl-β-cyclodextrin solvent, and those in the BI-D1870 group were intraperitoneally injected with BI-D1870. All the rats’ appearance and behavior were daily observed, and body weight was recorded on the day 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 82 of BI-D1870 injected. Morris water maze was used to screen the rats’ learning and memory acquisition ability on the day 22 - 25, 52 - 55, and 82 - 85 of training by BI-D1870 treated. The successful rates of the rats’ memory impairment were respectively calculated for three times screening. Results: During the whole experiment, there was no obvious difference in appearance and fur color in all rats. The rats’ agitation began to appear on the day 10th of BI-D1870 given. Medical students are exposed to these procedures mainly as they rota...Introduction: Endotracheal intubation is a vital life-saving skill required by physicians in life-threatening situations in and out of the hospital. Medical students are exposed to these procedures mainly as they rotate through the department of Anaesthesia, in their subspecialty posting in Surgery. In this study, we sought to assess the ease of learning endotracheal intubation by medical students in the skills laboratory using an adult-sized (Laerdal Medical) manikin. Methods: This was a prospective descriptive study assessing the ability of medical students at endotracheal intubation during their 12-week rotation in the Anaesthesia Department during their subspecialty posting from August to October 2019 in the Skills Laboratory. An adult-sized manikin (Laerdal Medical) intubating head was used for the study. This was preceded by a detailed lecture and demonstration in the skills laboratory after successful passage of the endotracheal tube and connected to a self-inflating ventilation (Ambou) bag. Adequate chest movement meant proper placement, while the fullness of the stomach meant oesophageal intubation. Results: All the 500 level (45) students in the class were recruited for this prospective study. 30 (66%) had successful endotracheal intubation at the first attempt, 7 (14.4%) at the second attempt, 5 (11.1%) at the third attempt, 2 (4.4%) students at the fourth attempt and 1 (2.2%) had successful endotracheal intubation at the fifth attempt. Attempts were made to reinforce information on the practical procedure by a repeat performance by the instructor after each set of successful attempts was separated from the pack of unsuccessful candidates. In the end, however, we had 100% successful endotracheal intubation, but after 5 attempts by the last medical student. Conclusion: Endotracheal intubation skills can be learned with some level of ease when done after detailed information and training of medical students. More so when not under undue stress and life-threatening situations in the skills laboratory. By extension, this increases the confidence of medical students in the live patients in the Operating Theatre, after repeated attempts in the skills laboratory. This has the benefit of improving the chances of acquisition of endotracheal intubation in real-life situations.展开更多
As high-dynamics and weak-signal are of two primary concerns of navigation using Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)signals,an acquisition algorithm based on threetime fractional Fourier transform(FRFT)is present...As high-dynamics and weak-signal are of two primary concerns of navigation using Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)signals,an acquisition algorithm based on threetime fractional Fourier transform(FRFT)is presented to simplify the calculation effectively.Firstly,the correlation results similar to linear frequency modulated(LFM)signals are derived on the basis of the high dynamic GNSS signal model.Then,the principle of obtaining the optimum rotation angle is analyzed,which is measured by FRFT projection lengths with two selected rotation angles.Finally,Doppler shift,Doppler rate,and code phase are accurately estimated in a real-time and low signal to noise ratio(SNR)wireless communication system.The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the fast FRFT algorithm can accurately estimate the high dynamic parameters by converting the traditional two-dimensional search process to only three times FRFT.While the acquisition performance is basically the same,the computational complexity and running time are greatly reduced,which is more conductive to practical application.展开更多

Main reasons of the high land acquisition frauds in Africa are a lack of a reliable land acquisition protocol implementation, no centralized information system that records land transactions and integrates all actors, lack of education about the acquisition protocol and lack of applied sanctions in case of frauds. As of sanctions, the issue is bound to the corruption plague in Africa. Authorities that are supposed to rule the laws are not well paid and are part of the corruption scheme. Most frequent frauds are multiple sales of the same land, falsified land title, false owner identification. In Africa, a land belongs generally to the first residents of the area. To claim ownership of a land, an owner should be recognized by the rural or city authorities. To achieve this recognition, he must obtain from those authorities an attribution letter. The author proposed a complete and reliable land acquisition protocol named ACLAP (Africa Countries Land Acquisition Protocol). The purpose of this paper is to explain the main components of the protocol implementation and show its efficiency when confronting fraud threats. In this paper, a Generic and Reliable Land Acquisition Protocol Implementation in Sub-Saharan Africa countries context is proposed. The platform keeps relevant land transaction information for administrators, managers, buyers, sellers, or for people consultation purpose. The application may be used in village, city, department, region, or country for land management decision making.

文摘Aim: To observe the rats’ learning and memory acquisition ability disturbance induced by BI-D1870. Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, solvent control group and BI-D1870 group. The rats in the control group were intraperitoneally injected with saline, while those in the solvent control group were intraperitoneally injected with DMSO + sulfobutyl-β-cyclodextrin solvent, and those in the BI-D1870 group were intraperitoneally injected with BI-D1870. All the rats’ appearance and behavior were daily observed, and body weight was recorded on the day 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 82 of BI-D1870 injected. Morris water maze was used to screen the rats’ learning and memory acquisition ability on the day 22 - 25, 52 - 55, and 82 - 85 of training by BI-D1870 treated. The successful rates of the rats’ memory impairment were respectively calculated for three times screening. Results: During the whole experiment, there was no obvious difference in appearance and fur color in all rats. The rats’ agitation began to appear on the day 10th of BI-D1870 given. The agitation rats’ number and rats’ body weight gradually increased along with BI-D1870 treated (P P Conclusion: Intraperitoneal injection of BI-D1870 can induce the rats’ learning and memory acquisition ability disorder.

文摘A control and data acquisition system was implemented for the recently developed collinear laser spectroscopy setup.This system is dedicated to data recording,storage,processing,monitoring of the beam intensity and energy,and visualization of various spectra.In comparison to the conventional resonance nuclear reaction system,the key technique is the precise synchronization of the detected counts with the actual scanning voltage(or probing laser frequency).The functions of the system were tested by measuring the hyperfine structure spectra of stable calcium(e.g.,^(40)Ca^(+))and radioactive potassium(e.g.,^(38)K)in the bunched and continuous modes,respectively.This system will be routinely applied and further improved in subsequent laser spectroscopy experiments on unstable isotopes at the Beijing Radioactive Ion-beam Facility(BRIF).
文摘Introduction: Endotracheal intubation is a vital life-saving skill required by physicians in life-threatening situations in and out of the hospital. Medical students are exposed to these procedures mainly as they rotate through the department of Anaesthesia, in their subspecialty posting in Surgery. In this study, we sought to assess the ease of learning endotracheal intubation by medical students in the skills laboratory using an adult-sized (Laerdal Medical) manikin. Methods: This was a prospective descriptive study assessing the ability of medical students at endotracheal intubation during their 12-week rotation in the Anaesthesia Department during their subspecialty posting from August to October 2019 in the Skills Laboratory. An adult-sized manikin (Laerdal Medical) intubating head was used for the study. This was preceded by a detailed lecture and demonstration in the skills laboratory after successful passage of the endotracheal tube and connected to a self-inflating ventilation (Ambou) bag. Adequate chest movement meant proper placement, while the fullness of the stomach meant oesophageal intubation. Results: All the 500 level (45) students in the class were recruited for this prospective study. 30 (66%) had successful endotracheal intubation at the first attempt, 7 (14.4%) at the second attempt, 5 (11.1%) at the third attempt, 2 (4.4%) students at the fourth attempt and 1 (2.2%) had successful endotracheal intubation at the fifth attempt. Attempts were made to reinforce information on the practical procedure by a repeat performance by the instructor after each set of successful attempts was separated from the pack of unsuccessful candidates. In the end, however, we had 100% successful endotracheal intubation, but after 5 attempts by the last medical student. Conclusion: Endotracheal intubation skills can be learned with some level of ease when done after detailed information and training of medical students. More so when not under undue stress and life-threatening situations in the skills laboratory. By extension, this increases the confidence of medical students in the live patients in the Operating Theatre, after repeated attempts in the skills laboratory. This has the benefit of improving the chances of acquisition of endotracheal intubation in real-life situations.

文摘As high-dynamics and weak-signal are of two primary concerns of navigation using Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)signals,an acquisition algorithm based on threetime fractional Fourier transform(FRFT)is presented to simplify the calculation effectively.Firstly,the correlation results similar to linear frequency modulated(LFM)signals are derived on the basis of the high dynamic GNSS signal model.Then,the principle of obtaining the optimum rotation angle is analyzed,which is measured by FRFT projection lengths with two selected rotation angles.Finally,Doppler shift,Doppler rate,and code phase are accurately estimated in a real-time and low signal to noise ratio(SNR)wireless communication system.The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the fast FRFT algorithm can accurately estimate the high dynamic parameters by converting the traditional two-dimensional search process to only three times FRFT.While the acquisition performance is basically the same,the computational complexity and running time are greatly reduced,which is more conductive to practical application.
