U...Aluminum(Al) particles are good fuel additives to improve the energy output performances of explosives. Under detonation environment, reaction delay of Al particles plays a key role in the energy release efficiency. Up to date, reaction delay of Al particles is still limited by the efficiency of mass and heat transfer from oxidizers to Al particles. To address this issue, a homogeneous fuel-oxidizer assembly has recently become a promising strategy. In this work, oxidizer-activated Al fuel particles(ALG) were prepared with glycidyl azide polymer(GAP) as the oxidizer. The ALG was in uniform spherical shape and core-shell structure with shell layer of around 5 nm which was observed by scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. The localized nanoscale mid-IR measurement detected the uniform distribution of characteristic absorption bond of GAP in the shell layer which confirmed the homogenous fuel-oxidizer structure of ALG. A thermal gravimetric analysis of ALG at ultrafast heating rate of 1000℃/min under argon atmosphere was conducted. The decomposition of GAP finished much earlier than that of GAP at heating rate of 10℃/min. Under ultrafast high laser fluence, the reaction response of ALG was characterized and compared with that of micro-sized Al(μAl). With the increase of laser energy, the propagation distance of the shock wave increased. However, the velocity histories were nearly the same when energies were lower than 299 mJ or higher than 706 mJ. The propagation distance of the shock wave for ALG was 0.5 mm larger than that for μAl at 2.1 μs. The underwater explosion showed the peak pressure and the shock wave energy of the ALG-based explosive were both higher than those of the μAl-based explosive at 2.5 m. This study shows the feasibility to improve the energy release of Al-based explosives via using the oxidizer-activated Al fuel particles with energetic polymer as the oxidizer.展开更多

Methods: In a prospective cohort study, 24 eyes of 12 pregnant women were enrolled and monitored throughout pregnancy and after delivery (6 weeks). Intraocular pressure (IOP), central corneal thickness (CCT), corneal endothelium cell (CEC), axial length (AL), corneal curvature (K1, K2), anterior chamber depth (ACD), central subfield thickness (CST), macular volume (MV), cube average thickness (CAT), retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL), tear meniscus height (TMH), and breaking up time (BUT) were measured throughout pregnancy, and blood plasma levels of maternal hormones were determined at the same time points. Results: A gradual decrease in IOP values was observed as gestation progressed, and there was a statistically significant difference in IOP between the 3rd trimester and the 1st and 2nd trimester and postpartum (p = 0.002, p = 0.006, p = 0.050). There was a significant difference between the 1st and 2nd trimesters in terms of MV (p = 0.023). The difference in RNFL in the 3rd trimester and postpartum was significant (p = 0.011). The levels of the β-hCG showed a significant correlation with K2, ACD, and TMH only in the 2nd trimester (r = 0.588, p = 0.045;r = - 0.740, p = 0.006;r = 0.642, p = 0.024). Regarding luteinizing hormone, there was a negative correlation with MV in the 1st and 2nd trimesters (r = - 0.598, p = 0.040;r = - 0.672, p = 0.017) and CAT in the 1st and 2nd trimesters (r = - 0.599, p = 0.040;r = - 0.655, p = 0.021). Luteinizing hormone levels were correlated with ACD (r = - 0.702, p = 0.011) in the 2nd trimester and K2 (r = 0.585, p = 0.046) in the 3rd trimester. A correlation was found between follicle-stimulating hormone levels and CEC, MV and CAT in the 1st trimester (r = - 0.677, p = 0.016;r = - 0.602, p = 0.039;r = - 0.584, p = 0.046) and AL in the 3rd trimester (r = - 0.618, p = 0.032). The correlation between oestradiol and CST in the 1st trimester (r = - 0.621, p = 0.031) and RNFL (r = 0.594, p = 0.041) in the postpartum. A statistically significant correlation between progesterone and MV (r = 0.583, p = 0.047) and TMH (r = 0.762, p = 0.004) was observed in the 1st trimester. No significant intergroup correlation was observed postpartum (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Ophthalmological parameters showed physiological changes induced by hormone levels in pregnancy and returned to baseline levels after delivery.展开更多

Conversely, work-related stress ranges between 20% and 40% in nursing. Other researchers noted that 35.1% of nurses globally experienced elevated stress levels. Stress can damage well-being and lead to coping, which can, directly and indirectly, improve well-being through a perceived state. Nurses need coping mechanisms to manage their stress levels and maintain stability. Coping mechanisms can vary greatly depending on a nurse’s culture and background. Numerous findings indicate that managing stress is more critical than the cause of stress and that the more successful a stress-management approach, the less damage stress brings. Objective: In response to this, it is necessary to explore Omani nurses’ stress level and their coping strategies working in tertiary governmental hospitals in Muscat. Methods: The sample size for this study was 383 Omani nurses, with a 100% response rate. This study used a descriptive cross-sectional design from 15 October 2020 to 30 November 2020. Samples were selected through proportionate population sampling (PPS) from the five selected tertiary hospitals. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires using a perceived stress scale and Ways of Coping. A simple random sample within a stratum (each hospital admitting ward) was done to identify the study participants. The sample size for this study was 383 Omani nurses, with a 100% response rate. Results: About 83.3% of participants had a moderate perceived level of stress with an overall mean perceived stress level of 18.46 ± 4.52. The most common sources of perceived stress are feeling nervous and “stressed” in the last month (2.30 ± 0.95). According to the ways of coping strategies, nurses seemed to be resorting to more “planful problem” (mean = 11.04) and least was seeking social support (mean = 9.67). Conclusion: This study highlighted the work-related stress level of staff nurses, explored their ways of coping and determined the relationship between work-related stress levels and methods of coping. The key finding of this study was that the frequency of stress reported by nurses was high enough to suggest that their stress levels were significant, given the demanding nature of their profession that requires maximum attention. Additionally, nurses seemed to resort to more planful problem-solving mechanisms to deal with their stressful situations than other coping strategies.展开更多

This study investigated the prevalence and risk factors of WRMSDs among Healthcare workers in five reference hospitals in the City of Douala-Cameroon. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 2022 among 561 healthcare workers working in five reference hospitals in the city of Douala, Cameroon. Participants were selected using a convenient sampling technique. Data were collected with structured questionnaires;data on the demographics and risk factors were collected using a well-designed questionnaire, while estimation of the prevalence of WRMSDs was done using the Modified Nordic questionnaire. Results: The overall prevalence rate of WRMSDs among healthcare workers in Douala hospitals was 83.4% (468/561). The prevalence per professional groups was as follows: 88.8% (71) for Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS), 81.9% (289) for nurses, 21 (80.8%) for Physiotherapists (PTs) and 78.8% (41) for Medical Doctors (MDs). There was a significant difference (p = 0.001) in the prevalence of WRMSDs with respect to place of work where healthcare workers from HLD recorded the highest prevalence 89.9%, while Healthcare workers from NBDH were 2.91 times at risk (AOR = 2.91;95% CI: 1.32 - 6.41;p = 0.001) to develop WRMSDs than healthcare workers in the other hospitals. With respect to body region, the highest prevalence of WRMSDs was recorded on the lower back, 58.8% with the lowest at the elbows 11.2%. The age group 30 to 39 years was significantly associated with WRMSDs at level of the shoulder (p = 0.002), upper back (p = 0.019), elbows (p Conclusion: The overall prevalence rate of WRMSDs among healthcare workers in Douala hospitals was high. The prevalence of WRMSDs is highest among MLS and nurses and the most affected body parts are;lower back, neck and upper back. 文摘Aluminum(Al) particles are good fuel additives to improve the energy output performances of explosives. This study shows the feasibility to improve the energy release of Al-based explosives via using the oxidizer-activated Al fuel particles with energetic polymer as the oxidizer.

文摘Purpose:To reveal the typical features of text duplication in papers from four medical fields:basic medicine, health management, pharmacology and pharmacy, and public health and preventive medicine. To analyze the reasons for duplication and provide suggestions for the management of medical academic misconduct.Design/methodology/approach:In total,2,469 representative Chinese journal papers were included in our research, which were submitted by researchers in 2020 and 2021.A plagiarism check was carried out using the Academic Misconduct Literature Check System(AMLC).We generated a corrected similarity index based on the AMLC general similarity index for further analysis. We compared the similarity indices of papers in four medical fields and revealed their trends over time;differences in similarity index between review and research articles were also analyzed according to the different fields.Further analysis of 143 papers suspected of plagiarism was also performed from the perspective of sections containing duplication and according to the field of research.Findings:Papers in the field of pharmacology and pharmacy had the highest similarity index(8.67±5.92%),which was significantly higher than that in other fields, except health management. The similarity index of review articles(9.77±10.28%)was significantly higher than that of research articles(7.41±6.26%).In total,143 papers were suspected of plagiarism(5.80%)with similarity indices≥15%;most were papers on health management(78,54.55%),followed by public health and preventive medicine(38,26.58%);90.21%of the 143 papers had duplication in multiple sections, while only 9.79%had duplication in a single section. The distribution of sections with duplication varied among different fields;papers in pharmacology and pharmacy were more likely to have duplication in the data/methods and introduction/background sections, however, papers in health management were more likely to contain duplication in the introduction/background or results/discussion sections.Different structures for papers in different fields may have caused these differences.Research limitations:There were three limitations to our research.Firstly,we observed that a small number of papers have been checked early. It is unknown who conducted the plagiarism check as this can be included in other evaluations, such as applications for Science and technology projects or awards. If the authors carried out the check, text with high similarity indices may have been excluded before submission, meaning the similarity index in our research may have been lower than the original value.Secondly, there were only four medical fields included in our research.Additional analysis on a wider scale is required in the future.Thirdly, only a general similarity index was calculated in our study;other similarity indices were not tested.Practical implications:A comprehensive analysis of similarity indices in four medical fields was performed. We made several recommendations for the supervision of medical academic misconduct and the formation of criteria for defining suspected plagiarism for medical papers,as well as for the improved accuracy of text duplication checks.Originality/value:We quantified the differences between the AMLC general similarity index and the corrected index, described the situation around text duplication and plagiarism in papers from four medical fields, and revealed differences in similarity indices between different article types. We also revealed differences in the sections containing duplication for papers with suspected plagiarism among different fields.

文摘To explore how manganese affects the antioxidant system and the expression levels of related genes of“Hong yang”seedlings, the leaves of its tissue cultured seedlings were taken as test materials, and single factor treatment was performed by changing the manganese chloride(MnCl_(2)·4H_(2)O)solution concentration when spraying the leaves. The expression levels of Mn-SOD,POD64 and POD27 genes in leaves were quantitatively analyzed by real-time quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR)at different determination times.Meanwhile, the contents of malondial-dehyde(MDA),hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)),the activities of antioxidant enzymes, including catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),and superoxide dismutase(SOD).The results showed that the SOD,CAT,POD,ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and reduced glutathione(GSH)activities in leaves were the highest at 12 h post-treatment with 50μM MnCl_(2)·4H_(2)O.Furthermore,the contents of MDA and H_(2)O_(2) in leaves also peaked when the concentration of H_(2)O_(2) is 50μM,which is the minimum value.Additionally at 50μM Mn^(2+),the Mn-SOD and POD27 expression was up-regulated as compared to the control, which promoted the expression of their respective enzyme activities.However,POD64 expression increased with the increasing Mn^(2+) concentration.Therefore,50μM is the optimal concentration of Mn when exogenously applied on“Hong yang”,which improve the antioxidant enzyme activity and regulate the plant’s physiological and biochemical functions.

文摘Visible-infrared person re-identification(VIPR), is a cross-modal retrieval task that searches a target from a gallery captured by cameras of different spectrums. The severe challenge for VIPR is the large intra-class variation caused by the modal discrepancy between visible and infrared images. For that, this paper proposes a query related cluster(QRC) method for VIPR.Firstly, this paper uses an attention mechanism to calculate the similarity relation between a visible query and infrared images with the same identity in the gallery.Secondly, those infrared images with the same query images are aggregated by using the similarity relation to form a dynamic clustering center corresponding to the query image.Thirdly, QRC loss function is designed to enlarge the similarity between the query image and its dynamic cluster center to achieve query related clustering, so as to compact the intra-class variations.Consequently, in the proposed QRC method, each query has its own dynamic clustering center, which can well characterize intra-class variations in VIPR.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed QRC method is superior to many state-of-the-art approaches, acquiring a 90.77% rank-1 identification rate on the RegDB dataset.

文摘BACKGROUND It is positive to integrate and evaluate the risk factors for postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome and to detect highrisk patients as early as possible, which has application value for the clinical development of personalized prevention programs and prognosis of patients.AIM To analyze factors related to postpartum depression in patients with pregnancyinduced hypertension and construct and evaluate a nomogram model.METHODS The clinical data of 276 patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension admitted to Huzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital between January 2017 and April 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. We evaluated the depression incidence at 6 wk postpartum. The depression group included patients with postpartum depression, and the remainder were in the non-depression group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis and the LASSO regression model were applied to analyze the factors related to postpartum depression in patients with pregnancyinduced hypertension. After that,a risk prediction model nomogram was constructed and evaluated.RESULTS Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that vitamin A deficiency(VAD)during pregnancy and puerperium, family history of hypertension, maternal intestinal flora imbalance, eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA),and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)were independent risk factors for postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension(P<0.05).We constructed the nomogram model based on these five risk factors. The area under the curve, specificity, and sensitivity of the model in predicting postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension was 0.867(95%confidence interval:0.828–0.935),0.676,and 0.889,respectively.The average absolute error was 0.037(Hosmer-Lemeshow testχ2=10.739,P=0.217).CONCLUSION VAD during pregnancy and puerperium, family history of hypertension, maternal intestinal flora imbalance,EPA,and DHA affect postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension.
文摘This study aims to analyze the clinical significance and mechanism of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(NRF2)and glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)in primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC).Methods:The expression of NRF2 and GPX4 in peripheral blood of patients with PHC was determined to analyze the diagnostic value of the two combined for PHC.The prognostic significance of NRF2 and GPX4 was evaluated by 3-year followup.Human liver epithelial cells THLE-2 and human hepatocellular carcinoma cells HepG2 were purchased, and the expression of NRF2 and GPX4 in the cells was determined.NRF2 and GPX4 aberrant expression vectors were constructed and transfected into HepG2,and changes in cell proliferation and invasion capabilities were observed. Results:The expression of NRF2 and GPX4 in patients with PHC was higher than that in patients with LC or VH(p<0.05),and the two indicators combined was excellent in diagnosing PHC.Moreover, patients with high expression of NRF2 and GPX4 had a higher risk of death(p<0.05).In in vitro experiments, both NRF2 and GPX4 expression was elevated in HepG2(p<0.05).HepG2 activity was enhanced by increasing the expression of the two, vice versa(p<0.05).Conclusion:NRF2 and GPX4 combined is excellent in diagnosing PHC,and promotes the malignant development of PHC.
文摘BACKGROUND Although the availability of related living donors(LDs)provides a better chance for receiving kidney transplantation(KT),the evaluation protocols for LD selection remain a safeguard for the LD’s safety. These protocols are variable from one center to another, resulting in variable rates of decline of the potential LDs(PLDs).The decline of willing PLDs may occur at any stage of evaluation, starting from the initial contact and counseling to the day of operation.AIM To identify the causes of the decline of PLDs,the predictors of PLD candidacy, and the effect on achieving LDKT.METHODS A retrospective study was performed on the willing PLDs who attended our outpatient clinic for kidney donation to their related potential recipients between October 2015 and December 2022.The variables influencing their candidacy rate and the fate of their potential recipients were studied. Two groups of PLDs were compared:Candidate PLDs after a completed evaluation vs non-candidate PLDs with a complete or incomplete evaluation.A multivariate logistic regression was performed to assess the factors contributing to the achievement of PLD candidacy.RESULTS Of 321 willing PLDs,257 PLDs(80.1%)accessed the evaluation to variable extents for 212 potential recipients, with a mean age(range)of 40.5±10.4(18-65)years,including 169 females(65.8%).The remaining 64 PLDs(19.9%)did not access the evaluation.Only 58 PLDs(18.1%)succeeded in donating, but 199 PDLs(62.0%)were declined;exclusion occurred in 144 PLDs(56.0%)for immunological causes(37.5%),medical causes(54.9%),combined causes(9.7%),and financial causes(2.1%).Regression and release occurred in 55 PLDs(17.1%).The potential recipients with candidate PLDs were not significantly different from those with non-candidate PLDs,except in age(P=0.041),rates of completed evaluation, and exclusion of PLDs(P<0.001).There were no factors that independently influenced the rate of PLD candidacy. Most patients who failed to have KT after the decline of their PLDs remained on hemodialysis for 6 mo to 6 years.CONCLUSION The rate of decline of willing related PLDs was high due to medical or immunological contraindications, release,or regression of PLDs.It reduced the chances of high percentages of potential recipients in LDKT.
文摘Background: To explore the changes in ocular biomechanics during pregnancy and the postpartum period and their association with maternal hormone level changes. Conclusion: Ophthalmological parameters showed physiological changes induced by hormone levels in pregnancy and returned to baseline levels after delivery.

文摘The popularity of flexible working hours around the world has slowed down the historical trend of reducing working hours. It even shows signs of regression.Whether and how to guide the cur-rent society with flexible working hours to return to the historical track of reducing working hours, improve the quality of working hours, and promote a smooth transition from the era of traditional standard work-ing hours to the era of flexible working hours has become a question related to the legal regulation of working hours in the new era.In this regard, although Western countries have proposed new regulatory concepts and carried out legislative practices with distinctive charac-teristics,the limitations of legal regulation capabilities have prevented them from proposing a package of institutional solutions. The advan-tage of China in the ability of legal regulation of working hours has been gradually formed in the legislation on working hours unnder the leadership of the CPC in the past century. It enables China to break through the limitations of the West and propose a Chinese approach to answer the question of the legal regulation of working hours in the new era from three aspects:limiting the extension of working hours, improving the quality of flexible working hours, and optimizing the funnctions of the multi-funnctional regulatory system for working hours.
文摘Introduction: Work-related stress has become a global issue in the nursing workplace, with about 9.20% - 68.0% of nurses globally experiencing stress. Additionally, nurses seemed to resort to more planful problem-solving mechanisms to deal with their stressful situations than other coping strategies.
文摘Introduction: Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs) are a public health problem and have forced many workers to quit their jobs prematurely. Working on the same posture, stressful job, and repetitive tasks were the major risk factors associated to WRMSDs among healthcare workers in Douala hospitals.
